Emma beamed "Oh yeah, I've heard about it but I thought it was only for the Alumni's! Hmm I don't know... Are you going to go Dianna? Sel" asked Emma. She saw Sel's expression of not going, maybe she could persuade her. It did sound like a good thing.
"Well, Maddie's going, that's for sure," Selena said as she tilted her head slightly at the couple. Awh. How cute. "And I'm definitely not going," Selena added. Ewhh. Why would she go? That meant dressing up and Selena didn't do dressing up because that meant heels. And Selena was not going to wear heels! "It's a pretty good chance to meet people and know what's in store for you," Selena added, "you two should go," she said with a nod. Yeah. They should. Just because she wasn't going didn't mean anything.
Selena raised a brow. "It's going to be at the end of term," Selena said. "It's going to be a ball for the graduates of Hogwarts and they'll have a chance to meet the students of Hogwarts," Selena informed her. "Besides, if you go it'll be a good time to network, gain some internships..." Selena said. She was not going though.

"Oh, Cool." Dianna smiled.
"Hmm... Yeah, I think I'll go. I mean I can't miss an opportunity like that!" she answered Emma.

Selena nodded. "That's good, but don't forget to take lots of pictures, I want to see how it was like~" she said with a smile. Pictures of everything. The alumni they talked to, the decorations, them dancing. Anything was fine. As long as if she didn't have to go. The planning committee didn't need to go... right?

"Oh come on! You have to go too! It would be F.U.N!" Dianna spelled out the word just to emphasized how good it would be.

Emma watched Sel as she admitted that she would never go to the ball and laughed. "Hmm.. Yeah, we could! But you have to come too! Yeah it would be a TON of FUN!!" she exclaimed, "You have to come, otherwise it will be really boring without you!" She grinned hoping that Sel could be persuaded.

"Yeah!" Dianna nodded in agreement.
"I mean your the one who told us about this so you have to.." she added.
Maddie smiled shyly at Simon. 'Thank you' she said 'That's really sweet. But you do look nice!' she added, and looked down at the menu. 'Hey, why don't we have ice cream sundaes?' she said, giggling. Ice cream... yum.
Simon looked at Maddie. "You look better." Simon thought that Maddie looked stunning. "I think that would be great." Simon loved ice-cream and if Maddie wanted Ice-cream then Ice-cream should would get." Simon hoped that Maddie would let him pay. "Here we go." He said getting out his money, why don't you go and order what you want and get me the same."

Emma smiled at Dianna. It was like old times, when they used to ask her brother stuff. She thought, Good point! "So is it a yes??" asked Emma excitedly. There was no way Sel could get around this one.

'Fine' siad Maddie, giggling 'I give in, I look better' she laughed. Simon did look really nice, though. 'Oh, er, thank you' she said, standing up and taking the money. Hmmph. She'd wanted to pay... ah, well. She walked up to the counter, and ordered two chocolate ice creams. Yummy. Wlaking back to the table, she picked up two spoons and set the food on the table. 'Here you go' se said happily, placing one in front of Simon.

Simon watched as Maddie went to get the food, he then turned to see who else was in, but he didn't know anyone so he turned back to look at Maddie but she was already on her way back.
"Thanks." Simon smiled as he looked at Maddie, was this date going well or not Simon had no idea.

Selena rolled her eyes. Pressure, pressure. That's what she was dealing with her entire life. And balls. She hated them. "No, I'm not going," Selena said finally. Besides, they'd all get dates and forget Selena. And she'd be there the whole night for no reason. No. She was going to eat ice cream and draw.

Dianna didn't want Selena not to go but she didn't want to bother her either so she just kept silent and ate her remaining pie. Hopefully something will make Selena change her mind.
Oh, snow. How pretty! Gold loved snow. Even though she had it in her hair, now. But that was alright, the white would actually look pretty with the red. Gold chuckled at her silly thoughts, as she pulled Chris into Madame Puddifoot's. Because it was snowing, and they needed refuge. AND that was the nearest place, so they might as well go inside.
"It's so pretty outside," she said, the moment she had pulled him in, and the door had swung shut them beside them. "But cold."

Yush, she was cold now.
POUT.
Walking down the street with Gold was fun. Hand in hand the two Gryffindors headed towards the shops, bundled up in their coats being pelted by the never-ending snowfall. Just when Chris was about to suggest the head towards the Three Broomsticks for a nice butterbeer, he felt Gold tugging his arm in the other direction. The Head Boy looked up and he died a bit inside.
Not Puddifoot's!!!That place was every boy's nightmare, well besides the kissing of course. The reason Chris hated it was the God awful decorations all over the place. But he supposed he could stand it out...especially with Gold. Yes. He could do it for her. Who knew, maybe he would have fun.
Walking into the place behind her, the annoying little bell sounded arrival, and Chris shivered. He began to pull of his mittens and unwrapped his scarf and shed his jacket. He then turned to face Gold snow in his hair and grinned. "You have snow flakes in your hair. I won't move them though because of the whole fire and ice thing you've got going on up there." he chuckled and held his arms out for her winter things to hang up with his stuff.
"Do you want to find us a seat and I will get us some food and something warm to drink?" he was knew at this so he wasn't sure what she liked. "What would you like Awesome!Gold?" he said with that boyish grin, the snow finally starting to melt from his dark hair.

Once she was inside, Gold scanned the place with her eyes. Her experience of Hogsmeade was very limited. The school had been on lockdown last year and, that considered, she had only come here once or twice. The first time, she had headed to the Three Broomsticks; and the second, to the Hog's Head, which hadn't turned out too well.
She had never been in Madame Puddifoot's before.
Looking round it now, Gold was surprised by the lack of people, inside. She had heard that Madame Puddifoot's got a fair share of couples. But, right now, there did not seem many inside. Maybe the reports were an exaggeration? Shrugging, she turned to Chris, only to hear him speak, and chuckle. "Fire and ice. I like that." She looked up at him, through bright green eyes, watching him grin. CUUTE.
"Your grin is way too cute, Chris," she chuckled, moving closer to him without realizing it. "We can sit down, or run about, or jump out of the window and bring scoops of snow inside. Whatever you like." She looked up at him, expectantly. Now, what did he want to do?

Snow is love.
Love.
Ok this is where it was going to happen right? Their first kiss?! Chris was both excited and nervous at the same time. What if she didn't want to kiss him? He wanted to kiss her. What if on the off chance his breath still smelled like garlic? He would have to curse Vinidicus if that happened. What if one of the stupid doilies hanging on the ceiling fell on them as they were about to kiss and ruined the entire thing?!
All the time Gold had been talking about all the things they could do and possibly what she wanted to do, Chris had been preoccupied with the what-ifs about there first kiss and had missed the ENTIRITY of what she had just said. All he heard was he was cute. He. Wasn't. Vain though.
o.O
"Ummm....what did you want to eat again?" he asked as if he had heard what she said. 'Gosh what an idiot!' he shouted at himself in his head. "Well I will be right back ok?" he said walking towards the counter before he could do anything else stupid. He bought to scones and hot chocolates, laid the money on the counter and then headed back to the table.

Oh. Chris was going to get some food. Gold didn't want him to go away, because then she would be alone. Not that she was any less awesome when she was alone but, you know, she liked company. Because then she could talk, and maybe be crazy.
No one ever told her not to be that.
She eyed him, when he came back. "You left me," she said, crossing her arms against her chest to look at him. Her eyes flickered, to look at what he had bought. Hot chocolate. Typical, but amazing. But there can be no doubt that chocolate is truly, truly divine.

"Nice choice."
Hehe.
Walking back to the table Chris randomlly realized that his dark blue sweater clashed so badly with the pink and white frillyness that was Puddifoot's causing him to stand out like a sore thumb. Only made worse by the fact that the Gryffindor couple were pretty much the only ones in here.
But the walk back to the table had calmed the Head Boy down to where he could function correctly again and listen! Chris's eyebrows came together slightly when she mentioned him leaving her. "Well I just wanted to get us some food while you had the chance to warm up over here away from the door." he said as staring at the now pouty, yet still unbelievably cute girl in front of him.
"Ah well you're welcome." he said sitting the hot chocolate on the table in front of her, with the slightest of winks. And then he took his chair across from here. 'My these tables are small' Chris thought as he sat in the tiny chair that, even though a whole table was bewteen them, the couples' faces were about a foot apart.
After taking a sip of his drink, he put the mug down and reached his hand across the table and touched Gold's. It was warm and nice as always; Chris could even smell her perfume today, it was like flowers and rain. It was nice. "Gold how do you do it? In weather like this and all the times I see you, you seem to stay just the same or even get more beautiful?" it was kind of a gooey thing for Chris to say but she had just come over him very strongly just now.

Oh, that was thoughtful. Even though Gold didn't actually want to warm up; because, you know, she liked the cold. Snow. It was pretty, and winter was definitely her favourite weather.
That, and rain.
She gave Chris a tiny smile, as she picked up her mug of hot chocolate. The liquid was amazingly warm; and Gold, when she took the first sip, had to admit to herself that the cold, cold weather made the drink all the more enjoyable. Not to mention, Chris was nice company. Helping herself to another sip, she placed the mug down on the table, to look across it - the table, not the mug, of course - at Chris.
His words made the corners of her lips turn up, into a smile of humour. Was she actually supposed to answer that? "I like snow," Gold said. "It's fun." Well, that wasn't actual an answer, but the point was, this kind of weather was not actually a problem. She looked up at him again. "You know beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, right?"
Cody glanced around the room as he entered. Was he a little weirded out by such a lovey dovey place? Yes. But, all the other couples were going, so by golly, Delody could make an appearance as well. Considering, they were the most amazing hogwarts couple since...well, forever.
Sitting down at a table near the back, Cody opened his menu. There must be something yummy in here food wise...right?

Uh oh.
Delanie Chanel was running late - that was something she never did, especially when meeting Cody. She let out a sigh when she entered the room, her eyes scanning for cody. When they landed on him, she smiled, heading towards her love.

"Hey handsome."
Cody smiled hearing his signature nickname from Dee, before standing to give her a quick hug. "'Ello love!" And before he could continue, he had to gloat a wee bit.
"I'd like to take a moment, so that we can record this moment in history. I, Cody James Russell, was on time. And Delanie Luxe Chanel, was the one late for once." It was a monumental moment for Cody. He was always late.

Delanie smiled, returning his hug. But then she snickered at Cody's statement as she took her seat. "It's about time you beat me on being punctual." Because that had never happened before and surely would never happen again. "I should reward you or something."

Cody smirked, "I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty proud of myself right now." Hearing reward, Cody leaned back in his seat, putting on an innocent expression, "Well, you could always NOT name our kids after the Jackson's." That would be the reward above all rewards.

Delanie's snicker turned into a laugh. Cody was so amusing, even when he wasn't trying. "I'm sure you are." But then his next few words made her gasp. "The Jacksons are part of the most talented family to have ever lived! We should name our sons after them!" Duh.
