The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear.

Louisa wasn't that much nice or the role model kids should look up to or anything. Yet Lily didn't seem to mind her.
Her term? Internally scoffing at that, Louisa shrugged. "OWLs mostly. It's why I didn't get to spend much time with my friends. All of them," she bumped Lily's arm gently. "Although my boyfriend... left. And is not a boyfriend anymore but that's okay." Louisa didn't want to talk about boys in front of twelve year olds. That was inappropriate, right? Right.
Just as she was about to ask something else, something flickered at the corner of her eye. Louisa looked at the staff table and saw Althea and Eddie... Charading? "Wow, professor Roslund must've spilled the beans," Louisa said carefully, watching the scene. It was obvious that Althea wasn't very impressed. Hopefully she wouldn't decapitate the messengers of his letters while seeing all red.
With her attention back to Lily, she smiled. "Well. Let's talk about something cheerful. How about summer, your plans?"
Lily listened patiently at Louisa's term summary, which wasn't that much compared to the first year's. She even laughed as her older friend bumped her arm. "Are OWLs hard?... like harder than finals?.." She asked before noticing the 'boyfriend' thing "Boy's are icky.... or at least most boys...like Logan.. he's not icky." Lily didn't like boys... but she understood that someone like Louisa might like boys because she was older. Maybe being almost 12 had some disadvantages...
The little claw almost looked like a little intuitive puppy as she looked up at the staff table alongside Louisa. "I like Professor Roslund... he was really nice. Especially when I bunked my head on my telescope." Lily replied beaming. She felt like she could be proud of everything she had done this year. Especially around Louisa, just to show her that she really had broken out of her shell... or at least most of the way out.
Once the little scene had ended, Lily turned back to the table. "I don't really have plans... other than going back home to my friends." That would be fun. She hadn't seen them since the previous summer. "But how do you keep magic a secret? All of my friends are going to want to know where I went..." She sighed and looked up at her friend. "So what are you doing this summer?"

Vashti nodded at Lily's question. "Yeah, I am," she replied. "This'll be my last feast at Hogwarts." Which did make it kind of sad, and she was really going to miss the elves' cooking, but...she'd be okay. It wasn't the end of the world.
...Louisa seemed to think it was though. Or something. She obviously wasn't taking any of this well. "Nobody's got amnesia," Vashti told her. "Anakin and I broke up." Therefore, no boyfriend. It was really that simple.
Because pffft, like she could ever forget about Anakin.
"Did you like Hogwarts?" Lily asked looking up to the seventh year. "I like it so far." She could probably assume that everyone like the school but there was always one that didn't like it and couldn't wait to get out. "What are you going to do after tomorrow? Are you going to get a job or go to school somewhere else?" The little claw smiled. Hopefully Vashti didn't mind answering questions of a curious first year. If she wanted to hang out with her older friends, Lily would be fine just sitting next to Louisa and eating the feast. She could be quiet really well...just ask Louisa.
"I know its gone so fast." nicki said imageing the term. " it was fun and good." it bets going to muggle school nicki thought to herself
oh Morgen she remebered " okay. i am trusting you." she laughed
nicki ate some of the Cassarole that she put on her plate. " i can wait to next term getting away from my sister and we wont be the knew ones." she said although she did like being knew because everyone was nice to her well almost everyone. " anyway i was thinking about dieing my hair next term do you think i should." she said she had asked because she couldnt make up her mind.
"What color were you thinking?" Morgan replied eyeing up her friend's hair. It was quite beautiful, but she always liked to shake things up for herself, so why not for a friend?! "I'm sure you'll look amazing in anything!" she replied happily.
these replies are somewhat on the short side, sorry... D:

Out of the older prefects, Treyen was really the only one she spoke to on an almost daily basis. Vashti probably thought that she was a little odd, but at least she wasn't showing it right now.
Seeing the Head Girl's smile made her feel a little better and she relaxed her shoulders a bit. "Y-Y-You have?" Kurumi could hardly believe that, an older student looking up, erm, down, erm, whatever towards a younger student.
Kurumi seemed surprised... Of course Vashti had been surprised too when Kurumi had called her an inspiration, so perhaps she shouldn't be surprised by Kurumi's surprise. If that made any sense. It wasn't like people said things like this every day. At least, no people Vashti knew. "Of course," she replied sincerely, still smiling.

Did she like Hogwarts? Vashti grinned. "I loved Hogwarts," she answered. "And I'm glad to hear you do too." Or at least that she liked it. It was only Lily's first year though, so she would probably grow to love it too, the Head Girl was sure.
What was she going to do after tomorrow though? Vashti thought for a moment before replying, "I think...I might try to do both. Get a job to get a taste of what it's like working in the real world but still continue my studies." It seemed like the best plan to her right now.
