After looking back at Addy, he noticed the scars that were now covering her arm and he sighed. "Haven't I told you before that that cat shouldn't be handled? Even with care?" Honestly, he wasn't kidding about that.
He looked around the compartment now. "I'm sure there is."

Glad that Zayden too was put off by the fact that the newcomer had returned the evil cat and told him to leave it outside, August was starting to warm up to the Slytherin. "Yeah, I had no idea magic really existed until last summer." he chuckled. "My parents went with me to Diagon Alley the first time and my mother was scared to death by one of the Goblins at Gringott's." he listened about the boy's family owning the coffee shop.
"Oh that's pretty neat! I've never actually crossed over to Scotland before...well apart from Hogwarts and stuff." he nodded. Did he know Star Wars? "Of course I've heard of Star Wars. My father loves it, he's shown me the movies a few times. They were pretty good."
Nodding politely to the new girl August introduced himself and scooted over so she had a place to sit. "Hey Adrianna, I'm August Goldstein." He did like meeting new people, made sitting next to random people in lessons less awkward.
"You really didn't miss that much." Okay, Zayden felt like that was the WRONG thing to say because he was the only one that struggled with magic at times. If it wasn't for his dyslexia that made it hard for him to read spells, then he would be okay. "Your mum was scared of the Goblins? They aren't that bad once you get use to them." They did have a nasty personality, though.
... he's never been to SCOTLAND? "Oh, mate. You need to come visit." He wasn't trying to be biased or anything but Scotland was the best. He really didn't like London that much because it was so crowded and he was so use to the low population in the Rhins of Galloway. "I mean, you see a little bit of Scotland from Hogwarts but it's not the same until you fully experience it." He grinned.
ZOMG!!!!!
"Your father loves it? Even if I don't know him, he's already on my likeable list." That was AWESOME. "They're amazing. I can't even describe how amazing Star Wars is." It was his LIFE. "Darth Vader is my favorite all time villian. Ohhhh ANNNNND --" He stopped long enough to pull his lightsaber out of his bag and showed it to his new friend. "It's AWESOME."

"That's cool, my older brothers in the France quidditch team. Hes been on vacation for a week since yesterday. I wish I could have seen him before I borded the train. I see him at his games but, not the same
Arabella-Marie sat and hummed to herself in her compartment hoping that somebody would join her soon and she hoped that she would see some of her friends soon
John picked up his fat, orange, tabby cat and walked around.
*clears throat*
"Do you mind if I sit here for a bit, It's a little crowded where I'm at right, well mostly because of all my stuff? John politely asked, with a smile.
He just needed some space from all the commotion.

"I'm in the coolest house, in my opinion obviously hehe. I'm a Gryffindor!" He added, with a really proud smile as he looked out the window.
Alyssa was disappointed that John wasn't in the same hose as her. But Gryffindors weren't bad either, although she couldn't recall any she knew who was one. "Oh Gryffindor, that's nice. I think the only Gryffindor I know is Kurumi, your house prefect and now you. Well I'd better let you get back to what you were doing. Maybe I'll see you around school. If I do, I hope you won't mind if I say hi. Thanks for letting me sit here for awhile." Alyssa smiled as she got up to leave.
Ellie was 986% sure that that was all she's ever heard Ellie J. say. No, really. She had to be just about the shyest person the redhead's ever met. REALLY. "How was your summer?" she asked, urging the girl on to make conversation. Though, anyone could answer that, really.
Her flower!! "This new girl gave it to me, Treyen! Her name's Laci! She said we're going to be friends! ...Which...actually..." Until that point, Ellie'd worn a large smile on her face. But now...it had shrunk considerably. "She's kind of scary, to be honest. But..." Then Ellie shrugged and grinned again, "I got a flower!"
That was when she took a moment to read his expression. Erm... "Don't look so upset over that..." REALLY. The only time they'd talked about plants was when he helped her study Herbology last term. Which actually helped IMMENSELY, by the way. But her liking flowers was hardly in a position to be brought up.
A shrug rolled off her shoulders again. "If you must know...I don't particularly like them. I don't particularly dislike them. And, actually, they always just end up dying the next day." Her eye's left Treyen's to frown at the flower.
"But isn't it pretty?!" She asked, grinning once more, and holding it out for him to see again.

The fifteen years old watched him getting comfortable in the far end of her bench and talking to Ellie. Good. She didn't want to socialize with Prefects not helping younger students. Not that she was young, she was fifteen now.
...and then precious Dallin walked in! Louisa's face brightened when he met her eyes and waved. Instinctively, her gaze was fixated on that cheekbone that was bruised a couple of months earlier. "Hi." She said, awkwardly seeing him kissing Ellie. Ahem. "You're a Head Boy?" She shot a look at the Trey boy. He better be more helpful as a Head Boy than a Prefect. "That's good." Making it sound like a bad word. Kind of. She had moved her eyes outside the window for a second before the door was open again with a cheerful high-pitched voice. Curiously to see WHO would cram themselves in the already crowded compartment, the Captaaaain!
O___o What?
The fifth year's mouth was slightly open as the redhead cooed over the flower. And. Wait, what was this with the new Head Boy? Louisa squirmed closer to the window for Stone to sit next to her... friend. Although him being skeptical about the flower gave her the feeling that those two shared more than just friendship. Meh. Whatever.
Viola, the tabby cat, was pretty much snoring lightly in her lap by now. Not even those loud voices especially the squealing about the flower kept her from sleeping. Louisa petted the cat's fur slowly as she observed the elderly crowd in the compartment, and keeping her mouth closed.

And - oh, look! The Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain. Dallin waved at Ellie S., but she probably didn't see him. She was busy loving a flower. And Dallin had never seen her like that, to be honest. Except for maybe during one of their birthday celebrations.
Then Treyen started asking about the flower and Dallin bit his lip. For their sake he hoped a boy hadn't given Ellie the flower. He understood why Treyen might not be too happy about that. But it wasn't his business anyway so Dallin just kind of... turned to Ellie J., and replied to her earlier statement.
"Haven't seen you in what, ten minutes?" Heh. Whatever though. They had been ten minutes in a crowded, chaotic train filled with eleven-year-olds that Dallin felt he might accidentally step on and squish. So it was nice to be in this peaceful compartment with old students that Dallin knew he wouldn't step on.
It was right about then that Dallin noticed how quiet Louisa had gotten. So, he turned his attention toward her for a moment. "How've you been?" He asked, kicking his leg out toward her to get her attention. They hadn't seen each other since she came to visit him. He wanted to know how Brazil was. And he wanted to know what she did to her boyfriend for hitting him.
A girl? Oh, well, that was tons better. If it had been a boy, though, it wouldn't have made any difference, except he'll be keeping his eyes wide open for that boy.
Laci? The name didn't sound scary at all. The Head Boy blinked a few times as Ellie spoke, but he said nothing about the flower.
He was relieved, yet he looked away when she mentioned that he shouldn't be upset about it. Really, he was, those are the kind of things one should know, right? And, yes, Eliana, he must know. Oh, okay, he kind of understood what she meant and a small smile made its way to his lips at the part about dying.
Not all flowers are dead by the next day, but whatever.
Treyen chuckled. "I suppose it is." He'd never minded much about flowers, but the girl holding it was indeed pretty.
His eyes went to Louisa for a moment. That was the BEST congratulations he'd gotten the entire summer. No. Not really. "Yeah, thanks." Dallin had to be the one to blame for the treatment he got from Louisa, right? He just had to. They never really discussed if he found Louisa while being him, didn't they?
Speaking of...
...Treyen nodded as Dallin replied. "I had a very busy summer," he did, "A good one, indeed." There was also a smile as he answered.
So, anyway..., "Glad to see you guys are doing okay...," well, Dallin and Ellie, because he knew his Ellie was okay...and, yeah, good to know Louisa was fine as well, "...but I should probably get going." Nod. He should. "See you at the castle." When they got to the feast, or...whenever.
And...he left, he had a compartment to go to, right?

She pouted at Zayden now. "I dunno. You should look." And she was inviting him to look at her toes for her because she was comfortable where she was.
When he took out the lightsabre to show August, she took it from him, making sounds and she started using it like a sword.

Oscar looked up when a girl stuck her head into the compartment. He smiled at her, it wouldn't be bad to have some company right now. He could hardly spend the entire train ride talking to Wally. Wally was an owl after all, his mother had warned him about talking to animals, saying people would think it was weird.
He shook his head and indicated the empty bench, 'do join!' He smiled and put Wally back into his cage, Wally could have some more attention once he was safely sorted and all at Hogwarts. 'My name is Oscar, by the way.'
"Hello, Oscar," Ariella said with a smile as she skipped into the compartment, relieved that she wouldn't have to spend the rest of the ride in solitude. "I'm Ariella. Ariella Adler." She reached out and shook his hand before sitting on the bench across from him.
Listening to what he was saying to Alyssa, she was quite interested in his background. "Homeschooled? That's really cool! I've always been interested in homeschooled people. Do you have classes? Do you parents just teach you, or do you have some sort of tutor?" She paused, trying to collect herself. Why did she always have to scare everyone by talking too much? "Sorry, I tend to ask a lot of questions," Ariella said, slightly embarrassed at herself.

Her head rested against her knees and she looked intently at the guitar strings. She had always loved the guitar. It was perhaps her favorite instrument and Christopher never let her look at his. So she had never really had the opportunity to study someone playing the guitar before. That and Selina was just really comfortable. The train had to have gone through a renovation because the seats seemed much more comfortable this year than previous years. Enough so where if she wanted to she could fall asleep.
The whole compartment went quiet with the exception of the brief squeak of the seat underneath Selina. Then Gideon closed his eyes and strummed his first chord. She waited quietly with bated breath for him to open his eyes and begin. After a minute or two he began to play. It was slow at first and then he found a steady rhythm within the chords. Each harmony and cadence rang out in the small compartment.
When he finished playing she blinked and unwrapped her arms from around her knees. Trying to find the words to speak she said, "I... didn't know you could do that. That's good Gideon. Really it is."
Gideon was so focused on the act of playing and the music he was making that he wasn't aware of Selina's own full focused attention not only the product of his actions but himself and the playing itself. That was until he had stopped playing as gradually as he had started and noticed the way she was looking at him. The fifth year did his best not to appear too flustered at the attention, though it was a little hard seeing as Selina appeared to be apparently speechless at what had just occured.
Was that a good thing or a bad thing?
With his girlfriend, he was never absolutely sure but when she finally spoke once more he had enough of an answer to relax. "Thanks," he replied allowing a smile to cross his face as he set the guitar down beside him on the compartment seat. As much as he was sometimes skeptical of his playing, he knew Selina wasn't one to lie about things. And even when she tried to, she wasn't the greatest at it so Gideon knew her opinion was genuine.
