The Common Room has been redecorated to celebrate the amazing victory of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team over the very talented players of Ravenclaw!
There's various tables of food and beverages set up in the corner, comfortable couches and a large banner that spreads across the whole of the ceiling, "Congratulations Hufflepuff Quidditch Team"
There's some spirited music playing in the room, so feel free to nosh, dance and mingle with each other!
Party it up, Rabid Badgers! For tomorrow, classes and homework studies resume ;D
Major cloning here. Would appreciate Hadley's presence at the Hospital Wing

Which wasn't to say that they couldn't play it. It was just the hardest one for them to perfect. "But we will be needing some talented Chasers to make up for what we're losing." He sighed at the thought of losing both Treyen and Lewis in one year.
Then pandemonium broke in as Lyss went down. He watched the scene unfold, a passive bystander. Several people were already dealing with it, and he didn't think crowding around was what she needed at the moment. Especially since this was kinda the Head Boy's territory, no? I mean, she was his teammate, but Treyen's as well. And this type of thing is more in his job description than mine.
As Lyssie lay on the ground bent over in pain, she overheard her Quidditch Captain mention something about Beaters and how it was a tough position for females to perfect. Alyssa thought to herself. 'If I wasn't so ill right now, I'll pick up my Bat and show Keefer how much I have perfected my position right now. The hardest position to perfect....pffft!!'

Judging from the way Oakey was rambling, she guessed that there WAS too much sugar at the party. And eh? What was up with Alyssa? Sipping her butterbeer, she watched as others crowded around the third year.
"Er ... Miss Potter? Everything alright?" She was just overwhelmed with excitement. That HAD to be it.
"No Professor, my tummy hurts really bad. I didn't have anything to eat today either, so it's not because of the sugar like Oakey seems to be 'high' on. It hurt during the game but it's gotten worse now."Alyssa tried to explain to the Professor.

"I don't think anyone could be as melodramatic as the characters on that show." That was true. When Sammy said that she was sixth year, Evelyn smiled. "Me too!" Gosh, only one more term to go before she left school. Sigh. It was quite sad, really. She'd also heard that the last year would involve a lot of studying. She definitely didn't look forward to that.
Awesome house? "Absolutely. We are the best." Evelyn nodded her head seriously. That was why she was at every quidditch match cheering for her house. She really wanted to play since she loved the game so much but she knew it was just wishful thinking. Anyway, it didn't really make much sense since she would be here for only another term. Besides, she was terrible at sports.
"it is." Sammy agreed, nodding her head ever so slightly. She chose not to mention that her aunt and her had watched it for three hours once because they were bored. Admittedly it had been fun to yell at the screen with her aunt telling her to shut up. "Seriously? How the heck haven't we met before" she said, surly two old farts would have met at some point. Especially considering it was the end of the sixth year. Maybe it was just one of those cases that there were tons of people at Hogwarts. Probably. But it was still weird. Like she probably knew more of Katie's friends than people in her own year. WEIRD.
"Precisely" she said with another nod. Hufflepuff was the best, everyone was so much fun. The name even sounded fun. HUFFLE PUFF. What wasn't fun about the house? "I don't get why some people think we're just a bunch of dunderheads" she said with a small frown. They weren't dumb, they just valued certain things over intelligence. Like loyalty. Loyalty was super important. Without loyalty everything would be a wreck.

"I know! I mean, it's just crazy." Evelyn said, with a laugh. She was definitely wondering why they hadn't met before. They were both sixth years AND they were puffs..yeah, it was weird. Even though she found Sammy slightly weird, the girl was very amusing. "Have you been here long?" She settled more comfortably on her chair and stretched out her legs in the front.
"They do? Why?" Evelyn asked, with a surprised look on her face and pushed her hair back from her face. She'd joined Hogwarts this year but in all this time, she'd never met anyone who thought she was a..dunderhead. But..if people did think that..well, they were sadly mistaken.

Ella nodded though from her seat in the stands, the team seemed to be pretty quick. Maybe it was different when they were playing? Plus, Keefer was Captain so it was kind of his job to notice things like that, no? "I'm sure it'll improve next term. Especially since people will have the summer to practice." Assuming people wanted to spend their holiday flying but honestly, who wouldn't want to? "Yeah, I know it's hard but I'm not afraid..." Of hard work or bludgers flying towards my face. "Chasers. Right. Well I-I guess I could try for chaser." Though the fact that she would be trying to fill the shoes of Mr. Head Boy was extremely intimidating not to mention making her feel ill.

Keefer smirked, somewhat doubting the BigHead Boy's claims that he willingly offered to wear the shirt. "Suuuuuuure she didn't. You just keep telling yourself that, buck-o." He sighed and shook his head a bit. I mean, the guy is clearly head-over-heels here. He'd do anything for her. So she probably just mentioned it and he did it to make her happy. So willingly, but only somewhat.

Seeing as Head Boy and Head of House, were both by Alyssa and taking care of her. Oakey decided it was time he continued his congratulations else where. Looking around he spotted the Quidditch Captain, Keefer.
Just running on the 14 Sugary drinks he had downed moments ago, Oakey darted to Keefer's side. Keeferkeeferkeeferkeeferkeefer! Oakey rambled uncontrollably to get his attention. Keefer!TodaysmatchwasAMAZING!youwerealllikeBLOCKan dNOWAYandSAVEandyouwerelikeawallbutnotreallycausey ou'reapersonbutnotjustapersonbutanAWSOMEpersonwhog otusthevictiory! He turned his attention back to the refreshment table quickly. Heydoyouwantadrinktherewasthisawsomedrinkoverthere thatIreallylikeithasthisBANGofatastedoyouwantoneIc angogetyouacup.
Before the Captain could respond Oakey disappeared and popped up beside the refreshment table and looked for his favorite drink. Circling the table multiple times he looked and looked and looked for the sugary drink, but all that was there was an empty bowl with a ladle sitting in it. WHAT?!?!?!nononononononononononononononono. doesntthischarmbacktobeingfullorsomethingcomeoncom eoncomeon!REFILLALREADY! He said aloud and fast. He looked under the table for another drink but none were there he circled the table again but nothing happened.
Disappointed that there was no more awesome drink he returned to Keefer. I think somebody finished the drink. That somebody being him.I wish there was more. You would've *YAWN* really liked it. Oakey had the sudden urge to just lay down on the floor right there and then. He felt really tired. *YAWN* I think I need to sit down.

"I mean, last year it was understandable because I did absolutely everything to avoid homework and hardly stayed in one place for more than five minutes but this is just ridiculous" Sammy said, yeah, the sugar was having an affect on her brain now. Which could only mean one thing, she was going to start jumping soon. Not just yet, but soon. She was probably going to scare the crap out of Evie but she was excited and she had sugar so you know. "Since first year" she said happily before adding "I missed most of fourth year though" She still had no idea what she had missed that term. Probably some midget drama. "What about you?"
Sammy thought about it for a moment. "I think it's because my cloak was too big for me in first year and I tripped over all the time. Eventually I figured out that I didn't have to wear it, but I still tripped over a lot. Not as much but a little" she said with a small giggle. She didn't mind people calling her a dunderhead, as long as people didn't call her friends dunderheads, then they were going down. Hufflepuff style. Which basically means hugging nice-ness into them.

Josephina felt herself swelling up with pride as she heard applause throughout the common room. They might applaud her, but she was speaking the truth. She was proud of ALL of them.
Fina made her way over to the beverage table and quietly poured herself a glass of butterbeer where she contentedly observed the students. They were enjoying themselves, it seemed. But she did wonder for a brief moment if perhaps the house elves outdid themselves in terms of sugary foods and drinks. Glenn beamed as she heard her head of house's speech and called across the room, "Yeah Hufflepuff!" She took a sip of some butterbeer she had grabbed from the table and head over to her head of house to tell her that her speech was great when...
Alyssa was.. clutching her stomach? "Alyssa... are you okay?" Glenn said quietly, setting down her butterbeer on a near table and kneeling near her. Although further away than the others who were crowded around her.
Still trying to make his way to the drinks, he overheard Messer giving Alec a hard time. "Alec... the ladies' man! Don't let it go to his head, eh, Messer?" he laughed. What with his awesome Quidditch talent and constant supply of sweets... He's turning into a miniature Treyen! he thought, noticing the slightly ruffled hair. He chuckled at the thought.
Messer turned his gaze toward his captain. Ladies' man? Hmm..New nickname for his roommate. "Yes. Alec the ladies' man." he said more to himself. "Quite the contrary, Captain. I was planning it go to his head." he smirked. Because teasing Alec would make his school year more fun.
"Congratulation once again Captain. How it feels to win that shinny cup?"

... No.
Hearing a clucking, Alec turned to look up at the boy who was now speaking to him. Messer! Usually the sight of his fellow firstie would have made Alec grin... but not now. Why? Because Messer was being Messer and mocking Alec now. Typical.
"For someone who doesn't like girls, you're surrounded by girls a lot as well, you know," he said, "Are you jealous that I have friends who are girls?" Messer could be. And maybe that's why he kept on pointing out that he, Alec, was around girls or that him and Anya were anything more than just friends.
And speaking of Anya... "You're going to tell her that I'm surrounded by girls?" Because there was no way he was going to let Messer say anything like that to Anya. Not because of how Anya would react, but because of how Messer would make it sound. His roommate was a weirdo.
Him? Surrounded by girls? Please. "Which girls? I don't see one. You on the other hand." he said smirking while his eyes went from Ella to the other girl whom he didn't know and gave them a quick 'Hello' nod. Minnie? Winnie? or something. "I'm not jealous. I have friends who are girls too you know." Nope, he definitely not jealous especially with Alec Summer!
Hmm..Telling Anya? "Why? Do you want me to tell her?" SMIRK.SMIRK.SMIRK.
Then his eyes went back to Ella when she said about girls and boys being friends. Well, there's nothing wrong being friends with girls but he just can't passed the opportunity to tease his roommate.

She really wished that she joined Hogwarts earlier..anyway, it was all just wishful thinking. First year? "Well, that's good. It's a really long time." Almost six years. Wow. Huh? Missed most of her fourth year? "Oh. Why?"
Erm. "People called you a dunderhead because you kept tripping over your coat?" That was just silly. Silly that people called her a dunderhead because of THAT. "It's a funny word though." A small giggle escaped her lips. She'd never heard of it before..but it did sound funny.

"Oh really? Well that explains it a bit more. Where did you go before?" Sammy asked, smiling. Well yes, that would probably be why they hadn't met. She'd only been here for a year and Sammy still hadn't met people that had been in her year since first year. "Tell me about it, but I don't want to leave" she said about the long time comment. It was true. She was old. Super old. But on the upside she could use magic at home now. Why had she missed most of fourth year? WELL. "Family issue" she said with a small shrug. In all honesty, as much as she liked Eve, she didn't see the point in telling someone else about her whacked up family.
"No, but I can't think of anything else" she said, her cheeks going slightly pink. No one had ever called HER a dunderhead, but she had heard someone say that Hufflepuff was full of them. Stupid Slytherin. No wonder Ev was in that house. She couldn't help but let out a bit of a giggle/snort/chuckle/laugh when she said that it was a funny word "it is a bit. "
