Amethyst walked into the dormitory heading straight for the second years' room. She saw that Minerva was laid out, writing. Perhaps a letter to the others? She smiled and sat down on her bed as she laid back herself. "How you feeling?"

Minerva smiled at Ame. She had just finished writing to Ronnie and placed the parchment on her dresser. She rolled over to her side to face Ame with her little bear that a great friend got her last year in her arms. She shrugged "I guess, I always feel better alone in here or when you, Justin, and Harvey are around. So what have you been up to?"

"Well I've been walking around the grounds..." She blushed. She was very over protective, at this point and took every measure to keep Minerva safe. "I did some painting at the Lake early this morning." She had begun to outline the scene if the Pathways. "What about you, Min?"

Minerva sat up well it was time to tell Ame everything. "Well I didn't do much. I hung out with Harvey, talked to a few professors, and got to talk to Justin about things. We were trying to figure out why Edward couldn't use his gift on me like he did you two. I know he tried while I was in his... care lets say, because he use to get upset about it. I heard him talking through the wall." She looked at the floor "Umm Ame I also told Justin what all went on this summer while I was gone and Harvey knows as well. You know I take my medicine for my anxiety and the panic attacks. Well I need to tell you the big reason why." she leaned closer to Ame not sure if anyone would walk in while they were talking. She whispered to Ame and then backed back on her bed and waited for her reaction.

Laura decided that she should get up when she saw that everyone was leaving, it probably wouldn't be as much fun on her own, she slowly got out of bed and changed into her school uniform.

Amethyst looked wide eyed at her best friend. She felt tears about to pour out of her eyes as she looked at Minerva. She just could not believe it! Why would someone try harming someone they don't even know! She felt her anger build up in side of her, but she knew how to handle it. She pulled Minerva into a hug. "This is ridiculous. Kyle is going to find him---them. And she and my Papa are going to handle this." Sniffled as she talked.

"I..I know we are safe now.. here." Minerva got out when Ame had hugged her. "I just keep thinking if I would have just stayed in that room stay with..them then maybe Edward wouldn't have met up with your mother and wouldn't be after.. you."

Amethyst couldn't help but smile. She knew this simply was not true. "My mother asked the favor of him last term. She had found out the I was sent to Hogwarts." She kissed Minerva's forehead, giggling. She knew that Minnie was safe but she wasn't so sue if herself.

Ella hurried back into the dormitory, knowing she had forgot to take something with her this morning but not remembering what. She plopped down on her bed with a sigh. Common El, think. What did you forget? She jumped off the bed and began rummaging through her trunk like a madwoman.

charlotte walked back into the room and saw another first year looking for something she went over and said 'hi ella i'm charlotte would you like some help finding what your looking for?'

Ella was looking in her trunk with such enthusiasm that when she heard another voice from behind her, she fell over. She looked up at the girl with wide eyes and started to laugh. "Ouch. I am such a cluts! Hi Charlotte, I'm Ella!" She smiled and stood up as she rubbed the spot where she had hit the floor, hard. "Honestly, I know I forgot something in here but can't think of what it is. It's driving me nuts! I think I'll take a break." She shrugged her shoulders and jumped up onto her bed. "So, how are you liking Hogwarts so far?"

i'm liking hogwarts very much thanks ella, what about you i'm going to transfiguration on monday would you like to come with me

Minerva went and laid back on her bed. "Well then I helped him find you." she said as she put her face in her pillow.

Ella smiled, thankful for the invitation. "Transfiguration sounds so interesting, sure I'll go with you!" She began to think about what objects the students might be working with their first class. "Have you read up on transfiguration at all? I'm curious to see what kind of objects we'll be working with! I hope I'm not complete rubbish at it!"

Amethyst smiled looking at her. "No, you didn't silly head." She pulled her friend into a hug. "We'll be okay.." She looked at her smiling. "Now," She began, "Did I over hear you saying you were trying out for Quidditch?" She giggled, smirking.

Minerva hugged her friend back and smiled "Yes I am trying out. I don't think I will make it, but I am trying out. I just hope my experience on the broom doesn't go with the rest of my term so far, because if it does I might be in the hospital wing for a week."

Amethyst giggled. "I'll be at tryouts, cheering you and everyone else on." She giggled, smiling. "I've got faith in you, Kid." She playfully brushed her hand across her face. That's how they did it in movies, right?

Minerva smiled "Thanks Ame, why are you not trying out?" she looked around the room then sighed "Ame what is up with you and Justin? You two are starting to make my head hurt. So is Harvey for that matter, I think he likes someone else." she confided in her friend.

Amethyst smiled. "Because I'm not ready," She admitted to her. Then she asked about she and Justin. She looked down. "He likes Alyssa. But he says he loves me." She sighed. "We are together, and I think he wants to dump me. But I haven't been around because I've been looking for clues, owling the others, and making things for him." Then she heard her say something about Harvey. She laughed. "Harvey? No way.," She smiled at her. "Harvey is mad about you! I think you've gotten the wrong impression, sweetheart." She smiled. Harvey had always wanted Minerva. There was no way on earth he'd like someone else. And she bets her life on that.

Minerva laughed lightly. "Well Justin does love you. I just think he's at that confusing age, well at least that's what my mom says about me. Ame he does love you though I can see it in him." Minerva looked down "I don't know abut Harvey. I guess time will tell."

Amethyst chuckled and shook her head. "It will all work out." She placed her hand on Minerva's. "I know this simply because we have faith in each other. You, Justin. I, Harvey. I, You. Harvey, Justin." She smiled, knowing she was right.

Minerva chuckled "Yeah the four of us have been through so much together." she put her head on her pillow. "Way to much lately."

Amethyst nodded when Minerva laid back. "I agree." Amethyst smiled softly. Hmm. That somehow gave her an idea. She cleared her throat slightly. "Hey Min...what would you say to a double date?"

"Ummm.. well sure as long as Harvey and I have cleared the air."
