The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear.
Amethyst blushed as he moved closer to her. It was like the good wolves howling at the moon in her head as she played on a wide smile.
Justin smiled as he saw Amethyst blush. " I think you and I need to talk alone." he whispered as he leaned into her, secretly stealing a sniff of her hair. Justin had been second guessing himself since he wrote her that letter. Maybe he had made a hastey decision and should have waited until they had arrived at school....
Thn Minerva asked him what was going on in his head. And with a little chuckle said, " I honestly couldn't tell you. "

Eh, no. No, that was necessary at all! "'Treyen' would suffice." Seriously. Unless they felt the need to add 'Sir' at the beginning of it like Eino had done before, then all was fine.
After listening to what she had to say, Treyen tilted his head to one side. What she said...that wasn't going to keep her away from those kind of doors, and truthfully, it wouldn't keep him out either. "I'm sure it'll say something more than 'Keep Out'." He said, with a smile.
Really, in the past the sign at the door had stated that students better not enter. So, yeah, not just 'Keep Out'.
Joking? Yeah, that was a really funny joke. He...also wasn't the type of Head Boy to tell off a student either, depended on the situation. "Of course." He added a wink, just because.
It seemed like Sophie was going to be calling him that, eh? "I don't answer to 'Treyen-Mr-Head-Boy'," yet he still smiled.
AND...he raised an eyebrow. "The 'accidentally' part worries me." Truthfully. Because she was already considering things happening based on 'accidents'.
The Head Boy chuckled at her words. "Good." Hopefully. And if things weren't going to be all fine the least they could do was call him in or call Arya, and they'll try to help in whichever way possible.
Had they managed to get in trouble, that is.
"Okay, okay," Glenn caught her breath from laughing and smiled, "We'll stop now, Mr- Treyan. Is that better than the old nickname?" She arched an eyebrow and giggled with Sophie once again.
This little first-year was awesome, she hadn't laughed like this since- well ages.

Harvey listened into all the conversations going on between the 5 of them.. Ame, him, Justin, Minnie and Alyssa.. Ame was cheerful as before.. calling him Amigo.. as that was what their nickname was as a group.. he knew that she was going to be a different Ame this year.. and he liked that the group was holding on and was still together still.. Then Minnie spoke to him asking him to sit by the lake the next day... he smiled "Of course darling.. whatever you wish is my command.. we will do what you wantever to do tomorrow" he said to her smiling as she talked to Justin and Justin talked to her.. but before that he had noticed that Ame and Justin were getting closer again.. and that made him happy... maybe in the future they would start dating again.. he was a happy bunny... slowly all the burden of holding this group together on his own was lifting... everyone was cheerful again and the group was repairing at the seams.. and he Harvey Watson.. was repairing at the seams too.

Ella thought about what Sophie had said. "Well, I'd definitely like to try but I guess I should see if I'm any good on a broom first!" She laughed and shrugged her shoulders. "As for my favorite Quidditch team...hmm" Ella thought about all the teams she had been learning about. One definitely stood out. "My favorite team is definitely the Holyhead Harpies! I love that they are an all female team and they're tough and they're just great." She knew she was rambling but she didn't care at this point. "I'll have to try some spells and see how they turn out. I can't wait to start learning the really interesting spells. It's going to be pretty awesome."

Just people saying hi, catching up on summer break news and talking about Quidditch. Wait a minute, medicine? When did you start taking medicine and what is it for, if you don't mind me asking," Alyssa started to get worried again.

'Are you?'
Oscar then saw the weird sounding girl again. He frowned, it really sounded strange. It was good to see he was in Hufflepuff? That was questionable. But hey, maybe, if dad was so upset about Oscar being a Hufflepuff he'd be allowed back home! 'I suppose.. Maybe.' All the Hufflepuff's he had met seemed nice enough, but he still had to be able to go home, right?! 'Daisy Tucker has already promised me to show me around, but thank you.' He flashed her a smile before taking another sip of pumpkin juice.
"No problems. Daisy actually knows the place better than I. I'm sure you'll still have fun. Actually it'll work better this way. I'll be able to spend more time with Alex then.." Alyssa could tell that her efforts to be friends with Oscar were being rebuffed and she started to feel sad. But then she took a deep breath and thought to herself. 'Unfortunately, not everybody may want to be your friend, Lyssie. Even if they are Hufflepuffs. You just may have to accept that Oscar may be one of them.'. Alyssa was disappointed but she was learning to accept that not everything would turn out the way she wanted it to be. Even being friends with Oscar.

Alyssa laughed. "Amethyst. If we were to actually wait for the Headmaster to make his speech before we ate, we'd be eating the flowers."

"Because... well..." He was stumped for words. "Everyone's nice here. You don't want people being mean to you when you're new." That was very important! "... But you're a boy! The only way you'll turn out girl is if someone waves their wand and turns you into a girl!" And there would be no wand waving and turning boys into girls here. He didn't want to be a girl.
Alec looked at the people this new boy was talking to. Some girl... Adeline? And some new, older boy. He ruffled his hair and turned back to this... boy. "So? Forget about... them," he said, giving the boy a smile, "Some of us are nice."
Alec raised his eyebrows. A Bludger? Was that the name of the enchanted ball Keefer had been talking about? It HIT people? "You don't still...have that bruise do you?" Alec didn't mind getting hurt but that were things like scrapes of the knees and little cuts. Big bruises were a completely different matter. "Oh! You can do it this time," he said, patting the boy in the back. Right. Awkward. Got it. "Sometimes you just need to lose to win." Like his kite flying competitions with Anya.
Alec grinned. This boy was nice. Really. "But if you're good enough to be Captain... you're good," He didn't really have anything else he needed to say. Alec smiled some more at Keefer's offer. Trying out for the team though... "If i understand Quidditch properly..." Should he say it? "Then i guess trying out for the team wouldn't be so bad." Especially if Keefer was there. "Thank you! I appreciate the offer," Girls? WHAT?! Alec let out a small chuckle. "You won't hear about girls from me anytime soon." Girls were... okay. He just didn't think of them in that adult way.
Alec nodded. That probably showed that the older boy was... well, older. Most of the people he knew were really excited about this and they were in his year. Older kids were probably too used to it. But then again... this boy was starting fresh like him. Odd.
"Do you mind me asking why you're not sure?" he asked, trying to be as polite as possible. Maybe Alec could make this boy excited. Or maybe he just needed some time. "Yeah, i'm really excited!" he said, grinning, "Especially... about Quidditch! And maybe some classes! But mainly Quidditch and exploring the castle."
"It will be an honor to show you around. A friend asked me to look out for two more first years, Asher and his twin, Ariel. So I hope you don't mind if they join us too. I first have to meet them though. They may not like me," Alyssa grinned back at Alec.

Sammy shook her head "Wasn't Everett, he was too busy protecting his guitar" she said wishing food would turn up soon. She was hungry. And a hungry Sammy never ended well. With anything. There would be an up roar of hungry students soon enough. "and he was with me for most of the trip" she said, not even knowing why she was sticking up for the poodle boy, he was a moron. That never took her advice because he was a moron.
Sammy nodded ever so slightly. THEN AMY QUESTIONED HER MOTIVES. She couldn't say the real motive or Amy would have her in the hospital wing for crazy within seconds "Watched a lot of Disney over the summer, mainly the Little Mermaid. Thought it'd be fun to try and give everyone a character. Katie is flounder" she said nodding. That was sort of the reason, the other part of it was that she just wanted an excuse to sing little mermaid songs.

Wow. Elle was here, at Hogwarts. It was amazing. She was so excited. She didn't know anybody in her house, Hufflepuff, but she was having fun just because she was having fun. She sat alone at the table, and started taking a bunch of food. There was soooo much, and it was sooooo good. Now she just needed to meet some people.

Ok, now Alex was confused. The boy said he wasn't lost, yet he was just...hanging out there. He blinked. This boy was clearly wearing Slytherin robes...maybe he was looking for someone.
"Do you need help finding someone?" he asked. If he did he felt bad just letting the kid stand there.
Sammy took in the look on the boys face. Apparently he had noticed his green robes. Yeah...they were still the wrong color. "Kinda. I don't see my friend Adeline though." He looked up and down the table and wonder where she went. Oh well. Maybe he could sit here with this boy and try and blend in with the Puffs. "I'm Sam by the way." He was starting to get used to being called Sam. It was kinda growing on him.

While Ella was waiting for Sophie's reply, she looked up and down the Hufflepuff table. She noticed a girl who was sitting alone and remembered how she had felt just a little while earlier. She decided she wanted to make this girl feel welcome the way Sophie had made her feel welcome. She smiled at the girl and waved her over. Ella hoped that she would join her. She would love to meet another housemate.

" Hey, Harv. What do ya say you and I go fishing tomorrow? That is after you and Minnie are finished at the lake. " he smiled.

Sophie was laughing really loudly now and she could see that some people were staring, but she didn't care. "It'd not be fine in his opinion, though!" Sophie said in a lower voice, pointing at Treyen as he spoke to someone else. She kept on laughing with Glenn. She loved laughing buddies and she had just found one at Hogwarts! Yay!

Laura had been sat in silence whilst her twin sister was sorted, she was so upset when she heard it say Ravenclaw, they wouldn't be together and she didn't like it at all, all she wanted to do at the minute was kick the sorting hat about 12ft in the air but unfortualy she couldn't since it was over there and she was here at the table.
Laura looked around she didn't know anyway, Darwin wasn't a Hufflepuff he was a Ravenclaw so that was another friend in a different house and Amelia was Slytherin and a fifthed year, she had no idea what to do now, everything was so different and now she wouldn't have her sister there to help her well it was all part of growing up though if this was what growing up was about Laura was going to stay a kid until she was well at least 100 years old.

Harvey smiled as Justin invited him to fishing after he and Minnie were finished by the lake "Er.... sure Justin we will do that.. " he said smiling... as he spoke to Minnie with a somewhat cheeky smile on his face.. Then Minnie smiled at him and said that his hair hadnt been a different color so he had better watch out... he chuckled "Ok Mins I will keep an eye out for a very pretty girl with a wand itching to do some Transfiguration.." he said beaming at her.. and Ame then piped in about all the magicky stuff.. and Harvey knew he was in trouble now.. he was having a blast already and it was only the beginning of the year..
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.

Not much longer after she started eating a girl who looked like a first year started talking to her."Hello there!! Do you want to join us here?" the girl said to her. "Oh heeeyyyyy, I'd love to!" Elle responeded happily. Everybody seemed so sweet in Hufflepuff. "I'm Elle, I guess I should welcome you to Hufflepuff too! Isn't this all so awesome so far?" she said to Sophie. She was talking to someother people too, but Elle would just ignore them for now.

Justin Stopped laughing as he felt his heart beat increase in speed. He looked down as if he were in dream and saw Ame's face buried in his chest. He blushed deeply. ' Is she really in tune with me? I would have to be sure before I make a final decision. ' Justin thought to himself.
Guzstav smiled at his new schoolmates,not sure if he could talk to them or not. In the meantime he would eat his delicious meal. Hogwarts food were simply amazing, it even more better than Durmstrang, to be honest.
Laura looked around again, she wasn't sure who to talk too first, maybe someone older but then again they all looked scary and the other first years where chatting together and she didn't want to interupt them, seriously why couldn't she have made friends with some Hufflepuff students before now, it's not like they were royalty around and she had to wait for them to speak, so why was it she was suddenly so shy of everyone at the table.
