The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear.
Messer went to the Great Hall o attend the end of the term feast. Its the end of term already? It felt like yesterday he walked towards the very same doors into the Great Hall shaking like a mad man wondering where the sorting hat would put him. but to his great relieved, he ended up in the same house like his mother.
And now a year later, he finished his first year and top of it Hufflepuff won all of that shinny cups. The House, Quidditch and Gobstone Cup. This year definitely his best year yet.
SPOILER!!: Sophie

She had grown as a student and as a person and didn't regret a single thing about this year; she would have done it all exactly the same!
With the biggest smile on her face - pretty much like the one she had when she sat at the Hufflepuff table for the first time, almost a year ago - Sophie skipped her way to the merriest, most yellow table of the Great Hall! She wasn't thinking about the goodbyes, not really. She knew that just because some people were leaving, it didn't mean they wouldn't see each other ever again. They would! She was sure of that!
When he arrived at the Hufflepuff table, some of his housemate already there and one of them is Sophie. Another first year he met back in the first flying lesson. "Hey, Sophie." Messer greeted his fellow first year. "Is this seat taken?" he asked. "How's your first year? Did you enjoy it?" He's pretty sure that the girl enjoyed it as much as he did. "And I heard you're one of the Golden Badgers. Congratulation!" Now Messer regrets turned her help in transfiguration down because his prided get the better of him.

It was strange, being here like this when in felt like just yesterday Ella had been sorted into Hufflepuff. In the beginning she had no idea if she'd even like the house and the people in it. Now...well they were family. It would be strange, not seeing them everyday. Summer definitely would be lonely without the chaos of the common room and gossip in the girls' dormitory. It made Ella feel a little sad. That feeling didn't last long, though. Hufflepuff had reason to celebrate, many actually. They had kicked-erm-bottom this term!
When Messer was waiting for the arriving of Head Boy and Miss Prefect, he saw a very familiar face. His partner in DADA. "Heya, Ella." he gave his fellow Hufflepuff a small wave. "How's your year?" He asked while wondering when they gonna start the feast. He's kinda hungry.
SPOILER!!: Mr. Head Boy and Captain Stone

It was...difficult. Knowing you weren't coming back.
Either way, he made it to the Great Hall and took a seat close to Eve. As inconspicuously as possible. His eyes taking everything in, for one last time. Actually, doing that made him feel better, much better. And knowing they had a Quidditch Cup in their hands made him smile even more. So, good thing he did come down here, he was slowly regaining his usual mood. A happy one.

The hand not holding her wand was very noticeably out of sight, behind her back, twirling his other present between its fingers.
She let the package down in front of the Head Boy, and very cautiously caught up. Her means of greeting was a squeeze on the shoulder and a kiss on the cheek.
"I'd prefer it if you didn't open that until you're back in your common room." Or otherwise far away from her. "It was bad enough having it wrapped and locked in my trunk since Christmas." Nightmare bad.
Anyway, "How're you?" She couldn't imagine Treyen being too great. It was his last night here, after all. And he actually liked Hogwarts, for whatever reason. He willingly spent Christmas here, for Merlin's sake.
....Oh, hi, Alyssa. Ellie smiled at the younger girl. ...She probably wasn't helping.
Ah. There he's Mr. Head Boy. Messer was about to stand up and said his good bye, someone was already by his side and that someone was none other than Mr. Head Boy girlfriend, Ellie Messer favorite captain.
When the young badger thought they already finished saying goodbye, Ellie kissed Treyen' cheek. His poor eyes. "Umm..Child present here." *cough* He didn't want to ruin their moment but his poor eyes can't take anymore kissing. "Treyen, I just wanna say good bye and good luck." Whatever was Treyen going to do after Hogwarts.
"Hey, Ellie." Messer greeted the Ravenclaw captain with a wide smile. He just hoped that she's not angry with him because he interfere her time with the Head Boy.

And he had a LOT of things to tell his Dad about! Like about Quidditch and winning the Trophy. And the House Cup, which he hadn't contributed to much. And Gobstones! They won that too. All these tophies and it was only his first year. He had six more amazing years left.
Great!
Alec made his way along the table and sat down in an empty seat. His eyes wandered up and over towards the Gryffindor table. The familiar flock of brown hair wasn't there... so he could just stay with the badgers. Yeah. He could stay and talk to anyone who'd want to talk to a soon-to-be second year.
Aaaaaannndd look who came next, its his roommate, Alec and he came alone. Hmm..Where all his fangirls go? Then he noticed that his roommate' eyes went to the Gryffindor table. Messer bet all his buttons that he's looking for Anya. "Hello, Mate!" he greeted him with a wide grin. "Looking for Anya?" More grin.

She hadn't seen him yet and was wondering if he was in the great hall. "And I've been spending a lot of time on the grounds, just exploring with friends. What have you been up to?" The first year asked curiously, smiling at Harvey.
Harvey smiled as she told him what she had been upto.. when she spoke of Logan he noticed that she quickly looked over at the Gryffindor table for a moment before turning back to him and asking him the same "Oh nothing much.. I to have been spending alot of time on the grounds.. school work.. everyone was busy so didnt hang out with anyone much.. mostly out and about on my own." he smiled as he said this.. he wondered how things were between her and Logan.. but he didnt know whether he should ask or not.. maybe a little later..

Minerva looked at him. "Oh really?" she thought for a second then pointed her wand at him joking "What if I figured out the dress spell? or maybe just levetate you to your house table." then a small smile crossed her face. The capture the flag game. The spell she had been meaning to try. "Rictusempra" she said pointing at Harvey. "or I'll just do a tickling charm until you say that I'm the best."

Uh oh.. Harvey should have know that it would be a bad idea to say that he wasnt afraid of her and her wand.. cause at that moment her wand came out and was pointed at him.. he just looked at that wand and knew that he was in trouble for sure.. as she smiled.. well he made her smile.. that felt good.. tickling.. that was new.. "Well.. if you were to levitate me to my house table.. I would probably come back here.. it would feel strange sitting there after all hours I have spent at this table.. tickling charm?" he questioned as he looked at Ella.. "I didnt know that you knew that charm" he said as calmly as possible.. trying not to sure how he was suddenly feeling that he would have a spell cast on him by the end of this feast.. he then looked back at the wand that was still pointing at him.

Harvey looked at Minnie and saw that she was smiling.. this automatically made him smile.. it was good to see her smiling.. he then relaxed as she put her wand away and spoke to Ella.. he nodded "Yeah.. you would have fun.. if you were the one WITH the wand.. and not on the receiving end of it.. and trust me I have seen that wand tip ALOT!" he said chuckling as he looked back at Minnie.. he was beginning to love that new look of hers more and more.. maybe Ameliah was right.. maybe this new look had reduced the stress that she had been feeling earlier.. maybe it WAS a girl thing. Minerva pulled her wand and began to levitate a cup. Her mind was on the spell but also on two missing bodies. She put the cup down after a few minutes of silence. "Harvey when was the exact last time you saw Ame?" she had to figure this out..

That's great said Oakey, relieved to see the housemate he looked up to wasn't unhappy about leaving Hogwarts anymore. Summer? I can't wait one more second for it to come around. Oakey had received a letter about some kind of surprise when he returned home. Harvey couldnt believe that Minnie mentioned his new hair to Alyssa.. sure she had probably seen it.. it was hard to miss what with the bright color.. but no need to bring it to her attention.. oh wells.. it was done now.. "Hey Alyssa. how are you?" he asked a little nervousily.. with his pink mohawk.. which he hadnt gotten rid of yet.. why?.. he had no idea.. he then turned to Mins who was asking him about Ame.. "Well yeah it is a little odd that I havent seen her.. but I am sure she is busy with other stuff and didnt have time to hang out or have a little date with me.. and thats ok.. its understandable.. we are in school.. with schoolwork.. now that its over I am sure she will turn up.. Well yeah if she did then I am sure someone would get them for her.. if I could I would.. since we are together.. but I cant unfortunately so I guess it will have to be a fellow puff." he said smiling as he thought about who would get Ame's bags IF Ame had left school.. well it seemed that way since he hadnt seen her in a very long time.. Mins was right.. it had been 6months or so since he had last seen her.. the other half of the Amigos will turn up. He thought listening to Alyssa and Minnie talk about changing hairstyles, being at the top and getting awards.
Ella smiled when Sophie greeted her. "How are you, Sophie? Isn't this exciting?" Cause Hufflepuff is the champion, my friendddd "I can't believe we won the house cup!" Not really though, they had all worked so hard. Hufflepuff definitely deserved it.
"It IS, isn't it??" Sophie's eyes sparkled as she bounced on her seat. She couldn't be happier! "Hufflepuff is the beeeest!" She added, throwing her arms up. "I can't wait for next year, to do it all over again!" Hah! They could do it again, she knew it!

Sophie looked up when she heard someone else talking to her. "Hey, Messer!" She smiled at her housemate. "Not really, you can sit here if you want!" She added, gesturing towards the seat next to her. Her smile widened when he asked about her first year at Hogwarts. "It was brilliant! I couldn't have loved it more, really! What about you??"
Now, if Sophie was the shy type, she would have blushed at his next comment, but all she did was smile and look straight at him. "Thank you! We did have some amazing work to do, didn't we?" She heard someone take a seat at the table and looked down to see Ella, one of her other first-year puff friends. "Hey Ella!" She called, waving enthusiastically.
Glenn watched the doorway and saw Treyen enter and immediately be surrounded by students saying their farewells. Glenn glanced back at Sophie, "I'll be back soon." She said getting up from her seat and hovering awkwardly near him.
Once she got nearer, she sat down in an empty seat and gave him a HUMONGOUS hug. For once, she ignored Ellie, who she still had an inkling of fear about from an incident near the start of the school year. "I'm gonna miss you Treyen..." The blonde said, still hugging him. She drew away and blinked away a couple of stray tears, "Treyen-Mr-Head-Boy I mean." Sophie had come up with that nickname at the start of the year when they had met him.
"You're not going to just leave and not talk to us again, are you?" She said.

"Good." She'd promised. That's what mattered.

He twined his pinky finger with hers. "Promised." That was official, then. She was going to behaved nicely from now on, not that he doubted she hadn't been so far, but it relieved him somehow, to have made that promise.
OHLOOK! Sophie saw the Head Boy at the same time Glenn did. "HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITREYENMISTERHEADBOOOOOOOOO OOOOY!!!" She said excitedly, waving her arm so he could see her. She did miss calling him that. Most of the times around the year she had met him under certain situations where it wasn't the time for nicknames, but now she could call him whatever she wanted again! Finally getting up, she rushed behind Glenn.
Sophie would miss him, but wasn't feeling all sad like the others. It wasn't like he was going to die or anything! They could still meet up in... Diagon Alley, probably! Or around, anyways! No sadness needed! "I don't care if you're leaving, you'll always be Treyen-Mr-Head-Boy to me!" Yep! Time to get used to it if you haven't yet, Treyen!

"Cool. How about red and purple bangs. Nah! I don't deserve an award. I just did what all the other Huffelpuff's did. I just worked hard like everyone did...even you. So put yourself down okay. You had personal stuff to deal with, and that's just as important too. Aaaahhhh!!...I'm sorry. I don't know why I'm so tired."Alyssa apologized to Minerva.
Nate walks over to his house table for the end of term feast. Wow a whole year has gone by all ready. I sure will miss this place over the summer. Nate thought. He saw all of his friends. He saw Treyen, Sophie, Alyssa, Minnie, Oakey, and the rest of them. He sat across from Oakey this time. "You ready for the summer Oakey?" Then he turned to Alyssa, and said "What about you Alyssa? You ready for the summer?" Nate would miss them all during the summer. The became his family. Next year will come, and some of them wouldn't be here. Like Treyen and Sophie the two prefects.

"Hi Nate. Yeah I guess I'm ready for the summer. I don't even know what I'm doing this Summer. I may go visit my cousin, Cheyenne for awhile. She lives in Kensington. Other than that, I guess I'll just be sitting at home unless I can convince my brothers to go surfing and bring me along. Or my Mom will want me to start preparing for my OWLS...and yeah I know we only do it in Year 5 but you know how mother's can be." Alyssa sighed. She didn't even know why she was rattling on and on.

"Thank you! We did have some amazing work to do, didn't we?" At least she had enjoyed doing pretty much all of the homework assignments they were given! And she didn't consider herself as a nerd or anything. Heh!
Sophie glanced back to where she was sitting and saw Carigan there! "HI, CARIGAN!" She said loudly in a way her friend could hear her, waving her arms again.
Angelina decided to head off and look for some friends at the feast, first off she went to the Hufflepuff table. To her luck she found her friend Sophie and a few others. She wondered if the others would remember her from the start of the year. SMiling she walked over and said, "Hi Sophie." To be nice she turned to the others, smiled and waved.
"Yeh. If only I st-" His words start to mumble as if he didn't want to bring it up. "So anyways I'll probably be staying at home. Discovering more of the basement. Hoping nothing will attack me again. Already had that happen to me once. Don't want to go through it again. I'll probably visit diagon alley since I live so close to it. I'll really miss you during the summer. Next year I might be vistiting America to see what it's like. Once that happens we'll be all over America." He then sees alot of other people that he will miss as well. He's the only one that he knows that lives in England. So he really can't go anywhere to visit some of his friends from hogwarts.
He had said good but where was the pinky? Ella raised her eyebrows, wiggling her own pinky towards the head boy. Didn't he know the importance of the gesture?
After a moment he seemed to get the point and Ella smiled widely, nodding her head. "Promised." She repeated, relieved. Now she had to be good, not that she was ever really bad but maybe she'd have some kind of personality change over the summer and this pomise would steer her back on the right path! Hence the importance of the pinky shaking.
After unhooking their pinkys, Ella fumbled with her hands sheepishly."Well I'll uh-leave you to your friends." The first year said, not knowing what else to say. Plus, the older boy probably had important things to discuss like-erm-politics or something...what did older kids talk about anyway?Hesitating for a moment before reaching her arms forward, Ella hugged the head boy. Then she pulled her arms back quickly and with a parting smile, bid the boy farewell. "Bye then."
No, seriously, this has been like the cutest thing that's ever happened to him while at Hogwarts. The cutest. Also, this was his first pinky promise. It was going to be stuck in his mind forever. He didn't mind that, though.
He nodded when she repeated his words. It was a promise now, and while it wasn't an unbreakable vow, he felt confident she'd keep true to her word.
Also, he smiled sweetly as she decided to move on and spend the rest of the feast with her own friends. "It's okay." He hadn't mind her company, actually, and he was spending time with his girlfriend after the feast, so, no problem. The hug was returned as well, "Bye, Ella. Have fun during summer." Because then school was bound to come back and homework and such. He was actually fond of that, but he knew others didn't like that part of Hogwarts.

Why not just wrap the paper around enough so that you can't see what it's hiding? It was SO much easier. And possibly less time consuming.
She giggled and rolled her eyes. Treyen didn't know what was in the package, but there was no way she was wrapping that.
"You can let me know tomorrow," she nodded, holstering her wand. On the train. Or he could not let her know, if he didn't like it. She won't be asking, so he could avoid lying if that were the case.
Oh, good. Treyen remembered. And yet, he hardly remembered when they met. Granted, it was nearly a year before. And there was absolutely nothing remarkable about their meeting. However, Reyn was something remarkable.
Her cheeks grew warm the instant his hands were on her face. "You're welcome. Those were smart words." For thirteen year old Treyen to say. Or anyone, really. What a bright little boy he was. That was why he needn't have worried so much over NEWTs. He was naturally brilliant.
And he kissed her. One of her hands closed around his wrist. She loved his hands there, okay?
Also, he loved her, which made her grin, despite Treyen stealing another kiss. "Of course." Was that even a question? Besides, she could very clearly tell that he had fans friends to attend to.
She pulled away farther when he took the card, to see Arya joining the table. "Hey, Arya!" Cheerful, the Ravenclaw was. And Arya looked most un-Arya-like not matching that mood. "How're you?" Same question as Treyen. Only...she didn't know how to make the girl Hufflepuff feel better about this, as she did her boyfriend.
Wink. Definitely, she needed to pass that along. That'll win him points with Mrs. Stone. Though, he highly doubted that being good at wrapping presents could be considered a very nice compliment.
"Of course." Tomorrow, they still had the train ride. And quite possibly...a little bit more alone time before they parted ways? Hopefully.
Honestly, if those had been smart words, he didn't care. All he cared about was that there was a tiny piece of her mind that he was able to change. Of course, he'd been pretty good at Divination back then. When he attended lessons, that is. It was perfectly clear others shouldn't follow his lead and attend all classes. So, what did he say to that? Nothing, he merely shrugged. Those blue eyes distracted him from thought.
At her touch, he blushed. And all he wanted to do was kiss her again...but...they had company. Plus, they were seeing each other later, anyway, as close to her Common Room entrance so she wouldn't get in trouble. "Good." He could still walk around the Castle a bit after curfew as he pretended to make rounds or something of the like.
But then...she called out to...

Either way, she'd taken her sweet time making it to the feast, doing her usual trip around the grounds before even making it up to the ground level.
Decked out in her school uniform, she nibbled her bottom lip and took a seat across from her best friend and his girlfriend. Mind clearly elsewhere as neither got so much as a smile for the seventh year, and the younger students crowded around Treyen went seemingly unnoticed.
...Arya?
A smile went her way, and that was all. Wherever his best friend was...it wasn't at this table.
She'll be seeing Sabel tomorrow, wouldn't she? So, where was the excitement he expected to see from her? Because her boyfriend was picking her up, right? At the train station. Unless she was thinking about her last feast...and...that didn't sound like Arya at all. So, her mind was probably busy thinking of Sabel, minus the exciting part.
Something was up.

And here was the girl Ellie had been rude to.
Did his girlfriend ever apologized? No. And he wasn't bringing it up now either. She'd apologized to Kurumi, and that was enough for him. But nooooo, why were there tears on her face? Granted, only a few, but still. He was the one who ought to be crying, though he clearly was, deep inside. But he was doing a mighty good job at keeping those hidden. Wait until he sees no Rufus in the dormitory tonight.
The hug was...exactly how many more hugs was he going to get? His eyes went to Arya for a moment, hoping none will come from her. She could hug Aaron for the rest of the summer, though.
Back to Glenn. He smiled after hearing his 'nickname'. "Truth be told, I'm going to miss having you girls calling me that." Because the badge was going away. He wasn't going to be Head Boy anymore. Thanks for the reminder. "And you too, of course." The smile only widened a bit more.
Also, "No, I may not be coming back to Hogwarts...but I'm sure we can see each other in Diagon Alley." He'll be going there, for sure, chances were he'll find a few Hogwarts students in there this summer.

HE CHUCKLED. Messer was funny. And totally pointing out the reason why some things are better done privately. Got it, kid. Sometimes you just can't help yourself.
He'll learn that, eventually. Not soon, hopefully.
No words were said, though, but Treyen did eye his girlfriend once more as he smiled before turning back to Messer.
"That's all you wanted to say?" What? No gift? Alec had given him gummy bears, and what was Messer going to him, eh? A lecture on kissing in public? That was no real present. "I wish we could've spent more time together, though," really, he did, because he was bound to have a good laugh thanks to the boy, "Thanks." For the good luck wishes and such. He was a good kid.

He couldn't think of what Harvey got for him or what the occasion was, but a surprise is a surprise and Oakey was eager to find out. I think I may have something big waiting for me when Summer Break starts. he told the Head Boy.
Mind you, he was speaking the truth. The way Oakey spoke of the summer, was, well, amusing in a way. The third year couldn't wait for it to get there, just as much as Treyen had been dreading it for months now. Only, as Ellie said, good things came from this ending, and he was going to meet his godson in a few days. That was...both terrifying and great.
"Any ideas as to what may be awaiting you back home?" He had to have some, right?

Considering Glenn was close by, then the other calling must be...yes, exactly, from Sophie. She was the one who started that nickname, by the way. And, of course, he couldn't help but chuckle. Not that he'll be mentioning it, but he's always liked those who weren't afraid to say what they really wanted to say. As long as it didn't bring others harm, that is.
But, clearly, that was something he did. Saying what he thought. Ellie had pretty much encouraged it over the years.
"That's...actually very nice, Sophie." The nicest thing, actually. "I don't mind it anymore." Much, anyway. But his smile clearly stated that he didn't mind it for real. He was going to miss it, hence why Sophie's words had brought a smile to his face. "Ready for summer?" She seemed to be.

Anya was finished sulking and decided that maybe she should just talk with someone. And, of course, the only person that came across her mind was Alec. Blakey was the person that she told all her secrets to. But after a quick scan of the table, she saw that her best friend was busy talking to the Head Boy.
And so Anya looked around for someone else she might know.
Laura had been suddenly thinking about how well this term had gone when she suddenly saw Anya. "Anya, it's been ages." Laura sighed, seriously it had been too long, the last time she saw her was when they were getting lost. "How are you today then Anya?"

She heard someone take a seat at the table and looked down to see Ella, one of her other first-year puff friends. "Hey Ella!" She called, waving enthusiastically.
Elise bounced into the hall, blonde waves bouncing with her. Ravenclaw might not have won this year like they wanted, but it was HUFFLEPUFF! And that was good enough! Remembering her sorting, she giggled a little. Her life might've been so different had she been a Hufflepuff, but she didn't mind!
Maybe she'd pay the Puff table a visit. Just to say congrazzles and that stuff. And maybe she'd find some new friends too! Yay! Spotting Glenn, the second year tackled her friend from the back.
"Hey Glenn!" she beamed, flopping herself into the seat next to her. "Hey, Hufflepuff!" she waved at the rest of the table.
