What a nice name for a school! But "Hogwarts" was cooler. "I hope we can all have a good time here! I know it's going to be great!"

Jessie listened as Sophie and another girl talked about Quidditch. "Oh Quidditch! I love Quidditch! I agree, the Holyhead Harpies are pretty amazing, especially for an all-girl team! The Appleby Arrows were the greatest team of all time! Of all. Time! EVER! "Haha, Chudley Cannons!" Sophie laughed to herself. "Poor girl!" Sophie knew that the Chudley Cannons haven't won anything special in a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally long time. "Uh... I hope you're happy with your um... team." she added sticking out her tongue sideways. "I'm not going to try-outs anyways. I'm not much of a player. Just a fan, really!"

Sophie then noticed the headmaster was standing. She looked straight at him and stopped talking. She listened to his words very carefully.
"Anniversary, what? Whose anniversary?" Sophie never read the newspaper. She thought it was boring.
Professor Tate welcomed all the new staff and students, and Sophie felt as he was talking directly to her. "Aw, how nice! Thank you, sir!" she thought to herself. "Eat! Yay!" Sophie smiled excited. "Don't die?? Huh?? Okaay... maybe professor Tate was kind of crazy. "He might probably be a Hufflepuff!" she laughed. She should get used to those things, apparently.
Sophie then listened as the house elf spoke. She didn't know what to think of house elves, actually, she had never spoken to one before. She thought that one sure sounded... unusual.

Phew. No theoretic-catching up. Oscar let out a relieved sigh, he'd been working hard enough at home, especially now that his older brothers were done with school and his younger siblings hadn't started it yet, mum could focus just on him, which meant a lot more hard working. He and Donald used to mess around if she was busy with James.
Messing around would be impossible at Hogwarts classes, he guessed.
'Oh, alright. That won't be too awful, I suppose.' He nodded and smiled. 'I bet! It looks HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE!' To emphasise his point he stood up on the bench and stretched his hands out. It was bigger than any place he'd ever seen.

Oscar laughed along with her, 'it looks...' He grinned, 'I should try it.' He laughed and got some salad on which he dumped A LOT of ketchup.
Salad was nice, ketchup was nice, so obviously, they'd be nice together. Or... that was Oscar's reasoning.
'I like Bertie Bott's too much.' He rolled his eyes. He liked the yummy ones, that was.

Quidditch?! That could take his mind off anything! He nodded excitedly.
'Got my own broom at home! Me and my brothers play Quidditch, or well... it's a bit like Quidditch, all the time!' He smiled. 'Are you a fan?!'
He stuck his hand into his pocket and showed her a Windemere Wasps badge. 'What's your team?'

That was certainly a new one, though she shouldn't be surprised considering how many Huffies were addressing Treyen so formally. "You can just call me Arya." It was much easier and wouldn't have her thinking she was in the presence of a professor all the time. Hehe.

"Very homey, just under ground level with a nice fireplace, round windows and entrances. The couches are the BEST." THAT she was certain of. "Plus we're on the kitchen level, so it's much easier to get snacks." Pause. "And eaiser to get to most of the classes." Not so many stairs.

Arya clearly didn't mind the questions, and at the next one she looked back up at the staff table, wiggling her fingers in the direction of Hadley, 'cause out right pointing was rude. Hehe. "That's Professor Hadely. She's really nice, a lot of the professor are." But one set students on fire, and the new ones she was kinda wary of after all the... commotion that was coming from that table, but she was still positive about this term.

"You can just call him Treyen." She griiined at her friend, knowing he must be getting tired of having to correct that. Heh. "And he was a prefect first. The Head Boy and Girl are chosen from rising seventh year prefects usually, the Head Girl is new to the student leader team." And soo nice, even if she wasn't her bestie. "So he's both, see? Hufflepuff prefect and Head Boy... leader of the prefects." She giggled at that and glanced over to the food. It had to be better this term.

"Yep! I have plenty of bags. Here catch!" Alyssa called out to Sophie throwing a bag of chips to her.

"Oh dear, you dropped your plate. Let me help you clean that up,"Alyssa told Oakey whipping out her wand, pointed it as his robe and said,"Tergeo" "There we're all clean now."Alyssa smiled holstering back her wand.

Alyssa nodded."That's cool. Daisy does know the school better than I do. Well you have a great dinner. Maybe I'll see you some other time in school. Welcome again to Hogwarts and to our House." Alyssa smiled at Oscar one last time before walking away.

This Alec seemed to be gentlemen too. How sweet! He'd definitelt be a good boyfriend one day, well to someone younger of course. Nessie grinned at him again, he was too kind. She sort of expected him to shout at her or have a hissy fit, like she would but all he did was thank her, what a gentleman! "Um..Sorry about that, I erm..get carried away." He was probably petrified of her now, which wasn't something she wanted him to be on his first day at Hogwarts. "Um..Miss Ness?" she raised her brow, nobody adressed her by Miss. "Yeah I guess it is, we're in the house of awesomeness." They really were. Hufflepuff was the best house ever.

How to explain to a firstie why third year was shocking? Hmmm...well basically she was just wasn't really ready to be in her third year. "Um...It's just scary to think I'm already in third year, it feels like only yesterday I was a firstie like you." She gave him a little grin. Nice? She was just being her usual self. "I am?" she asked doubting him a little.

One second, Nessie was just sitting as normal as anything, but then the next she felt somebody's armz go around her. She turned her head and saw one of her besties, Alyssa. "Oh..erm..well I'm here." she didn't understand why Lyssie was worried, they had seen eachother at Kings Cross hadn't they? She smiled either way and hugged Lyssie back.

As Ness pulled back from the hug, Lyssie obviously had to bring up summer again. It was like the a hundreth time she had been aszked about her summer, and she had really had enough of it. "Summer was okay." she said thinking she sounded like a broken record. "And how about you?" she asked.

Ness only now saw, that she had spilled the boys juice. She felt really bad, but before she could do anything he seemed to have fixed the mess on his own. Meh she was such a fail.

As the boy looked at her, she blushed even more. This was just too embarrasing. He must have thought she was the biggest freak ever. She put her hand over her face trying to hide, not that would help, but she did it anyways. Then afer a few seconds she peeked between then to see that he extended out a hand to help her up. Still blushing she took his hand and got up.

"Erm..yeah thanks." she said after fully recovering. This man was such a gentlemen. She sort of expected him to shout at her for bumping into him, but nope he was as kind as anything. "Sorry, about that." she said, her cheeks going back to normal.

Alyssa blushed the moment she asked Nessie how her Summer was because she had already asked her that question when she saw her at Kings Cross. Aaawwkkkkwwwarrrdd!!! So Alyssa tried to change the subject. "Are you looking forward to Quidditch? I know we have to try out first but I'm sure you'll get picked. I on the other hand will have to struggle. Hopefully I'll get picked because I enjoyed playing with you guys last term."Alyssa smiled internally rolling her eyes because she knew that she was blabbering.

Alyssa listened as the Headmaster made his speech and giggled when he instructed the students not to die.'It cracks me up every time I hear him say that,' Alyssa thought to herself. Then she straightened up when she heard Nimma the House Elf speak. She was glad to hear that the baby House Elf was still around. If they were allowed to go to the kitchen, Alyssa made it a point to check up on it. IT?? No the baby needed to have a name and do Alyssa decided that she would participate in helping Nimma and the other house elves name the baby. That would be a special assignment for this week.

Messer looked up when he heard someone talking. Was she talking to me? He looked behind him but there wasn't anyone behind him. So maybe the girl was talking to him. "Umm..Thank you, Alyssa. I'm Messer." he just hoped that the girl was talking to him. Then his eyes sparkled when the older girl asking him about Hogwarts. "Its beautiful. I can't hardly took my eyes of it." He can't wait to see the other part of this huge castle.

Thank Merlin the girl was alright. She could be hurt because the boy was like twice her size. "Are you sure you alright?" ~~Because if she's not they could like sue the boy :evil:~~ "Hello, I'm Messer by the way." he introduce himself to the girl. "Are you a first year too?" because she look like one.

Huh? He's not supposed to be here? "So are you saying you're lost?" he asked. Then the older boy said he's not. Now he was confused. Was he's lost or not? Okay seriously this boy need to make up his mind whether he's lost or not because his brain can't take anymore confusing thought.

Then suddenly all the chatter was gone when the headmaster stood an began his speech. What? What anniversary? He's not very fond of reading especially Daily Prophet. He always think that that paper was a reading material for an old man/woman. With those boring articles and stuffs.

Don't die? Eeeeppp! That's creepy. He didn't want to die in his first year. Eat your vegetables?! Really? Now the headmaster sounds like his nanny. Write to your parents? Hmph! He was sure that his father won't miss him that much. Yes finally the meal! FOOD!

Wait did he say HOUSE ELF?! Messer almost fall from his seat when the headmaster mentioned a house elf. Then out of no where the little creature popped in from Merlin know where.

Suddenly the plate and table were really interesting to him. He's poking his plate hoping to distract himself from the house elf. He can feel his hand begin to sweat. Oh please make it go away! A baby elf?! Oh. Can his day get any worst then this?! He made a note to not visit the kitchen unless its necessary!

Alyssa smiled at the younger boy's enthusiasm. 'At least there's one boy here who's happy to be here,'Alyssa thought to herself. She was disappointed to see and hear so many of the new students complaining that they had been sorted into Hufflepuff. She hoped that eventually they would change their minds because unless they transferred to another school, Hufflepuff House is where they were going to be in until they graduated.

Alyssa decided that she needed to sit by herself for awhile. As she looked at all the happy faces around her, Alyssa felt sad and despondent. The beginning of the term feast was supposed to be the happiest and most exciting time of the term for everyone, but somehow she didn't feel excited at all. She knew that she had to let the past stay in the past and look to the present and the future because if she didn't do that, this term was going to be a long one for her. Alyssa sighed. She wished that she hadn't changed her mind and had stayed in Salem. Claudia would have known what to do. Alyssa sat back and closed her eyes and prayed that the feast would end soon. All she wanted to do was to go down to their Common Room and up their Girl's Dorm and just lie down and sleep.

The house elves were holding a naming contest for their little one. Hogwarts had officially lost it. This will be an interesting year.

Keefer began to brainstorm names. Hang on, how are we supposed to name the creature when we don't know its gender? Although all the elves he had ever met didn't really have gender-specific names. So maybe that wasn't particularly important.

Minerva had been resting her head again since she was done eating. She was half listening to all the conversations around her. Her mind was around the castle already she was thinking about potions and transfiguration as well as her favorite spot near the stained glass windows. Minerva then sat up and looked at her friends "Ok it's time to talk about something important." she gave a little smile. "When should I plan the first celebration for the common room." she decided if she was going to stop the anxiety and panic attacks she would have to keep her mind supper busy with school and planning things. This would help her to be able to avoid the very busy places that might bring about her problems.

Harvey watched Minnie as she again rested her head again before turning to her fellow Puffs to ask when to organise the first common room party.. this made Harvey smile as he knew she was happy when organising common room parties.. at least she was talking of organising as it showed that she was at least trying to be comfortable around people without him.. so it made him happy and he would still be there for her and help her in any way that he could as he still loved her no matter what she was like. "Aww.. and without me there.. it will be quite boring, wont it?" he asked chuckling... knowing that it wouldnt be..

Could it be?!?! No he could't? Does he?!?!?! Why wouldn't he?

SPOILER!!: Alyssa & Sophie

He can't let it come out again. everybody else would see it as just an accident. But Oakey knows if he doesn't keep his bad luck in check that spilled plate could have been a flipped table. The fact that it only ended up as a spilled plate showed Oakey a good sign that even when his bad luck does peek through He can now easily retain it.

He smiled. That year off from school was good after all. I'm fine thank you. He spoke to Sophie. His Rabbit's Foot Charm now dangling from his neck for all to see.

Oakey reached into his robe to get his wand and clean up his mess, but before he could even touch his wand it all cleaned itself up. He looked over at Alyssa who had her wand out and pointed at him. Uh um oh uh, Thanks Lyssie.He hesitated in thanking her, wait he thought Why did I hesitate, why did she wink, AM I BLUSHING?!?! He felt his checks, looked at Alyssa then turned away just as quickly. He bent down from his seat and picked up his plate, and just as quickly filled it back up with food.

Harvey listened as Ame... was deciding when to have the common room party.. Harvey smiled at Ame "Yeah! I could do that cant I.. thanks Ame the robes may come in handy now... although one of yous will have to be there to get me through the door with the password.." he said chuckling as he said this.. ah he knew they would have a blast and that is what made him happy... that they would be happy in each other's company..

Alyssa noticed that Oakey was blushing. Why was he blushing? She hoped that he hadn't embarrassed him by helping to clean up the mess on his robes. Alyssa reminded herself that she needed to think about her actions before doing them. She didn't want Oakey to be embarrassed but she knew that she couldn't say anything now or it'd make matters worse. Then she noticed a rabbit's foot dangling on a chain around his neck.

"Is that a Rabbit's foot? That's so cool. I've seen Muggles wear that sometimes. I have my own version of the rabbit's foot. See?"Alyssa pulled out the wooden rune that she was still wearing around her neck. "We had to make a protective rune, last year in Ancient Runes class, and so far it's kept me from having a nasty fall down the stairs last term." Alyssa told Oakey.

SPOILER!!: Minnie and Amethyst

Alyssa smiled when she heard Minnie talk about about having a celebration party. Minnie and Amethyst did love having those parties. If it had been last term, Alyssa would be front and forward volunteering suggestions. But right now, she didn't even feel like partying let alone planning for one. Maybe one day she would.

He realized he might have just given away a little to much. If she found out he was a bad luck bomb waiting to explode she might not want hang out with him anymore. He turned again and began cramming food in his mouth again to keep himself from talking anymore.

That was kind of hard to believe. Alex being a hassle somehow. He didn't seem to have been that type of boy. Sierra, he could see.

Oh? She did? "That's...kind of mean. I actually broke my sister's wand once," his eyes went to the staff table for no apparent reason, "By accident, of course." And he never heard the end of it.

Her eyes drifted over to the staff table again when the speech was given, the prefect smiling to herself as she listened. Good speech. And totally an exciting term, as always, she'd read about her school in the prophet. She lingered over the staff table a bit longer to take in all the new faces before turning her attention to the food. YUM.

And he was about to answer the kid's question when Arya beat him to it. She even corrected the way Messer should call him as well. Though, he had a feeling he was going to be hearing 'Mr. Head Boy' quite a lot this term.

"It's very nice to meet you, Messer." A smile was given to this boy as well. "If there's anything you need...," the last part of that sentence was obvious, wasn't it? He ought to come to Arya or Treyen. Or any Prefect for that matter.

That's when he heard the last bit Arya said. Leader of Prefects? The smile slowly faded until it became a small one. That was...not at all comforting for some reason.

As far as food goes...he'd lost his appetite thanks to his best friend.

Minerva smiled at Harvey and kissed his cheek "It will be horrible without you." Minerva wasn't even sure she would attend if two many puffs were there she just wanted to plan it. She smiled at Amethyst that seemed to be super excited. "Well we can do it whenever everyone wants. A welcome back celebration might be fun or whenever just let me know so I can pull all my supplies out of my trunk with mom and dad in hiding my grandparents came through for me with my supplies." she smiled then looked at Alyssa who didn't seem as thrilled afraid some of last year was coming back to Alyssa Minerva leaned over. "Alyssa you ok?"

Harvey beamed "Oh thanks Ame! Oh we will have a blast!" he said laughing knowing that she was joking.. but it was ok.. he didnt need to attend a Hufflepuff party to know that he had friends.. he knew he had them and there were 4 right there in front of him.. his girl Minnie, Justin, Ame and Alyssa.. and others from other houses but these were his closest and he was glad to have them..
