"OH!! I know!!" Sophie suddenly said excitedly. "When we were going to charms class, I saw there was an armor room or something on the third floor! That should be interesting! And there was also a trophy room!"

Jessie clapped her hands together. "Ooo! That's a great idea!"

Carigan stood up, place one hand on her heart and the other triumphantly in the air. We can see the armor of the brave and the trophies of the champions!" She said seriously and straight faced just before bursting into laughter.

Isobel was in the mood for meeting new people. She loved people, of any sort, and any age, so her favorite time was the start of the term. There were a bunch of ickle firsties, and of course some transfers too. Isobel figured that the Hufflepuff table was a great place to meet new Hufflepuffs; her favorite kind of people. Nobody tell her brother that she said that.

ANYWAY...Isobel made her way down to the Great Hall and to the Hufflepuff table, where she did indeed see some new Hufflepuffs. And by new she meant that she had never seen them before. Isobel sat down randomly by a group of people she had never met. "Hello."

Another huffie approached their little group and Carigan looked up. "Hello there! My name is Carigan! WHat's yours? How are you? What's your favourite colour?" She asked all at once.

Sophie smiled when the others liked her idea. She giggled when Carigan went all freaky again, like on their first day. This girl was just wee-urd! And she liked that! "Let's go then!"

She heard a voice behind her and turned her head around to see a much older girl talking and sitting by them. "Oh, hello!" she said smiling at the girl she had never seen before. "I'm Sophie!"

Carigan nodded. "I would love to see them!" SHe said, then giggled once more. "Are you guys trying out for quidditch? I'm trying out... I used to play with my parents and sister all the time last year. I didn't have a real broom... just a toy quidditch broom, but I was pretty good on it!" Carigan said.

Gwen overheard Sophie, Jessie and Carigan as she walked past and then joined them.
"Did I hear 'Trophy Room'?" asked Gwen, grinning with curiosity. Then she whispered, "I've also heard there's a Spirit Room on the fifth floor."

Gwen's eyes widened and she clapped her hands together.
"Ooh, yes, I'd really love to be on the Quidditch team! When I was smaller I also had a toy broom, but in the last few years I've been practicing real flying with my older brother."

"A spirit room?" Carigan asked shocked and wide eyes, then fel back into the quidditch conversation. "Well, I have been practicing real flying too, but we hadn't played quiditch on a broom. I was at the first tryout session! I think I did okay... I mean maybe I might not end up on the team but it was fun!" Carigan said. She was looking forward to the next tryout.

"Yeah, I also went to the tryout. I could have done better, though," Gwen nodded slightly as she said it, as if agreeing with herself. "I was nervous. But still, it was great fun flying around with everyone," Gwen smiled. She'd loved zooming around the Quidditch Pitch, passing and throwing the Quaffle, and couldn't wait to do it again.

Isobel smiled at the first ickle firstie who talked to her. In Isobel's opinion, the girl must have eaten like an entire bag of sugar or something. Okay, maybe that was a little extreme but she had just asked Isobel a bunch of questions at once, and even asked what her favorite color was. She reminded Isobel of Jaymie. "Hello Carigan," Isobel said cheerfully. "My name is Isobel; I'm a sixth year." She stopped just short of adding Hufflepuff, because that was pretty obvious. "Um...I guess my favorite color would be yellow; what's yours?"

Isobel turned to the other girl who was talking to her, and she assumed that she was also a first year. "Nice to meet you Sophie," Isobel said with a smile. "I'm Isobel; sixth year." The next question was meant for both girls. "Are either of you going to try out for the Quidditch team?"

"It was so much fun! But, I think maybe I want to try being something other than chaser next time." Carigan told Gwen.

"Hmmm.... I don't know. I do like yellow... but I'll say orange! It;s so energetic!" Carigan replied happily. "Yes! I already tried out once, I think I'l be going to the sunday tryout too!" Carigan smiled. She had enjoyed trying out for quidditch very much.

Isobel smiled at the girl. "I like orange too; but only some oranges. And by that, I mean that I like some shades. Some shades of orange are just gross." Isobel wrinkled her nose. Some shades of orange were cool though.

Isobel smiled sadly. "Quidditch is great," she said, trying to sound cheerful. "Have you ever played before?" With first years, you never knew. Some came from pureblood or halfblood families and had played with their siblings or something, and others were muggleborns and had never heard of the sport before. "I played every year so far since I came here. I was captain in the fourth year; but I was way too busy and overwhelmed last year." Kita was awesome; Isobel was super glad that she had gotten the badge after she had given it up. "I would play this year; but I can only make it to one tryout." Hence her sad smile, and probably sad tone. Isobel was trying to look on the bright side though; she could still cheer her team on.

Gustav grabbed a plate for him and his new friend, Jezz.
"We can sit here...or is there a rule we can't sit in a different house table?"he asked with a light chuckle. Oh, he looked around for his favourite food, ham,brisket and chicken drumsticks. Gustav was always the meat eater, he wondered if Jezz was a vegetarian...
"What do you want to eat?"he asked her.

"I don't think there is a rule against it," Jezz said smiling." But if there is it'll be worth losing points to sit, talk, and eat with you." Plus if they had a rule on that then she was going to be pretty angry.

She looked at all the food. "I love chicken and ham." She grabbed to cups and added, "I also like broccoli and mashed potatoes. What do you want to drink?" She poured herself some pumpkin juice in her cup and smiled. Ah, the joys of food and drink.

Gustav face reddened when Jezz said that.
"Then I'll do the same as well...I'm not to concern about housepoints but don't tell my housemates that, or I would be frown upon..."he said and laughed.

Seemed like Jezz liked the same things he loved to eat on occasion.
"That's good, put more on your plate then..."he teased as he watched her grabbed very little portions. He surveyed the drinks available at the table.
"Ah..Grape juice please...thank you,"he said. He grabbed a chocolate-covered apple too.
"Do you want some snacks or desserts?"he asked.

Jezz blushed and teased back with, "Then don't tell my housemates."

She laughed and added some more of the food and poured him some grape juice, "Here you go." She handed him his own cup. She looked at the desserts then looked at the chocolate covered apple on his plate. "I actually think I'll have a chocolate covered apple as well," Jezz said reaching for one, and finding it was just out of reach.

Gustav grinned and took the cup from her.
"Thank you..."he replied. He saw her reaching for a chocolate covered apple too and she didn't seem to be able to reach it. He laughed, amused at her action.
He put down his plate and reached for another chocolate covered apple for her since his arms were much longer. He held it out for her and put it on an extra plate.
"There...you can have this,"he offered. He sat down across from her and smiled at her.
"Finally, lets eat!"he told her as he grabbed his fork and dining knife.

Jezz smiled and said, "Well, maybe I'll go through a growth spurt and I won't need so much help." She took the chocolate covered apple from him. "Thanks." She sat down and looked at all the food in her plate. So good. "Let's eat," she agreed but right before she took her first bite she took a sip of her drink, then began to eat.

"So I'm trying to think about things we have yet to discuss," she said in between bites.

"You can ask me if you need assistance, I don't mind at all really..and I don't think you need any growth spurt..not sure what that is...but back home I never really do much of anything for myself because they won't allow me too...I keep on telling them off that I can do it myself... it be so good if I am at your disposal,"he grinned.

He chuckled," What sort of things we have yet to discuss?" he asked as he took a bite of his ham.
"I can tell you more about Romania and my family if you like...but it might bore you, "he said and took more bites off his mash potatoes.The food were simply delicious here.

As she saw Jezz, she waved at her and said 'Holla!!'

"A growth spurt is when you grow a lot at one time," Jezz said smiling, "but until I do go through one of those I will accept your offer to help me."

"Well if you want to talk about Romania and your family you can. I'm a really good listener." Jezz would rather hear about his family than to even begin to think about hers.

"Hi, I'm Gwen," she introduced herself to the friendly sixth year who had come over to them. "I tried out for the Quidditch team, though I wasn't very good. I kept making the silliest mistakes. I think I'll practice and try out again next year."

Minerva came in the great hall and sat down at the puff table. She felt awkward alone, but her little group had fallen apart. Most of her support was mad at her and the term was showing how bad it was as well. Her brain was all over the place. The thoughts of Harvey and Justin kept going back and forth. She sighed an picked up some pancakes to put on her plate.

Harvey came into the Great Hall and was about to walk to the Puff table as was his norm but he couldnt take a step towards it knowing what had happened.. as he was turning away he looked back and saw someone.. he knew who it was instantly.. no matter what happened she still look lonely on the table there.. and he HAD promised her that no matter what happened he would be there for her.. but could he still do it knowing what had happened between her and ..... Justin.. he took a deep breath and walked to the table.. he decided whether to sit opposite or next to her.. he opted next to her.. but keeping a little distance between them.. "So .. how you been? Medication working?" he said turning to look at her..
