"Ello, you're first year aren't you? Hi,I'm Gustav...I'm new here too.."he introduced himself. He saw her not talking to anyone,since he was older he might have a go with it. He was a transfer student here.

"Oh hooooo!!! Is that a challenge or something??" Sophie said laughing but looking right into Ella's eyes. "You don't know what you're getting into, missy!!"

She turned back to Oakey and saw his big smile. She thought he looked rather funny and chuckled. "Dad was right, Hufflepuffs can be kind of weird sometimes." she thought. "Oh, I was just talking to my new friend Ella about quidditch too!" Sophie said, pointing at her new friend who was sitting near them. "I like watching quidditch matches rather than playing. I can be a reeeally loud fan, you know!" for some reason she felt really proud of herself. "But I guess I'm looking forward to charms classes the most! They sound awesome!"

"Yeah, I guess you could!" Sophie said smiling when Elle welcomed her. "I'm loving everything about Hogwarts so far! It just couldn't be any better, could it?" she was still really excited about everything and didn't mind showing it. "Were you expecting to be in Hufflepuff?"

Again, as soon as she finished her sentence, Sophie noticed another little shy girl sitting alone. She always liked to talk to shy kids, because she knew it was hard for them to take the first step.
"Heey you! Yoou!" she waved frenetically at the girl. "Want to join us? I'm Sophie, by the way!" she added smiling.

Justin looked down at her as he heard her voice while the others didn't. " Ame, I have to be sure that it'll last. I don't know what I'd do if we became disconnected again. " he said inside her mind. " I can read you wherever you are at anytime. Can you do the same? "

Minerva had her head on Harvey's shoulder still, but her eyes were open and watching her friends. "Oh good lord your all crazy." she laughed and then Justin stuck his tongue out at her. She kicked him under the table and gave him a playful grin. This was fun she was so glad to be back at Hogwarts.

Laura looked at the older boy, she had no idea how to say his name. "Do you mind if I just call you Gust?" Laura asked nervously, she wouldn't be able to say his name if she was offered a sweet or anything like that, it sounded so hard to say. "I'm Laura."

Laura looked at Sophie and smiled, this girl was more her age and seriously she had better make a friend with a first year. "Hi Sophie." Laura smiled, she was very nervious she wasn't going to join Sophie yet her other friends might not like her interupting them, she didn't like it when people interupted her when she was speaking to Lana. "I'm Laura."

Harvey couldnt help but laugh at the antics his friends were getting upto.. right down to tongues being stuck and kicks under the table.. yes he saw that one.. but he was happy to see them all having fun like they had done last year and he hoped this year and all the years to come would be much much more fun..

Carigan looked around when she heard a girl talking to her. "Hello Sophie, my name is Carigan!" She said when the girl had introduced herself. Carigan blushed a little at the compliment on her hair then said "Thanks so much. My sister and I got it from our mother." She said. Then looked down at the table. She had been swept up in the excitement of Hogwarts and had completely forgotten her sister. Did her sister miss her too?

Her head shot up again as another girl introduced herself to her, a red head like her. "Hello Jessie! My name is Carigan. I know lot's of red heads, though, my mom is a ginger and so is my sister. My father is blonde though. But my sister and I got his blue eyes!" Carigan said, then smiled. Her small eyes once again turned to slits with brilliant flashes of blue popping out.

"No, it actually couldn't. I was wicked excited for this my whole life. I always heard my sister talking about it and I got soooooo jealous" she said. This was obviously excited to be here, just like Ellle. "Yeah, I was. My parents were in different houses but my sister was in Hufflepuff and I am knda just like her. How 'bout you?"

She looked down at her hands. She gave off a slight smile and then looked back up at him. She knew it would last. She knew he was going to break up with him front the moment she got that letter. "I heard you and Harvey talking..and I already knew by the time I got the letter.." Her eyes were smiling. "So..yes. I can do the same."

She smirked at Minerva. "And that includes you too, Silly Head!" She giggled. If Amethyst Kai Geleto-Ambrose was crazy, Minerva was insane.

Keefer laughed. "No, the bruise has faded away by now. If I had used some Gregory's Unctuous Unction it... well, there are magical ways of making things heal faster, but let's just say that I liked having the battle wound." He winked. You need to lose to win? What is he talking about? Better just let that part slide.

Oh, score! New recruit! "Yeah, definitely try out. It can't hurt! And even if you don't make the team this year, you'll have some experience with the pressure of try outs so you'll have an upper hand for next year." He nodded. Plus having another year of flying under your belt never hurts. "And no problem. You'll find most Hufflepuffs are helpful when you need it. It's kind of a hallmark of your new House." As for the girls... Good. Don't wanna have to deal with first year relationships.

"Ello, Laura...Sure...my friends call me Gust all the time..." Gustav replied with a grin. She looked rather nervous to be talking to him but he was friendly, he didn't hurt nobody. He liked to make friends with everybody in the room. Then she was called by a girl named Sophie,maybe Laura would want to join them?
"I'm in fouth year, transfer student...so its doesn't matter you're a first year, I'm kind of nervous too being here..." he said honestly.

Autumn peered round to the hufflepuff table watching them get along so well. Without knowing it autumn was staring at them.

Minerva reached up her hand messing Harvey's hair up. "Did you think you were getting off without anything happening to you." She wanted to change someones hair so bad, but she wasn't sure if she would get into trouble for using magic at the feast, plus she didn't have the energy. She stretched her legs out under the table and put her feet on Justin and gave him a weak smile hoping he didn't mind.

Minerva gave a playful grin towards Amethyst. "It's on Geleto" she giggled and took her foot off Justin and pushed Ame's leg then placed it back on Justin.

"No, probably not," Glenn laughed and listened to Sophie's conversation with a Hufflepuff guy. "Oh! Are you guys talking about Quidditch?" Glenn said excitedly, "My family supports the Moutohora Macaws, you know, the New Zealand team? My dad came from New Zealand so yeah. By the way, I'm Glenn." She said to the Hufflepuff guy, extending her hand and grinning.

Sophie smiled at her while she spoke. "Come join us, Laura!" she repeated gesturing when the girl didn't move from her kind of distant seat. "Oh, and you have a beautiful name! I really like it!" she waited a bit more. "Come on, don't be so shy! I'll keep bothering you until you come, you know!" she grinned.


"Hello Carigan, nice to meet you!" it was really nice meeting new people, Sophie thought. "I think ginger hair is brilliant!" she said looking at the girl's red hair. It was indeed her favorite hair color. She then noticed Carigan stared down, looking a bit sad. "Are you ok?" she asked frowning. "It must take something really bad to make someone be upset in a day like this!" she thought.

"I wasn't really expecting any particular house. I thought I might be either in Hufflepuff like my mum, or in Ravenclaw like my dad." Sophie told Elle. "I guess the Sorting Hat thought I was more like my mum!" she added smiling at the girl. Now that she thought of it, she agreed with the Hat.

Sophie stared at Glenn with her big eyes. "No, I've never heard of them! Are they good?" she asked. "I bet they're not as good as the Arrows!" she grinned as she said that. No one could be as good as the Arrows!

She turned around to watch as the other first-years were still getting sorted. This was taking really long, but still, it was fun.

Carigan nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry. See, I have a twin sister but she went to a different school. This is the longest we have been apart our entire lives and... I bet she doesn't even miss me." She said, a tear beginning to roll down her cheek.

Amethyst gave a smirked nodded, followed by a playful grunt. She chuckled at her friends and pulled out her sketch pad. Se began to draw the Great Hall, her intention of sending a huge painting home.

Laura looked at Gust and smiled. "That's great Gust has a great ring to it." Laura was sure about that and it was a must easier name to say than Gustav. "We can be friends then, then we can be nervous together." Laura laughed, she didn't mind so long as Lana wasn't around. "I'll speak to you later Gust."

Laura looked at Sophie and giggled, this girl just wasn't going to let her speak to Gust was she, saying that in someways she was glad that she was so insistant it would mean that they might be good friends, if only they could get to know each other.

Laura got up from her seat and went and found an empty on closer to Sophie. "Is that better?" She asked as she sat down, she was sure that Sophie was going to be super friendly now all she had to do was think of something else to say, but when she couldn't think of anything she just sat there.

Harvey laughed as he heard the two girls talk... he loved this!! and then Minnie told him he wasnt getting off easily "Well I guess not sweetheart.. I missed having you in my life last year.. this is what i missed .. you and your fun moments... but I am so glad we are together again.." he said kissing her head.. as he noticed the push that she gave Ame.. and saw Ame take out her sketch pad and start to draw.. Yup all was well again. just the way he wanted it. he was feeling lighter already..

Jordan approached the Hufflepuff table, looking around to see where she would sit. It seemed as if everyone had already started talking and making new friends. Not wanting to interrupt anyone's conversation she decided to take a seat at the end of the table.

Alex smiled "Hi Sam, I'm Alex...you're a first year, right?" he asked. He was PRETTY SURE he'd just seen this kid get sorted but, he wasn't sure. All those first years started to look the same after a while.

"By the way, since you're a Slytherin, I feel obligated to tell you to watch out for Sierra Greingoth," he told him with a head nod. "Just...don't get on her bad side," he warned him.

Gustav laughed,"Yeah it has a nice ring to it..." He was delighted to hear that they could be friends and grinned at her. He nodded at Laura when she decided to join the other hufflepuff students. "Sure,later then..." he smiled. He watched her sat with them, he then continued eating his meal.

The other boy didn't shoo him away, so Sammy took a seat next to him. He wasn't planning on leaving the Puff table right away anyways. Maybe he would just hang out here the rest of the feast. "Nice to meet you Alex. Yeah."

He managed to keep his smile on his face when Alex mentioned him being a Slytherin. That was why Sammy was here: to forget that. He raised an eyebrow and tried not to look nervous. "Why? Is she evil or something?" He would definitely make sure to stay away from her if that was true.

Oh, well, that was good for them? Treyen wasn't even considering to be a father just yet, the thought of it scared him to death, actually. But there were others, like Fletcher, who seemed to be ready for it.

Fletcher was always ready for anything, honestly. Hence why he was a Triwizard Tournament Champion.

Wait, what? Six? "By the way you were speaking of them I thought they were younger than that." They were kids, but the age was one in which they could have their own opinion on things. Just like these eleven year olds that were forming an opinion of Hufflepuff he didn't share. Tsk. Tyler and Adeline.

And...twins being a handful..., "Yeah, grandma has mentioned that twins are a handful. My father is one." Not sure if he's mentioned this to Alex before. Yet, his grandmother also said that Treyen had been worse than her two kids together...so...

HE WAS GETTING A SMILE OUT OF HER!

That...made him smile too. "You heard me." He said, nicely for the first time, "I owe you an apology." A single nod was made after he apologized again.

Treyen laughed, softly, when she said...what she said next. "You're smart...," the way she acted seemed to denote so, "...you'll probably be right many more times." Adeline should get used to it.

MAN! Seriously! He was being teased by firsties! They were clearly doing so...and Arya, his Co-Prefect, was allowing THIS to happen. She will hear him tonight. Definitely.

Sigh.

"Just 'Treyen', really." No 'Mr.' or...well, 'Sir' would be fine. Come to think of it, it was even worse. So, yeah, just Treyen.

Oi. Kid. He'd better sit back on the bench.

Ah. So he thought he belonged in Slytherin? Treyen noticed the way he looked at the table, plus the fact that he'd looked there when he spoke, and simply realized that was the house he'd said he belonged to. IF the kid believed he was a Slytherin, then this was the kid Treyen wanted the hat to resort, since Adeline was cool now.

"Nah, it means that you're truly a Hufflepuff and don't want to leave." Wink. However, losing a kid like this would be awful, since Treyen was beginning to have fun with him.

And just like that, the boy hopped off, and...tsk, tsk. "It means you have to listen to me." He didn't think Lafay would listen to him, though. And...wait, this could be the best thing he ever did on the first night at Hogwarts, "Actually, I'll take you. If that's what you want, I'll take you to get resorted...but it'll have to be after the feast." He whispered, closer to the boy. You know, after the feast was better, otherwise everyone would want to get resorted, right?

An eyebrow was raised. A funny name? His was...incredibly ridiculous. Tye? Three letters? "You may call me Mr. Head Boy, Tye." Just for saying his name was funny.

Minerva got comfy with her feet on Justin and her head on Harvey's shoulder. She watched Ame draw. "Watcha drawing Ame?"
