Harvey was still looking over at the staff table.. when he felt a hand on his arm and he kind of flinched.. he looked at whose hand it was and saw it was Minnie's he smiled "Oh yeah I am .. I am fine.. arent I always acting a bit weird?" he asked chuckling .. he then saw her roll her eyes and looked to where she was looking to see who she was talking about.. and sure enough he saw Ameliah there with Logan. Mins spoke to Ella asking her if she needed anything. What had it been about her red face that had made him all weird as Minnie said he was. He then pushed that thought out of his head "Yeah I see her.. probably just talking .. nothing more." he said as he watched Ameliah and Logan.. Logan had better stick to one girl.. or he would end up more confused than ever .. just like Harvey himself had been before summer last year. It was easier that way.

"Oh well that's not good. It's good you get along in front of Tay at least." she tried to reassure him. "Plus you are the one dating her, right, so you should have nothing to worry about unless you think she likes him."

"She better be" Minerva said still looking at them. All Ella needed to do was give the word and Minerva would put some nice warts on that girls face or something. She was over just changing hair, it was time to up the spells a bit. She didn't need magic either though she could tip the girl off the bench if needed. Min give her a chance, she thought to herself. Without thinking she leaned her head onto Harvey's shoulder. "I'm getting a bit sleepy." she yawned. Where did Alyssa run off to she thought, she hadn't changed her hair yet for her.

Damon smiled, "Plan's? I don't make plans because my summer's just consist of me sitting in my room writing poetry and this year, going to some fancy dinner with the family... Though I can't even recall what day it's on." He looked at her, "Well, by genes..." He lifted his black hair to reveal the red underneath, "I'm irish; but I was raised in London; and now, I'm in Scotland. Not even an hour away from Taylor."

Minerva smiled "Well if you feel like making plans and want to have a friend owl me. I don't know what I will be up to. I left part of this year, because my family was in a bad accident and didn't make it. So now I'm stuck in between my grandparents and my cousin who until now I thought was a kidnapping bad guy. So it's a bit complicated." she smiled as he showed her his red hair. "I like this look by the way. If you would have met me last term you would have seen a bookworm brown haired bubbly girl." she smiled "beginning of this term a scared to death blonde from bad things that went on this summer. Now well" she pointed to the rainbow hair and the snake bites. "I have decided I needed a change in style and maybe personality." she shrugged she didn't know what she wanted to be honest. "but no matter I will probably be traveling a bit with my cousin, but will be in London with my grandparents as well. I was hoping to go back over to the States to see friends and family, but now I don't know if I will ever get back to my real home." she looked down not knowing why she said all of this to him.

Harvey smiled as he looked over to Minnie to see her still looking at them.. well Ameliah had better be on her best behaviour.. she was being watched.. he too was watching them when he felt something lower itself onto his shoulder... he looked over and saw rainbow colored hair .. okay! Minnie's head was on his shoulder.. she was sleepy.. she hadnt done this in a long time.. "Oh!..er.. .er.. well.. you could er... have a little..er ... nap i..if you want" he said just barely getting the words out.. this was a big surprise.. unexpected.. so he moved in a little closer as he always had done in the past.. to make sure that she felt comfortable. "Are you comfortable?" he asked.. better to ask than assume.

"I'll be sure to do that." He nodded, "I can relate somewhat, I lost my mother just a few months ago. She... We still don't really know what happened there."

"Yes I'm fine, but no I will not be taking a nap right now. I'm going over a few spells in case I feel Ella needs one." not that she was jumping to conclusions or anything. "Harvs I'm glad we are still great friends."


Relate?! Someone could relate to her. She felt a bit of comfort knowing this. Finally someone who really understood what it was like. "It's just been rough. I was woken up in the middle of the night. My dad is actually a muggle. He was in the military. They were all in hiding from a trader who acted as his friend, but wasn't at all." she felt the anger "they were headed back to the states with my little brother when the accident happened." Minerva looked up at Damon. "I'm sorry about your mum. That's so weird no one knows." at least she didn't have to wonder she knew what happened. She felt herself without thinking give Damon a little hug and hurried and put her hands in her lap and whisper "sorry don't know what came over me."

Maxwell shook his head. "He has a plan to steal her from me, I know he does...He hasn't tried in a while." Maxwell looked around. "It's suspicious."

Minerva put her hand on Max's shoulder and looked at him with all seriousness. "If you is with you and is truly yours no plan will work. You have to trust her that she will stay. If you don't trust her or you feel she may go, then maybe your relationship isn't the one that is truly for you." she knew that might be harsh, but she was in a truth telling honest mood.

He nodded slowly. "Yeah, I can totally see that." he said, smiling a little as she pulled away. He nodded. "Same here." he said. "I like having someone who's sort of the same as me." he said.

Damon did slide back from her a little, "It's fine; but just a fair warning, it's not a good idea to touch me... I've got a major phobia of it... For some odd reason." He didn't know how to explain it.

Maxwell laughed a little bit. "I appreciate your honesty. But it's not that i don't trust her, i do. It's more i don't like how hard he tries to tear us apart." He said

Ok my dears.. Old and new I am headed to bed!!
 

"I'm sorry" she turned a bit red again. "It won't happen again." she looked down at the table embarrassed by her actions.



Minerva smiled "I can understand that. Well I don't know. I guess I don't have any good advice for that problem. Maybe find him a new girl or something." she wasn't sure if that would work, but anything was possible.

Harvey listened to Minnie and shook his head smiling as she said that she was going over a few spells for Ella "Well .. er.. think of ones that would not get you into tooo much trouble." he said.. wait! did he actually allow her to do that.. to a fellow claw.. well lets hope she doesnt act on it.. she then said something that made him feel heaps better "I am glad too.. and of course we are.. we will always be great friends.. we have been for the past 2years.. and we have many more to go.. so keep that in mind that we will always be great friends.. best friends.. the way we have always been." he said to her.. and very hesitantly.. he didnt know how she would react.. he put his arm around her.. the way he used to whenever she needed a friend.. he smiled replaying what she had just said in her mind over and over again.

"It's fine." He laughed, "It's nothing to be embarrassed about. At least you didn't end up on the ground bleeding like Taylor when she found out."

Aw man, Sophie missed so much! Oakey's rap... LOL!
 

Sophie wasn't expecting to get involved with any of their bets - she remembered really well the last one had almost made HER get in trouble! - but this one sounded... safer. "Okay, then!" She wondered if they would remember the bet when they came back from summer break. "Are you sure you'll remember it when we get back?"

"I'm good too!" She smiled up at her older friend. "We didn't do that Bertie Botts picknick we planned!" Although Sophie and her fellow Hufflepuff first years had done a Bertie Botts party in their dorm, she had made plans with Glenn and Angelina to do the same! "We should do it next term!"

Sophie giggled and celebrated with Logan. "No homework or studying! How nice does this sound??" So nice! And she would be able to hang out with her muggle friends! People! Exactly, Logan! "Oh, that's pretty much what I have in mind too! And helping my mum with her garden!" Or trying to convince her that Sophie could help her take care of the plants now. Heh.

Angelina mouth opened wide and she gasp, "We didn't!" Frowning she said, "Yeah we really sould do that next term!" She just has to remember that, it had to happen! "To bad I wasn't in your guys house though," Angelina said, slipping out what she was thinking. With that she turned a little red, embarassed.

Ameliah smiled. "Yeah. Turns out I do have a use for you after all." she smirked, feeling a bit like herself again.

She looked up to see Harvey looking at her and Logan weird. That's strange... She smiled. "Hey Harvey."

"If you have the time, can you do it now. With everyone leaving at the same time, I may not see you on the train. So here feel free to use me as your next experiment." Alyssa smiled at her friend.



Alyssa couldn't help but laugh when she heard Keefer talking with both Minerva and Oakey about Quidditch. "Hey Keefer. Are you already recruiting for new players for next term? Well I'm glad that you are. Minnie and Oakey over here are really good and I'm sure will be a good addition to the team next term."

"Oakey, I already expect that you'll beat me with our bet. From what I can tell you already have a surprise waiting for you. Would you OWL me to let me know what it is?. Hey maybe we can hang out sometime when we're both back in the States. What do you think? Are you game for some backyard Quidditch playing with my family and I?" Alyssa asked him.

Elise grinned and raised her hand for a high-five. "Me too!" she beamed. "Problem is that I keep confusing all those formulas and stuff. But if I remember those, it's usually fine!"

The summer? She hadn't really put much thought into that. "I'll probably go stay with my brother," she shrugged. "So I won't be doing much there." Oooooooooh! She was meeting up with people in Diagon Alley. Awesome. "Do I count as friend?" she asked, poking Glenn's shoulder.

She'd better be!

Laura giggled at Oakey. "You are suppost to let the girl win." Laura then decided to have some fun. "Don't worry I've got some great songs for next time and I'll beat you fair and square since you aren't acting like a gentleman would." Laura pouted.

Ella smiled, giving Logan's hand a squeeze before reaching for her goblet and taking a sip of water. "Ah yes, Peeta. He'll be good at chasing those spiders away! Where is the little guy anyway?"



Ella shrugged, giving the girl a small smile. "Don't worry about it. Friends are allowed to hug." Especially when they were so upset. "A-after you? That's not good." Frown. What was with all the angry aunts? "I'm sorry you're upset." She said sincerely, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.



Ella gave Minnie a reassuring smile. "I'm fine, just taking a moment to take it all in, you know?" The feast, her friends, going home. It was a lot. She continued to Watch Minerva as she seemed to keep an eye on Logan and Ameliah. Huh. Was there something she was missing? She looked at Minnie and Harvey curiously, wondering what was going on. "What it is?"





Ella laughed at this, raising her eyebrows. "Armageddon huh? Well I'll be sure to stay away from you if you ever do decide to belt out a song."

Maxwell chuckled a little. "Finding him a new girl sounds about as likely as Lafay being friendly." He said laughing a bit at his own joke, he enjoyed any made at the potions master's expense.

Minerva looked up and smiled at him. "I won't do anything to horrible, maybe some nice warts, or slugs coming out of her mouth." Minerva chuckled she probably wouldn't do it, but no one messes with her friends. "There sure has been a lot of people around tonight, its been kind of fun hasn't it?
Minerva smiled and pulled out her wand. "Sure no problem. I love this spell to be honest." she reached over and tapped Alyssa twice "Ristaris". Alyssa's bangs went to the red and purple she had asked about. "Is that what you wanted, or I could do something different." she smiled and put her wand back.

Minerva eyed Logan again, "Ok, but if you need anything let me know. I'm right here." Minerva kept a watchful eye, but she had been looking to suspicious because Ella questioned again. "Nothing dear just watching the umm.. other students and wondering what some of the drama is going on. Just again if you need anything say the words." she gave a grin to Ella hoping she didn't worry her to much.

"Ok if you say so." Minerva still felt bad. "oh yeah I'm glad that didn't happen, because it probably would have ended worse. I am a bit of a hot head and if someone made me bleed, well." she gave a small playful grin. "Anyway I won't do it again."

Minerva chuckled a bit. "Lafay is not that bad actually. She is one of my favorite teachers. I always think its kind of fun to see her get mad at the kids not doing what they are suppose to." Her new friends didn't know how much of a bookworm she was before, maybe she shouldn't have said that. "But I do know what you mean." she laughed again.

Maxwell laughed a little. "Well, i used to think it was because i was a Gryffindor but now i think she's just mean." He laughed a little. "She wasn't so mean when my friend slipped a potion in her tea." He said wishing he could have seen Ariana do it.
