Ella attempted to stop the smile that was forming on her lips, sensing Logan was full of it. She bit her lip, watching him wave his hand. "Glad you're alright." She nudged his shoulders, not able to stop the giggling this time.

Logan nodded slowly. He was sure she had heard his giggle...maybe. He needed to stop giggling. He was a man! Well not really. But basically! Well...well sorta. Not exactly but still. He should NOT be giggling. He looked at Ella as she nudged his shoulder. He rolled his eyes and laughed.

Justin smiled as she had hinted that her and Logan were dating. " Well, thats's great , Ella. Yeah I've been busy as well with homework and gobstones and my friends and theier quidditch matches. Ya know Minnie is playing this weekend. You two should sit with me and my gang at the match. What dio ya say? " Justin offered.
" I'm good , Mate. I see ya got yourself a girlfriend." Justin smiled as he raised his eyebrows.

Ella started to laugh too, enjoying Logan's embarrassment just a little bit. It was nothing to be ashamed of really, giggling. Though she wasn't a boy so she didn't really know how it felt for him. "We'll just pretend that didn't happen." she said, smirking.



Ella listened to Justin and dope smacked herself lightly in the head, remembering about gobstones. "Oh merlin, I forgot all about gobstones! Minnie asked if I'd play." She shrugged, feeling bad for bailing. She smiled again when the conversation turned to the quidditch match. "Yeah, I heard she made the team! I'm happy for her. I even made some Hufflepuff signs for the match!" She was bouncing excitedly now, so ready to go cheer for her housemates. "Thanks, it would be great sitting with you guys." Ella said, appreciative of Justin's offer. She really did enjoy Minnie and Justin and their friends. "What do you say Logan? Want to?"

Justin lit up when she said she would love to sit with him and Harvey and Amethyst. : Ya know I was on the house team last term as a first year.... I decided to take a year away and workout and practice. I plan to go out for the team again next term, " he smiled. " Yeah, come on Logan it'll be fun. "

Logan turned slightly red and nodded. "Er..yeah I uh..do.." he said smiling shyly and shifting in his seat a little.

Logan nodded. "Okay." he said, smiling and looking down at the table. He was randomly very tired for some reason. He made a mental note to catch up on sleep later.

"Hmm? Oh yeah I'd love to!" Logan replied with a smile. He then heard a loud screech of an owl and watched as it dropped something in front of him. "Oh...is this it?!" he whispered out loud as he tore open the package. He sighed with happiness. A (rather late) birthday gift from Emmy! She was so sweet. Although it was two months late..oh well. He pulled out some comic books from the package and his eyes widened. He grinned and flipped through them. He got three. One of Batman, one of Spiderman, and one of Captain America! He smiled and hugged them close to his chest.

Ella smiled at Justin, excited that he'd be trying out as well. "I want to try out so bad next term. I should have went for it this term but was too afraid to." She shrugged, still regretting the decision. "I'm getting better at flying though so I should be prepared next time."

Then Ella watched as a owl flew over them, dropping a package in front of Logan. She smiled, watching him opening it with excitement. "What's that?" she asked, curiously. She giggled, watching as he hugged the comics to his chest. He must really love comics, she thought.

Justin chuckled as he saw Logan blush when he said something about Logan and Ella. then a package was dropped into his lap and he got very excited about his gift. " what's that?.... " Just then he saw the boy hug some comic books to his chest.
" Well, then I look forward to trying out with you next term. I just figured that I needed to get in the best physical shape that i could before going back out for the teamm. I grew almost 5 inches over the summer. "

Logan looked at Ella, embarrased at himself hugging the comics. Ah well. "It's a gift from Emmy...some comics." he said, showing her.

"A birthday gift." Logan replied smiling. "Some muggle comics..." he said, showing Justin as well.

Ella nodded. She hadn't really thought about her physical shape...she did run though and that was good exercise. It built muscles and all the jazz. "Wow 5 inches! I'm never going to grow. I'll be short forever..." Ella said with a sigh.

Ella smiled at Logan, happy he had got a gift. Then she heard him tell Justin it was a birthday gift Why hadn't she known about his birthday!? She felt foolish for not asking him when his birthday was. Major girlfriend party foul. She looked at him wide eyed. "Y-your birthday? When was your birthday?"

"October 12th.." Logan replied, smiling at her.

Phew! Ella was relieved. His birthday had been all the way back towards the beginning of term, not this month or anything. Ella made a mental note to get him something anyway. "Ohhh alright, I'll remember that." She said, smiling. "Happy very late birthday, by the way. Cheers to Emmy and comics!" She held up her pumpkin juice in front of her.

"Okay. When's your birthday?" he asked. Then he laughed and held up his own pumpkin juice which he hadn't taken a sip out of yet. He raised it and chuckled. "Thanks!" he said as he took a sip of the pumpkin juice.

"My birthday? It's..." Ella blanked. When the heck is my birthday? Is this real life? Oh right..."It's September 10th." She said, smiling. Sheesh. Why had that been so hard? "You're welcome!"

"Alrighty then. Time to buy you a real late gift." Logan said laughing. Now...what to get her...he thought deeply about this. It had to be an amazing gift..

"You don't have to, Logan!" Ella said, laughing. She hadn't expected him to buy her a gift though she was thinking the same thing about him.

"Ahh, I do." Logan said laughing.

Ella shrugged, smiling. "Well I think this is our first disagreement." she said, laughing. "You win though." She said, holding up her arms in surrender. She grinned at him, lowering them again.

Annabelle needed a break from all the classes. She needed some food for energy. She took some yorkshire pudding, some pumpkin juice and some mashed potatoes and roast beef. It seemed like a good meal and she devoured it all. Then she found some sweets.

Violet sank into a seat at the table and took a sandwich and some pumkin juice. It didn't look like Ashley was at the Slytherin table, so she couldn't go to sit with him. It was a bit weird, Slytherin and Hufflepuff, friends. It seemed liked Ashley didn't want to be more that just friends, though. Even if Lilly, Rose and her wated it. Violet munched her sandwich, slowly, staring into space, and occasionaly casting a look at the Slytherin table. She had cupcakes!

Ella found an empty seat at her house table and sat down with a thud. She was feeling tired and a little sick at the moment and all she could think of to make her feel better was getting something delicious to eat. She reached for a glass and filled it with pumpkin juice, gulping the lovely liquid down quickly. She wiped her mouth with her sleeve and let out a happy sigh. So far, so good. Suddenly, she felt a sneeze coming on. "Aaaaaa-Aaaaa-Aaaaaa-Choooooo!" Ella flung her arm up so she could put her face in her elbow, not wanting to sneeze on anything or anyone, and the action caused her to knock over a container of pumpkin juice over the table and herself. "Oh merlin." She said, frowning.

Now that Pixie was all nice and clean from her fur being brushes out, Amelia decided to take her down to the Great Hall so that she could try to feed her Puff as well as get to know more about her.

Taking a seat at the table, she held Pixie in her hand directly in front of her face so that she could talk to her Puff. "We're going to eat dinner now and you're going to be a good girl and not climb into any food. Right, Pixie? The last thing she needed was for her pet to contaminate hers or anyone else's food. Plus that would definitely mean a bath later on tonight.

*squeak*

Message received loud and clear. Pixie was going to try to be a good girl.

"Awesome. No climbing in food, but I will give you some to try." Because the alternative of snot didn't seem good at all. That had to have been what she ate for the few months that she had her. Unless she foraged for other food. "I'm sorry I didn't get to know you sooner, Pixie. I've never had a Pygmy Puff before, and I really didn't know too much about you." Case in point the fact that she wasn't even positive that it was a girl. "I know that's not really an excuse though..."

Setting Pixie down and making sure that she didn't wander off, Amelia started placing food on her plate. "I'm not sure if Puffs like meat or not... so maybe you can try some mashed potato?"

She took another spoonful and placed it on the table top. "Well?" She watched Pixie eagerly and saw that she slowly started to eat some of it. "You you will eat mashed potato." That was good to know, but she wanted to see if there were other foods she also liked maybe even more.

he picked up a small piece of tomato and set it where the potato had been. "I hate these things, but you might like them..." Apparently not as the Puff looked at it with distaste -- or what she imagined what a Pygmy Puff's look of distaste to be. "I don't blame you."

*SQUEAK SQUEAK*

What else could she try to feed the Puff? She saw soup, but didn't really want to do that, because it was messy, and hot. Besides, she honestly had no idea how she'd be able to feed it to Pixie without dunking her into it. "That would be considered animal cruelty."

Eh, for the moment she'd stick to the mashed potato. She removed the tomato onto her plate "Here you go," she said as she got another spoonful and placed it down for Pixie to eat.

Alyssa sat down at the House Table to grab some breakfast. Nerfball immediately snuck his head out of her pocket and jumped onto the table. "So you're hungry too huh? Well I might as well feed you while we're both here. Hey I could finish up on the list that we started during class."Alyssa told Nerfball quickly pulling out the list that she and Taylor had created listing the kinds of food that a Pygmy Puff would eat.



"Okay let's see we have pie, pudding, jello, carrot and cookies here. Let's see whether you'll eat any of them." Alyssa quickly got up and cut a small piece of pie, scooped some pudding and jello into a saucer, grabbed a carrot stick and some butter cookies. She then placed a piece of pie in front of his nose to let him sniff it. He sniffed and sniffed and then his tongue grabbed it and rolled back into his mouth. He chewed for awhile before letting out a low "Squeek". "You want more? Okay let's try the pudding and jello." Alyssa scooped up some pudding and jello into a spoon and let Nerfball sniff it. Without a moment's hesitation, his tongue slurped it all up, and started squeeking again. "SQUEEK..Sssquueekk".

"Okay, okay. I know you want more food. We know you love pudding and jello, let's now see if you would like bit of carrot stick." Alyssa broke off a bit of carrot stick and let Nerfball sniff it. He stuck his tongue out and touched it, slowly exploring it's taste and texture before rolling his tongue around and bringing it back into his mouth. He chewed for a couple of minutes. "Yep, that's kind of hard to chew huh. But I guess since you're not spitting it out, that's a check on that too. What about cookies, Nerfball? Do you like them." This time Alyssa broke off a bit of the cookie and then smashed it into crumbs before giving it to Nerfball to eat. His tongue played around with the crumbs rolling it around and Alyssa was going to remove it from him, when his tongue quickly swept up all the crumbs and stuck it back into his mouth."SQuuuueeeekkk....squeeek."

"Okay cookies it is. Now what else do we have here. You definitely need to drink. So I'm going to give you some milk. I hope you like it. Drink it while I look for other things that you might like to eat." Keeping an eye on him as he drank from the saucer of milk, she quickly reached over and grabbed some raisin and breadcrumbs. She placed the breadcrumbs inside a small cup and the raisins on the table. Once Nerfball was done drinking, she carried him up on the table and let him sniff the food. Nerfball sniffed both food before taking a bite from first the raisin and then the breadcrumb. "I can definitely add those to the list now. I don't think I'll find any worms and rats here, but I do have paper. Let's see whether you'll eat that."

Alyssa tore a piece of parchment from her journal and rolled it into a ball and gave it to Nerfball trying to trick him into thinking that it was a ball of fruit. He bounced towards it and sniffed it. His tongue came out and explored it, before putting the rolled paper into it's mouth. "PFTHEW!!!" the rolled up paper came flying out of his mouth and flew across the room almost hitting another Hufflepuff student. "I'm sorry." Alyssa yelled over to the girl. "Okay we definitely know that you don't like paper. Okay let's finish up breakfast because I have classes attend, Nerfball." Alyssa told him feeding him more raisins before cleaning up the food scraps and putting it into her plate. She then checked off the food that he would eat on her list and scratched off the ones that he didn't.



"I'll see whether I can find any worms, grass or dead rats when I go visit the Sanctuary later on tomorrow." Alyssa told him. "But for now, back into my pocket you go, Nerfball," opening her pocket and letting him bounce back into it. Then she finished up her breakfast before picking up her bag and running off to class.

Sophie walked into the Great Hall with a smile on her face and her Pygmy Puff Lavender on her hands. She was having some great days at school and was happy she was able to finish all of her work. It was an awesome feeling.

Taking a seat, she put Lavender on the table next to her plate. No one would mind it, right? It was just a cute little Pygmy Puff! And it was - at least apparently - clean.

"Okay, Lavender, look at this feast!" Sophie gestured happily. "Now I'll know everything you like and don't like!" Saying that, she put some mashed potatoes, rice and meat. If the Pygmy Puff didn't eat any of those things, Sophie would. Heh. "Here you go, try the mashed potatoes first!" She offered it to the furry creature. It sniffed it, as usual, as then ate it fast. "Nice! It is good, isn't it, Lavender? Now try... this." She placed a small amount of rice in front of the Puff. It ate, but not a lot. "Right..." Sophie now looked at the meat. Then at the Pygmy Puff. Then back at the meat. "I guess it's too big for your mouth!"

Sophie sliced the meat and waited to see if Lavender would eat it. The Pygmy Puff just licked it, like it had done at first with the Chocolate Frog. "Maybe you need some more time." Meat was SO good! Lavender HAD to like it!

Sophie looked around. There was salad and dessert. Hm...

"Here, Lavender, try some lettuce!" She placed a leaf lettuce in front of it and watched as the Puff only sniffed it and looked away. "Not like a rabbit, aren't you? What about a tomato?" Lavender did eat it. "Nice! Good girl!" Sophie smiled while petting the Pygmy Puff.

She wasn't stuffing the Pygmy Puff with food, was she? "Would you like some pudding, Lavender? Or jello?" She offered both things to the creature and watched as it ate fast once again. "I guess you're more into sweets than I am!" That was definitelly going into Sophie's notes!

Little did he care what this day actually meant for him, and he had a very busy day with his girlfriend, no? But he had something to do first. Eve wasn't going to forget it, especially since it was her first birthday at Hogwarts, and even more so that she was now off age.

He understood the importance of that little fact.

So, Treyen was sitting at their House table and a little box was resting opposite him, so Eve wouldn't notice it right away. Or at least he hoped she didn't.
