Laura could hear raised voices at the Staff table. "Professor Hadley and the other Professor's should take Professor Dragon, I mean Professor Lafey down a peg or two she needs it, or saying that maybe if someone gave her a hug she would feel a lot better." Laura giggled, she just hoped none of the Professor heard her, expecially Lafay.

Lewis tried hard to keep his face void of any emotions, quite aware that they were anything but alone right now. Which was probably a good thing too. That way they could be sure nothing would happen. Nothing being...well, what seemed to be happening every time they'd found themselves alone somewhere. So here was probably the safest place for them to be right now.

Especially with Treyen close by.

But it still made him even more nervous somehow. Crossing his arms to stop his hands from fidgeting with his sleeves, Lewis just nodded at her words at first. The Great Hall was probably not the place to say something like 'you can keep me as long as you like' and really what else was there to answer. It was only then that he noticed something different about her. Her hair...her hair had started to acquire a slightly pinkish hue again. His mouth opened to say something - while trying to hide a smile - but the changing stopped before he got around to it.

Better not to point it out then. Not here anyway.

Lewis watched her curiously as she went to look for something in her bag. Was she...yes, she was. She'd pulled out a small box which he eyed for a moment before meeting her gaze again as she mentioned their last conversation. Yes, that. He blushed without noticing it and began sucking on his lip as if on cue as her gaze dropped to the corner of his mouth for a second.

Before he got the chance to say anything - not that he would have had ANY idea what to say - Kurumi held out the box for him to take. Which he did. "T-thank you." He smiled at her a little nervously, not really sure if hugging her would be an appropriate response. Resisting the urge to glance at Treyen for advice - he couldn't ask him about everything after all - Lewis just stared down at the box for a moment.

Was he allowed to open it now?

Minerva looked a little confused. "What happened?" someone did something to a professor. "I know I had to leave for awhile, but I never heard that anything happened."

"Yes it was." But it'd be more fun if he didn't humiliate himself in front of a girl. She managed to fly him with those simple spell, next year that won't be happening again. Giant pillow fight?! Hmm..Why that didn't surprise him that Alec suggest it. "Of course I want in." He couldn't say no to a pillow fight now couldn't he? And beside Messer didn't want to miss kicking Alec' butt

"Visiting friends? That's sounds fun." He wished that his family would go traveling to this summer but he doubt that. Then Messer' eyes went wild when Ella mentioned about ice cream. "Wow! I'm SO jealous. I hope you could send me some of the ice cream." That would be nice, yes? "No exciting plans for now. I just gonna spend the rest of the summer with my sister." Not the best summer but he'll survive, right?



"Yes. We have too." Messer nodded his head. He was pretty sure that the snakes didn't really like handing over all of the three shinny cups to them and they would try harder next year to get them back but he won't let that happen. "I know. I heard the last time we won the house cup was 14 or 15 terms ago." Imagine how long it had been.

There's nothing wrong with wishing, right? Even though that was pretty stupid wish. "Yeah. Thank Merlin we didn't." But that was close though.



After making that kissing sound, Messer heard a snort coming out from Ellie. He just gave the older girl a grin. Well, its not like he's gonna kiss Treyen, that was just weird and he still valued his life after all. Not to mention he didn't want to be in Ellie' bad side.

Oh. Ellie had a good term? He was glad. She had, right? "Sooooo..Do you have any plans for summer?"

"Thanks, Mr. Head Boy." He really need that. What's with the chuckled? Was that because something he said? Huh? What was a kiss? That kissing sound? "Errr..If you say so." But he still thinks that was just a sound though.

"Don't mention it." Really.



He didn't complain about the grinning but it just plain weird. "Aww..I'm so touch." Really he's. Its not a sarcasm or something like that.

And here come the glare. How come someone could chance so quickly. One moment he was grinning like a Cheshire Cat and then a split second later his roommate already gave him a glare. "What's with the glare? I thought you're happy to see me." Unless its because something he said earlier. SMIRK.

"Apart from annoying you? Hmm..Let's see. Nope." he shook his head. "Just babysitting my lil sister." So no fun summer for him. "How about you? Any big summer plans?" With Anya perhaps?



Oh. Look who's decided to grace them with his present. "Hello, Captain Keefer." he greeted his Quidditch Captain with a curt nod. "Finally, Captain. I thought you won't be coming to the feast because you refused to leave the Quidditch Cup alone."

He smiled, "But what's you're family like?"

Ella nodded, trying to brush off the uneasy feeling she now had in her gut. She was definitely missing something but she wasn't so sure she wanted to know what. "O-okay, thanks Minnie." The first year said, smiling at the older badger. If anything, it was nice to know that Minnie had her back.



Ella felt herself smiling despite being nervous that a Professor might have overheard Laura. That girl sure was funny. "I don't think I'd be brave enough to hug her, would you?" Nope. The only Professors she would hug would be Williamson or Hadley or even Jenkins, who had attempted to help with the skrewt. She smiled, waiting for Laura's answer. What ever it was, it would probably be humorous.



Ella smiled excitedly as Messer agreed to take part in the pillow fight. "Good. It's a plan then. Hope you're good with your pillow." She said, smirking.

"Yeah, it should be. I'm happy I'll get to see at least some Hogwarts friends while we're away." Because as much as she loved her family, they could be a little draining. The first year smiled widely at Messer's reaction to the ice cream. Did he not have any where he lived? Frown. Everyone deserved ice cream! "I'd be happy to send you some only it would probably melt." Though even drippy ice cream was sometimes good. "Don't you have ice cream where you live?" Where did he live anyway? They had never discussed it. As for his plans. "That's nice though, spending time with family. How old is your sister?"

Ameliah smiled. "Good. I'm glad you aren't to pull a Minerva." she laughed a little. "And yeah, but only because she" she put on a severe voice to match her aunts, "'Does not wish to be arrested for my foolishness.' I'm just scared about what she'll do to my friends if she finds out they're helping me." she took a deep breath.

Ameliah saw Ella ask why Mins kept watching her and Logan. "Oh, don't mind her. She thinks I'm out to steal your boyfriend." She was annoyed that Minerva could be this rude after how Ameliah walked in the first place: broken down in tears.

Maxwell laughed a little. "She slipped the elixir of euphoria into Lafay's tea. She said Lafay was singing...She got detention, but would have thought it worth it." Maxwell said laughing and being ever the prankster.

Maybe she should have waiting until the train ride back to London to give this to Lewis? At least that way they may have been able to find an empty compartment for just a moment and then they could act normal around each other. The prefect couldn't help but laugh at herself and that thought. Act normal? Where had that thought come from? And what really was normal for them anyway? The tingling she felt in her hands as Lewis' hands came close to hers when took the box, feeling the warmth of his touch so close but not close enough, told her that she had an idea of what normal was.

Kurumi blushed furiously as she averted her eyes away from the corner of his lip to the box in his hands. The contents of that box represented so much, more than a silly roll cake should. And now she was passing all that shyly on to Lewis.

There were so many things she wanted to say right now, but she was finding herself rather tongue tied at the moment. The smirk Treyen had done earlier hadn't helped the situation either while at the same time it had. Treyen knew what had gone on between her and Lewis, confronted her about it, and now had looked rather pleased with her taking Lewis aside for a moment. That could only mean...

"Y-You're welcome," she replied, bowing her head while she too sucked on her lip. "You...you can open it now, if you want." Which she really hoped that he did. Besides birthday cakes and the cupcakes that she occasionally baked Treyen, Kurumi never really baked things other than cookies for people. While Lewis was unaware of this fact, for now, this was a very big gesture. Very big. Maybe Treyen would be able to confirm that for him once she had left.

Minerva thought for a second. "Well mom and dad were great. We traveled all the time. My little brother was annoying but what five year old isn't." she smiled at the memories, but felt the sadness as well. "I don't know my grandparents well that I have to live with now. I didn't even know my mom was a wizard until I began showing wizard ways. My cousins that I may stay with this summer seem nice. They are trackers and have a few jobs this summer so I might get to go to work with them."

"Oh wow that is crazy. I'm surprised Lafay didn't set her on fire instead of just detention." the girl was lucky she as still alive to speak of the event since she did it to Lafay. "How many points did she get taken for that?" Minerva couldn't imagine the points that would be lost.

Minerva tried to smile and then decided to look towards Harvey. No need to get Ella upset over hopefully nothing she thought. What as that girl crying over anyway that Logan would even care about. Minerva didn't like seeing people cry, but she didn't know whether to believe it was a real cry or not.

Alyssa picked up a spoon and tried to look at her reflection in it. She giggled when she saw her bangs. "It looks good Minnie. Cody is going to love it since she has the same color bangs that I now have, although I'm not sure whether my Mom will. Thanks for helping me out with it. Who knows I might add more streaks on the train. I really should practice that Ristaris and Felintas charm. I'm sure it'll come in handy this summer."Alyssa grinned thinking how she was going to change Alex's hair while he was sleeping.

"I'll send an owl to out to the whole team if I can get my parents to okay the idea. They're not especially fond of hosting lots of teenagers." That was probably an understatement. "But that way you would get to see the horses!" It sounded like she would enjoy that. And after the year she had had, she deserved a bit of fun.



Keefer snorted. Does he realize what he just said? Then Oakey began laughing and Keefer knew it was okay to do so himself. "Nice, man!" he joked, slapping Oakey on the back.



He laughed. "Hey, I wouldn't call this recruiting. I would call this encouraging healthy lifestyles and exercise." In other words, yes. "But they still have to try out, just like everyone else. I just want as big a turnout for tryouts as possible." The bigger the pool, the better the chances for a good team.



The Captain smiled. He figured he would be getting some grief for being late. But really, the Leaving Feast always went on for ages, he was fine. "Hey, Messer. Nah, I was just packing. Besides, Hadley's not in her office, so I couldn't get to it anyways." And it's not like he drooled over the Cup or anything, Messer.

He smiled, "They sound like they were wonderful people. Puck's a street performer. He and Mom both were, I'm an only child. I've got an uncle on my mothers side who always out. I never got to meet any of my grandparents."

Alec blinked. The girls had a pillow fight? Now wasn't this interesting! Him and Messer had a pillow fight at the beginning of term as well. "And, erm, out of interest," he started, "Who won that pillow fight?" You know, just so Alec would know who the main competition from the girl were. A battle? "Oh me and Messer are more than ready!" he said, "We're not going to go easy on you girls." Not even if they decided to wear dresses. Wait, did Ella just say ice cream sundae's? "Yeah, you've got yourself a deal," And with this, he held out his hand to Ella to shake.

Alec smiled. It was nice to see everyone happy about all the excitement and the triple victory. And, even though he only helped with the Quidditch stuff, it was still nice to know that he had contributed in some way. But Ella had contributed even more so she was the one who had to believe her amazingness. There. "I'm glad you agree," he said, "So how did you find your first year here?" Because they were both first years, and they were friends, so... they could share stories right? Right.

None of her grandparents were? "So are you Muggle born?" he asked. Oh. And Ella just said that she liked the thought of her dad's dad being a wizard. Which just meant that Alec had asked a stupid question. Go him! Brushing this aside, Alec let out a small chuckle. "Like Superman?" he said, "I think I'd start getting jealous if you were related to Superman." But if Ella was related to Superman, that had to mean... "Hey! This means you have superpowers!"



There was someone missing. Well, maybe not missing but there was someone he needed to talk to and that person wasn't his best friend. Maybe it was some sort of feeling inside him? Who knows. Something was just missing in this whole feast.

And, it was only as he was looking around at the table, that he realised what that 'missing thing' was. He hadn't talked to one of his fake older sisters! And the one he hadn't talked to so far was sitting right there! Why hadn't he noticed her before?

So the twelve year old stood up and wandered over towards the girl who was sitting on her own. "This is a feast," he said, "And no one should be sitting on their own." And that was the reason why he sat down next to her. That and the fact that he had missed the older girl.



Alec couldn't help but grin at his Captain. He called him 'pal'! He wasn't 'the Seeker' anymore, he was the older guy's pal! And Keefer had just ruffled his hair. "Well, good. The Captain should be here to celebrate with everyone else," he said. Keefer was the one who brought home the Quidditch trophy and he had tried hard in his classes and earning points. And Gobstones! Rumour had it that the sixth year was quite good at Gobstones.

Promised? When had Keefer promised anything? And, more importantly, what had Keefer promised? ... The guy bought him something? "Really? You didn't-" But before he could say anything else, his eyes fell on the bag that Keefer had placed into his hands.

No. Way.

Alec's eyes widened as he looked between Keefer and the bag. "G-gummy bears?" he asked, getting more and more excited by the second. This. Was. GREAT! "I... Keefer, you're the BEST! I'll save this for the train but thanks!" Alec wrapped his arms around Keefer's side and gave him a small hug. Keefer really was the best Captain around.



Alec blinked. Has he ever said that his roommate was weird? Because he was. Messer could top the scale for weirdness, especially with the comment he had just made. "As... you should be," he said, grinning some more.

What's with the glare? Messer was really asking that? "You just said stuff..." he started, "Stuff about Rilez..." His voice faded away as he shook his head. Should he let Messer get to his head? No. So he wasn't going to let him. The smile started spreading itself across his face.

Alec couldn't help but grin. "Are you going to annoy me or send me fanmail?" Because Messer seemed like he could switch between both, really. Babysitting? "I didn't know you had a sister!" Why did Messer fail to mention this? "I'm... going to go to Disneyworld with Rilez and maybe kite flying as well," he said, "And I'll annoy you as well."

"Yeah, I thought so." Why did everyone seem to think that he wasn't going to come to the Feast? He was only a few minutes late...

And, funnily enough, Alec didn't seem to know what he was talking about. Excellent, that means it will be a surprise! Given how much the boy loved his sweets, Keefer was surprised that he had forgotten. Although, it had been an exhilarating day. Small instances like that were bound to be forgettable.

But then... "Yeah, gummy bears! What else would you have wanted?" he laughed. "Haha, the best what, exactly?" he chuckled, accepting the hug gladly. "Share them with your friends or something, ok?" Because too much of a good thing could be a bad thing.

Harvey was watching Ameliah and Logan when Ameliah greet him with a smile "Hey Ameliah" he smiled and then looked at Mins before looking back at Minnie "Er.. how are you?" he asked.. acting as if Ameliah had just walked into the hall and not been here all this time.



Harvey smiled as he saw her look up at him and smile.. he then nodded "Yes it has been fun.. which I am glad it has been.. it made you giggle and smile as you had fun with all these people. Not to mention that I had a new hairstyle for a little while which some people seemed to like... so I would say this feast has been a success." he said grinning as he looked around the Great Hall.. it HAD been fun! Just the way he wanted it to happen just in case it was Minnie's last feast at this school.. he needed it to be fun and memorable for her and looking at her and what she had just said it HAD been a fun feast for her so all in all it was a success. Despite all this he hoped that this feast would not be her last.. but only time would tell what would happen.

Minerva giggled "Well I'm glad you like it. The charms are easy and I know you are one of the best witches here so you will do them easy peezy."

"Well I will look forward to it, if you are allowed. If not maybe we could meet somewhere else to play." it was just a suggestion. Anything to maybe see her friends this summer. She then got excited and clapped her hands together, before realizing what she was doing and quickly put them down turning a bit red. "That would be amazing if I could see them. I love animals."

Minerva shook her head, "Oh they were. Even when we were in hiding last summer they made sure I had my friends around." she glanced over to Harvey and thought of last summer. "Street performers. What does he do. That sounds fun. I would love to see street performers." Minerva wasn't sure if she had ever seen street performers before. "I understand with never meeting certain family members. I didn't know an entire side of my family until all this happened a few months ago. It wasn't until the family tree assignment Hadley had given us that I knew who I thought was my kidnapper last summer was really my cousin." She knew that sounded odd and crazy, but it was a true statement. "Damon you are such an interesting and fun person. I bet Taylor would fall for you easy if you would be able to get her to listen to you." Where did that come from Min she thought. She turned and looked around. "Where did she run off to anyway? I know she was upset over what Laura had said earlier, but I know Laura didn't mean it." she glanced down the table at her first year friend knowing she felt bad for being mean.

That had never occurred to him. "Um yeah... somewhere else... Maybe!" But where? "Even if not for Quidditch, you could probably come up to meet the horses if you'd like. Bring a friend or something, even, maybe. We'll see. It always depends on if we have any sick horses or births or anything. Then company is a definite 'no' until that passes." He noticed her excitement. Why does it seem like girls are always animal lovers? I mean, obviously they aren't ALL, but so many of them are!

Ameliah sighed. "I was fine but..." her eyes threatened to leak tears again, "My aunt. She's trying to get me home. She's decided... she won't let anyone in her way. I-I'm worried she'll hurt you guys." A tear fell down her face.

"Back to the Ravenclaw table." Damon looked over at Taylor.

Harvey listened as Ameliah spoke "Oh no! Well you will be home soon.. why would she hurt us?" he asked curiously as he saw a tear fall down her face.. "Dont cry Ameliah I am sure everything will be just fine" he said to her. Uh oh not again.. hadnt they had enough of that last summer.. being on the run for most of it before just about returning to school.. yeah he had a great time with his friends. he thought looking over at Minnie.. it was a year ago.. at the end of term feast that he had started feeling things for Minnie again and they got together again at the end of the summer.. yup it was a good summer despite being on the run.

Minerva rolled her eyes when Harvey talked to Ameliah, then she said something about an aunt. Minerva tried not to listen. "You know Harvs she looked back at him at least you won't say the wrong name if you shorten the little firstie's to Ame." she gave a mischievous grin. "Ame hasn't been around for so long maybe you need a new girlfriend." Minerva turned to the girl "Oh Am-el-iah" she said in an awkward tone "Why don't you leave Ella and Logan alone for a bit and come sit over here. If your going to be around my boy Harvs I guess I should learn who you are." Yup she was pushing the limit with this one, but why not.

"Oh that would be fun, but only if you would want me there and your family would be okay with it." That would be so much fun seeing Keefer and horses over the summer Min thought. "So what's your family like Keefer?"

She looked at the table but didn't spot Taylor. "Is Max with her? Maybe you should be over there with her instead of with me. Not that I don't mind your company. This has been kind of nice having a new friend around."

Ameliah sighed. "She was my old aunt, before I was adopted. I hate her. She hates me. I left, and never looked back. Now... she doesn't want to be arrested because I haven't been there for three years."

Ameliah looked at Minnie weird. "O-kay..." she said cautiously, sliding over so she sat across from the two. "And you suddenly want to be around me why?"

Harvey looked at Minnie as she called to him and listened to what she had to say.. not believing what he was hearing. He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly "Er.. Mins.. I am still with Amethyst." he said using her full name so they wouldnt be mistaken as to who he was talking about "She may not have been around.. but until it has been said that we are not together.. I believe that we are. So I dont need a new girlfriend" he said as Minnie called to Ameliah.. oh no.. here we go. He then looked at Minnie as she said that she wanted to get to know Ameliah if he was going to be around her boy.. wait! HER boy? oh.. she probably said that as a friend.. cause thats what they were .. friends.. they HAD been more.. but that was the past.. "Well seeing as we are in the same house.. I guess she will be." he said to her as he wondered what Minnie was upto he couldnt forget that mischievous grin that she had given him.. WAS she upto something?



He listened to Ameliah "Oh I see.. well do you HAVE to return home?.. Even if you do.. it would probably be for the summer and then you can come back here and have fun hanging out with all your friends" he said smiling.. it seemed there were many out there who couldnt stand to be around family members.

"Well I wish you all the best with your recruitment. I'm sure that you'll find the best team. I just wish that I was there to see you guys play next term."Alyssa told him. She was sure that Keefer would not have any problems finding new players to replace Treyen and the other positions that would be left vacant soon. Even hers.
