Late afternoon. Sure. The school should be quiet enough with people already in the mood of a nice weekend. He nodded in agreement, as he also said "Yes, I don't have any lesson then." Luckily.

Scanning the paper to check if he got everything alright, he got up as he shoved it into the pocket of his robes.

"Thank you professor." Why thanking her, now? Because she accepted to teach him to become an animagus? "And, if that's all..." I shall leave.

Good, good. She was right. The old memory was working again then. Baby brain seemed to have worn off. "Good. In that case I'll meet you there, and leave the door unlocked for you."

She watched as he looked over the paper, and smiled when it all seemed to be right. Oh, yes. "You're welcome, Mister Neves. And that is all, yes. Have a good day and I'll see you Friday." Isabelle nodded her head to show he was dismissed and to signal a goodbye.

Kurumi nodded. Nothing more really needed to be said on the matter. She DID feel like a giant weight had been lifted off her shoulder. She had been carrying that with her all summer and all of last term. Still, she felt guilty about it...and even more so now that she knew that she would have earned herself a detention and point loss. "I will," she nodded again. "And...if there is anything I can do to...make this all up to you...please let me know." Cleaning, organizing, anything. No expectations on Kurumi's end, just a way to pay back the Transfiguration professor.

"Do you know...what sort of things I can do to practice?" she asked sheepishly. "Father has tried to train me but...our abilities manifest themselves in very different ways, so what works for him doesn't work for me." Maybe she needed to speak with the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor about yoga.

Make it up to her? Right there and then Isabelle couldn't think of anything. She was never one to turn down offers of help, though, so there was bound to be an opportunity in the future. "For now just continuing to be honest with me is enough," she smiled, relaxing back into her seat.

"Well, from a personal point of view, I don't know as much about the ability as your father would. However I have heard that meditation can help to control emotions, which are big part in when and how it manifests itself. Have you tried that?" Issy did occasionally, and found it to be quite calming.

Tennessee entered the room and greeted Professor Magnus, "Good day to you Professor." Her eyes landed on the frames on her table and gulped. "I just finished doing my first Transfigurations homework you see," she said motioning to the frame she have in her hands. "And since you said we could give it to someone, i thought of you," Tennessee smiled.

Kurumi nodded her head again. Honesty, right, Kurumi could handle that much. Her body position relaxed a bit and Kurumi rolled her shoulders to relieve any tension that may have been left.

In the next instant Kurumi found herself blinking in slight dismay. Wait...she ought to try taking...Woah, hold onto your tail feathers. Kurumi had just seriously misheard what Professor Magnus had suggested and all the breath had escaped her lungs. It all came rushing back after a few moments though. "Meditation...I can't say that I really have, at least, not in the traditional sense of the word. Father has told me that when my ability gets the best of me and...my hair changes colors without my willing it to do so,, that I think of something cold or boring to calm myself down." She straightened her posture a bit. "That has seemed to help....but it doesn't help me control it...it's just a reaction to it controlling me."

"And to you....Miss Williams," yes, Isabelle was sure she had that right. So many kids names to remember. But she was getting better at it. And this was incredibly sweet. The first time anyone had thought of her for the homework she had set. How lovely.

"Well thank you! I'm touched. And I must say, you're spell work looks to have gone well. I shall add it to my collection here," Issy smiled, gesturing to the few she had on her desk and around the room.

Hmmm. In all honesty, in the years she had been a teacher, no one had actually asked for help regarding a matter such as Kurumi's. So Isabelle was slightly at a loss for what to say to make the girl feel better, or in any way achieve what she wanted to.

"I suppose the more you get frustrated by it, the less control you will have. It will come with age and experience though. Doing as your father suggested is a good idea, but deep breathing techniques are always helpful when trying to calm yourself." Isabelle tilted her head to the side and smiled. "Perhaps it could be more of a psychological thing - it annoys you that you can't control it, but the more your emotions are upset, the less you can control it." If that made any sense. It had done in her head.

Kurumi nodded. It made sense. It all made sense and was very similar to the learning process and struggle she had had last term in trying to conjure a patronus in their Defense Against the Dark Arts class. She still wasn't able to produce a proper one, but she certainly was much closer than she had been before the lesson. "It...isn't just emotions that are related to anger or sadness," Kurumi said in a small voice. "It manifests itself with extreme happiness too.." Still, what Professor Magnus said made sense. Mental blockage, intent, concentration...all magic was connected by several unbreakable strings.

Still, Kurumi knew there was only way for her to ever really be able to what needed to be done was to talk to the one person who was holding her back. Well, one of the two people.

"I think...I need to try and figure out of things on my own," she said after a few moments. She needed to fin a new angle and clear her head. "Thank you for, um, listening to me...Professor Magnus." She should probably get going and stop taking up so much of her time.

Maxwell walked into the office to see Kurumi leaving.

"Hello, professor I just wanted to touch base with you about my studies to become an Animagus i don't believe i've spoken with you much outside of class this year and i just wanted to know if there was anything new i could work on?"

Yes, any emotion that was strong would have the ability to mess with her....ability. That made sense. However Isabelle didn't really have much more she could tell the prefect to do. It was quite a specialist subject, and really only people that were born could give proper advice - although the girl seemed to take notice of what she'd said.

"Well I just hope I was of some help to you," Issy smiled, relaxing her posture again. "If you ever want to talk about anything, you know my door is open." She stood up now, as Kurumi had seemed to signal the end of the conversation. "Have a good day, Kurumi."

Ah, Maxwell. Here about his Animagus studies again. Right.

Isabelle put down the paper she had picked up when Kurumi had left, and smiled at him. Gesturing for him to take a seat, she sighed slightly. "To be honest with you, Maxwell, I gave you a list of all the books relevant to the subject. For your age group. Aside from reading, there isn't anything more you can do yet. The practical side can't be started for at least another 3 years."

"All right, I figured as much but i thought i'd come and make sure. I've been reading the books you've suggested, Thank You for your time Professor." Maxwell said preparing to leave the office.

Rising from her seat now, Kurumi brushed the hem of her skirt that had turned up in places while she had been squirming in her seat. "You did, professor," Kurumi replied with a small smile. In many ways, and not just in regards with how to deal with her ability. Feeling a little more at ease now, especially with some sort of game plan to try. "I certainly have a few things to try." And think about.

Kurumi picked up her bag and slung it over her shoulder and bowed quickly in her direction. "You as well, Professor Magnus." And with a genuine smile, Kurumi walked out of her office and shut the door quietly behind her.
