Carigan laughed at the face Sophie gave her, she must have spoken too fast again. She always does that. Her sister and mum used to shush her in the ear every time she did that until she stopped talking. "Yeah, we're identical. Her eyes are a bit bigger than mine though. And I'm slightly taller, but she's older by twenty minutes." Carigan explained. "Maybe you can meet her even if she doesn't transfer... you can come visit me and my family over the summer!" Carigan said excitedly. There she went ahead of herself again. She really was fast at making friends but she hoped she wasn't making the girl uncomfortable.

That only made him smile a bit more.

And this was probably the first apology that had worked. Like, ever. Why? Because she'd accepted it without saying anything else. It was...nice, actually.

"At the moment, yes." So, don't make him change his mind.

He winked at her final words. If she was smart, though, she'll stay away from Tye because that was the boy he REALLY had to keep an eye out for.

Adeline was free to enjoy the rest of the feast. Or the beginning of it.

" Yes, Ma'am. How are you feeling now after you've gotten a bite to eat ? " Justin said as he shoved a huge bitefull of carrots in his mouth.
" Hey , Logan! Good to see you again. Congrats on making it into Gryffindor. " he smiled as Logan took a seat.
" Alyssa Mins right. You are a part of our group and if you ever need to talk I'm always here for you." Justin said with a warm smile.
' Your welcome, Love.' he answered in thought. Justin decided that he was being ridiculous. ' Amethyst, I do need you ...close to me . Like this... I was wrong to think I could get better without you. I know now that I and we are stronger together. Please forgive me. Justin looked into her eyes and blushed deeply.
Justin chuckled as Harvey was about to razz him back. " Harvs, I think everything is coming together. " as he looked towards Ame and then turned back and smiled.

Minerva looked at Justin and gave a shrug and smiled "The dizziness is still there, but I'm not hungry anymore. I am starting to get use the dizziness so I guess I'm doing better."

Sophie was starting to really like this Carigan girl. She enjoyed people that talked a lot, just like her. Maybe she would get used to the girl's talking speed if they got to be friends! "Uh..." she started with her eyebrows raised. A couple of seconds to actually understand her... "Oh! Yeah! That would be lovely! I'll sure go if mum and dad let me!" she said smiling at Carigan. She was glad there were so many people like her in Hufflepuff! Maybe that's why they separated students in different houses, to help them make friends faster!

She had just thought about that and spotted a little boy around her age, she guessed, sitting a couple of seats away from her. But he was wearing not a yellow uniform thingy like her, but a red one. "Hm..." Sophie waited until he stopped talking to some older students and spoke to him.
"Hey you! Yo, boy!" she waved at him. "How come you're here? Aren't you supposed to be at the Gryffindor table?" Sophie was a curious, what could she do? "Oh, I'm Sophie, by the way!"

Amethyst opened her mouth to say something but nothing came out. She was blushing so deeply. "I..." She thought. Then suddenly she just threw her arms around him and hugged him tightly. "Yes! Yes! Yes!" she said aloud.

Harvey smiled at the Lion Firstie "Hey Logan.. I am good! .. how abouts you?" he asked smiling.



harvey smiled at Justin's comment "Yes I think it is.. and I am glad it is.. " he said to Justin as he looked at Ame and then back to him... and Harvey looked at Minnie... he and Justin were sure was two lucky 12 year olds..



Harvey was not happy that she was still dizzy.. but he guessed that they were the side-effects of the medication.. "Well I hope the dizziness disappears too! " he said to her ... beaming .. he couldnt wait to go with her to their favourite spot.. the one where she told him she loved him too.. and where they spent many hours talking and hanging out.. just the two of them.. and no-one else.

Logan looked around and walked up to the girl. "Oh, I'm just visiting the table." he said nodding. "Nice to meet you, Sophie! I'm Logan." he said smiling.

"I'm great, thanks!" Logan said.

Carigan stood up and did a little victory dance right in the middle of the great hall, yet no one else but those in the immediate vicinity noticed her jabing her pointer fingers in the air and twirling around. "Hurray!" She exclaimed then sat herself back down and giggled. "So what about your family, did your parents go to Hogwarts too?" she asked curiously.

"Hey there, Logan!" Sophie said looking up at him, smiling. "Looking forward to classes? Which one do you think you'll like the most?"

Sophie turned her head really fast at Carigan when the girl got up and danced. =O Was she REALLY dancing right there?? Sophie couldn't believe it! She thought Carigan was going to be another one of her shy-friends, but...
"I cannot BELIEVE you just did that!!" she said staring at Carigan with her eyes open wide, eyebrows raised and a huge smile. That was just too awesome! A crazy-dancing friend! Yay! "No no no... did you seriously just do that??" Sophie grabbed Carigan's shoulders and shook her back and forth "Haaaaaaaaaaaaah!! That was SO COOL!!" she totally ignored the girl's question about her parents, she was way too happy with her friend's little dance.

"Oh yeah I am!" he said nodding eagerly. "Hmm...Defense Against the Dark Arts, Flying, and Herbology." he said. "What about you?" he asked.

Minerva smiled at him "I hope it does too, but I don't think it's going to that's why I try so hard to do without it." but I fail every time she finished in her head.

Carigan giggled uncontrollably at her new friends reaction to her dance. Carigan was glad Sophie seemed about as crazy as she was. Carigan smiled at Sophie and gave her a playful punch to the arm. "Come on, what kind of world would it be if I couldn't just stand up and dance when I felt like it?' she asked.

Oakey couldn't help it, so much was going on around him. There were so many lively 1st year Hufflepuffs. If you don't mind me butting in, but that was a great dance. He would get and dance as well but he had gorged himself full of all the food and was cleaned after it got all over him, he wouldn't dare dance at this moment even if he wanted to. How are you liking Hufflepuff? that was dumb question, she's obviously enjoying it. Oakey was just trying to make small talk.

"Wow, that's a lot you're looking forward to!" she said smiling. "I think I'm really going to like charms!" she stopped for a second. Flying? "Do you like quidditch? Root for any team?"

She was right. That was what Sophie thought too! If she felt like doing something, she would go ahead and do it! Why not? Isn't life all about being happy and all this kind of stuff? "You're totally right! I couldn't agree more! Seriously!" Sophie now knew she had just met a girl she was going to be great friends with.

Harvey smiled "Well thats good to hear Logan.. I am sure you will enjoy this school as much as I have in my first year.. I am glad to be back though. I think we all are" he said looking around at his Hufflepuff friends..



Harvey smiled at Minnie "You will do without it.. just not yet.. but once we hang out more with other people you wont need the medication anymore.. as you will get through this a winner.." he said to her as he beamed at her.. he knew she would get through this.. she had always been a winner and still was one.. and nothing was going to change that..

Jessie smiled at Carigan's blush. It was glad to know she wasn't the only one who could turn as red as her hair. "I'm not really sure. Transfiguration sounds like it could be really fun if you can master the wandwork! I guess I'll just have to wait and see! What about you?"

For a moment Messer thought the older boy already gone somewhere because he's pretty quite.

"Oh. You're a new recruits too the?" he asked the boy. "I'm a new recruits too. My name is Messer." he introduced himself again this time to the boy in case he didn't catch his name while he's introducing himself to the girl earlier.

Suddenly the foods were appeared from no where but that sudden appearance of the house elf made the eleven years old loss his appetite. He turned his face toward the older boy "Huh? I-I'm fine." He's not gonna tell him that he's afraid of the house elf he could be a laughing stock. And no he's not fine he want to go to the dorm like right now and hide under the blanket so the elf won't get him.



"Okay then, Arya its." Too bad he kinda like calling Arya Ms. Prefect though. Its just sounds awesome.

"That's sounds really cool..!!" He can't wait to sit on the couches and feel its comfy-ness. Oh snacks! He love snacks but wait! Did Arya said the kitchen? That mean there will be house elves wondering around that place, right? Eik! He just hoped that the house elf won't be wondering around their common room.

So that's the mommy badger. He made a mental note to visit her later to introduce himself. Messer's eyes went from the staff table and back to Arya. from Arya description their Head of House sounds really nice.

"Its nice to meet you too, Treyen." he nodded towards the head boy. Then Arya explained to him how the older boy become head boy and a prefect. The eleven years old could feel that his brain was processing the information Arya gave to him. "Cool! So you're like the leader of the students too?" he asked Treyen. "I can come to you." Was that he's about to say? So that mean if need a rocket star he could go and ask him?



Messer returned Alyssa smile. "What year are you in, Alyssa?" he asked rather curious. She seems older maybe a fourth or fifth year? Then his eyes went to the plate which not empty anymore. Yeas, finally he could eat he's starving!

When he was about to eat his food, Messer eyes caught something shinny on the other student robe. It read Quidditch Captain. Is he their Quidditch Captain? "Hello. I'm Messer one of the Hufflepuff first year." he said introducing himself. "Are you THE Quidditch captain?" he asked.

Gwen muttered to herself in a distracted kind of way.
"Yes, joining the Quidditch team would be interesting."

She blinks her eyes as if she had just awoken and then joins in with Sophie and Nate.
"I'm a big Wimbourne Wasps fan! A true Stinger!"
Starts buzzing like a wasp, then laughs.


Overhears Messer and freezes. The Quidditch captain? WOW. If she wanted to become a house player, she'd probably have to wait until next year, anyways. But knowing the captain couldn't hurt, could it?
"Hi, I'm Gwen, also a Hufflepuff first year."
She gave Messer a smile, hoping it was okay that she was sort of butting in on him.
The last thing she wanted was to be on bad terms with anybody on the first day.

Laura, who was sitting there saw her newly-found friends nearby. She saw Amy and Justin make up and she was like 'Aww..' deep inside her heart. She was not sure if they would like her joining them. So she just sat there and gave them all a smile and mouthed a 'hi'



Laura saw a girl, probably younger than,sitting her next to her. She said 'Hi..I'm Laura..'

Minnie smiled as Harvey tried to tell her she would win. She didn't even know herself if she could, but she took comfort in knowing someone else was thinking she could. She leaned against him and sighed, then she noticed Laura looking over from the Ravenclaw table. "Looks like you have another Ravenclaw friend to hangout with Harvey. Laura come over here. Just because your a Ravenclaw doesn't mean you can't sit with us. Harvey does it all the time. You can just be Ravenpuff like Harvs."

Laura smiled. She approached the group and took a seat in between Miinie and Justin..'Thanks..Mins..looks like I have more 'puffs than 'claws as friends!,' laura joked. She was perfectly alright with that.

Amethyst smiled as she came back over from the Slytherin table. She sat down, giggling. "You know, I think I've just found us a Snake friend! Perhaps, we won't get bitten?" She chuckled at her own dry humor. Harvey was still better at the jokes than she.

"I probally am going to try out. I doubt I will make it though."

Minerva smiled at Laura "Don't worry about it. Houses are just houses if you get bored in the common room you can keep my Harvs company." She looked around all over the great Hall students seemed to be getting restless. "I'm sure you will make plenty of friends in your own house, but you will always be welcome over here." The Ame came back, "Oh we do? That will be our first. He or she is welcome to sit over here as well."
