Her older brother and her younger brother wanted her to come and visit and talk about Hogwarts and if it's fun but her older sister, mother and father and her stepmother didn't want her to come back at all and brainwash everyone. How could she brainwash anyone while talking about Hogwarts? This place is amazing and she would love to have her other brother to come and visit her and even her younger brother for that.
Adeline snapped out her little daydream rant in her head and knew that she had to answer what Alec has asked her because she knew that he would worry if she didn't respond back to him and she didn't want him to worry at all. Maybe she could come up with a little white lie. Yes that would be easy even though she's a terrible liar. "I've been doing good. I know you haven't. I was sick for a couple of days. I had a horrible cough." she lied at the last part. She wasn't sick at all she was just scared of what happens to her brain and her heart when she around Alec.

Adeline... didn't seem to be saying anything. Maybe she was thinking of an answer? But his question wasn't exactly hard. All he had asked was how she had been. Or did girls not like being asked that? Or maybe it was what he had said afterwards that made her slightly weird. He really shouldn't have mentioned that he hadn't seen her around. Now Adeline would probably think of him as some sort of stalker. And to think all he wanted to do was make more friends at Hogwarts.

Alice drifted down the fourth floor corridor, twirling a piece of her long, strawberry-blonde hair around her finger as she cantered about. The lioness continued to wander around the empty hall until her feet stumbled to a stop. Her blue-green eyes glanced up to meet the mirror that was displayed before her. OOOH, SHINY! Alice laiked shiny things. The second year slid her finger down the edge where the mirror had been attached to the wall. She vaguely remembered doing this in her first year, when she had met up with Mia. Wasn't there a catch in the sticky stuff, right... here!
Her hands finally made contact with the little niche as her fingers slid inside and tugged on the little crack. The mirror opened to reveal a small passageway behind it, and though it was caved in, Alice felt a rush of excitement as she peered inside. It slipped her mind that someone could have been watching, and she certainly didn't expect someone to notice her. After all, she was oblivious to nearly everyone, wasn't she?

" Err.. hi there," she said, still pressed against the wall. " Sorry I snapped at you. Uh, I'm not used to being surprised." Figuring this was enough explanation, Alice glanced toward the Mirror again and found the little niche again. Just how badly was the thing caved in?

Huff. Huff. It was always such a long way up. What they needed was like an escalator or elevator. It was just cruel punishment to climb so many stares. None the less, Jezz finally managed to make it up from the kitchens to the fourth floor to drop off another vase full of flowers. These were the daffodils that she was going to leave for Professor Bentley but she changed her mind last minute. She looked all over and luckily found a pedestal near the mirror with nothing on it. Placing the vase down, she looked one last time. In it was a blue colored rose that smelled of blueberries but you couldn't see it unless you looked close enough. she smiled and dragged her self up a few more floors. Common room bound, she was.

For based on the emblem on her robes, it says that she's a lioness. So, if she was indeed doing something out of boundary then maybe she could run and tell Kurumi right now?

The second year looked down at her robes, only to see the Gryffindor crest etched into them. What could the other girl possibly figure out of— wait!! Was she thinking of going and tattling to Kurumi?! Alice scoffed aloud, the disgust plain on her face. Would the Ravenclaw really sink as low as to run to a Prefect and tell on her? " I honestly hope that you aren't planning on tattling to a Prefect, for your own sake. Spare yourself the embarrassment and notice that this is a known passage, will you?" She wasn't meaning to be rude, but.. it was just so annoying when people decided to get all nosy and try to play boss. " Sorry to be harsh or rude or whatever you call it, but tattle-tales aren't welcome around me. So if you planning on being one, feel free to leave now." Straightforwardness wasn't a trait the lioness tried to avoid.
