The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear.

"I see. That's nice, I hope you enjoyed it! I know I would!" Sophie replied. "Aw, that's too bad she can't do stuff with you guys." she stopped talking and thought for a little while. "Tell me something, what's your favorite subject?" Sophie completely changed topics and she knew it. She used to do that sometimes. "You told me stuff about transfiguration earlier, but is that your favorite subject, is it?"
Glenn blinked a couple of times after the sudden change of topic, "I guess it's my favourite subject, it's the only one I've had much success with anyway. If not Transfiguration then my favourite subject would be Muggle Studies. The teacher is really nice." She smiled at Sophie brought the question right back at her, "You thought charms would be your favourite right? I think you told me that before?"

Jayden slowly walked up towards the Hufflepuff table, and noticing two people that appeared to be in the same year as her, decided to introduce herself. That was part of the dare Cael had given her, right?
Gustav chuckled at the way Sophie trying to say his name.
"Gus-stav...."he repeated and smiled. He waved awkwardly to the other students in the group.
"Nice to meet you...I am from Romania...I'm in fouth year as well," he replied. He was raised in Romania to english-spoken family so It was not a problem understanding how to speak the language here.
"Ooo, Romania! That sounds so cool!" Sophie said happily. "I hope we can all have a good time here at Hogwarts! How long are you going to stay here?"

"Muggle studies? Do we have to take this one?" Sophie was not really looking forward to studying about stuff she already knew. "Yeah, yeah! I really liked practicing a bit earlier on the train! It was great fun! I can't wait to try out the real thing!"

"I hope so too,I heard many great stories and events happen here," Guzstav said. He would be staying here for atleast two years before he would be moving back to Romania so he could reunite with his family again. For now he had to stay in England for the time being.
"I be here for atleast two years..."he replied to her question.
"So what do you think of Hogwarts so far?"he asked.
Sophie looked up at the girl that had just appeared behind them. "Oh, hello! I'm Sophie, this is my friend Glenn! Nice to meet you"
"Nice to meet you both as well!" Jayden replied cheerfully, her blue eyes flashing cheerfully as she smiled at the both of them, extending her hands for them to shake.
"I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all! This year should be a blast!" She added.

"Here, let me introduce you to some of the guys!" Sophie said to Laura. "This is Glenn, my laughing-buddy" she pointed at Glenn. "That one is Jessie! And this one is Carigan. All of us, but Glenn, are first-years!" Then she looked up to Treyen again. She said in a low voice in a way only Laura could hear "That's Treyen, the Head Boy. Glenn and I like calling him Treyen-Mr-Head-Boy, but he doesn't seem to like it so much." she smirked.
Hufflepuff House was awesome! Sophie was truly glad to be there. She bet that none of the other houses had such cool people.
Sophie overheard their conversation and jumped in her seat. "Did I hear you say Ruffles?? Was that really what you said??" her big eyes were wide open as usual.
"Yep! That's what I said. That's what the name on the bag says. There's also Lays and Pringles. Funny names right? But I don't care. Muggles make the best Potato Chips,"Alyssa laughed. "Would you like a bag after you're done enjoying the feast?" she offered the younger girl.

"Excuse me but I didn't mean to eavesdrop. I know that it is none of my business, but I just heard you say that you will only be in Hogwarts for two years. That would mean you would miss the NEWTS. Why don't you stay until you get them? I know that you are looking forward to being with your family again. But it would be such a tragedy if you didn't finish your studies here. I hope that you'll change your mind." Alyssa smiled at the boy.

"Yeah, I'm Glenn, Glenn Reyes. I'm a second year, you?" Glenn smiled, and shifted in her seat to face the girl. She'd seen her around last year and was almost positive that this girl was a second year like her. But- it was polite to ask.
The girl had extended her hand so Glenn reached out a took it, shaking once or twice before letting go.

Sophie smiled as she held out her own hand to shake the Ravenclaw girl's. "That's what I'm hoping for too! What year are you in?" Jayden didn't seem to be much older than her, but she wasn't sure.

Overhears Sophie talking about Muggle Studies. "I know! My father's a wizard and my mum's a Muggle, so it doesn't make sense for me to take the course."
Fills her goblet with pumpkin juice. "Hi, I'm Gwen. Actually, my parents called me Guinevere, but I prefer Gwen."
Takes a sip of pumpkin juice. "Are you a first year, too?"

Arya wasn't worried about the whole thing he'd just went through with the other firstie cause he was apologizing and such, and he was greeting Messer which was good. The younger needed to know her best friend so that if she wasn't around, he would be all helpful to him.
Though she was usually almost always around, if only a bit late.
Her eyes drifted over to the staff table again when the speech was given, the prefect smiling to herself as she listened. Good speech. And totally an exciting term, as always, she'd read about her school in the prophet. She lingered over the staff table a bit longer to take in all the new faces before turning her attention to the food. YUM.

Sophie was still really excited she could have a bag of potato chips from Alyssa's stock. She then noticed Oakey's strange movements grabbing so much food. She was shocked and just stared at him for a couple of seconds, with both of her eyebrows raised. When he managed to knock everything over she busted out laughing. "How can anybody be like this??" she thought, and even in her thoughts she was laughing.
She leaned towards Oakey carefully, still smirking. "Um... are you ok?"

Her father's great expectations have been haunting her ever since she got accepted to Hogwarts. However, she also knew that he would be proud of her no matter what house she was in or whether or not she became a prefect. She wasn't planning on it. It seemed like so much responsibility!
Her eyes remain scanning the staff table, stopping at the Headmaster in awe.
"No, he was a Gryffindor."
Sighs. "And a prefect. I have a lot to live up to."

"No, he was a Gryffindor."

"My parents send me here so I can study more subjects...they heard of Hogwarts is it a very good school...and it will be a great learning experience for me..I also need to speak more language in English too..."he replied with a smile back at the girl.

Minerva heard someone behind her and looked. It was Lilly she jumped up and hugged her. "Lilly I haven't seen you since the wedding. Where is Rose?" she looked around and didn't see her. Then remembering the way Rose treated her at the wedding she frowned probably still mad at her. "I haven't seen Violet, tell me she isn't hiding up in the room already? I will keep an eye out for her. Would you like to sit and talk for awhile?"
"I checked the Slytherin table, where I expected her to be with-" she raised her eyebrow. "-Ashley, but she wasn't there either. I don't think anyone can get out of the hall, so she won't be in her dorm," Lilly frowned. "Rose is still upset about Ronnie leaving. She's over at the Gryffindor table. I don't think she can still be that mad at you," she stopped to think about it. Nope, Rose hadn't mentioned Minnie at all. Or anyone else for that matter. Just Ronnie. "Okay," she nodded.
