Hannah wasn't sure if she wanted to try the salmon roll...she still wasn't too sure how she felt about salmon. Still she decided that she had better give a go. She sniffed it a few times and took a quick nibble. Wow she thought to herself this is great. She wished that she could sit there and eat them all but the class was moving on.


She took note of the directions for the italian soda. She knew that she would love this. Hannah measured the kiwi syrup into a 20oz cup and added some ice. She then poured in the half and half creamer and stirred it well. Her mouth was starting to water at this and it seemed like she couldn't get it stirred quick enough. When she was satisifed she topped it off with whipped cream. Mouth watering she went in for a taste and the soda did not disappoint. She had it down in 4 gulps.

Okay it was time for finish making the dessert. Alyssa picked up the remainer of the cake that she had sliced into cubes and layered it over the Cool Whip and Heath Bits. Once she had finished adding the layer of cake on, she picked up the package containing the remainder of the chocolate pudding and poured it out over the cake. Putting aside the package, she took a spoon and smoothed the pudding over the cake before picking up her favorite can of cool whip. She shook the can as hard as she could, before removing the lid and tipping the can over the bowl, tipped the nozzle allowing the whipped cream to spray out covering the pudding. Sneaking another spray into her mouth, Alyssa quickly laid the can and picked up the package of crushed Heath bits and sprinkled that on top of the whipped cream.

Then she reviewed the directions on the recipe to see what she had to do next. But realized that except for the refrigeration part, she had successfully completed her dessert. Just to be on the safe side, she read over the instructions and scratched out the steps that she had completed.



Except for the eating part, she was basically done. She made sure that all the ingredients had been used.



Satisfied that all the ingredients, except for the Cool Whip, which she was going to sneak into her bag, had been used, Alyssa determined that her dessert was done. Now she could sit back and enjoy her meal. Starting with her salmon and moving down the courses.

Hannah had to focus back on the professor...her mind was still on that delicious drink that she had just consumed. Now it was time to make the salad. She again took notes and got straight to work.


Ok first she needed the bread. She grabbed the bread and laid it out in front of her. She also grabbed the cheese and sprinkled it on the bread. With a quick glance at her notes she grabbed the knife and cut the toast in half. Now she had to thinly slice the peppers. She wasn't sure how nice they would come out or how thin either for that matter. Still it had to be done and she seriously doubted that they would do themselves. She started slicing the peppers and to her amazement they actually came out looking half way decent and they were even thin! Next she the flag on top of each of them.

Post 1- Kahula Desert
 

Belle was waiting to eat this desert! She was excited to try something new. She looked at the ingredients and got them to her table. Then she read the first set of directions. She cut the pound cake into cubes and put into the bottom of the bowl. Then she drizzzled the kahula over the cake. It already looked delicious in Belle's eyes. Then she took the pudding and put a layer of pudding over cake. Belle was licking her fingers she couldn't help it. It tasted soo good.

Picking up her fork, Kurumi took a few bites of her salad, avoiding the bread for now and deciding to try the combination of strawberry and vegetable. Surprisingly, the flavors mixed well together. Kurumi had never thought of putting fruit in salad - although nuts were a common addition - so perhaps she would do that in the future.

Pushing the remaining bits of salad aside, Kurumi removed the pound cake from her next basket and removed a clean bread knife to begin slicing it up. Kurumi twisted the cap of the bottle of Kahlua and the smell almost knocked her over. She really hadn't expected it to be so...strong. Cake in the bottom of her bowl, Kurumi began to drizzle the brown liquid over the cake and then added the pudding. She finished up this layer with Cool Whip, which was something else that was new to her, and then sprinkled it with the Heath bits.

One layer down Kurumi licked the spoon covered in Cool Whip before continuing.

Now it was time to move on to the dressing. Hannah whisked the oil, lemon juice, honey and the seasoning together. She whisked for a while and dabbed her finger in the mix and had a quick taste. To her it tasted like it needed more pepper...oh how Hannah loved pepper. She sprinkled a bit more on the mix and had another taste. Perfect! she said to herself.


Next she arranged the lettuce, strawberries, and radishes all pretty like and then drizzled the dressing over her masterpiece. It did look pretty good to her if she did say so herself...and she did!

Post 2- Kahlua Dessert
 

Belle got to the second steps of making the desert. She next put a layer of cool whip over the pudding and sprinkled with heath bits. It looks soo tasty her mouth was watering. Then she repeated a second layer of cake drizzled with Kahula, pudding, cool whip and heath bits. It looked more like the professors so she was doing something right! After she was done, she began to eat it and it tasted really good!

Now it was time to make dessert...one of the best courses in her opinion and this one sure did seem yummy. She didn't wasnt any time messing around of this recipe...she went straight to work.


She cut up the pound cake into cubes and put them into the bottom of her bowl. She heard her stomach growling all of a sudden and did a quick look around to see if anyone was looking at her crazy. She always wished someone was because she was in the mood to let somebody have it. To her dismay though it seemed like no one even heard or they were all just engrossed in their own meals to notice. Oh well there's always tomorrow she thought to herself. Moving on...she took the Kahlua and drizzled it over the cake. The Kahlua smelled amazing and Hannah was ready to get this recipe over with so she could stuff her face. She took the pudding and put a layer over the cake. Almost done she thought to herself. The smell was making her feel like she hadn't ate in months!

After trying out the salad, which he loved Jory cleared up to make way for the dessert. He made a mental note to try making this salad at home. And to enlighten his mom.

He placed the cake in front of him and then grabbing his knife,which he had cleaned, he began to cut it into cubes. Neatly, he covered the bowl's base with some of it. Next Jory drizzled some Kahlua. With the pudding , the Puff added a good amount over the cake layer. After adding a generous amount of whipped cream (honestly, he was never going to get tired of it) he sprinkled some Heath bits over it.

Realizing that she was risking finishing off her Cool Whip before she had finished putting together her dessert. So, rather reluctantly, Kurumi put the spoon down and returned to adding more of her sliced cake, trying to make some sort of arrangement so that would ensure that all the pieces made it into the dish. Waste not, right?

Once all the cake bits were in it, Kurumi drizzled more of the dark syrupy liquid over it and then added more pudding. She had to really scrape around the container of Cool Whip to get enough to to put another layer on top, but somehow managed to, and then sprinkled on more Heath bits. And that should do it.

Kurumi had completely forgotten about eating the food she had made, and decided to return to her salad first to finish it off. She wasn't really a fan of the salmon and cream cheese, but also didn't want it to go to waste. She hated wasting food. Munching on some greens, Kurumi took a glance around the classroom. "Does...anyone want some salmon?"

She was almost done with her dessert and was ready to chow down so she looked at her notes and realized that she now needed to put a layer of cool whip over her pudding. Mmmm cool whip...she could just eat that by itself. She grabbed the cool whip and put a layer of it over the pudding and sprinkled it with heath bits. She then did another layer of cake drizzled with kahlua, then pudding, cool whip and more heath bits.


Hannah looked at her completed work with glazed eyes. She was ready to dig in. She got her spoon and took a big chunk of the dessert. As soon as it hit her lips she knew that this was going to be a new favorite of hers. It was absolutely delicious. Her mind started wandering a bit...she couldn't believe that her first year was almost over...it seemed like she was just fitted for her wand yesterday.

Finished with the first set of instruction, Jory repeated the same steps again until the dessert was done. The aroma was enough to drive any one crazy, it smelled so good.

After he was done, he made some notes on this recipe, deciding he would also try this one at home. Then he waited for the rest of the class to finish.

Nerida was messing with the cool whip when someone offered salmon, she looked down at her salmon plate..it was empty, she liked it a lot, she would have to make it for her family when she got home! She said Sure, Kurumi, would you like some...Salad? She didnt like Salad, so she had basically only ate a couple greens and that was pretty much it...She offered Kurumi salad because thats what she saw that she was eating...

Oh so they could eat what they’re making? That got this Ravenclaw to smile. Setting the salad aside for later he reached out for the toothpicked dish and popped a roll into his mouth. Yup seafood and cheese-- two of his favorite things.

But now it was time to assemble dessert, so Vickers brought out the rest of the ingredients from the basket. He scourgified his tools again, then took out a nice clean bowl and scourgified that too. He reached out for the pound cake and sliced them into nice large dices, then lined them across the bottom of the bowl. He then took out the Kahlua bottle and drizzled it amount onto the pound cake cubes. Setting the bottle down he started to scoop up pudding out of its container and slathering it onto the cubes, followed by a generous layer of cool whip. Turning his attention back to the chopping board he unwrapped the Heath bar and began slicing and crushing it into smaller bits using the knife, the sprinkling these all across the cool whip.


He turned upon hearing Kurumi's offer "Hey yeah sure, I'd like one." he said as he reached out for a salmon roll "Help yourself with some of mine." he gestured towards the salad and salmon plates.

Alyssa looked around as the other students were offering each other the food they had prepared. Not too keen on the Salmon although she had taken one bite, she called out,"Would anyone like a bite of my Salmon. I have plenty of it here, as well as the Salad Dessert."

Snacking on the salmon rolls, Vickers completed the second layer to the dessert, layering in the added pound cake cubes and drizzling a generous helping of Kahlua onto the new additions. He then added in the last of the pudding and the cool whip, then sprinkled Heath bar bits across the top to garnish.

And he was done.

Turning her attention to the younger Ravenclaw, Kurumi pushed the plate towards her. Merlin was she thankful that she wouldn't be wasting food. "Oh, that is very kind of you, but no thank you," Kurumi said politely. She was already sort of full from eating her own along with the carbonated drink that she was unsure if she would even finish her dessert. "Take as many as you would like though." The salmon rolls that is.

Kurumi's head turned back around when she head another voice say they were interested in some of her salmon. "Vickers," she squeaked, offering him a small smile. "Here you go," she said as she offered the plate to him as well. She flashed him another appreciative smile.

Gemma smiled as the students finished up their different dishes and began sharing their creations. She finished up her different dishes and then stood up and said, "Well I hope ya'll had fun creating your dishes from this hemisphere..." she said excitedly, "Don't worry about cleaning up, I'll take care of it and since this is my last lesson of the year, I hope you all have a great break and I will see you back next term if I don't run into you before the feast wraps up."

With a flick of her wand the homework assignment appeared on the screen above,

Alyssa balanced the plates of food and her drink and picked up her back pack. She decided that she would at least clean up her desk, so taking out her wand, she said "Scourgify" cleaning up the desk, before holstering her wand. She then made her way over to the Professor. "Thank you for another interesting class, Professor. I hope that you will have a wonderful summer. Uh!...would you by any chance want some of my salad and salmon? I'm kinda full and not feeling too good right now, so I don't want to waste it." Alyssa asked the Professor.

Belle heard the professor ending the class. She was sad that it was ending. She had soo much fun in this class. She copied down the homework and left the class. "Thank you soo much for the lesson professor." she said sweetly. "I hope to see you next term and i think my favorite dish was the desert." she stated as she left the classroom.

Nerida smilled over at Kurumi and took another and said Thank you! She turned back towards the Professor and wrote down the homwork, cleaned up her work space, and collected her belonginings. She said Thank you Professor, for that wonderful class!

Jory copied the homework and then he he cleaned up the stuff he had used.

"Great lesson, Professor Cerulean,'' he said when he was done and was gathering his book in to his bag. "I'm going to give some of these recipes a try at home.'' Jory never knew he'd enjoy cooking.

"Bye, Professor,'' he called as he headed out of the classroom.
