Oooh. Someone was coming towards them already! Amelia smiled as she adjusted the box a little in her lap. The Puffs liked bouncing around a lot. D: "Hello there. You can hold one. You can even keep one." That was right... FREE PYGMY PUFFS!

And it seemed like her last remark had summoned Addy since she practically popped up out of nowhere. "Addy!" She was happy now, because Addy was one of her greatest friends. "Of course you can! Would Justin want one too?" Or not? She didn't know if boys liked them really.

KEEP ONE? SHE COULD KEEP ONE? OH MERLIN! YES! "Wow... thanks!" she looked into the box and, after deciding she didn't want to choose, put her hand in and chose one at random. One that promptly curled up in her hand and fell asleep...

For about three seconds before jumping up at bouncing in her hands a bit. "Oh he's adorable!" she squeaked. "Are you sure I can keep him?" she asked, her brain already ticking and whirring on the search for a name.

Addy grinned and looked at the cute little Pygmy Puffs. "YAY! And yes, Justin wants one" she nodded. "So that means I can have two? One for me and one for Justin?" she asked eagerly, eyeing the two smallest ones. They were the cutest.

Amelia giggled as the girl seemed amazed that she could keep one. "Of course I am sure!" And it seemed that she had already picked the one that she wanted to keep. "They're only a few days old," she explained now. They were especially young.

"Of course you can take two, Addy." Noticing that her friend had her eye on two specific ones, she reached on an carefully took them out. "Here you go." Hopefully they would both like their new pet.

Okay so she could definitely keep it. Suddenly, a name came to her as she looked at the little ball of fluff. "Giacomo." she said to it softly. She remembered the name from some old stories about a guy called Giacomo Casanova... her father liked to use it to tease her brother sometimes. She was going to have to find out about those stories some day... "You are such a cute little Jackie." she said to it, shortening the name already.

"What do you think?" she said to Amelia. "Giacomo? Good name?" Whether she liked it or not there was no way of changing it now - it had become irrevocably tied to the pygmy puff in Aurora's mind - but it was always nice to have a second opinion on these things, right? Right.

Ellie had word that there were free pygmy puffs in Amelia's possession. And she NEEDED one. Because they were fluffy and adorable. Skipping into the Great Hall, Ellie spotted her best friend at the Hufflepuff table and made her way over.

"Hey Mia!" Ellie greeted cheerfully and hopped onto the bench next to her. Leaning over, Ellie peeked into the box on Amelia's lap and saw all the little puff balls. "Aww, they're so cute!" Ellie squealed a little. She wanted to cuddle one!

Addy's eyes grew wide. "Thank you soooooo much Mia. Like, really. I love you Miaaaaaa" she sqeaked, giggling at the two Puffs as they squeaked and bounced in her hands. She was already going over names in her head. She wanted something music related.

Amelia was honestly trying to place this girl as they talked. She knew her from somewhere... but... D: D: She felt so bad until she remembered. It was Twitter. And classes. Aurora.

"I like it, Aurora." She nodded. It was certainly an unique name. :33 "And if you know anyone else who might want one, spread the world." She had a dozen or so of these things!

Aww. She smiled at Addy now. "I love you too!" She was glad to make the Slytherin happy, and would have hugged her if she could.

Speaking of friends... heeey, best friend. hehehe Things were getting even better now. "Ellie!" Jelly "You can have one if you want." She had noticed the gasp. "And Dallin too if he wants one." No idea if he was a Pygmy Puff person or not.

She could have one? Meep. "Can I really? They're adorable!" They were smaller than her hand. And Ellie had small hands too. She snorted. "Dallin and I are sharing one. He's not much of a pygmy puff person." Ellie was pretty sure he liked dogs and that was about it. Too bad dogs weren't allowed at Hogwarts, because Dallin would certainly have one.

Addy giggled. She smiled as the two Puffs curled up on her hands. "Treble-" she held up hers. -And Clef" she held up the one she was giving to Justin. Treble and Clef. Treble clef :33 "Whatchu think?" she asked.

She looked up and saw someone. Someone familiar. Her name was Ellie, right? Dallin's girlfriend. Yeah. "Hi Ellie" she grinned, rubbing her cheek gently against the two Puffs of hers she had.

Ellie's head popped up when she heard her name. She saw the familiar red-head holding two pygmy puffs up to her face. Ellie laughed quietly and wiggled her fingers as a wave. "Hey Addy." Ellie smiled at the girl. "Cute puffs you got there."

Now Ellie needed to pick one out. She searched the box and looked around at all the little fluff balls. Ellie gasped a little when she saw a teal one. Her favorite color! Reaching inside, she grabbed the little guy and held him in her hands. "You're so cuuuute!" She squealed a little bit. Why hadn't she had a pygmy puff before?

Laura walked to the Great Hall. She looked around for someone she knew.'Hey Minnie,' Laura said, as she spotted Minerva. She walked up to her and sat down next to her. 'What's up? Haven't seen you around for long,' she said.

Aurora giggled as Giacomo rolled over in her hands; oh he was so CUTE! "I will do! Definitely." she replied... and then her stomach rumbled and she remembered why she had come into the great hall to begin with. "I'm going to go and get some food." she said, hugging the pygmy puff to her chest. "Thanks so much for Jackie!" And, with that, she smiled and left.

Addy grinned at Ellie. "Thank you" she grinned, giggling as Treble, the purple-ish one, hers, roled around in her hand.

Addy grinned at the teal Puff Ellie had picked out. "That one's adorable" she nodded.

Minerva looked up and smiled when she saw Laura. "Hello. Oh yeah I haven't been hear actually. I had a family thing that forced me to leave for a few months." she had lost concentration on the napkin and it fell to the ground. She had missed doing magic. "How have you been? Are you still having the bad dreams?"

Scratch, scratch.

Damien hated these blasted uniforms. Couldn't wizards make fabric that wasn't so itchy?? Every step he took his legs, arms -- even his feet itched!

Scratch, scratch.

Maybe a strong cup of coffee would distract him well enough. The Hufflepuff wandered in the direction of his house table and sat down with another scratch of his forearm before drawing out his wand to conjure a large mug of steaming coffee. The aroma immediately made him forget and he took a small sip.

Daisy had been happily eating some crumpets and sipping at a cup of tea with Tennessee over at the Gryffindor table when she had seen Damien come into the hall. She had excused herself from her younger friend and carrying her teacup over to the Hufflepuff table - cornered Damien.

"You've been avoiding me again," she said sitting down next to him, bumping his arm lightly as he took a sip of his drink.

Sniff. Sniff....

Something smelt odd. Perhaps it was Hufflepuff house's choice of food? She had never actually sat down at this table before....

He wasn't paying attention to his surroundings (as per usual), and as he lifted up his mug for another sip of his hot (key word, being HOT) coffee, a small nudge on his arm caused him to drip some of the (HOT) liquid down his chin and neck. Damien grumbled under his breath and glanced in the direction of Daisy.

"You know," he began, dabbing his chin with the sleeve of his robe, "it's not so much the fact that I'm avoiding you. I'm just trying to keep myself safe. Last time you confronted me, you poked me so hard, a bruise formed in the middle of my chest and stayed there the rest of the month."

He pointed to his coffee mug then. "This time it's a scar from a burn."

'Oh!! What happened?,' Laura asked, obviously concerned for her friend. 'Oh!! I'm good..Gotten over with those nightmares..,' she said.

Daisy waved her hand in a ‘pish-posh’ manner giving him a good-humored look over the lip of her teacup as she took sip of her tea. When she put the cup down on the table. “You’ll heal…Are those butternut crumpets?” She asked indicating the plate on the other side of Damien.

Sniff…sniff…what is that? she thought. The smell was steadily growing worse.

She leaned forward and picked up a plate of what was obviously gooseberry tarts and sniffed them. Nope…not them.

Minerva wasn't wanting to get into it, but didn't want to lie either. "My family was in a bad accident and didn't make it. I had to go to services and help my grandparents clean out our house and move in with them." she shrugged. "I'm glad the nightmares went away." she picked at some bread in front of her. "So what else has been going on since I have seen you?"

Laura was shocked ! Oh! She shouldn't have asked! She let out a deep sigh. 'Umm..well..I'm sorry I asked..And I'm sorry to know..,' she trailed away, not able to look at Minerva. She didn't know what to say.

Boy -- she isn't much for sympathy, is she? Even so, the boy had to smile; He'd been looking forward to running into Daisy. Even if that meant being scalded by a meaningless cup of coffee. Crumpets? Damien glanced in the direction where his Gryffindor counterpart had indicated. He shrugged, "I wouldn't know the difference either way," he said grabbing the plate and handing it over to her.

The distinguished sound of Daisy's nose was hard to miss. No dainty sniff here -- the girl might as well gulp down air through her nostrils if that were possible. "What're you on about?" he then asked, Irish accent clearly detectable.

"Something," she put the plate of gooseberry tarts back on the table. "Smells - off..."

She took the plate of crumpets from Damien and sniffed them. Nope it wasn't them, but she was right they were butternut. She picked one up and placed it on the rim of her saucer. "Can't you smell it?" she asked him, sniffing the air around her.

Smells off?

Damien was confused, raising an eyebrow in Daisy's direction. "Don't smell anything," he said glancing on either side of him to see if any other students had the same reaction to whatever odor offended her sense of smell.

Rolling his shoulders, the Hufflepuff rolled up the sleeves of his sweater, itching his arms to much to the point of his pale skin turning slightly red. "These unifroms are mad," he mumbled more so to himself but loud enough for Daisy to hear.
