The Office of Professor Isabelle Magnus Upon entering the office, after being invited in by the professor, the first thing you notice are two plush chairs just asking to be sat in. Beyond those is a large dark wooden desk, and a slightly bigger chair for Isabelle herself. The desk is covered in various bits of parchment and photo frames - which, if you get at the right angle, you can see contain pictures of her with her husband and other family members. A brand new addition is an extra large frame containing a picture of Isabelle's daughter Scarlet at one month old.
Along the back wall is a medium sized bookcase/display cabinet, not completely filled, although there are a fair few things on there, like extra stationary and odds and ends. Several ornaments are on display along the top shelf, all gifts from her family, and safely out the way of prying hands and leaping cats.
Yes - cats. Or one cat to be exact. Most likely to be found sat on the end of Isabelle's desk, or curled up on the bed below, is Angel, all pure white and fluffy tailed. She likes having her ears scratched - so if she purrs at you, go right ahead. OOC: Please don't post inside the office until you have been invited in by Isabelle. The Corridor Outside is the place to wait. Just have your character knock on her door there, and when she is ready for you, I will quote you and ask you to come in. Thanks. | |

However I have heard that meditation can help to control emotions, which are big part in when and how it manifests itself. Have you tried that?" Issy did occasionally, and found it to be quite calming.

Tennessee entered the room and greeted Professor Magnus, "Good day to you Professor." Her eyes landed on the frames on her table and gulped. "I just finished doing my first Transfigurations homework you see," she said motioning to the frame she have in her hands. "And since you said we could give it to someone, i thought of you," Tennessee smiled.

Father has told me that when my ability gets the best of me and...my hair changes colors without my willing it to do so,, that I think of something cold or boring to calm myself down." She straightened her posture a bit. " That has seemed to help....but it doesn't help me control it...it's just a reaction to it controlling me."

In all honesty, in the years she had been a teacher, no one had actually asked for help regarding a matter such as Kurumi's. So Isabelle was slightly at a loss for what to say to make the girl feel better, or in any way achieve what she wanted to. "I suppose the more you get frustrated by it, the less control you will have. It will come with age and experience though. Doing as your father suggested is a good idea, but deep breathing techniques are always helpful when trying to calm yourself." Isabelle tilted her head to the side and smiled. "Perhaps it could be more of a psychological thing - it annoys you that you can't control it, but the more your emotions are upset, the less you can control it." If that made any sense. It had done in her head.

Kurumi picked up her bag and slung it over her shoulder and bowed quickly in her direction. " You as well, Professor Magnus." And with a genuine smile, Kurumi walked out of her office and shut the door quietly behind her.
