Salima gave a warm smile and sat there with Siobian in silence for a while before saying 'Well I'll leave you to it then and I better get going to the library and study.' Salima pushed herself up from the chair 'It was nice meeting you. Bye.' Salima walked towards the portrait hole then she was gone.

Justin was wiping the tears froms his eyes as Minnie said Ame's name. His heart jumped and he lookied over at the familiar girl with joy and elation plastered all over his face. He jumped up and ran to her and after Minerva was done hugging her ha wrapped his arms around her. Butterflies filled his stomache. " Ame! thank Merlin you decided to stay. I had recieved an owl saying you had left. don't ever make me or any of us worry like that again. Do you hear me?! " he said as he held her by the shoulders. " I can't do any of this without you in my life....you know that...I know you do. " then he smiled at her and kissed her cheek.

" Ame, Min and I are not a couple. I tried to tell you at the gate. I need some time to sort through everything that has happened.why don't you ever listen to me?" he pleaded.
" We all would've been lost without you. " he said as he gave her his famous little grin. " I would've been lost..."

Minerva listened to Ame and then Justin came over. She watched as Justin talked. When Ame headed up to the dorm Minerva went and sat back down her head spinning with all that was going on.

After Amethyst went into the girls dorm Justin looked over at Minerva. she looked like she was gonna go into a nervous breakdown. so, he went over and sat next to her and reached down and picked up her bag containing her medication. He handed her the bag and said, " I think now is a good time for you to take those pills , Min. " He smiled at her as he put an arm around her shoulder. " If you need to , you can put your head on my shoulder....It's been a long day. "

Minerva looked up and smiled "Yes I guess it is" she took her water and her medicine. Then she looked up and gave him a kiss on his cheek. "Thank you. I'm glad she is back."

Justin blushed deeply as she pressed her lips against his cheek. " I am too. School wouldn't be the same without her. " Then Justin moved a little closer to Minerva and said , " You know that I don't want to rush into anything, but I want you to know that....I think of you often. " Justin sat back and thought to himself...' What the bloody hell was that, Justin....You know it'll never happen. she doesn't want to be with you...'. Justin got up and went to fetch a drink... " Ya want a diet coke, Min? " He needed to get away from her...He felt like he may be crowding her.

Minerva frowned. She didn't want him to leave her side. Why, was that. She was so confused by her feelings. She loved Harvey, but she told Harvey she loved Justin to. She just wasn't sure what she was doing anymore. She placed her head in her hands. "Yes a D.Coke would be great."

She nodded and whispered softly. "I'm sorry." She felt her eyes starting to water, but she had to hold it back. She hid her hand, and looked down at his. He wasn't wearing the ring. "Glad you care..."

She looked at him. "I do listen to you. I'm just trying to protect you." She looked at Saber who knew exactly what she was talking about. He licked Justin's cheek, feeding him every bit of information that he needed. She was never made. She just knew Edward was going to attempt to come after her.

Amethyst blushed as she heard this.

Amethyst sighed as she turned back around. She was going to go and talk to them, but maybe Justin didn't want her anymore. She walked up the stairs as she spoke to him. "I can here you. We were never disconnected." She sniffled. This right here was why she wanted to leave.

Justin Got a glass and poured her D. Coke into it. Then he sat down next to her and handed the glass to her. " Here, Love." ' Oh my good Godric!!! Did I just say that? .....Alright, Justin slow down just smooth it out. Maybe she didn't notice what you said. " He moved over next to her and pulled her into his arms and just held her. " I read that book you told me about....When's Gobstones?"

As Justin settled into the chair with Minerva he heard Amethyst's voice. He sat up and turned to respond. " Ame, I was....disconnected. I needed to be for a while. When are you gonna realise that. I keep tell you...That's our problem. I listen and you don't" Justin could feel the anger building again and it wasn't good. He wasn't able to control it. The rage was like an infection...hard to beat without the cure.

She growled loudly as she gripped her chest. Yup. Her heart was officially broken. She nodded and walked out of the common room. "Okay. Call me when you need me, then, Wellheart. And I do listen. Why the hell do you think I tried to leave! I was trying to PROTECT YOU AND MINNIE AND HARVEY. YOU are the one who doesn't listen." She walked out, her fists balled up, her claws digging throw her hand slightly.

Minerva blushed as she heard him call her love. She liked that, but at the same time didn't know. Then Ame came back and Justin was getting angry. "Justin" she said putting a hand on his arm. "Your both hurt right now, but showing anger is not helping anything.

" I have always listened to you, Ame! And you know it! Ame, We're at Hogwart's ! we are protected, you'd be better off worrying about your studies , Ame. I haven't seen you at any of them. " Justin said as he stood up and walked up to her and turned her around by her arm. " Now, stop this nonsense and sit down. " Justin said forcefully. He had had enough of this crap. They all needed to heal from the summer and they needed to be together as a group of friends. Not a group of exes.
Justin felt Minerva's hand on his arm as she tried to calm him, but Amethyst had struck a nerve and he was having a hard time. " I know, Min. I'm trying. " he said as his fists were clenched.

Justin had touched her arm and BOOM! She looked at him. "Justin you haven't seen me at the studies and whatever because I'm using myself as bate." She decided to tell him the truth. It was clear now that he had moved own. "You act like I'm the enemy. And you say you want space. I'm trying to give you that. So we can be together again. But I just don't know what you really want." She said this calmly, and she knew there wasn't another way. She sat down on the couch and curled up as Saber calmed her down with his similar purring to her father's.

Minerva had enough.She got up and took Justin's hand pulling him away from Ame and then stepped in between. "Just stop it both of you. I am so sick of all the fighting. They have won, do you see this. The Amigos are no more." Then she looked at Ame "Your using yourself as bate? Unless your leaving Hogwarts to do it, which I think professors would not like that, you have no reason to. Edward can not get in Hogwarts. He is no where near here. He can't use his power and he can't get in. So stop and go to class. We need the bloody points right now. As for all of us. We are safe here and right now we might be safer to stay away from each other." She looked at both of them and pushed back past Justin and fell in her chair. She was done and over all of it.

"I never said we weren't friends." She didn't know what else to say.

Justin's eyes darkened with every word she said. " No, Ame we will never be together again. So, you might as well get used to seeing me with someone else if I want. I'm sick of this drama. I'm over all of it. I admit I was wrong to give you that ring ..and that promise....For that I'm sorry, but enough is enough. " Justin said crassly. Then he turned away and walked over to where Minerva had sat down.
Justin looked at Minerva in that chair and couldn't help himself. He had to do it. He had waited too long for this moment. He bent down and took her face into his hands as he looked deep into her eyes.....He pulled her to his lips as he kissed her the way he had always wanted to.

And that was it. That was all she needed. She was alone in this world. All she had to do was go the rest of this term. She nodded. She took the ring, necklace, and earrings off and set them in his chair. "Have it your way. Goodbye." Without another word, she left out of the common room.

Minerva looked up. "I didn't either, but with the way you two are fighting, Harvs and I are awkward around each other, and you don't trust me.. You tell me how friendly we are with each other right now." Then Justin started again.

Minerva watched as Justin came over and gave her a shock, but she didn't pull away. She knew she was being a bad friend, a horrible person, but at the same time she just didn't know. She finally pulled away and just looked at Justin more confused then ever.

She looked at Ame to hear her say good bye and walk out of the room. "Well what a mess." she mumbled.

" I told you to keep these....." Justin said as he held out his outstretched hand holding the set of jewelry. " .....I got them for you. You and no one else." Justin said with a sigh."
Justin just sat downand nodded his head. He had just realised how insensitive he had been, but then again it was the only way Amethyst could grasp that they were over.

"Nice meeting you too." Siobian smiled kindly then turned her attention back to her other new friend.

Minerva was still looking at Justin in a bit of a shock. Not that he kissed her but how she felt about it. She couldn't get the words to speak just kept looking right at Justin not sure who else was in the room.

Justin sat there and looked off into space. He had just been so evil towards Amethyst. why had she pushed his temper? He couldn't believe he had kissed Minnie right in front of her. And that kiss...Whoa! " Min, I-I am so sorry...I didn't want to do that in front of her..... She just wouldn't accept that I didn't want to be with her...." Then Justin looked into her eyes and said" ...I-i want to be with.....You, but I understand if you don't. I'm not saying right away or anything ,but just....maybe think about it? " As he blushed he cuddled next to her. Even just as friends he'd be happy...To know that she was there was enough.

Minerva looked at Justin and was shocked by his question. "What would Harvey say? It might ruin your friendship are you willing to do that?" she knew that her and Harvey were already awkward, but didn't want that for Justin as well. Then there was her and Harvey. She just wasn't sure. Se cuddled up with him and sighed. "Justin I just don't know."

"So, how do you like your classes so far? Everything about this place is fascinating to me so I'm pretty much in love with it all at the moment! I do have a special love for flying, though. It's just...just...so amazing!" Ella smiled as she thought of herself flying through the air and swerving back and forth to avoid those pesky squirrels.

" I do think he'd understand. But you've got a good point....It's okay, ya know... If ya just want to be friends...or whatever. I just don't want to lose what we've all tried to hang onto. And by the looks of things we're one short. " Justin said as he thought of Amethyst and shook his head. Then he wrapped his arms around Minerva and rested his cheek on top of her head. " Ya know, Min ...I love you ... as a friend firstly. It maybe for the best I stay alone anyhow..." Then he closed his eyes and drifted off into deep thought. What a git he was for hurting everyone himself included....
