Tha-Thankyou. Oakey said catching some breath before spewing more candy into the chair/bucket.

He felt a little upset for the first year who had cast the spell on him. When he get's better Oakey will find this kid and tell him that it's okay and not to be unhappy.

He looked into the chair/bucket. It looks like Halloween came early for Oakey.

Everything happened so fast and Sophie was still shocked with Oakey's candy-vomit that she didn't realize Nate was leaving until he was almost reaching the boy dorms door. She was sure he was feeling bad about what happened.
"Wait, Nate!" she said going towards the door. She knew better and did not get very close. "Don't be upset! I know you didn't mean it! I'm sure Oakey knows that too!"

"I understand that Justin, but before when I was locked up when..." she stopped should she tell him or not her heart raced again and she felt her self try to edge away from him automatically. "and then when I was in hiding those few weeks why didn't he use the mind thing on me then or did he and it didn't work on me?" she was very confused by this.

Minerva got up when she saw Ame. "Here sit next to Justin. She sat down on a different chair. So what have you been up to." she decided it was best to change the subject.


OCC: Different time line...

Minerva saw a first year sitting alone and went over to her. "Hello I think we met at the feast, but my name is Minerva. How are you liking Hogwarts so far?"

Adeline heard a voice going towards her. She didn't know that someone was really going to talk to her it was a total shocker. "Hello." she told the girl. "Nice to meet you. I'm Adeline Holiday." she told Minerva. "I haven't been to many places yet but the places I've seen are really amazing." She smiled.

Nate came down from the boys dorm, and sat down by the fireplace. He gestured toward Sophie to come towards him.

"Well that's good. Are you excited to start classes? If you need any help just ask. Are you from a wizard family or all of this new to you? I was raised in the muggle world so I know how it feels to think this place is a little crazy."

Adeline looked at the girl that seemed to be talking really fast. "I am. I can't wait to go. No I'm from a muggle family. All of it is new to me." Adeline half smiled. She really didn't know what to say to the girl.

Sophie walked to the fireplace and sat down by Nate. "Don't feel bad, Nate." she said looking at him. "We all know you didn't mean to do that." she couldn't let him ruin his first day of school like that. It had been an accident, everybody knew it. "And you'll see! Oakey's going to feel better in no time!" she added smiling at him. She hoped so!

Minerva smiled at Adeline "Well I know how you feel. My mother was actually a witch, but I never knew it. She said she didn't do magic in front of us in case I didn't have magic in me. So when I came here it was so much different. I remember the first time I saw the house elves I about jumped out of my skin. You will get use to all the interesting things around here quickly."

"Deliver this note to oakey." Nate hands her a letter that is out of an envolope with teardrops in the middle of the page, and it says

Dear Oakey,
I am sorry for what happened. My sister taught me that spell, and I thought I could help. I just guess I didn't know what I was doing. It's ok if your mad at me. If I were you I'd be mad too.

Amethyst looked over at Minerva. She went upset stairs to get the medicine bag. She opened it as she sat next to Justin. "Which ones do you need?" Minerva was all pale and stuff. Had something happened? Whatever it was, Amethyst was there to help.

Sophie held the note and read it without asking if she could do so. "Oh, Nate, I'm sure he won't blame you! But alright, I'll take this note to him." she then got up and left the room.

Okay. So, besides leading the Hufflepuffs to the right Common Room (and really, he was making sure none wandered to the dungeons), then receiving Simon's owl...and heading straight to the Owlery to make a reply to it, Treyen finally made his way back to the Common Room.

FINALLY. Because he'll be free to rest now, will he?

Arya managed to leave him with very little appetite, which he regained on his way back and was now eating a muffin from the kitchens. Rather convenient, it was, that the kitchens were now open to students.

Either way, he moved the usual chair so it'll face the fireplace and took a seat. For the first time in quite some time he was tired.

Minerva smiled at Ame "I'm ok right now, I promise. So what have you been up to?"

Amethyst sighed in relief as she tucked the bag away under the chair. She smiled at her dear friend, full of excitement. "Well, I hope you all aren't doing anything after Charms, tomorrow.." She blushed deeply. She had just left her Slytherin friend who was really sweet for a Snake. "The Snakes wants to meet us at the new Duck Pond after Charms!" She giggled softly, leaning back. She was so tired. She was in full skip in her route to the common room.

Sophie came back running. She stopped to catch her breath and looked around to see if Nate was still around. She spotted him in the same place she had left him.

"Here you go, Nate." She said handing him the piece of parchment and sitting down again. She had ran really fast and was a bit tired now.




Sophie stared at the nasty - she knew it was nasty - pile of candy where Oakey had vomited in a few and made a disgusted face. She didn't know any magic to clean it up, and was most definitely not touching the candy. Blargh!

She saw that Treyen-Mr-Head-Boy (mehe) was there and went up to talk to him. "Hey, mister!" she smirked. She wouldn't call him by that giant nickname now, but she didn't feel like calling him by his real name either. "There was a little accident here earlier and a boy threw up all of this candy here..." she pointed. She was really grossed out. "Couldn't you... um..." she looked from him to the candy pile. She was definitely NOT touching any of it!

Minerva gave a weird look, "The snakes want to meet with us?" ok she might need her meds for that one. "Why do they want to meet with us?" maybe they were playing a trick on the puffs, but Ame was already headed towards the dorm. So Min got back up and sat right next to Justin again. She wasn't ready for bed and she was hoping to talk with Justin some more.

She hadn't minded when Treyen had left after leading all the ickle Puffs to the common room. The prefect had wanted to check on her belongings and to see how her pets were doing before meeting back up with him, and she wanted to grab Muffs. Her metal meerkat was curled into a sleeping position and so she was at ease.

Still oblivious to the effect she'd had on him during the feast, she took precious time returning to the common room, not surprised by the small groups of students still up. No one ever could sleep the first night back. Though Treyen did seem a bit more tired that usual.

"We've got a good bunch of Puffs this term, don't ya think?" She plopped into the seat beside him, placing Muffs beside her before her gaze fell to the fire. "The ones that wanna be here I mean, they're good."

A small smile made its way to his face as he heard the voice of the one person he expected to sit next to him. Arya. Her words only made the smile widen a little bit more, yet it wasn't its usual size.

"I guess so." 'The ones that wanna be here'. Right. He still had to take Tye to get "resorted". Now that thought made him smirk. "I kinda wish they'd stop calling me Mr. Head Boy, though." Mostly, it was a reminder of how little time left he had at Hogwarts, and he still didn't know how he felt about it.

He knew how he felt about something else, though. "I'm Simon's best man, by the way. I just replied to his letter." Now, he was glad to hear Simon was doing tons better, and the fact that he was going to be a best man was pretty cool...however, he still didn't know how he felt about the fact that one of his best friends was, indeed, getting married.

Mister? Well, he could live with that!

A little accident? "Is the boy okay?" That was his primary concern, though, if the boy needed to see the Nurse...then he could volunteer to take him. Either him, or Arya. Hogwarts was barely starting and there were sicks kids already? Not good.

Er, actually, didn't house elves take care of that? He supposed he didn't mind. His wand was on his hand before she could finish her sentence. One simple 'Scourgify' (and it was simple because first years tended to get the hang of it for Potions) and one 'Evanesco' (again, Potions) took care of...that pile of whatever candy the boy had eaten.

So, Treyen knew he'd said that if they ever needed anything they could call him...but this is not what he'd had in mind at the time.

"There. Taken cared of." And once again, he'd lost his appetite. Half a muffin will have to remain unfinished for the evening. Rufus will take care of that.

Ame had obviously been talking to fast. She had said Snakes. She blushed seeing the worry rush over Minerva's face. "I meant Snake...." She hugged both Justin and Minerva. "I going to write home, want me to add anything?" She asked them both.

"Oh Ok, just one?" she tried to smile but the anxiety was written all over her face. "Umm just tell Kyle to tell mom and dad I say Hi and I will write soon."

"Yeah, he's okay." Sophie said looking up at him. "An older girl - she was quite loud, actually - took care of him. He's in the hospital wing now." she then noticed he had already cleaned it all up. "Thanks, Treyen-Mr-Hea--" she stopped and grinned. "Not yet." she thought.

She actually noticed the smile and it's lack of size, but didn't say anything just yet. It was possible he was just tired by the long day, which meant no late night for the two of them. Fine with the prefect since she was drowsy herself.

Her own turned to amusement as she let out a little giggle at his new found title. "I think they call you that cause they like you." It was the only reason she could think for the ickles to start calling him that. Really what was not to like? She still didn't get how he truly felt about being Head Boy, clearly, but she did feel the same about their time left at Hogwarts. Confused.

Wait.... what?

"Simon Sabel's roommate Simon?" The former captain? Was she hearing right or was she just more tired than thought? How had she not know this? More importantly, what was in the water that had so many of her friends and former classmates getting hitched?

The young woman looked confused, but her head didn't leave the back of the cushioned chair, though her eyes did flick over to Muffs. Still good. "... I didn't know he was getting married." Or that he was dating. But then there was a lot about her he didn't know.

A concerned look flicked over her expression when a younger Puff came over requesting things from her friend and taking of vomit.

He could totally have that one.

Alyssa was glad when Sammy came over to help. "Thanks Sammy. I didn't know what spell to do to help him."Alyssa felt so helpless. She was worried about Oakey. She quickly followed them as they headed for the Hospital wing.



"Don't worry about that, Oakey. I'll clean it up when I get back from the hospital wing. I just want you to feel better."Alyssa told Oakey as she helped Sammy walk him out of the Common Room.

Oh, well, then everything was good. Perhaps the kid will be up and running by morning. Just as long as he didn't make the same mistake over and over again, then he'll have a bright future at Hogwarts, yes? Probably.

Treyen had no idea who Sophie was referring to when she spoke of the older girl...but, everything was taken cared of. So, perfect.

"No problem." Treyen was there to help, anyway.

He noticed, by the way, about the 'Mr. Head Boy' she was just going to say...but decided to let it go...for now.

Pfffft. Right. That was the weirdest thing Arya had every said. "No, they're teasing me." Like that girl, Sophie, he'd said before that they should call him 'Treyen', yet he knew (and he was right) that they were going to get their way and call him whatever they wished.

Truthfully, there was no way for him to be on top of them 24/7 and make sure of it.

Okay, wait, what?! Simon? No, Arya, not that Simon! She did make him chuckle, and the smile widened almost instantly. "Not that Simon. De Simpson. The King." As in the Hufflepuff Chaser that wasn't coming to Hogwarts anymore. The trouble-maker one that was forced to grow up in an instant. That same one.

"I still can't believe he's King now." Much less that he was getting married.

So, he almost understood what Arya's reaction had been, regardless of the fact that she'd mistaken Hogwartians.
