Violet laughed. "Sure thing. Come visit me over the holiday, or I can visit you." Violet thought for a moment at his question. "I'm not sure what I want to do, not necessarily a herbologist. I just enjoy learning about plants." smiling at him.

"I would love either one. So where do you live? you mentioned Canada before, do you still live there?" Maxwell asked, he wanted to know more about Violet, Also he'd never been to Canada. "Ok, I'm not sure either. at first i wanted to be an auror, but now i'm thinking about something involving Transfiguration. it's my best subject, Maybe a Transfiguration teacher." Maxwell said thoughtfully.

Violet smiled. "I told you already. I live in Vancouver where my parents are right now. I miss that beautiful scenery there and our home. It will be nice to visit them again. I miss them." Violet felt like crying at that moment. She didn't know that she felt so homesick, but she tried to hide it anyways to keep from Maxwell feeling worried about her. "Auror you say? That sounds interesting, transfiguration too, but I was never very good at it."

Maxwell laughed. "I'm sorry that whole mess with Ariana got me a little mixed up i wasn't sure if you were from Canada or lived there or what." Maxwell could see there was something upsetting Violet but didn't push it. "I miss home, I miss my mum. It was my sister Tabatha's birthday a few weeks back, she just turned 11 She wrote me and told me she got Accepted into Beauxbatons, I wish i could have been there to see her get it." Maxwell said feeling happy and a bit sad that Tabatha wouldn't get to see Hogwarts. "I wasn't that good at it either until i spent so much time studying, it's most of what i do with my free time. I'm not sure i'd make a very good Auror anymore, but i think it'd be fun to be a Transfiguration teacher."

Violet laughed as well. "That is ok. "I miss home as well. Your sister got accepted into beauxbaton? That is very exciting, I had always wanted to visit there and I also can learn some more french! Had to study frenchin Canada when I went to muggle school." Violet turned face around to Maxwell. " I think you'd make anextraordinary auror, you could protect me." Violet blushed at the last sentence and looked down at her dinner plate.

"I'm very excited for her." Maxwell said. He noticed Violet blush at the end of her sentence. "Anytime, I get the chance." Maxwell said in response then lifted Violet's head gently and kissed her softly on the lips.

Everything seemed to happen in a blur. First, she and Maxwell had been talking about their future plans after graduating Hogwarts, then he had kissed her on the lips. Violet's head was spinning with dizziness and she couldn't take it anymore. She didn't know how to react to what had just happened. Her eyes wide she replied, "Um..um..I'm sorry Max. I got to go and sleep. I'm not feeling so well." She pushed him lightly off of her and grabbed her things and rushed out of the Great Hall still pressing her fingers to her lips.

Maxwell watched as Violet rushed out of the Great Hall, in silence and mainly shock...'Not the reaction I was hoping for, Jordan's bound to laugh at me for this.' He thought. took his time getting up and exited the Great Hall.

Kendra stared intently at her copy of the daily prophet as she sat cross legged on the bench in the great hall, the magically sky a sort of... pinky colour that morning, with clouds darting across in an imaginary breeze. As usual, she was reading the section on either animals, or quidditch, as the wizarding sport absolutly amazed her no end. Whilst doing this, however, she had a spoonful of cereal, cheerios, poised halfway between the bowl and her mouth. Slowly, the cereal eventually made it to her mouth whilst she read about the Australian team's win against the English. She chewed slowly, slightly oblivious to what was happening around her.

Taylor went to the ravenclaw table and laid her bag on it. She took a seat and waited for her friend to catch up so they can talk again.

Lily walked into the great hall after pausing to see the hourglasses with the points. Because of that stop, Taylor had beaten Lily to the table. "Ok, I'm here." Lily said grabbing a seat across from Taylor. Putting her bag next to her, Lily looked up and smiled at Taylor. "Are you hungry?" Lily asked as she reached for a sandwich that had appeared on the platter nearest to the girls. Lily loved the house elves in the kitchen that made whatever they wanted to eat.

"N-" Before Taylor could finish saying no, she realized that she was starving so she grabbed a sandwich. "Yeah i am." She giggled and nibbed at her sandwich, "So are we still in the lead with house points?" Tay haven't stopped by the hourglass in a while now.

Lily laughed out loud as Taylor started to say no, but had changed her mind and quickly grabbed a sandwich. "No, hufflepuff is in first but we are a close second." Lily replied, taking a big bite of her sandwich, eating like she had not eaten in weeks. She had just eaten a couple of hours earlier, but she hadn't eaten much, and she was growing rapidly, even though she hadn't yet entered the teen years. Taking a swig of pumpkin juice, Lily smiled at her friend. "I guess that means we need to keep working, and maybe win some quidditch matches."

"Hmmm yeah we would." She nodded and laughed. Tay got a slice of piece of pizza. She smiled at her friend, "Though as long as my cousins don't get annoying with their bragging, i will be fine." Taylor chuckled. Her hunger was subsiding now so, she finished her slice and grabbed her butterbeer and sipped it.

Lily finished her sandwich, and looked around to see if anyone else was in the vicinity. "What houses are your cousins in?" Lily asked as she finished up her pumpkin juice. She wasn't sure what to do next, maybe go to the common room for a nap or something. It seemed really late. Maybe it's about time we head back to the common room...we don't want to be caught wandering the corridors late at night. Lily thought, not saying anything Taylor was still finishing up her butterbeer.

Tay finished her butterbeer. "Hufflepuffs." She laughed and yawned, "Hey want to go up to the common room or are you still hungry or thirsty?"Taylor stood up and stretched. She hoped that it isn't too late to get to their commonroom.

"Yeah, lets hope they don't bug you about being in the lead." Lily said yawning, because yawning is contagious. "Naw, I'm not still hungry or thirsty. We should probably head up to the common room though. It's getting kinda late." Lily grabbed her bag, and swung it onto her back, before standing up. "You ready to go?" Lily asked before starting to head out of the great hall.

"yeah hopefully." She twirled and nodded, "I agree we should be heading up." Taylor skipped by Lily's side going out of the great hall. She was smiling and happy.

While settling down next to Alex, Jo caught the eye of her friend Taylor, walking out of the Hall. She nodded and waved at her rather subtly.

Vickers was starved. He has been at the study table for hours and his grumbling tummy was making it difficult for him to concentrate on his homework, so the Ravenclaw took his books and parchment and moved to the Great Hall where he could eat and study

He settled into his usual seat at the Eagle table and set his books around him, drumming his fingers a little impatiently for the Elves to come up with his meal.

Laci was skipping, down the aisles by each table when she stopped short. "Vickers!" Yes she remembered his stage name. Inviting herself she sat down next to the claw and looked over his shoulder at what he was studying. "You know, America has never lost a war in which donkeys were used.. Just a factoid there, makes me want a pet donkey.... Well one of my own." Because there were PLENTY where she calls home.

He looked up at the sound of his name, and saw the familiar red-head skipping towards him "Hi Laci!" he greeted her as she settled beside him. Then he had to blink at her next statement "W-Really?" he uttered, his brain of course still stuck on wars and America has never lost. He was about to correct her but then he realized.... did the US ever even use donkeys for warfare? Waaaaaay back maybe, then again he wasnt sure if the United States back then was the same way it was now.

But his attention was taken by something else "You'd want to have a pet donkey?" He started to chuckle as he set his reading materials aside. "Have you ever heard the saying 'Stubborn as a mule?' Suffice it to say they're not quite your run of the mill pony or domesticated horse." Then again... "Why would you even want to have a pet donkey?"

Vickers looked at her in a curious manner, which just made Laci want to make the same curious face back at him... So she did... "Why of COURSE I want one of my own! Don't you?" Laci was bewildered by his statements. Anything could be nice with the proper love and care, stubborn or not. "Stubbornness wouldn't be a problem. It's what I do. I'm the trainer remember?" Unless she didn't tell him she was the trainer... Wait did she.. Her finger on her lip, Laci's eyes rolled up and she tried to remember... Losing her train of thought completely and ending up just dozing.

DOOO DO DOOOO

Vickers nodded his head, he hasnt forgotten that she was an animal trainer "I suppose it would be easier for you but I just worry that you might put in so much effort with very little results, there is a reason why Horses are used for shows and donkeys for the most part are relegated to beasts of burden." Then a thought occurred to him, could it be possible that Laci actually meant miniature horses? Given her experience with animals he doubted she could make such a mistake, but nonetheless he wanted to ask her anyway when suddenly--

-- why are her eyes rolled up like that?

Frightened that Laci was having some kind of seizure Vickers gripped the sleeves of her robe and slid next to her "Laci? Laci?!?" he murmured, trying to nudge her gently. Was she still breathing? Should he call for help? Wait why is he debating this when her brain could be starving for air and she could wind up brain dead. He should bring her to the Healer stat!

So he attempts to scoop her up, and nearly toppled forward because he obviously has no clue how to carry a fellow human being. Other than the fact that geeks arent really known for strong arms.

Laci really didn't know what was going on for a few seconds until Vickers was calling her name? "Hm?" She looked at him but he was already tugging at the sleeves of her blouse and then.... Oh boy... Good thing she was wearing tights for this... Vickers tried to pick her up! "W-woahhhhh!" Then Vickers toppled forward while Laci went backwards. She laughed and squealed and laughed some more. That was quite the 'trip'. Then she needed to see how Vickers was doing. She jumped up onto her feet and made her way to him lifting his head up. "Are you okay?!" Maybe he hit his head or something...
