Hufflepuff House Table by Alyssa Potter (FireboltAvis88) The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear. |
Alyssa sat at the Hufflepuff House table. So much had happened this term. Her detention at the beginning of the year, which she would never EVER forget. But there were other things she would never EVER forget too. Playing in the winning Quidditch team and helping Hufflepuff win it back. Playing in the Gobstones Club and helping win that cup again after 13 years. Then of course the House Cup. They had also won that. HUFFLEPUFF were the TRIPLE CUP CHAMPIONS this term and that was something to be proud of. But not being one to gloat or to poke fun at the other houses, Alyssa just sat there and thought about the people that she was going to have to say goodbye this term. Last term was hard. She had to say goodbye to Kita, one of her bestest friends in the whole wide world. But this term, she had to say goodbye to many more. People that she had met over the course of the term, including people from her own house, especially Treyen and Amelia. She was dreading that final moment. |
It felt like happiness was running through her veins. Sophie had had a brilliant first year at Hogwarts. Way better than she could have ever imagined. Being sorted into her mother's house, making so many amazing friends, helping out Hufflepuff win the so wanted House Cup, learning so many new things about all kinds of subjects and, most importantly, about life! She had grown as a student and as a person and didn't regret a single thing about this year; she would have done it all exactly the same! With the biggest smile on her face - pretty much like the one she had when she sat at the Hufflepuff table for the first time, almost a year ago - Sophie skipped her way to the merriest, most yellow table of the Great Hall! She wasn't thinking about the goodbyes, not really. She knew that just because some people were leaving, it didn't mean they wouldn't see each other ever again. They would! She was sure of that! |

She flounced down next to Sophie, her blonde curls sleek and shiny for perhaps the first time since the start of the year. "Hey! I haven't seen you around for a while." The badger grinned and looked at her first-year friend. |
Laura walked upto the Hufflepuff House Table, she couldn't believe it was the end of her first year at Hogwarts, she didn't want it to end, in one year time she would have to say goodbye to her fake brother Aaron which is something she wasn't looking forwards to, though at least she'd have Zhenya until the end of her 6th year, she was glad she had meet Zhenya and she wanted to say goodbye to her and speak to her before they left for home. Laura didn't know if she wanted to go home now, at the start of the term she wanted to but well she hadn't spoken to her sister Lana since the fight in the owl tower, when they sent a letter to there mummy, saying that she was getting bored of calling mummy, mummy, she should be called mum, how shocked mum would be when she was called that. Laura sat down at the table and sighed, she was growing up, even though she didn't want to, Laura just wanted to stay a kid for ever but next year she would come back a year older and that would mean the Professor would expect them to behave more than they did when they were a first year. |
Evelyn took a seat at the house table. She just couldn't believe that she was going to enter her final year next term. That thought was scaring her..a lot. Yes, she was excited to go home but at the same time..she was going to miss Hogwarts. She knew that she'd joined the school only that term but it still..it felt like home. Yeah, that was a little weird. Evelyn was already looking forward to coming back next term..for the final time. Sigh. As much as she missed her old school and friends, she really loved Hogwarts. She sat there with a rather sad look on her face, going over all the great times she'd had in the past year. |

Nope. No sign of Ariadne, Gwendolyn told herself and as she turned around to return at her house table, somebody caught her eye. Oddly enough, it was one of the puffs. With a smirk on her face, the young Ravenclaw walked towards Laura. ‘Hello’, the girl even tried to smile, but only a smirk came out. Oh, she shouldn’t forget… ‘Congratulations!’ That was for all the puffs.There. That was nice enough. Right? Riiiight? ‘Umm… mind if I join you?’, Gwen asked the younger girl. She then turned her head for a second to look back at the Gryffindor house table, but immediately realized her friend wasn’t there. Ack. Great, Gwen thought and tried not to roll her eyes. As she looked back at the puffs, the third year spotted one of the people she had met this year. ‘Hi’, she said as she looked at Evelyn. ‘How are you?’ Maybe it was simply the fact that she was sitting at the Hufflepuff table, but Gwen felt like being nice… at least for now. Odd. |

Laura smiled at Gwen and decided to let her join her. "How are you today Gwen and of course you can join me." |
To all my fellow badgers! xD This was it. This was goodbye.Renesmee couldn't believe it a whole long year had gone by and next year would be her fourth year, which meant she would have way more work then this year she grimaced at the thought and then shoved it out her mind. This was no time to be thinking about that, now it was time for farewells and it was time to enjoy her last meal with all the seventh years With a small smile on her face, the not so little Badger walked down to her House table. Her smile was just a mask though, because truly she wasn't happy about leaving even if it did mean being at home again. To her Hogwarts was her home now, and to leave it would cause her terrible homesickness, but obviously she didn't have a choice. She'd surely be back next year and at least that way she had something to look forward to. Taking a seat, the red head kept her smile on. She scanned the room at first, wanting to see if she could find one of her best friends, but as she peered over at the Gryffindor table she couldn't spot neither of them. Instead she decided to stay where she was and she began to wait for a certain seventh year, that she was hoping she'd get to say goodbye to before he's awesomeness left this school. That boy of course was Mr. Headboy. She'd miss him like mad once he'd left and she'd already decided she was going to give the next set of prefects tons of trouble, you know just for the entertainment. Renesmee folded her arms and sat patiently as she continued to wait. |
All the Hufflepuffs <3 Ella walked over to the Hufflepuff house table with a definite spring in her step. The first year wore a wide smile on her face, Barnabus the yellow puff sitting happily on her shoulder. She spotted an empty seat near some friends and sat down, waving to them. "Hello guys!" She said cheerfully. It was strange, being here like this when in felt like just yesterday Ella had been sorted into Hufflepuff. In the beginning she had no idea if she'd even like the house and the people in it. Now...well they were family. It would be strange, not seeing them everyday. Summer definitely would be lonely without the chaos of the common room and gossip in the girls' dormitory. It made Ella feel a little sad. That feeling didn't last long, though. Hufflepuff had reason to celebrate, many actually. They had kicked-erm-bottom this term! |
Sophie was looking around, waiting for some of her friends to arrive. She stared at the beautiful ceiling for a while. She had never wondered how it was charmed to look like the sky outside. Maybe she could find that out reading books about Hogwarts? Or just ask her dad, it souded simpler. Quote:

Clearly, for a Head Boy whose House has won all three Cups this year...he should be incredibly excited to be here, right? Well, not exactly, the moment was rather bittersweet and it had taken him forever to come. His things were already packed but he insisting on checking everything three times, in slow motion too. It was...difficult. Knowing you weren't coming back. Either way, he made it to the Great Hall and took a seat close to Eve. As inconspicuously as possible. His eyes taking everything in, for one last time. Actually, doing that made him feel better, much better. And knowing they had a Quidditch Cup in their hands made him smile even more. So, good thing he did come down here, he was slowly regaining his usual mood. A happy one. |
Minerva walked in with a great hall. Maybe with her new hair she wouldn't be recognized. She sat down at the puff table and looked around. So puff won all three this year. That was awesome. She couldn't help but smile at this, but soon came a frown. She was suppose to have helped in all that but didn't. She didn't feel much for celebrating. She was just so excited to be done with this dreaded year. She slumped at the table hopping to be just invisible the rest of the night. |
SPOILER!!: Goodbye Head Boy The one person Alyssa was waiting to show up finally did. She immediately jumped up and ran to Treyen. She stuck out her hand."Well Treyen. I guess it's time to say goodbye and wish you all the best. I want to say that it has been an honor being on the same Quidditch team with you and especially being in the same house." Alyssa was intending to make this goodbye proper and formal without breaking down but when she looked up Treyen and realized that she would not be seeing him again, she started tearing up. "I'm sorry. I told myself that I wasn't going to do this, but I am REALLY going to miss you Treyen. " Alyssa apologized before leaning forward and giving him a great big hug. |
Ellie would like to tell Treyen, "Too bad, I wanna see my boyfriend. HMPH" Quote:
The hand not holding her wand was very noticeably out of sight, behind her back, twirling his other present between its fingers. She let the package down in front of the Head Boy, and very cautiously caught up. Her means of greeting was a squeeze on the shoulder and a kiss on the cheek. "I'd prefer it if you didn't open that until you're back in your common room." Or otherwise far away from her. "It was bad enough having it wrapped and locked in my trunk since Christmas." Nightmare bad. Anyway, "How're you?" She couldn't imagine Treyen being too great. It was his last night here, after all. And he actually liked Hogwarts, for whatever reason. He willingly spent Christmas here, for Merlin's sake. ....Oh, hi, Alyssa. Ellie smiled at the younger girl. ...She probably wasn't helping. |
Trey and Ellie toooo ^ ^ Quote:
She saw Trey sit next to her and he honestly looked like didn't want to be there at all which brought a frown to her face. "Hey, you okay..." And, she stopped talking when she saw Ellie. Er, yeah. She gave the sixth year a smile before she turned away. She should probably just leave them alone. |
Waves at Ellie. Misses Aaron :( SPOILER!!: Lovely Ellie Alyssa released Treyen from her bone crunching hug when she saw Treyen's girlfriend step up. "Hi Ellie. I'm sorry for hugging him. But he's like a big brother to me, and it's going to be hard knowing that I won't see him next year." Alyssa belatedly realized what she had just said. It would be even harder for Ellie since she wouldn't be graduating until next term. "Anyway, I guess I should stop hugging everybody's boyfriend and go look for mine. I wonder where Aaron has disappeared to." Alyssa smiled at Ellie before she went off looking for the elusive Aaron Roberts. |
Eve too. Near the end. Quote:
Why was Lyssie offering her hand for a shake, eh? They'd known each other a lot longer for a good-bye handshake. He did shake it, but only because he was in a dazed state the moment she started to talk. And talk. And...what was she saying? She was talking too fast for him to understand a word other than Quidditch. The Head Boy smiled, because Quidditch was always a good word to hear, right? Yes. But then tears were forming and he blinked. And he got hugged. "There's no need for tears, okay? And I'm going to miss you too. Everyone, actually." It had been amazing to play Quidditch with Lyssie too, but he thought it was a very random thing to say, considering she'd said nothing of the like, or he failed to listen. He did return the hug, and kissed her cheek, "Thank you." For being such a wonderful Hufflepuff. And helping them get those three Cups this term. Text Cut: Ellie. ^^ There was one thing he wasn't expecting to see, though, and that would be his girlfriend near the Hufflepuff table. There was a smile on his face that could definitely be wider, but simply wasn't for obvious reasons. He raised his eyebrow at the box she oh-so-reluctantly brought along. Was that a gift? It seemed like it was...and he wasn't allowed to open it right now? He could deal with that, actually, because many things were going through his mind right now and he'd much rather do that in the comfort of his Common Room. So, he nodded, "I will." And the part where you said 'thank you', Lockhart? It was left unsaid, apparently, but you have to admit that this was a very weird way of giving someone a present. And how was he? "I'm...," not sure, but better than he expected, Ellie wasn't helping, "I'm okay." He said, looking both at Eve and Ellie. After all, his Hufflepuff friend was going to ask that, no? If she'd finished her sentence, that is. |
Text Cut: Eve, Alyssa, and Treyen "Hi, Eve," Ellie waved. Did she not greet her before? Whoops. We'll blame the enormous, scary, book distracting her. As for Alyssa, the Ravenclaws eyebrows went up. "You don't have to apologize for hugging him," she said with a small laugh. No, really. Ellie couldn't care less. In this situation especially, though she shouldn't mind in any. But, if Alyssa was leaving to...WHAT? Her own boyfriend? She was far too young. But that wasn't any of Ellie's business, was it? She didn't know Alyssa well enough to reprimand her. Right. Ellie grinned at Treyen. "I did pick it out, though. Even if Mum actually...handled it and...wrapped it..." Mhm. Because she hadn't the guts to get near enough. It was the thought that counted, however, wasn't it? Not who wrapped it. "Thought you might like it." After all, he'd done Shakespeare when he visited WADA. It might come in handy next year. He was okay. She kissed his cheek again. Liar. "I have something else." She jerked her elbow to draw attention to that hand. The hidden one. "It's not wrapped or anything but..." But... "Remember when Reyn was teaching about tarot cards?" Blast from the past. "And I wasn't at all pleased about the card called 'Death'?" She was very worried about it, actually. "And you said that it doesn't necessarily mean 'death'. That it can just mean 'the end'. And that good things often come from endings." Like Fletcher coming out of the cave. That was the example he'd used. "So..." Ellie pulled the card from behind her back. "I just want you to remember that." Good things were coming from this ending, too. |
To Treyen and anyone else Oakey got to his house table all smiles, there was an open spot across the table close to where Treyen was sitting. To say that Oakey Admired Treyen was an Understatement, Someday He thought I'm gonna have girls crying and swooning over me when I leave Hogwarts. He waited a moment for Treyen to detach himself from an over-emotional Alyssa. Hey Treyen, Oakey said trying to get the Head boy's attention. How're you doing? He said this instead of |
And anyone else. ^_^ One year had gone by. One whole year! Alec ruffled his hair as he entered the Great Hall and made his way towards the Hufflepuff table. It would be weird to be going back home after the short year he had had at the huge castle. But he got to see his Dad again, which would make things better. And he had a LOT of things to tell his Dad about! Like about Quidditch and winning the Trophy. And the House Cup, which he hadn't contributed to much. And Gobstones! They won that too. All these tophies and it was only his first year. He had six more amazing years left. Great! Alec made his way along the table and sat down in an empty seat. His eyes wandered up and over towards the Gryffindor table. The familiar flock of brown hair wasn't there... so he could just stay with the badgers. Yeah. He could stay and talk to anyone who'd want to talk to a soon-to-be second year. SPOILER!!: Because he wants to say 'bye' to the Head Boy Alec blinked. Unless he was mistaken, the boy was leaving wasn't he? He was the Head Boy and he was in his last year at Hogwarts. That must be... sad. Knowing that you'll never come back again. But he had the perfect thing to make him feel better! If he wanted it. So Alec got up and walked over towards the older boy, his hands fiddling with something in his robes. His eyes shot towards the girls around the boy and he... blinked some more. Ellie. No, he wouldn't be scared of the redheaded Captain. He was here to say bye to Treyen, that's all. "Treyen?" No Mister! "Erm... I wanted to say bye. We'll miss you here... And good luck!" What exactly was Treyen going to do after Hogwarts? Wait, what did anyone do after Hogwarts. ... Would his Dad know? "And I have something for you, erm..." At this, he brought out the bag from his pockets and held it out to Treyen. "You know, just in case you feel sad. And thank you, for everything." |
Text Cut: Minnie? Harvey walked into the Great Hall.. he was kind of hoping to see Mins before the term ended as he may not see her over the summer holidays. He walked over the Hufflepuff table.. his usual hang out with his friends.. he looked around and didnt see her anywhere.. he looked up and down the table but didnt see her.. he was disappointed.. he really hoped he would see her one last time.. he then saw a girl slumped at the table.. well he had nothing better to do.. why not help someone.. so he went over to the girl whose face he could not see "Hey.. er.. are you ok? my name is Harvey.. whats yours?" he asked nervousily.. he was always nervous when meeting new people. |

To alll you Treyen people <3 I can't believe he's leaving! ): Quote:
Whether he was sad or not, wasn't too important to her right now. What was important, was that she got a chance to say good bye to him. He was after all a good friend, and a good Head Boy too, the ones after him had big footprints to follow. Surely they'd struggle. So Keeping her smile, the not so little red head walked over to Mr. Headboy, he's girlfriend, Lyssie, Oakey and a girl she hadn't met yet. "Ummm..Heyy." she said with a small smile. "I erm..came tosaygoodbye." she mumbled her last bit of words as thats what she did when she said things she didn't really want to. |
Text Cut: Minnie Harvey was surprised to hear her call him Watson and finally recognised her as his best friend Mins.. he was VERY shocked to see her hair and just listened and looked at her he didnt know what to do or say.. but he got himself out of the shock and sat down next to her. "No I dont need anything.. just wanted to see you,, my best friend since this may be the last time I see you.. since you may have plans over the summer" he paused here.. "No.. no parchments.. no first years.. just me." he then looked at her hair "Er.. nice look.. you really love that Transfiguration spell.. I see you are using it again" he chuckled as he remembered her using that spell on him.. this made him smile.. fun times. |
