Harvey smiled as he listened to the girls before Minnie leaned over to mess with his hair.. and spoke to him before she smiled.. gosh he loved it when she smiled.. she looked pretty smiling... if only they could.. just then his thought was broken as he was tapped with a wand and told that he had nice purple hair.. he rolled his eyes and shook his head.. he knew what she had done to him "Oh no! Already? Ok.. but only cause you like it." he said chuckling as he ran his hand through his new purple hair.

Oh yes, they had gone into the boys conversation. Glenn giggled at Harvey's hair, "It might as well be girls with germs for all the notice boys give me." She said, it had meant to sound like a general comment but it came out kinda needy. Whoopsie. As she does when she's nervous she started fixing her hair which seemed to not want to stay in place EVER. Oh, and yes, Glenn had got into the boys talk. She tried to avoid the topic, having a brother, it wasn't easy to forget just how icky some can be.

Justin walked back into the hall in his sweats and sat down next to Minnie and pour himself a glass of orange juice. " I feel much better now. So, what's going on? " he asked as he grabbed a banana and peeled it.

Minerva giggled. "Would you like it changed back?" she smiled at Harvey. "OH Glenn you don't have germs, boys can just be dumb and they probably notice you there just to afraid to say anything." Just then Justin sat down and she turned. "What happened, why did you get so upset and leave?" then her smile came back and she pointed to Harvey.. "Doesn't he look nice as a purple head?"

"Yeah, sure. I guess that's it." Glenn smiled and poured herself some more pumpkin juice, she had drunk all the rest of hers ages ago.

"Hey! Welcome back." Glenn said as Justin sat down at the table again. Glenn laughed again, just thinking how funny it was that they were talking about how stupid boys could be in front of two boys.

Harvey listened to the two girls talk about boys and Glenn saying how boys dont notice her much as she giggled over his hair. Minnie then told Glenn about how boys were dumb.. just as Justin came back into the hall.. and Harvey smiled as Minnie commented on his purple hair.. and Harvey ran his hand through his hair chuckling.. he looked at Glenn "I agree with Mins.. sometimes we boys can be a bit shy in revealing stuff.. so there might be a boy who likes you but cant tell you.." he said as he thought of himself and how was too shy to tell Minnie how he felt last year.. and how she tickled it out of him in the end.

Glenn smiled and looked away again, "That'd be nice." She said. Glenn guessed that was positive thinking, believing that guy likes her and couldn't tell her. Yes, fantasies were nice. She fixed herself a piece of toast, putting a little bit too much butter on it and eating it while absent mindedly looking up at the sky above the great hall, it was bright and autumny if that made sense.

As Laura passed by, she noticed her friends. She took a seat next to Minnie. She said 'Hiyaa!!,' as she smiled at them.



As Laura looked around , she saw an unfamiliar face. She smiled at her and said 'Holla...I'm Laura..'.

Minerva smiled as Harvey said the same thing she did to Glenn. "See I told you." "Oh Hey Laura, what's going on? How's classes going?"

Logan was wandering around the Great Hall for someone to talk to, and noticed Minnie and a few people he hadn't met before. "Hey everyone." he said smiling.

'Good!! In fact really good!!,' Laura answered. She was in a jolly good mood today!

Laura smiled at this person .'Heya!! I'm Laura,' she said

"Hi, Laura! I'm Logan." he said smiling at her.

'Nice to meet you Logan,' Laura said smiling 'Which year are you?,' she asked

"First year." he said. "What about you?" he asked, taking a seat. He wasn't gonna talk to Laura standing...that would be weird!

Laura smiled at him. 'Well I am second year..but I'm a newbie just like you..I was in salem before,' she said

Justin smiled and answered Minerva, " Just went out for my evening workout before it got too late is all. You know I need to do that to keep my moods in check." Then he gave her a peck on the cheek.
" I agree with Minnie as well, Glenn. We boys are odd. We're afraid of rejection really. It's abit hard to walk up to a girl that ya like and ask her out. "
Then he turned to Harvey and said, " Isn't that ,Harv? ....We still on for tomorrow night , Mate? " He gave his friend a serious look. They needed to spend more time together and there was no better way to spend that t ime than doing something constructive.

Laura smiled at Justin. 'Hi buddy!!,' she said

" Hey, Laura. How've you been? busy I omagine..." He smiled.

Minerva saw Logan and smiled "Hey Logan this is Laura and Glenn. Whatcha up to?" Minnie smiled as Laura and Logan were talking. "Well I'm glad you like your classes this term Laura. Are you making a lot of friends?" Minerva then turned to Justin. "Thought I could keep those emotions in check." she grinned "I wish you wouldnt' get so upset so quickly." as she put her hand in his and smiled.

"Nice to meet you, Glenn." Logan said smiling. "Oh...nothing, really." he said, shrugging. He had been feeling very empty inside lately. But he was trying his best to keep a smile on his face. "So I hear that Ronnie is coming back next year." he said, putting some eggs on his plate. "I met her in Diagon Alley and we've been owling eachother ever since." he said. "She's real nice." he said smiling. "She just arrived at her brother's house today." he said.

"That's awesome!" he said smiling.

Minerva's smiled got bigger. "Yes she is, I am so excited about it. You will love her she is a lion as well."

Glenn looked up and saw two new faces at the table "Hey, I'm Glenn!" She smiled at them and continued to sip her pumpkin juice.

It felt like forever since the last time Sophie had last eaten. She got to the Hufflepuff table and waved at some of the people that were there. Without a word, she sat down by Glenn and started eating everything she could put her hands on. Hogwarts' food was just marvelous! Nom nom!

"Sweet!" Logan said, smiling.

"Nice to meetcha, I'm Logan!" he said.

"Sophie!" Merlin's Beard, Glenn felt popular. It seemed their group was attracting every first or second year within a hundred mile radius. Okay, maybe that was a little exaggerated. But they had a good group of people now, from all four houses too. It was a proper party now!

"Logan," She repeated, "Nice to meet you too!" Glenn buttered another piece of toast and started eating it. At home, she usually forgot to have breakfast. But at Hogwarts she always came down for it even if it was the weekend, she got to talk to her friends here.
