Of course, Heather liked milk, if it meant that drinking many would make her grow tall some day. "thanks...I'll go get myself another one when i run out.." she told Jonathan, as she smiled. She hadn't noticed at first that she still had milk on her lips, but she realized this quick and wiped herself with a napkin...now...in the midst of her hurry to wipe herself with a napkin, her beret fell off her lap so she had to crawl under the table to get it.

Heather was looking around for her hat when Kurumi bent down to look at her. "Oh...i was just..looking for my beret..it fell from my lap..and..oh, here it is..." she said, reaching for the beret that was underneath her chair. She then went to stand, but she hit the table-lightly so that the food on top of the table didn't jump out, but Heather still felt a slight sting as she stumbled a bit. "ow..." she groaned and then crawled out of the table and sat on her chair, still a little frustrated.

she had to admit, that was embarrassing.

"My whole story huh?" he said while his brow slightly raised. He smiled for a bit. "probably i'm just average" he chuckled. Looking at Kurumi, teasing her as well.

They're JUST friends? the way Connor describes her doesn't feel like they're friends at all. Oh well, at least he didn't assume anything about the two of them but he was pretty much dying to know whether they were--- you know.

He turned his head back to Kurumi again. Connor did say A LOT of stuffs that's why Jonathan felt there was something going on between the two may it be mutual or not. "I'm not allowed to say that now really." he teased her. "Let's just say, we talked about you" he chuckled softly to himself.

Yeah probably being sorted in a house brings out the real color you have. She may not be as brave as she says but time can only tell. She might be tougher than she looks like...

Jonathan... cunning? or ambitious? Probably both but then again his parents are just expecting too much of him. He leaned towards to Kurumi "Or maybe, i was sorted to the Slytherin because i'm good looking" he laughed.

"I'm joking..." he added. He didn't want to sound cocky (although he already did) in front of Kurumi and Heather.

"Average?" she repeated raising an eyebrow. By whose standards? Kurumi grew up non-magical, so her concept of average was significantly lower than the normal witch or wizard. "How about we start with where you are from?" she laughed. "I'm from Japan. A small town in the northern part to be exact. My father is a pureblood from Great Britain and my mother is a non-magical from Japan."

The knot in Kurumi's stomach tightened as the conversation turned back to Connor. That boy...talked about her too much. Perhaps his conversation with Jonathan had been before she had given him THE talk about giving her space. She sure hoped it had been. She raised an eyebrow again when he said that he couldn't tell her what had been discussed and the knot in her stomach tightened even more. "I see," she said calmly popping another spoonful of her dessert in her mouth. "Well, we ARE just friends." And I made THAT very clear to him.

"Well, historically that hasn't always been the case for Slytherin house," she laughed playing along with Jonathan's sense of humor.


Jimmy Cricket! Heather had struck the table rather hard, at least, Kurumi thought she had. She did have the tendency to overreact in these situations. "Are you alright?!" she squeaked as she watched Heather return to her seat. Who knew that a hat could be such a dangerous thing. "D-Do you want me to get you some ice?"

Heather shook her head no as she tried to put on a smile. The sting from her bump was a bit disappearing now, since she didn't quite hit the table so hard to cause her to pass out. "I-I'm all right Kurumi...s-so-sorry about that.." she sighed. "uhm...what were we talking about?" Now did she get amnesia?

"Average." he paused. What was average to him anyway? Jonathan lived his life as an only child. His parents expecting him to be good at almost everything. His parents giving everything he ever wants. Spoiling him from head to toe-- but Jonathan never liked that life. His father has always been strict about him and his studies, dating was not a question though. His father permits him that rest assured he knows who she is, which is quite scary to say the least. His mother spoiling him like there is no tomorrow. Always by his side. It's annoying sometimes. Jonathan is a growing boy--- needs some PERSONAL SPACE.

"So you live in Japan..." he nodded his head. "I was born and raised in London." he replied "Both my parents are pureblood Asians though" his father being the Slytherin and her mother being--- hmm... what was her mother's house anyway? "My mother has a Japanese friend. I call them family, i refer to her children's as cousins" true, he did mention them to Heather that he had Japanese cousins "i'm Korean, by the way" oppsss... He never really specified that one.

Connor... Connor... Connor... "Do you like someone else perhaps?" Jonathan asked. Kurumi is so sure about them being friends but the way Connor treats Kurumi it's more than just friends. So the question is--- who does she like? Well, there is no reason for her to dump Connor since he is such a nice man to begin with. Was Kurumi afraid of a relationship? "If you mind me asking though" he added. He didn't want make things serious. If Kurumi wants to tell him or not, it is up to her.

Cunning, ambitious and handsome it's a perfect trait for the Slytherins. "Why do you think so?" he said to her "I hear Salazar Slytherin is good looking and a genius" bragging about their founder. Well who knows. Jonathan loves teasing. This conversation might get a little bit interesting.

Jonathan took Heather's arm. "Really you shouldn't be doing that." he told her. His worried of her of course. "Try the accio spell" he advised. Well they are wizards and witches.

Kurumi laughed and rolled her eyes playfully at Heather. "You were drinking your milk I believe," she said pointing to the girl's glass that was now half full. Or was it half empty?

Kurumi couldn't help be feel like Jonathan was keeping something back. She didn't really was to press the issue though - especially since it made him look a little uncomfortable. Kurumi understood all about being uncomfortable talking about one's family.

"So, you grew up around magic then?" she asked as she nibbled some more. The custard was a little hotter than she expected, and ended up needing to blow on it a few times before she could pop it into her mouth. "I'm jealous. My first exposure to magic was shopping in Diagon Alley before my first term at Hogwarts." And some older Slytherin had given her a chocolate frog. Traumatized her for the rest of the year. She had assumed that all chocolate jumped around in the wizarding world. Almost put her off chocolate chip cookies.

"L-L-Like?!" she squeaked nearly choking on her crumble. Her cheeks burned and she reached for her chest, searching for something that she had taken off only days earlier. That's right, she had hidden it in the broom cupboard. Her thoughts flew to Adam for a moment, but the vision of him had become blurry recently since she had written him one final letter. She then thought of Treyen and his smile that always made her weak in the knees. But...she had heard that he was currently seeing someone else. She should expect such things though, seeing as he was a 5th year and her just a 3rd year. Connor was...someone who still confused her. She wasn't sure WHAT to feel about him. "Jonathan...I...my first friend...he....left Hogwarts at the end of last term. We...we were together..." she still couldn't bring herself to say the word boyfriend. "But that's over now. I-I may never see him again." She frowned and played with her spoon for a moment. "I am not sure what you have heard, but I am not interested in anyone THAT way. Not now." Right now, her priorities were in a different place.

She found herself raising an eyebrow at him again. "Salazar Slytherin...handsome?" she laughed. "I suppose if you are into the pale and super thin look then he would be considered such."

With Jonathan reminding her about the accio spell, Heather felt silly for not having remembered it. But she still hadn't gotten the hang of that spell; maybe she has, maybe she hasn't. The last time she used it, the book she was trying to get slammed itself on the wall behind her; if she hadn't ducked it would probably end hitting her face. "T-thanks...sorry about that..." she sighed. It seems she'll have to keep practicing that spell when they get back at the castle, and with something soft like a pillow instead of a book.

OH. RIGHT. Her milk. was it half full or half empty? She smiled at Kurumi and took the glass then drank it until it was empty. "Eh...it's now empty." she said. "i suppose i should order another one."

"pretty much" he said answering to the magic part. He grew up being and always dependent on magic. It's a lifestyle he has always loved. He doesn't know much about the muggle world though. His parents never really talked about them but his parents never insulted them too. It was more of a give and take relationship with them. They may be strict but they love equality amongst the people in the Wizarding World.

Jealous? Jonathan is the one jealous of her. Jonathan has been quite curious what it is like to like a muggle. It fascinates him a lot. "I want to know more about muggles" he shared to her. "You shouldn't be jealous though" he told her "Being magical has its disadvantages as well" although he doesn't know what it was since he has no experience or whatsoever in the muggle world.

See! He knew it! She liked someone else but Jonathan has no intention in telling Connor about this one. It's not his side to tell. Kurumi liked her friend. Sounds familiar as well. "Join the club" he told her. His face rather serious, thinking about her made him annoyed. What's wrong with him!!!

BACK TO REALITY!!! He shook his head and smiled to Kurumi "He left you?" he gave her a comforting smile. That's really sad. Jonathan didn't want to further interrogate her because Kurumi looked like she's going to cry if this conversation goes on longer. "Well, you deserve someone better then" he said. He doesn't know if that was encouraging or not. he doesn't know what else to say.

WHAT?! How could she not notice that Salazar is good-looking??? He smiled at her "Well not all Slytherins are pale faces" pfsssshhh... defensive much? Now that he thought about it, yeah, most Slytherins are pale faces. Why is that?


Jonathan fumbled her hair. Silly girl. He smiled. He always liked a little sister. Heather always had that sister charm.

"Order anything you like" he said to her. "i'll treat you both for today" she said glancing at the two Gryffindors.

"Don't worry about it Heather," Kurumi laughed noticing her friend's flustered expression. "We can practice casting Accio on pillows in the dormitory." Nothing all that serious could go wrong with pillows, right?

"I...I think I'd like a glass of milk as well," Kurumi blushed reaching for her coin purse despite his offer to pay.


"So does being raised non-magical," Kurumi frowned slightly. Namely in not knowing who you really were and thinking you were some sort of freak of nature for the first eleven years of your life. "I-I suppose I could help you learn about the non-magical world, if you want," she offered shyly. She could at least try to explain things. Explaining movies to some of her pureblood friends had proven to be a rather difficult task however.

Kurumi's eyes widened a bit. There was a club? Kurumi wasn't sure if it was a club that people ought to want to be a part of. "Jonathan...do you mean there is someone that you like?" she asked innocently stopping when her spoon touched her lips. Ug...this conversation was turning rather serious. Kurumi stuffed her spoon in her mouth. "He...He didn't really have a choice," she said frowning a bit more. "His parents forced him to move to Mexico. He couldn't very well leave them at age fourteen..."

Her smiled flickered to a smile for a brief moment at Jonathan's next comment. "T-Thank you," she said blushing a bit and tugging on her hair. "I need to time to get my feet replanted and figure out things about myself before I start worrying about boys again." She giggled softly. Although, it seemed like boys were already interested her...and she didn't know how to handle that.

"And not all Gryffindors have bushy hair," she laughed. It had been a common misconception after all.

Jonathan held Kurumi's arm when she reached for her coin purse "I'll pay" he insisted to her. "2 glasses of milk please." he called out the order.

"practicing accio spells is not that hard" indeed. Jonathan learned the spell at a very young age. "You'll get it right in no time" he said patting Heather's head lightly. Encouraging her.

Muggle. What is it like to be one, Jonathan has always asked that question. he clearly couldn't ask his parents about that since they don't know much about them. Jonathan beamed when Kurumi offered to help him with the muggle stuffs "really?" he said excitingly. He is quite excited to learn about them. What they are like. What they do. Really. Although, Jonathan barely knows where Kurumi stays all the time. So it might just take him for awhile to see her often.

Love stories, a common interests between well--- almost every person. "Yeah, kinda..." he looked down and played with his thumbs. Jonathan felt a bit weird talking about the person he likes. He doesn't know how to express much of his feelings especially to someone he likes. "She's also a friend" he smiled... a best friend in that case.

Talking about Kurumi's past boyfriend seemed to be a little heavy for everyone as well. Jonathan doesn't know him but he understands the situation. "If you guys really like each other then" he said "it will happen. For now maybe it's just some kind of trial between the two of you." he continued.

"not to mention red heads" opps.. Did he just say that out loud? Red heads. It is also a common stereotype amongst the Gryffindors. Isn't it funny how sometimes appearance can change everything.

He fumbled with her hair and Heather did not mind one bit;in fact, she was laughing softly as he did so. Such a gesture always made her feel fuzzy, but then again, it made her feel like a 5-year old girl, having her hair turn into a general mess, considering her hair was wavy-curly. But, she did not mind with people like Jonathan...or Connor...or Rex...or Dani...or Kurumi...or any of her friends. It was some sort of endearment to her between friends.

Heather nodded as Kurumi offered to practice the spell with her in the dormitories. She always knew how to brighten p Heather's distresses. Heck, she knew instantly if Heather was distressed or what Heather's distresses are about and almost immediately has a solution to it. "thanks so much Kurumi." she told her friend.

then he offered to pay for anything she wants and Heather puffed her cheeks. She just wanted milk, and she could pay for it; Jonathan didn't need to bother treating her, but she just couldn't say no to a sincere offer. she nodded her head. "Okay...but i just want milk." she told him with a smile.

Kurumi's cheeks burned a brighter shade of pink when he gently grabbed her arm. She...hadn't been expecting that and she was pretty sure that her hair had flashed a burnt orange for a brief moment in her surprise. The color change didn't linger though, and it was back to its usual ebony before it registered in anyone's head that it had happened. Easily passed off as a trick of the light.

"Thank you," she chirped and returned her coin purse to her bag. She would have to make it up to him somehow later. Perhaps in cookies.

"Of course!" she laughed when their conversation returned to non-magical things. "Anything you want to know." Although, Kurumi could hardly be considered an expert herself. Professor Zookara was better at explaining concepts to witches and wizards than she was.

"Adam and I were best friends before we started...dating," she said as a weak smile tickled the corners of her lips. "He was my first friend...and my first relationship. I...I realized that for the past 6 months I had been holding on to an image, an ideal, and not him..." She began poking her dessert with her spoon. "It was time to let go..." She looked down for a moment, swallowed, and then looked back at Jonathan. "We both know we may never see each other again...in fact, he said so himself he doubted we ever would."

It seemed liked such heavy conversation for her to have had when she was only twelve years old. She had just turned thirteen when Adam had decided to end the relationship, which she now realized was for the best...of both of them. They needed time to grow and discover themselves.

"I do know a red head though," Kurumi chirped, glad for a distraction from their conversation. "She is a second year and convinced me to try out for the Quidditch team..."

Ug... Quidditch...

"...and then I ended up making it..."

Was she breaking out into hives? She sure hoped not.

Jonathan thought he saw a spark on Kurumi's hari but maybe it was just the light in the cafe. He then realize that his hand was still in Kurumi's arm, he smiled and let go. "Sorry" she might got hurt from the grip. Kurumi's arm felt soft and smooth. Baby skin. "like i said, it's on me today" he said smiling at the both of them. He liked treating people. It's a way he can show how much thankful he is of them.

Jonathan finished his sausage roll and sipped the pumpkin juice. That was indeed delicious. "That's awesome" Jonathan beamed. Studying about stuffs in the muggle world is definitely a great topic for studying. Why can't he study like that during these times. Exams will be going on for pete sake. He hasn't opened one book. He's just excited about the upcoming winter break. "I always listen to Professor when he teaches about muggle studies" indeed he does. Even takes notes. Although, he doesn't raise his hand much since he completely can not answer most of the professor's question.

*Serious face* So his name is Adam. Jonathan doesn't know if he have met this guy before though or probably he doesn't go out often that the only people he knew were Slytherins. "Is he a Gryffindor like you?" he just had to ask. Curious about that part.

First friend, first lover. Whoah! That's hard to forget. "Don't worry Kurumi. You'll find someone better... eventually" what can he do to make her feel better. This conversation clearly makes it heavy for everyone in the table. Talking about broken relationships and loving a friend is just heart breaking. Jonathan can feel her pain. He's scared like her.

Yeah, she heard it. Great going Jonathan. But she looked like she didn't feel offended about it so that's a relief. "Sorry about that" he said tilting his head from side to side.

AHA! here comes their milk! Heather took lots of bites from her shortcake and great gulps of milk-ah, the girl was too absorbed with the deliciousness of the cake and the milk to even pay attention to the serious talk Kurumi and Jonathan were having...but she did pick up their talk about muggle stuff.

Kurumi and Heather were half muggles. Suppose she could also offer to help Jonathan? after all, he did pay for the milk to which she just heartily drank.

"I'm dumb! I don't even know anything zo no, I'm NOT. Well...if you zay zat I am zen I really should try to not be zo dumb and know at least something and zen I'll be able to know more and more until I finally and eventually reach zis zo called everything. Right?" Chandler wasn't even sure about what he was even talking about anymore. He was just as confused as she would be. He didn't even understand how he could know what she was doing with her eyes under her hand. It wasn't like the boy had x-ray vision. "No you can't, doofus!" HMPF. He was totally glaring at her, not that she could see that but yeah, he was. ANDD he was glaring at her eyebrow. YES HE WAS.

HMPPPPPFFFF. Chandler let go of her and sometime after he sat down beside her looking at Madame Puddifoot's. Heck, they were just RIGHT out side and they weren't even touching the door yet. He WISHED they were. -__- Actually, he just wished that they were in the building. "Fine, we can just..stay out 'ere." He pouted as much as he could and turned his head to look at her. He KNEW she'd give in soon.

Kurumi blushed a bit more when he removed his hand from her arm. she had almost forgotten that it had still been there. "I-It's fine," she nodded. She felt a little bad that he was paying for both her and Heather. She would have to make it up to him somehow.

Smiling as her milk was delivered to the table, she smiled in thanks at Jonathan.

"He was," she said calmly taking a sip from her glass of milk. "Now...I don't know what he is up to. He hardly ever writes." She shrugged her shoulders. "It's not all bad though...I...I finally realized that I don't need to be dependent on someone else." And she felt like a weight had been lifted from shoulders. "Strange how we like to torture ourselves over it, isn't it?"

She giggled at the boy's encouragement. "I suppose I will, when the time is right," she nodded sipping on her milk some more. She glanced at Heather and gave the girl a quick wink. "When I do, I hope that it is with someone who doesn't let distance get in the way, right Heather?" She playfully nudged Heather in the side.

"Nothing to be sorry about," she laughed.

Heather was in the midst of drinking her milk when Kurumi nudged her and said something about someone who won't let distance get in the way. She was a bit confused at first, but then, she managed to realize what Kurumi was talking about. Who else wouldn't it be, she smiled.

"Right." she chirped; she supported the idea of Kurumi meeting someone with the specifications her friend mentioned earlier.

and such made Heather remember about Ed. That boy hadn't been writing back when he promised-it seems Sythe will have to prepare in flying back and forth to Dumstrang this holiday season until Ed writes back. Time to flood him with angry letters; to think that she bothered to send him the nicest photo she had and he didn't write back after that.

Heather went silent for awhile, trying to forget about Ed for a bit since the thought of him not writing back actually irritated her, when she remembered something else. "Uhm..Jonathan..uh..how's Jeanne?" the girl he was with in the train, she meant. She hadn't seen her around.

Ahh the 2 glasses of milk has arrived. The two took their order while Jonathan paid for the drinks. "Don't worry" he said to the two. It's normal for Jonathan to pay for meals. He likes treating his friends, hence, he considers them both as friends already. Jonathan again flipped his bangs to the side. Ugh. It's disturbing him as ever. He should have listened to her mother about getting that cut off but he was a little bit afraid that they would cut that area all off.

O___O Which is worse!!!

So Adam never writes to her? What kind of relationship is that. Certainly, Kurumi specified that they were both friends in the first place. A little HELLO wouldn't hurt now? Perhaps Adam has moved on already with his life, no? "That's not very ideal" he said opposing to the fact that he never writes to her. "Aren't you a little bit mad at that?" asking her. Why, if it was Jonathan, he would be mad. But how would he know? He's not even good in being in a relationship, let alone giving someone else an advice about it.

He patted Kurumi's little head and her hair bounced as he did. Jonathan smiled at her "Yeah you should be" he said "Being dependent isn't why you were sorted in the Gryffindor" true. Gryffindors are known to brave. Kurumi should trust in herself more. Be a little bit confident.

Torture, YES, that IS the EXACT word for what they are both experiencing. "Torture" he murmured "If only there is a cure for that" amused about what he just said he gave a soft laugh.

Jonathan turned to Heather this time. "How about you Heather?" he asked "Do you like anyone in specific?" he continued. Seems as Kurumi and Jonathan were talking the most, Jonathan let Heather join in.

So who does Heather like at Hogwarts?


GULP. Jonathan got silent for a while when Heather mentioned Jeanne's name.

"Y-you know h-her?" he asked, stuttering about it. Jonathan hasn't seen nor talk to him in awhile but they do see each other during classes. Jeanne is more of the intellectual type. Studies a lot and all that. Jonathan misses her though. It's sad that they're not seeing each other just like old times because she's busy preparing for the exams and whatnot.

"Have you seen her around?" Jonathan asked once more. Desperate, i guess you could say that. He has been looking around for her often but doesn't get a single chance to. Maybe this winter break, he might get to spend time with her again.

Kurumi giggled at Heather, but noticed the slight frown that appeared on her lips. She would have to talk to her again later in the girls' dormitory and figure out what was bothering her. Could it be possible that Ed hadn't been writing to Heather?

"I'm furious to be honest," Kurumi said biting her lower lip as her hands formed tight fists. If she kept that up, chances were that she would draw blood. She took a deep breath and stopped chewing on her lip. "But...sometimes we realize that when someone leaves us...that the despair we feel is not really our own, but theirs." She paused and looked at Jonathan as a weak smile appeared on her lips. "It's theirs, because they left the only person who wouldn't give up on them." She stuffed her slightly pouting mouth with her apple crumble. She reached over and put one of her delicate hands on his. "Thank you for your concern, but I really am alright. Now I am anyway."

Kurumi then turned her attention to Heather. "Jeanne...I think I met her in the bookstore over the summer," Kurumi mused as she chewed. Suddenly her eyes widened. "Is that the girl you like!?" she squeaked nearly flipping her plate over in the process.

Drinking her milk, Heather almost choked when Jonathan asked if she liked anyone. After 5 seconds of trying not to cough, she thought of an answer to the question he imposed. WOW. a simple question like that sure is difficult to answer.

Of course, she liked someone-she liked everyone, but Jonathan's question pertains to liking someone as more than just 'like'. And deep down, no matter how many times Heather denied this, she knew she liked Edward, and Edward, like her friend, Adam, was no longer in Hogwarts; he was back in Dumstrang.

But how to answer Jonathan's question?? She can't lie-she's bad at lying and lying is bad! She can't even deny that! Oh, all this thinking made her dizzy...and-WERE HER CHEEKS RED?

"uhm...i..." she took a deep breath and looked at Kurumi. Seeing Kurumi always calmed her down. "I..I do." Holy Heavens, did Heather just admit that OUT LOUD?




She was taken back by what Jonathan meant by that. Doesn't he remember that it was him who introduced Jeanne to Heather at the train? "Y-yeah..." she tilted her head a bit while raising a curious eyebrow. "D-Didn't you introduce her to me at the train? Y-you let me stay at the compartment you shared with her." she explained, perhaps Jonathan had forgotten about that, After all it had been awhile since they last saw each other again after that train ride going to Hogwarts. "No, I haven't seen her around much..." she sighed sadly at that thought.

Oh, and Kurumi met Jeanne? Perhaps she's seen her around then? "Oh you've met her? Have you seen her around then, Kurumi?" she asked of her friend.

Whoah! Whoah! Whoah! Kurumi looked like she was going to beat someone with a stick. Of course she would be annoyed over that. It's really heartbreaking to wait for someone and knowing they might not return. "D-don't get mad about it" he said while he patted her hands rolled into furious fists. In fact Jonathan felt scared over that. She might go do some taekwondo or karate on them. hehe.

Jonathan nodded when Kurumi said those sad words. "I guess so." If only people wouldn't act so numb when it comes to feelings. "besides" he smiled at her and this time he had that cute smile on his face "There ARE so many guys at Hogwarts" he chuckled. Kurumi should start fishing for one but the pain heals slower than anyone could expect. So hopefully, she finds her knight-in-shining-armor soon.

SECOND GULP. She knows her too??? Jeanne did mention to him about meeting a bunch of Hogwarts students during this summer but he wouldn't think it would be Kurumi... SMALL WORLD.

Jonathan tilt his head when Kurumi asked if Jeanne is he girl she liked. BUSTED!!! What else would he do? LIE??? It's written all over his face now, isn't it? "You could say that" he said instead of answering a 'yes'. Jonathan felt shy about that.



AHA! So there is SOMEONE after all. "Is he from Hogwarts?" he had his devious, teasing face on. Who could it be? Who could this person be? "You can tell me anything, i would never tell a soul" he promised.

Jeanne... on the train to Hogwarts... hmm... "yeah I remember now" he said beaming at Heather. he remembers offering her a seat at the compartment. He and Jeanne were together on that compartment. Jonathan reminisced that day. Missing ever inch of that bitter-sweet memory. If only it could happen again. Jeanne went away for two years and came back. Jonathan thought that he would see her more often since she's back at Hogwarts but his expectations failed him.

Bummer... she hasn't seen her. "Last time i talked to her was at the courtyard" Jonathan shared "Well after that i never spoke to her again" he said twirling his bangs, playing with it like a 12 year old boy.

Kurumi shook her head. "I haven't seen her since Diagon Alley." And that was nearly seven months ago. Kurumi didn't know the Ravenclaw very well, but she had been very kind to Kurumi when they had spoken. She laughed softly when she saw Jonathan get a bit flustered and his almond eyes had a twinkle in them.

She was now to the bottom of her apple crumble and her spoon clanked against the plate. Her eyes flicked towards the rock cake that was still sitting on her plate and she wasn't sure whether or not she wanted to eat it. It didn't look all that appetizing to be totally honest.

Pushing her plate forward, and ignoring the cake, she leaned her elbows on the table. "I suppose there are," she laughed. "I'm fine just being me for now. No boys attached...unless they are friends."

Hmmmphh... Kurumi hasn't seen her as well. If there is one thing Jeanne is good at, it's hiding or disappearing. It's as if she has one of those time turners. "She's quite busy nowadays" yeah especially because exams are getting near. She's probably studying in the Ravenclaws' dorm room like crazy... or you know, doing something else productive. Like answering homeworks and that lame project Lord Borr has given them.

Speaking of which "have you finished that DADA project?" Jonathan said while rolling his eyes. He hated that assignment for good. DADA was something he would like to excel in but Lord Borr he is just---- "We're not really learning how to defend ourselves now, do we?" he asked Kurumi.

Jonathan laughed when Kurumi agreed to him about the number of boys at Hogwarts. Then he nod at her. "Yeah you should" pushing her arm lightly this time. Teasing her that she shouldn't be in too much of a hurry in having a relationship. "Time will only tell" indeed it will.

Kurumi groaned when Jonathan mentioned their Defense Against the Dark Arts assignment. "I've done most of each part the assignment once," she nodded. Ballroom had been by far the most awkward part of the whole thing. However, it had allowed her to get a little bit closer to Josh...although, he had seemed very off focused when he had taught her how to dance. Then there was that scar...she wanted to ask him about it...but somehow knew it wasn't her place to do so. "I actually found a bottle at the bottom of the lake while I was swimming," she giggled feeling it in her pocket. "It won't open though."

She straightened her posture a bit more. "There has to be some reason for us doing all this," she sighed leaning her head on her hand. "My brother who played American football had to take ballet lessons to teach them balance and to be more fluid in their movements." There was a slight connection in this situation, right?

Viola entered Madame Pudifoots, looking forward to just relax for a while. She had a long week and all she wanted to do was to have a hot cup of coffee.

She walked up to the counter and ordered a coffee. She paid two sickles for the drink and sat down in an empty chair nearby. She took a sip and closed her eyes. Lovely!
