The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear.

It was actually nice, knowing that she had helped in some small way to create all this excitement and happiness. It made her feel pretty proud. The first year simply smiled when Alec agreed he was glad they were friends. It was good to have that sorted. Ella wanted as many friends as she could get. Life was simply dull without people to share your experiences with.
Interesting. Hah. Ella smirked at that word. She definitely was interesting, unlike any other person Ella had ever met. "Nope. Actually, none of my grandparents are." Ella was the only one so far to show any signs of magic, something she loved and hated. "Well...I never really met dad's father so I guess I can't speak for him. I like to think he was a great wizard though. Or maybe a super hero! That would be even better." Because thinking great things about her paternal grandfather beat thinking he was a mean old man who left his family to move cross the ocean.
Ella looked at Laura and her face softened. She hadn't meant to make Laura feel bad too. "Don't worry about it, Laura. It's over now." She gave her friend a small smile to reassure her it was fine. "I'm sure she'd appreciate the apology. That would be nice." But only if Laura meant it. Ella didn't want her to apologize if it wasn't sincere.
"Why that's a great idea! I'll help write the music...not that I know how to write music but I'll figure it out." Ella would have to add that to her list of things to do this summer. "I bet my dad can help me out. He's good at that kind of stuff. I think he might take me to see some live music this summer! I'm quite excited about it." Just thinking about it made Ella grin. Music was something that her and her dad could bond over.
Ella's mouth dropped wide open as Oakey began to rap. She was surprised and amused by it. He was quite good actually, something she hadn't expected. "I didn't know you could rap..." Maybe he led a double life and had this entirely other rapping persona. That would be wicked!
Logan laughed. "Perfect!" he said. "Live music?! That is awesome!" he said. "Who might you see?" he asked curiously.
Minerva laughed "I know, I know. It's just fun to put him on the spot at times. Yeah Harvs and I can get pretty deep." she giggled trying to see if his face was red yet.
Damon walked back up to the table again, feeling a little better, he sighed taking a seat in the same general area before pouring himself another glass of water, he looked and saw the girl from earlier... what was her name again? He decided to take a guess, "Hey, Minerva!"
Minerva laughed "I know, I know. It's just fun to put him on the spot at times. Yeah Harvs and I can get pretty deep." she giggled trying to see if his face was red yet.
Ameliah laughed. Clearly she was trying to embaress him, but in a funny way. Hmmm... maybe I'll help. she looked at Harvey. "Did you have a pet name, Harvey? (meaning did Mins give him a nickname) Did you buy her presents?" She inquired, trying her hardest to stifle a laugh.

Yes, acting. His sister wasn't too thrilled, honestly, but she'll just have to get used to that.
The Head Boy still nodded, a big smile on his face. "I'm not entirely sure. I may, though." Because he liked the Muggle world a lot, it'd be very hard not to partake in such a wonderful experience, right? Though, it was rather tricky, since the Wizarding world and the Muggle world had to be kept separate somehow. "Maybe just once." To check it out. "I'll let you know if I do." That's how long they had to keep in touch for him to actually let her know. So, in reality, it was a promise, that they'll keep on seeing each other. At least over summers.
"Cool." Glenn said. "Well - I'll see you during summer then. Promise?" The little badger suddenly fixed him with a stare, daring him to go back on his word.
After a second or two, she beamed and gave him another little hug, "Bye!" She waved and got up from the table to go sit with her friends further along the Hufflepuff table.

"About as fine as you can be when you hurt the girl you think you-" He forced himself to stop. Damon looked at her, "Cousins, by marriage. Her aunt married my Dad." He shook his head, "Luckily no blood, or that would make things even more awkward for me..."

Harvey was about to answer this when Minnie took it upon herself to answer it.. yup it WAS a funny story.. it felt strange at the time that this had happened.. but it was good in a way.. the Amigos were still together.. Harvs looked at Minnie as she rolled her eyes jokingly "I know they do... I was just saying.. thats all" he said rubbing that back of his neck a little embarrassed. Harvey chuckled "Yeah we shortened each other's names.. I came up with Minnie while she came up with Harvs.. and now those are the names people use.. well I sometimes call her Mins now." he chuckled.. well the girls seemed to be enjoying this question time game.. and if he had to be truthful so was he.. this one would be added to the moments he had fun with Mins.. yup funtimes just like old time just the way they used to be.. like always. Minerva took the poem and read it. "Oh my Damon that is Amazing. Oh she has to know you like her. Maybe she is just afraid it would get awkward since you are kind of family." Minerva did feel bad for him. "You know Damon I think things always workout for a reason and if she is suppose to be with you then you will find a way to really show you are serious. If not then I know you will find a girl that will appreciate you. "

"So Logan, now that your aunt is going to China...what kind of adventures should we go on this summer?" Ella asked, eyebrows raised. Maybe they could go swimming finally cause they didn't get a chance to here.
"Oh." Logan said. "Well I'm sure you'll have a blast, whoever you see!" LOgan said. "So its sort of like a surprise basically?" he asked.
Logan laughed. "Adventures! Wicked!" he said grinning. "Well, my aunt lives in a mansion. I hear there's a secret tunnel somewhere in the library that leads somewhere. So, now that she's out, we can explore that. And we have a lot of acres of woods. We can go camping there...and we have an indoor and outdoor pool where we can swim!" he said, blushing slightly. He didn't know exactly why, but he was.

While Kurumi's attention had not been primarily on Treyen, for perhaps the first time she was in his presence, the Gryffindor DID notice the grin that appeared on the Head Boy's lips.
It only made her cheeks flush a deeper shade of pink.

While he felt his heart beat increase when she was suddenly standing right next to him, he tried his best to ignore it as he looked up at her. "Borrow...me...?" Lewis echoed with a quick glance at Treyen...who seemed to be completely engrossed in something else. That meant he wouldn't mind him leaving for just a second, right?
Blushing a little he got up from his seat and moved to stand next to Kurumi. "Sure..." Lewis resisted the urge to chew on his lip for now, watching her expectantly as he waited to see what she wanted from him.
Kurumi fumbled with her robes a bit, shuffling her feet under her just a little while she waited for Lewis to respond. She did notice the pinkish glow that was forming on his cheeks and it only caused her to chew on her lip some more as she toyed with the drawstrings of the bag she held behind her back. Her hair was doing it again, turning pink that is, but she didn't take notice of this just yet because Lewis was standing up.
Kurumi took a small step back to allow him to move a little easier. For the first time, in a long while, Kurumi felt nervous and tongue tied around Lewis. Usually had been spending time together was not in a public setting like this and Kurumi was suddenly very aware of all of the potential eyes on them. Aware enough that the changes to her hair stopped despite her heart pounding in her chest.
"Thank you. I-I promise I won't keep you long...," she whispered, her cheeks flushing a bit more as she removed the bag from behind her back and reached into it up to her shoulder until her small hands found the box she was looking for. Good. At least she hadn't somehow managed to lose this box - despite losing the one for the school staff containing her signature cookies. "I know, um, I know you said it was more then enough of a thank you," she said, stumbling over her words as she met his gaze, her eyes lingering on the corner of his lip that she had caught the other day in the kitchen. "But...I wanted you to have this too." She pulled out a small box containing a roll cake and held it out for him to take.

Minerva took the poem and read it. "Oh my Damon that is Amazing. Oh she has to know you like her. Maybe she is just afraid it would get awkward since you are kind of family." Minerva did feel bad for him. "You know Damon I think things always workout for a reason and if she is suppose to be with you then you will find a way to really show you are serious. If not then I know you will find a girl that will appreciate you. "
Damon laughed, "I promise you, she doesn't know. She knows it's all for the girl I like... but she doesn't know it's her." He shook his head, "You sound like Puck with finding someone else. He's even set me up on a date with someone he met vacation's daughter."
It had to have been NEWTs. That had taken up a good chunk of her time, studying for them and all. "I will enjoy it." It was more a promise to herself than to Ellie. Because this WAS her last and she didn't want to remember mopping over things that couldn't be dealt with until she was back in London.
"Make sure I see you before you head back here." Ellie was one of the few that the graduating Hufflepuff wanted to see over the summer, and one of the few she would be writing. After all, most all of her friends graduated years ahead of her.
Arya was so clearly NOT enjoying this feast. At least she didn't look like she was. Arya. Who was ALWAYS so happy and bubbly seemed nearly the opposite tonight. Ellie leaned across the table. "It helps to smile." Just some advice.
She sat back on her legs and stole a sip of water from what would be Treyen's goblet, given he stayed in place for the duration of the feast. "Definitely. I'll be around." Except when she was with Little Professor. But that wouldn't be the majority of her summer. Not this year.

Mins I am sure she has heard it around school.. she has been here since September.. people are bound to talk about our little group.. despite us not hanging out much this year" he said looking at Minnie before looking at Callidora and again looked at Minnie..

Ameliah appreciated the help from Harvey. "And yeah, a few Puffs have talked about it."
Glenn smiled and said, "The year has been BRILLIANT!" Emphasise on the 'Brilliant'. "What're you doing for summer? Some of my relatives are coming from New Zealand to come meet my baby brother. Oh yeah!" Glenn smacked a hand to her forehead, "My mum had the baby. His name's Elroy." The blonde didn't feel the need to explain that her brother had come quite early. Her parents had only been allowed to take him from a ward in St Mungos the other day, she had got the news in a letter.
Smiling Angelina said, "Thats great!" Angelina giggled a little and listen to Glenn talk about her new baby brother, how exciting! "Thats so neat! Do you have a picture of him or anything?"
