Maxwell said nothing but smiled as the two talked. 'Now you know how it feels to have some idiot ruin every moment with this girl you'd ever get.' He thought triumphantly.

Clutching a small box in her hands, one would assume that this was something to give to either Treyen or Arya, but that wasn't the case. Treyen had already received a gift from her and she had something else for Arya. This particular box was for someone else. Someone who insisted that she didn't need to do anything, but Kurumi felt like she should. More like she wanted to.

That...and she could just not accept the fact that she had failed at baking something.

It didn't take Kurumi long to find him, or for her cheeks to flush when her eyes met his while he was speaking with Treyen. She really didn't want to interrupt the two of them, seeing as these were some of their last moments together at Hogwarts and Kurumi knew all to well how precious those were, but when their conversation paused she decided to take advantage of it.

"Lewis," she squeaked, chewing on her bottom lip nervously for just a moment. "Can I...borrow you...for just a moment?"

Sophie looked straight into Nate's eyes as he spoke about his brother. "Yeah, but think of it this way: you didn't have anyone to help you out - not... blood-related, at least - and you did just fine!" She said smiling and nodding. "If he does get sorted into a different house, there will be plenty of people to help him out there!" Prefects existed for a reason, right?

"It was full of work!" Logan said with a laugh. He smiled. "Ah, summer break! No work whatsoever." he said with a dreamy sigh. He then giggled.

"Like visiting you...let me think." he said. After a long pause he grinned. "I would LOVE to visit you!" he said bouncing in his seat yet again. He just couldn't contain his excitement today. "I would visit you everyday! If I'm allowed to!" he said grinning.

"You did indeed! Good job." he said winking. Logan grinned. "I do know that." he said, winking at her. "I will owl you! I will owl you every minute of every day!" he said giggling.

Miss Puff Prefect was more aware of the Captain's movements more than she was of all the younger badgers surrounding them, or Treyen really. She was still a bit surprised by that, but... was it understandable that she was surprised by her own graduation? She was sure it wasn't. "This just doesn't feel like my last feast." She explained a bit more.

Not the way she thought it would feel at least.

Her eyes flicked up to the yellow banners again. This was more than just another feast, besides her graduating. They'd won all this stuff and Arya wasn't as nearly excited about it as her housemates were. But when was she ever about those things?

"Big summer plans." Stalled ones too. "You?"

She didn't miss the lack of words coming from Treyen either. It was somehow louder than everyone else in the great hall, deafening almost.

And what was worse was that she had nothing else to say to remove that silence, only partially because of everything filling her head currently. They weren't going to be like this for all of the night, were they? She worried her lip a bit more.

Laura hugged Anya back. "It was great, though you should have seen when I accidently pied a Professor it was awesome." Laura giggled before she decided to ask Anya what she had been doing. "How was your end of term? And do you want to come over to my house sometime in the summer?"

She was beginning to feel like she was being badgered by Harvey "I will make up my own mind Harvs. ENOUGH with the guilt trip." she moved her spoon on her fork and looked around the room. A hatred grew inside of her at that moment. "This is ridiculous if he is my boyfriend he should be here. Not hiding himself where ever he is."

Tay, Dam, Max:

Minerva heard familiar voices and looked up. It was the group she had been sitting with at the claw table. She couldn't help but laugh at their friendly awkwardness. She had been in a love triangle once without really knowing. She smiled at them "Hey guys are you following me?" she didn't know if they would take her joke "Just kidding, hey have you seen Calliandra come back yet?"

After hearing Sophie' approval, Messer took a seat beside her. Messer couldn't help to grin when he heard Sophie' answered about her first year. He was pretty sure that almost all the Hufflepuff first year had an amazing first year. "Mine? Mine was fantastic." he said with a loud grin. "And not to mention we won all of those shinny three cups." Really he couldn't asked for more better first year experienced.

"Yes we did." He remembered all those homework the Professor gave them. "But I just hope they'll loosen the homework a bit next term." Even though he was pretty sure that they won't do that. "So any big plans for summer?"

Yes. No kissing in public especially in front of him its just gross. Yuck! Messer never understand why grown up people like kissing. Didn't they know that they could be infected with cooties by kissing?

"Umm..Yes." Did he suppose to say something else? "I could give you a kiss." He made a kissing sound. "But you already got plenty of that from Ellie." Hehehe. And beside Messer didn't want to be infected by cooties. "Yes, me too." Its one of his many regrets too. Not spending more time with the Head Boy. Well, what's done is done.

"Mine was great. I had a really great time especially in DADA." Yes that was really fun. But then he remembered how mean Ella was with her wand. "I hope next year we could hang out more." Because this term they didn't get a chance to know each other outside the class an even though he didn't like girls that much but Ella is kinda fun. "Do you have any plans for summer?"

No. Not his hair. What's with Ellie and his hair? But then since its Ellie he just shrugged it off. "Its the best!" Yet. Learned how to use his wand for the first time, pillow fight with Alec, playing quidditch, winning all those cups. He couldn't asked for better first year experienced. But he didn't get a chance to play against Ellie this term. Maybe next year if he's lucky.

"How about you? How's your sixth year?" Was the older Ravenclaw had amazing year too like him? He hope so.

What's with the grin? Maybe he's just happy to see him. No? "I didn't know you'd be that happy to see me." Usually his fellow firstie greeted him with a scowled or even a pillow maybe today is his lucky day.

"No, I haven't." he shook his head. "Maybe she still packing her stuffs." Because girls always took more time then boys in that department. "Or maybe she's talking with another boy from his house." Who knows.

Damon smiled at her, "Thanks." He looked down so Taylor could see how angry he was getting with Max being there, You sit there and say you want me to tell her... Then when I'm about to, you have to show up and you won't leave us alone! Stupid son of a *****.

Ella smiled as Logan pretended to think about visiting her. It was payback, no doubt. She in turn leaned forward as he had, hanging on the long pause for his answer, eyebrows raised. "Great. It's a date-erm deal then." And then there was a slight blush and a wider smile.

The winking made Ella laugh as she listened to Logan talk. She had tricked him, how cool was that. Maybe she was getting better at that tricking thing. She'd have to show her uncle this summer! "Every minute of every day!" Ella repeated, laughing. "Whoa. That'll be hard to keep up with." Not to mention the owls would probably die of exhaustion!





"DADA was fun, wasn't it? Maybe we can partner again next term. That would be nice." Messer had been a good partner and he was a Hufflepuff, an obvious plus! The first year smiled when her classmate suggested they hang out more. "Sure. Alec actually suggested a giant pillow fight next term! You want in?" The more the merrier. Plus, a pillow war would be better with lots of people. As for summer plans. "I'll be spending time at home with my dad, brother, and gran. Plus visiting friends. Oh and lots of ice cream too." She smiled widely when she said 'ice cream.' Ice cream was a given. "And you? Do you have plans?"

Maxwell smiled at Minerva. "Hey! Yupp you caught us, we're following you!" He said in a joking manner. "No, I haven't seen her come back yet but if i do i'll tell her you're looking for her."

Maxwell continued not to say much to the two, he could see this was killing Damon. if you really love her, prove it. tell her while i'm right here...i'm only sitting here because this is how you make me seem, if you want to put me in the role of the villain then you'll get your villain! He thought and wondered if Damon could see it in his eyes. "So, what are you two talking about?" He asked them.

Damon forced himself to lift his head, trying to look calm, "We weren't talking about much. Just how the other table was getting to crowded..." He gave Maxwell a look trying to hint him off to something he probably already knew by now: Damon didn't want him there that that particular moment, "And I was telling her something I'd really rather no one else hear."

Minerva smiled at the boy they were a good group weren't they. She was happy to have made some new hopefully friends. "Ok thanks, and stop following me or I'll think your stalking." she gave them a wink and then left them to their obvious triangle.

Maxwell saw the look and knew what it meant but didn't care. "Well, you picked a horrible place to tell a secret considering the whole school is in one room." Maxwell laughed a little at the stupidity in Damon's comment.

Damon fought the urge to get up and walk away. He'd grown tired of Maxwell thinking he was a coward, "No one seems to be listening to us. And besides that, nobody cares what a lone goth boy has to say to his friend. I've learned that." He couldn't really cover the anger he felt at the moment.

Carigan was suddenly stricken, she hadn't told Sophie where she lived? How could she not have told her! It must have slipped her mind. "Well I live in Canada! In New Brunswick... in a cabin in the woods!" She told Sophie. "We own a lot of land and own a whole lake too but we thought the small cabin was enough of a house for us."

Maxwell tilted his head in curiosity. "Why do you always do that? Just assume you're different or that people see you some way because you're a goth? You're just like the rest of us underneath all the make-up." He said not sure why he had said it, maybe it was just his curiosity.

One of his two hands tightened on his drink. Don't crack... That's all he's doing... Damon looked at him, "If Puck doesn't want to be around me when I look like this why would anyone else?" He wished he wouldn't have let that slip, he never told anyone how much it actually hurt him that his Dad hated the way he was.

Maxwell shook his head. "If he doesn't like it that doesn't mean there's nothing wrong with you. No offence to your father, Ash but he's not some all powerful man who says what's good and what's not. Stop using that as an excuse, I think we could be friends if it weren't for-" He stopped himself remembering Taylor was in between them "Your house winning the house cup this year." He said trying to save it. Am I encouraging him or am i his enemy?

Damon couldn't fight the glare, "Well, it's a big deal normally when your own father doesn't want to be around you; but you don't know what that's like either, do you?" His hands pulled into fist, Who does he think he is, sitting here trying to give me life advice? It wasn't helping, "Don't remind me that I am in this house..." He shook his head, he hated his house, the first person ever in his family to not be in... Well, Maxwell's house.

Taylor pay attention to the conversation at first but then just gave up at the rapid responses. She drifted off thinking of a song. Tay put her elbow on the table and her chin in her hand.

Maxwell was slightly angry now. "Jack wasn't always around you know. I grew up thinking a Muggle was my father, a Man who abused me simply because i was a wizard, something i couldn't help. I was locked in a room for hours on end, i was allowed to leave to go to school, eat and use the bathroom. So yeah you're right, i don't know what it's like to have a father who doesn't want to be around me, but i know what it's like to have one that hated me. That would rather i was born horribly ill than the way i was." Maxwell said with an unrelenting scowl.

Damon forced himself to stop, Is it possible he actually does have a sense of humanity after all? His glare dropped, he suddenly felt really bad, "I didn't know." His anger still shook him, but his eyes dropped to the floor feeling ashamed; his mother had always told him never to jump to conclusions... And here he was doing it anyways; Mom's probably turning over in her grave for that one...

Tay flinched as the anger interrupted her thoughts. She looked between the two boys, "WHat is wrong?" Taylor had a frown of concern across her face.

Maxwell shook his head. "How could you, I don't talk about it. That Muggle isn't my father and i never have to see him again, but that doesn't change my past at all. So if anyone understands about having father issues, i think it would be me." If you weren't my enemy we could probably be friends, too bad things are the way they are.
