Alyssa beamed from ear to ear, when she heard that Aaron liked his Dr. Pepper Birthday Cake. She hoped that it tasted as good as it looked. 'Knowing Aaron,'as long as it looks like Dr. Pepper, he won't care what it tastes like, 'Alyssa thought to herself. "Happy Birthday, Aaron," Alyssa hugged Aaron and gave him a kiss on the cheek before standing aside to let everyone give him his birthday wishes.

She was glad that he was back here in Hogwarts. Alyssa smiled as she sat alone in the chair looking at everybody enjoing the party. Hogwarts wouldn't have been the same without him.

Aaron grinned at Minerva, his mouth too full of cake to talk and gave her the thumbs up. This was BRILLIANT. He had the best friends ever. EVER.
They'd actually missed him enough to throw a welcome party for him. Aaron! Aaron liked parties. Especially if there was Dr Pepper flavoured food. And a Dr Pepper shaped cake.
'BWILWANT!' He shouted when he had swallowed some of the yummy cake.

Aaron then spotted a girl he'd never seen before enter the common room. He waved at her as he ate some more cake, seriously, this cake was the lizard. She seemed... weirded out, a bit. But it wasn't every day that you saw Tigger eating a Dr Pepper cake.
'YOU SHOUWD YOIN AWS!' He called out. 'Awron!'


And then... some girl he'd never met decided to congratulate him. He grinned and nodded appreciatively. 'Why thank yooou!' He pointed at the cake, 'want some?' He shook her hand excitedly, the more the merrier, right?! 'I'm Aaron, but you can see that on the cake.'


'OMG OMG OMG DIZZY!' He shouted at her, she was the only one in the room who was just as excited as he was. He hugged her back and spinned them around, jumping up and down like a two year old instead of a 17 year old. 'I AM FREAKING SEVENTEEEN!' He shouted, sipping some Dr Pepper. He would only eat Dr Pepper cake and drink Dr Pepper for the rest of his life. 'I wouldn't mind if I did!' He took a bottle of Dr Pepper.
Best party yet. 'No ketchup though, sorryyyy!'
Aaron sat down at the table, staring at the cake but unable to sit still, so he let himself roll onto the floor and crawled back up again.
'DOES ANYONE HAVE TWISTER?!' Yes, he'd beat everyone, like the Twister king he was.

Aaron hugged Alyssa back, 'BEST. CAKE. EVER! EVER!'
Really. And best girlfriend ever. He smiled around the common room, he saw at least a few faces he didn't know, but he'd know them by the time this party was over.

Evelyn couldn't read when there were so many people talking and shouting. Sigh. She closed her book and was about to get up when the guy with the cake said something to her..

She got up and slowly walked up to him. Looking around, she realized that everyone seemed to be younger than her. Scary. Huh. Anyway, she stood next to the cake guy and raised her eyebrows. "Erm. I'm sorry but did you say something? I couldn't hear you..you know, over the noise."

Nate walked around the room as if he was expecting someone. Then he found a seat by the fire. He stared into it being in a deep thought.

Minerva giggled as she watched Aaron he was crazy. Then she saw a girl get up and come over. "Hi I'm Minerva. Don't mind Aaron in mouth full of cake language he asked you to join us. We are celebrating his birthday. Would you like some snacks or something to drink?"

"Hey Nate come join us. There are snacks, cookies, and some drinks."

Nate got out of his deep thought and saw Minnie was inviting him over there. He said "Ok hold on I'll be right there." Nate looked back over at the fire as if he wa expecting it to talk.

" happy birthday, Aaron. sorry I'm late everyone. " Justin smiled as he went to shake his hand.

Minerva saw Justin come in and went over to him wrapping her arms around him in a big hug. "Hey Just.. Where have you been?"

Nate walked over to the spot were everybdy seemed to be. He was expecting for his sister to call through the fire because today was his birthday. He had a glum look in his eyes. It wasn't sad or mad or happy, just bored.

Ella shook Aaron's hand, laughing at his enthusiasm. She looked down at the cake and her stomach grumbled. "Yeah, I'd love some cake! Thanks!" She hadn't realized how hungry she was until she was shoveling forkfuls of the delicious cake into her mouth. She stopped for a breath, frosting now coating her mouth like a mustache and beard. "Oh great, now I look like a bearded lady..." She couldn't help but giggle at the thought of her with a beard.

Nate was starting to get bored. So he reached for his bag and grabbed his herbology book. He started to read through it to get a heads up on what he might learn in a herbology lesson.

Ella saw a boy sitting by the fire and looking upset. She couldn't understand why anyone would be upset in such a fun atmosphere and decided she wanted to see what was up. She walked over to the boy and sat down hesitantly. "H-hey, I'm Ella. I know we don't know each other or anything but you look kinda down. Is everything okay?"

Minerva saw Nate looking down. "What's wrong Nate?" Minerva smiled at the first year and handed him a drink.

Nate looked up from his book and said "Hi I'm Nate. And yes everything is fine. For now at least."
"Oh nothing really. Just a family thing." Nate said as he took the drink from her hand.

Ella nodded, trying to give Nate a reassuring smile even though she was certain something was bothering him. "Nice to meet you, Nate!" She turned to look at him straight on. "It's really good to know another Hufflepuff...and if you ever do feel like talking, I'm a pretty good listener."

Nate looked back down at his book and started reading again.

Ella stood, getting the hint that she wasn't needed or wanted. She looked up at Minnie who was also standing nearby and shrugged. Then, she looked at Nate and in a meek voice said, "Well, see you around then." She headed back over to the celebration.

"K see around." After that he put away his book and took out a notebook. Then he took out his ocaraina. Which was made out of a turtle shell and a piece of wood. He started to play a song in his notebook that read

'Oh my Gosh! I'm so late?!' She thought. Amethyst had a Hufflepuff teddy bear she had for Aaron. She ran into the common room blushing. She was a terrible friend.

" Hey , gorgeous. Just doing my herbology homework. Rufus, my Fireseed, is looking great. " he answered as he hugged her back and gave her a kiss.

Nate started to play his ocaraina again. He had nothing better to do. So when in doubt make music! Hey that could be his motto.

Minerva blushed as he kissed her. "Awww my seed is Chuck. What do you want to drink pumpkin." she smiled and winked at him.

Justin saw the blush in Minnie's face and smiled. " Uh...how about a mountain Dew, Sugarlips. "

Minerva blushed deeper, "Sugarlips?" she shook her head and got him a Mountain Dew. "Here you go dear." she giggled and sat down. Looking around at all the people. "I am so glad we did this." she looked at Ame and Justin.

Justin chuckled a little a she mocked him and then handed him his soda. " well, you did call me pumpkin.....Thanks, Babe. " then he looked around and saw how well the party was going. " It turned out great. You did a great job. " he said as he put his arm arond her waist and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
