On the grounds next to the vegetable patch, an area has been squared off for a potato sack hopping relay race between the houses. Stuck in the ground are about 20 poles in house colors with some distance between them in a straight line. The professors have also put up a starting line where each house has cases packed to the brim of good sized potato sacks at the students' disposal. There is no shortage of sacks. The cases will re-stock themselves if the need is dire. Each student is supposed to weave themselves around and between all the poles from left to right in a zig zag motion and then back to their friends. You have to hop until your legs get numb and really give your all for your team!

Everyone receives tokens for participating.
1 quality post= 1 token
2 quality posts= 2 tokens
However if your posts are lacking effort then they will earn you fewer tokens.
Crossing the finish line= 1 token
And the winners also get bragging rights.
The rules:
This is an RP event; to get some tokens you have to RP and show some effort.
Each potato hop team has to consist of 3 members.
Each team has to come up with a name for their team and post who their members are in their first post.
The game will run over 3 rounds to allow everyone to find a team and take part.. Each student has to hop in a potato sack down the field and around all 20 poles and back to where he/she pats the next member on the shoulder (to "tag" them in so to speak).
When all 3 members have completed their legs, you have to sit down to show professors you are done.
Each round lasts 3 days, and after one round is finished the next round will open. Each user has to post as many quality posts and as times as they like, to reach the end. By "quality" we mean at least one good sized paragraph, 4 lines of text, and a bit of effort put into the posts.
We know that in the heat of the moment, adrenaline will run high but please, no pushing, shoving, or use of magic to get advantages. Bad behavior isn't tolerated!

Potato sack race! Heck yeah! Isobel was so excited; well the entire thing made her ecstatic. She thought every single activity looked totally awesome; and she could not wait to try them all. Right now, she was ready for the potato sack race, but she wanted to be on a team with her best friend and not some random people she did not know. Isobel showed up with Maybelle close behind her and looked around for the staff adviser. Oh geez; it was Lafay, head of Slytherin. The most contact Isobel had with Slytherins was hugging them. "Professor," she spoke shyly. "Can we be on the same team?" Isobel gestured from herself to Maybelle.

Yup, it was official. They were team one. Her and her new friend from Gryffindor Ira and another Slytherin student. "Lafay didn't even allowed us to choose. She did the honors," she commented as she chuckled slightly. She faced the Slytherin boy, "Nice to meet you Isaac, my name's Beezus." she introduced herself also.
Now..what should their team be called? One from Ravenclaw, one from Gryffindor and one from Slytherin. "Err--Slyffinclaw?" Beezus suggested. Combining them seemes ridiculous. "Or Ravethindor?"

Slyffinclaw? Ravethindor? They were nice.. but.. "Beezus, the names are fine.. I mean, you really combined all the three houses, but don't they seem a little.. um, funny to hear?" At least it did, according to Ira. So she suggested something else, "Is it necessary to combine house names? Can't we just keep a general name, like... Thunder Hawks or Ghost Riders? Yeah.. how about Ghost Riders?"

"Ghost Riders sounds good te me." he said shrugging. Making a face as the other two argued about the names, well Beezus did anyway.
More people were joining the group now, so he figured they really better settle on a name before Lafay got irritated asking again. Looking around at the others, he looked back at his team, shrugging. "It really don' matter te me either way."

Seemed like Gustav didn't need to find another member because the professor had already assigned a gryffindor student over to them.
"Hello,my name is Gustav, this is Gwen...we are your teammates, seem like we are in team 3,"he said after introducing them to the student.
"Do you have ideas of coming up with a group name?"he asked the both of them.
That was definitely true. Names weren't that important. What's important was that they have team work and that they'd cooperate with each other in order to win. "Agreed. After all, Professor Lafay would still call us team 1.." she told the two as she chuckled.
However, her mind was still making combination of names. "Ghost Riders..You win. Err--Israzus? You know Israzus team?" she suggested sheepishly. "Oh, never mind me." Beezus added.
"Thats good! I like the name Israzus! It sounds cool!" Ira exclaimed. "It seems good to combine all three of us![/B]" Ira really liked it. Beezus seemed to have a natural flair of combining words and generating names..
"And now that teams 3 and 4 have also been chosen by Professor Lafay, I think the game will start soon." Ira really wanted this game to start fast and get over with. She had yet to try some of the other games too...

Gustav turned to look at the potato sacks laying on the ground not far from them. He wondered where were the potatoes since there were none found in the area. Perhaps they would be trying to race each other to find the most numbers of potatoes to put in the bag.
Gustav overheard that they were to form a group of three and need to have a team name.
" I think we need one more member and a team name..."he said to her. He looked around to see if there was anyone want to join their team.

'I don't know... I guess we'll have to be 3', the Ravenclaw told Gustav and looked around. Perhaps there's someone willing to join the team, the third year thought, but soon she realized there was no reason to search for someone. Professor Lafay already did.
Isn't that the Gryffindor Prefect?, the girl asked herself and then looked back at Gustav. 'Well there you go', she smirked. Now they had all they needed to win the race. They were going to win.
'A name for the team...', Gwendolyn mused. Well, I can only come up with names to mock people, and I don't see how that's going to help us here. Nope-- no ideas so far.
Gustav thought of a name for their team. He wondered if a team name mattered for a race, would it be better to just call themselves 'Team 3' which was much easier to comprehend.
"Maybe...we can call ourselves 'The Frontiers'..?"he suggested.
"Or...some funny names like 'Butterbeer Crew' or 'Team Shonofear'...or 'Comeback'..."he chuckled.

"One more person," Sierra said, stepping up alongside Lafay. Technically, she was grounded and wasn't supposed to be participating in anything but classes and Quidditch. If her professor thought it'd be okay, though, who was she to stop her? Besides, it was getting a little boring being in the common room day in, day out. Even a snake needed some fresh air every once in a while.

Laura looked at the scary old Lady that was telling them what team they were in, seriously shouldn't they be able to decide for themselves, well anyway she would work with her team now where were the other people in her group, she'd have to find them.

Adam walked up to Professor Lafay, warily. He had no clue about her personality but he never heard anything good about her. "Umm..excuse me Professor..Umm..You put us in as team three, he pointed at the HufflePuff an Ravenclaw...An our team name is going to be "The Butterbeer Crew."

"Fine." She said and nodded. "Go join your team."
She pointed her wand to the sky and a whistle came out. "Alright get your sack. And go to the starting line. Round One will start as soon as I shoot a beginning shot." She waited.
"Ready?"
Her wand went back to the sky and she shot a green spark straight out. and said "GO!!!"

Zhenya grabbed the two other members of her team, and scrambled through her brain to find a team name... "How about Team Marauder?" she said... she waited to see if anyone had a problem with that, or perhaps had any other names.

Here they were still discussing their team names and the race was about to begin! "Just decide something and tell it to Professor Lafay.." Then she heard Lafay's voice. Signalling to Isaac and Beezus, that she would go first, Ira rushed over to the starting line and grabbed a potato sack lying to the side. She quickly pulled it up her legs and waited at the starting line.
Ready!! Go! As soon as the green sparks emerged from Lafay's wand, Ira hopped forwards. She had to win this!
"Olright I go first,I'll be right back guys..get ready soon,"Gustav said as he pulled the sacked over his leg as he waited for the signal.
He saw the green spark and hopped forward and as far as he could. He was not going to fall behind. He quickly catch up with the rest of the hoppers.Easy, he could easily hopped past them without breaking a sweat.
