Jade looked at Adam with an innocent look, in his eyes. "Really Adam?" she said teasing him. "Ok then, fine sorry," she said. "Happy?" she replied with a friendly smile.

He smiled back while saying, "Of course I am...So what's happened to your boyfriend? He's left Hogwarts or is he just on vacation and you DEEPLY miss him? Because you are deeply madly in love with him, and a day without him is a day wasted..."Adam teased her in a dramatic , acting voice.

Jade smiled back at Adam. "Actually he's starting Hogwarts as a second year, I'm best friends with his half-sister but she had to leave Hogwarts," she said as she sighed. "He's just preparing his things, for when school starts. I have to admit I do miss him.... a lot," she replied. "How can you tell that I am deeply madly in love with him if you've never met him and you've never seen us together?" she asked Adam curiously.

Following up with Jade's question, Adam answered after a long and quiet wait.
Rubbing his chin, he said,"Because you deeply miss him. You mentioned him right off the bat, and even said you feel like you shouldn't be here without him, considering it is the couple resturant- tea shop...And you told me a little about him, so maybe you want me to meet him once term starts?"Adam answered with a shrug.

Jade waited for Adam's answer. Then after a long wait he finally answered her. "Well you mentioned your girlfriend as well," she said to Adam smiling. "Yeah you can meet him! Maybe he'll be a Gryffindor and you can talk to him in the Common Room," Jade replied hoping that he would be in Hufflepuff but she knew Cody would be a Gryffindor like his half-sister Ginny.

It was cold, and it was November. It was November and it was cold. The two went hand in hand, side by side, step in step. And of course it came with stamping the snow off one's shoes and shivering a little behind scarf and jacket. Then again, it wouldn't exactly be winter if it wasn't. All the better to enjoy a nice cup of tea.

Pushing the door open to the teashop, Sabel stepped aside to let Arya through first, unable but to help tilt his chin up a little and sniff at the air. His eyes closed and a soft groan went through his lips. "Do you know what I smell? Apple crumble. Merlin's shiny shoes that smells good."

They really should have a bus or something taking them to Hogsmeade, maybe let them ride the winged horses down on a carriage, anything to keep from being in the cold. She was used to the cold Scottish weather, but it still bothered her to some extent, spring and summer were her months. She didn't complain on their walk from the castle though, too occupied with discussing other things with her friend.

Stepping through the door when Sabel opened it, she sent him a grin at his comment, head turning back as she took of her earmuffs and beanie. "Would you prefer standing in the door and sniffing the foods or do you wanna eat them?" She was joking of course, but either one didn't bother her so long as the door got shut.

Chuckling, Sabel slipped in close behind Arya and closed the door behind them, cutting off the frigid air that insisted on invading the warmth of the building. "Well I wasn't very well going to close it on you."

Reaching up, he helped her remove her headgear and stored them in his pockets before reaching down to take her hand and head towards what appeared to be a table caught underneath warm air. Once they reached the destination, he stepped behind her to help her with her coat. "We can eat, we can drink and be merry. Whatever you would like, go for it. I'm paying and I won't have any argument about it."

"And I thank you for that." She continued to grin at him as he helped her to remove her headgear and put them in his pockets. There was no need to tell him to be careful with the beanie and earmuffs because she knew that he knew how important they both were to her.

Taking his hand, she let him lead her towards, eyes drifting around the shop until they'd stopped at a table. Shrugging off her coat, and letting him take it, mildly surprised by his actions. It was so Sabel of him, but at the same time something was different about how he was acting today that had her smiling. "You don't have to do all of this you know...taking my jacket and opening the door." She DID like it though, it was SO sweet of him. Maybe that's what different about this outing of theirs. "It is very much appreciated though."

Picking up a menu, she considered his words as she scanned the lists of foods. "Fiiine, you can pay. But only if you don't complain about how I consume my foods." She peeked over at him from the top of the menu. "Kellen bought me fries and a shake once, and made faces at my dipping my fries into my shake." Weird kid that Stern.

Smiling at Arya as he hooked her coat up on a rack close by, he gave a one shouldered shrug, nearly darting forward just to pull her chair back for her so she could sit down. "It's just being polite." His father had repeatedly told him there weren't many gentlemen left in the world, and it was important to retain such fading gestures of respect.

Once she was seated, he removed his own jacket, unable to help but laugh at her comment about Kellen, fries and milkshakes. "Stern is a weird boy in general. Don't worry, I won't comment on your eating habits." Taking a seat across from her, he gave her a warm smile before picking up his menu and scanning the list of drinks. "Did you want to order a pot of tea for the both of us, or were you thinking of something different?"

And he was pulling her seat out, she was liking this trip more and more. A small part of his actions reminded her of the men in her family, such gentlemen they were, but only a small part. Only enough to have the memories of them flicker through her mind. It was Sabel that held her attention though. "Well I like it," she returned his smile. "Its nice."

Her eyes stayed on him while he removed his own jacket, laughing at his comment about Kellen. So she wasn't the only one to think him weird. She knew it! "Kellen is weird. Very weird." Arya wasn't going to go on about Kellen though, cause really, that could take all day. Her smile widened at his not commenting on her eating habits. Good. Going back to scanning the foods, she shook her head. "No, a pot of tea sounds good to me." Tea went better with pastries than coco did.

"I'll remember to do it more often then." Grinning, Sabel let his eyes drift over the tea listing, his fingers drumming off the table in thought. He really wasn't sure which was better than the last, they all sounded excellent. "There's...a white tea called Summer Rain, with cantaloupe melon slices and jasmine?"

Arya didn't drink tea that often, at least not daily, and not enough to know the different kinds of tea. There was so many types! How anyone ever chose which one to drink was beyond her. "Um...that sounds good? I've never had it, but it sounds good." She peeked at him over her menu. "Do you like that one?"

"To be honest..." He let his eyes skim over the page once again before folding it and resting it on the table in front of himself. "I've never had it before. White tea is usually quite nice, though it can be a little sweet at some times." A slight, worried expression scrunched up his nose. "I hope it doesn't interfere with the taste of whatever food we are ordering."

When he folded his menu, she folded hers as well, but instead of placing it on the table, she held it against her chest like she would a book. It was sweet? That was all she needed to hear. "I like sweet. And just about everything in here is sweet, so I don't think it will interfere." She had only been in the shop once before with Ivory, and she was almost positive everything in the shop was loaded with sugar.

Chuckling, Sabel rested back in his chair, folding his arms easily across his chest. "Well, if you have something that's sweeter than something else, the more sweet will make the less sweet seem even less sweet." Yes, somehow that made sense.

Arya grinned at his nonsense that somehow made sense, still holding her menu against her chest. "Then I guess we'll have to get tea that is as equally sweet as our food, even if its extremely sweet, else one of them will seem less sweet than the other, and we don't want that." Or did they?

At least he hadn't completely lost them in his words, and even more noteworthy was that she was giving them right back to him. "I believe your logic is undeniable Miss Lovegoods." Tilting his head, he peered at her with a grin. "Do you know what you are having for food stuffs?"

She hid her widening grin behind the menu in her arms, nose resting on the top. "There's no argument here, Mr. Dakest." Tapping her nails against the menu, and sucking her bottom lip in, she chewed on it thoughtfully as she returned his look, considering him for a brief moment. "I was thinking apple pie with ice cream. What will you be having."

She was unbelievably, adorably cute. There was no argument to that fact either.

Grinning, he nodded his head a little. "Apple crumble. Without ice cream." He gave a slight shiver. "I don't know how you can have ice cream in this weather. It's too cold."

Arya wrinkled her nose over the menu at his amendment. "Without ice cream? How can you can apple pie without ice cream? That's like having cake without the icing." Not good. Giggling, she wiggled her fingers at the door. "Its cold out there, Sabel. Not in here."

"And that's the point." His grin had only widened, a light chuckle leaving him. "It is warm in here, and it is cold out there. Hence I don't want ice cream because then it will be cold in here," he pointed to himself, [b]"as well as out there."[b] His expression clearly conveyed he did not approve of the concept and was getting cold just thinking about it.

Lowering her menu so that he could see her grin, she giggled at his logic. "But it won't be cold in here," she pointed at herself. "For long. Only as long as it takes to eat the ice cream, and it won't hold a candle to the cold that's out there." Okay, she had officially confused herself and paused in her speech, trying to remember where she was going with this. It was when she realized that she would never remember that she giggled again. "I forgot what my point was," She held up a finger. "But all I know is that we can't have apple pie without ice cream. We can eat something else though, if you want."

"Your point was, you are nuts." Sabel mused, unfolding his arms and clasping his hands together, resting them on the table. "I don't know what all this ice-cream in winter business, but it's bonkers." Shaking his head a little bit, he spared her a smile. "You can feel free to have ice cream with your apple pie. Mine shall remain untainted by that frosty covering."

"You would know, your nuttier than I am." Loosening her grip on the menu, she slid it back on the table, fiddling with the edge. "I don't know how you can limit yourself to ice cream only during the hot seasons. That is bonkers." She quipped back playfully. How he was able to go months without it, she didn't know. "I will, Sabel Dakest, and my pie will be loads better than yours." Truth.
