The round door to your right will lead to the boys' dormitory. Each year has a room of its own, and if this is your first time here at Hogwarts, there will always be someone there to help you find your way. The rooms are spacious, furnished with comfortable wooden bedsteads, each covered in patchwork quilts.
Come inside and make yourself at home, get to know your fellow roommates, but don't stay up too late, you wouldn't want to miss any of your classes!
There are absolutely no girls allowed in the boy's dorms. Should a curious female wander through the wrong round door, her path will be blocked off immediately, and no spell she attempts will remove the obstacle.
Best to keep to yourself ladies, I wouldn't bother trying if I were you.
Nate came back up from the common room and saw that his tape recorder was gone. Poof. Wait if he can remember he saw a black cat in the dorm. Maybe that got it. Oh well.
A few hours later Nate comes back up to the dorm. He walks in to see his cat is sitting on something. It looks like a big old dusty book. Nate goes over and says "What are you laying on Dev?" The cat just meowed back. "Well fine don't tell me." Then Nate takes the book from underneath his cat. "Don't damage anything."

Justin walked into the dorms with his head swirling with pain. His arm throbbing , he adjusted the sling hoping that would relieve the pain maybe even just aittle , but to no avail. So, he sat on his bed and changed into his sweats and laid down. Hoping that he would sleep and it mght feel better when he woke. Closing his eyes he pictured how he had fallen and how lucky he was to have not fallen through broken ice.
A good thing it was that he decided to leave the Pitch earlier than usual, because then the Common Room was free of Hufflepuffs and he could simply wander into his dorm without anyone asking questions or congratulating them or anything.
All he wanted was some time alone, so he couldn't say things he'll regret saying later on.
So, a book was probably good right now...and RUFUS!
The little monkey was here! Or rather...on his pillow. Sleeping quite peacefully. Well, he'll take a seat somewhere other than his bed, then, he didn't want to disturb the awesome memory of James and Lexi.
A small smile was on his face, though, before he started to read...about...mmm...what was this book about? Was it even his?

Having finally gotten out of the hubbub that was the common room, Alec found himself wandering down the corridor of the boy's dorm, his hands clutching a big bag of gummy bears.
It was nice to just walk around in peace and quiet for a while. He didn't mind all the 'congrats' and 'well done's he was getting but it was also good to be away from all that. Especially after the drama that happened down at the Quidditch Pitch after the match.
Poor Mr Treyen.
And speaking of Mr Treyen... would the Head Boy be here somewhere? Not in the firsties dorm but his own dorm? Alec turned to look behind him. No one was coming... so maybe he could sneak in there and find the guy?
The twelve year old wandered down the corridor, trying to make as little noise as possible. Fourth year.. Fifth year... What year was Mr Treyen in, anyways? Sixth year... SEVENTH! Right? Right.
Alec poked his head round the door and looked around. The room looked... just as messy as the firsties dorms were. But the beds seemed to be bigger and there seemed to be more interesting things in this room. Like... was that a monkey?! Seventh years got monkeys?! That was awesome! He couldn't wait to be a seventh year now!
But no. He was here to find one of the cool, older guys on the Team. Alec's grey-blue eyes searched the room again and landed on... Blink! It was him! But he was smiling? And reading? Alec pushed the door open wider and wandered over towards the boy. He looked down at the bag of gummy bears and then up and Treyen and smiled.
"Reading is a lot better with gummy bears, Mr Treyen," he said, holding the big bag out towards the boy.

Having failed to find Treyen in the locker room, Keefer made his way back to the dormitory. It was deserted, as he had expected. But there was a lone sound of movement coming from the seventh years' room, and Keefer thought he knew what that meant.
He poked his head around the corner to find the Prefect supposedly engrossed in a book. Yeah right, like he could read after all that.
He cleared his throat to alert the Chaser to his presence. "Hey man, rough end, eh?" Yes, this was awkward. "But really, Vindictus has it all wrong. I know you'd never try to sabotage Ellie. And there's no way you could've caught her. I saw the whole thing happen." Well, there wasn't, and he had.
He didn't even hear anyone walk towards the dormitory, nor did he suspect anyone would come, it was early and the other three seventh years were probably out on the grounds or something.
So, he was slightly surprised when someone had spoken...and offering gummy bears? Huh?
Alec.
The boy was wrong. "Reading is better when your mind is set for it, actually." And it wasn't set for reading a book, not when there was too much going on in his head, plus...he couldn't even figure out the title of the book. A book that was probably Damien's instead of his.
But, you know what? "I'll take a few gummy bears, though. Thanks, Alec." Yellow ones, because he was such a Hufflepuff.
AND THEN...
...Keefer.
You know, Treyen would rather be left alone in the dormitory, especially if they were going to talk about what happened. At least Alec's approach had been about gummy bears. Keefer just went straight to the point...and woke up Rufus...who was sneaking into the bag of gummy bears and taking red-colored ones.
He sighed, and leaned against the back of the chair he chose to sit on, "I know he's wrong about the whole 'sabotage' thing, she wouldn't anything get between her and Quidditch...but...I could've caught her, I came pretty close to do so." The smile was completely erased from his face. Alec could probably learn a few things about this conversation, by the way, for when he grows up and deals with girls, "I keep telling how I only want her away from any harm...but...I...didn't do anything to help her." So, he failed her. Even after the game was over, he didn't come to aid her. Of course, his reaction was delayed thanks to Alec and the snitch, but still. And he just left. He didn't even check on her or anything. He just...left.

Momentarily distracted by the foraging monkey, Keefer returned his attention to his teammate. Good, at least he doesn't believe the sabotage bit. But the other part... it was as he suspected, then.
He clapped his hand on the seventh year's shoulder. "Look, man. I'm not exactly a girl expert or anything." A valid point, given his lack of female companion. "But if you care about her as much as you say you do, she can probably tell." Mostly because it was so obvious how smitten Treyen was with the redheaded Captain. Not Keefer. The other redheaded Captain. "And she's smart enough to know that you can't always protect her from everything, too. As long as you're trying, that's enough, I think."
And now came the part he wasn't sure about. The advice. "Look. If you feel bad that you weren't there for her, then there's an easy solution. Go back and be there for her!" She may even still be on the pitch. Or in the hospital wing with that little Indiana girl who was crying. "Apologise and ask her if she's ok." And it probably couldn't hurt to conjure up some flowers, either.

But before Alec could hear anything from Treyen, there was a cough from right behind him. He jumped and turned around to face the boy who was sitting there. He was pretty sure no one had followed him here and yet... Keefer was standing there.
... He was fast up in the air AND on land. O_O
Alec gave the Captain a small smile as he listened to what the cool, older guy had to say. He was... right. He was usually right. Treyen couldn't disagree with him. No way. Alec didn't know much but one thing he did know was that Keefer was right about this. Definitely.
SPOILER!!: Both of you!

Alec blinked as Treyen started to correct him. Wow! No wonder the boy was a seventh year and a Head Boy and one of the best Chasers ever. "That was very smart of you," he said, nodding, "When i need to concentrate, i eat loads of gummy bears. And then i read." They helped him and if they helped Treyen... all the better!
And he took some! YAY! "Anytime, Mr Treyen," Alec said, grinning at him. He couldn't help but feel slightly proud right about now. The Head Boy wanted his gummy bears! HIS gummy bears! Now he wasn't looked down at as 'the Seeker' or 'the firstie' or anything like that. This was good.
It was just as his mind was wandering off about the thoughts about the acceptance of gummy bears that he heard something close by him. He looked down at... the monkey! The monkey wanted his gummy bears as well! Alec bent down, took some gummy bears in his hand and held it up towards the monkey's mouth. Yay!
Alec looked up at Treyen as the boy started speaking. From the way he was speaking, it seemed as if the guy cared a lot about Miss Ellie. Were they best friends as well? Just like him and his Rilez? But that wasn't the point. Treyen seemed to be a bit sad. Alec couldn't help but feel a bit guilty. He shouldn't have collided with Miss Ellie or caught the Snitch before her.
"Keefer's right. You did a lot to help her, Mr Treyen," he said, "You tried to save her. She can't be angry at you for trying." No. Best friends always forgive each other, no matter what. Him and Anya always did so Treyen and Ellie had to as well.
That was the only smart thing he's said or done today, apparently. So, thanks Alec, that boosted his mood a tiny bit.
He couldn't help but smile at his comment and actually wish he was a first year all over again. Things were incredibly simple back then, and he'll have six more years to stay at Hogwarts. On the other hand, some part of him felt like he was more than ready to leave and be his own person out there...in WADA. And the rest of the Wizarding and Muggle world, of course.
"Thanks." For the advice, even though he doubted gummy bears could help him concentrate. Especially given the circumstances. "You can call me 'Treyen', by the way, the 'Mr.' part isn't necessary." In Hollian, according to Simon, he goes by Sir Treyen, though, just like Eino had called him a couple years ago.
Rufus couldn't care less about what was being said, at least this boy wasn't passing him from one person to another, like his previous owner, PLUS...the Head Boy had power, sort of, and was friends with people who had candy! And gave him candy! So, clearly, Rufus liked this new kid who offered him gummy bears...and treated him like a King, giving him the candy as well, he didn't have to take them.
Rufus climbed to the boy's shoulder and just clung to the boy, still eating a red gummy bear.
"He's harmless." In case Alec freaked out.
Back to Keefer, though. Confession time. "I love her. She knows that. And she knows how much I care about her." She does, they'd had plenty of arguments thanks to that. And how crazy he was as well. But he didn't pay attention to that bit.
The thing was...Keefer was right.
"She's said that before." That he couldn't protect her from everything, especially not in Quidditch. And she probably didn't want him to, but he couldn't help it, right? "Trying isn't enough for me." Because he was trying really hard to accept many things he didn't agree with completely, when he should just work around them. Trying, in this case, wasn't enough. "Vindictus was right. I should've been able to catch my girlfriend, considering she's all I care about, no?" Treyen didn't know how that really worked, though. How could you aid someone in mid-fall?
Keefer was so incredibly right as well. EXCEPT..."I'm pretty sure she doesn't want to see me right now. She just lost." And seeing someone from the opposing team...probably wasn't what she wanted. Yet all he wanted to do was find her, especially after Keefer said it himself.
He was considering it, by the way. He was still very upset about this whole Vindictus deal...and the fact that he dropped her broom just like that. The poor broom had nothing to do with this.
But...Alec.
He's a brilliant first year. The kid said the same thing Keefer did, only with different words...and...well, he was reaaally close to simply get up and look for her...but not yet. Will she be upset about something that happened? About her broom? About him getting in her way? Those were the things she'll be upset about, no doubt. And losing.
HEY, wait a minute. "Keefer...," he eyed him, curiously, "...congrats on the win, by the way." The Captain shouldn't be here, he should be celebrating or something.

Alec nodded. Treyen. No 'Mr'. Got it. Just like Keefer had asked him to all those months ago. He could remember that. "Treyen's a nice name," ... That didn't need to be blurted out.
Alec grinned down at the monkey. The monkey seemed to be really enjoying his gummy bears! Gummy bears always brought people together and now it was bringing him closer to this monkey. Yay! He had a new monkey friend! One who was climbing up onto his shoulder as well! "Hello little monkey!" he said, "I didn't know you liked gummy bears!" Anya would probably like this little monkey as well.
Alec held out some more gummy bears to the monkey as he looked up at Treyen and Keefer. This was slightly confusing for him but from what Treyen was saying, he cared a lot about Ellie. And he said something about 'love' which probably wasn't the normal love he felt for his friends. This was that icky adult kissing stuff.
... What had he gotten himself into?!
"When Rilez is upset, i stay with her and don't leave until she forgives me," he said, "The same could go for Ellie. You seem to like her a lot so she can't be mad at you for too long. Keefer's right, you should go and find her." Keefer was always right. And maybe using Rilez as an example wasn't good. Him and Rile were just best friends and Treyen and Ellie... they were something different.
As for the bit about catching his Ellie... "I don't think it would have been easy to catch her. She was after the Snitch and we were flying and..." He should probably stop speaking right about now. Keefer probably had something better to say. Him and Treyen did know each other longer than he knew either of them.
... Keefer needed to be congratulated! How did Alec forget that?! "Yeah, congrats Keefer!" The guy was amazing out there. And so was Treyen. Amazing, cool and guys that Alec wanted to be like one day. Maybe.

Seriously, what was the deal with this candy-eating monkey? And how is it that they were allowed to have monkeys anyways? But that was a matter for another time.
Woah... L-word alert! The Captain was sooo far over his head, here. "Well, if she feels the same way," because he couldn't bring himself to say... the L-word, "then I think you gotta believe she'd want to talk to you, just like Alec said." Especially if she was crying. Didn't girls always want to cry on the shoulder of their handsome-hunk-jock boyfriends? Maybe that was just a movie thing.
"Trying is gonna have to be enough, dude. It's all we can do. Besides, if you were somehow miraculously able to always protect her forever, that would make the rest of us look bad." Cue lonely despair forever. Or something like that. "And hold up! Your level of care and devotion does not dictate whether or not you were physically able to keep her off the ground. Those two things--not related." He shook his head. "At all." Because they weren't. "Now, if you had happened to have had your wand out and already pointed at her with a spell on your tongue and that didn't work..." he joked. "Yeah, I'll give you that one as a failure. But you didn't, so no failure."
And woah, mood change from both of them! "Yeah, I know I ditched the team. Don't give me grief, ok?" he winked. "No biggie. It just didn't feel right to be there, ya know?" And clearly he did, seeing as he had left before Keefer. "BUT. I think it wouldn't be too late to go back. You coming or what?" Hint hint. "Really, just come back with me. Be the big strong macho hero dude. Pick her up, hold her, let her cry, all that jazz." Man he hated seeing girls cry.
Alec was saying the same thing Eve did. That his name was a nice one. It was very funny to hear that coming from a BOY, but, "Thanks, I guess," the boy got a smile out of the Head Boy.
LITTLE MONKEY?! Well, if monkeys could raise an eyebrow, Rufus would be raising one as well. HE HAD A NAME. One that someone failed to mention, by the way, because he could hear, okay? This wasn't going to stop him from getting the gummy bears.
"He eats almost everything, actually." Every type of food, that is, except pumpkin juice, was it? Either way, Treyen was pretty particular about the stuff Rufus could eat, but he was allowed candy, it did no harm to the pygmy marmoset, apparently. "His name is Rufus, by the way." And he probably wanted to be called that, right? Instead of little monkey.
It was Treyen's time to listen to their Seeker. And...Alec wasn't so far away from what Treyen has done in the past. And he's asked to be forgiven repeatedly, in the past. Each time he didn't leave until an answer was given, regardless of the answer. THAT was the only difference. Alec didn't leave until he was forgiven. Cute. Clearly, he was very young. "You're a good kid, Alec. Don't change." Yes, that was completely random, but he didn't talk to Alec that much, might as well take the opportunity to tell him that.
He didn't comment on what he said, though, but he had his reasons. The main reason being that the kid was right, she wasn't going to stay mad at him for too long, if she was mad at him, that is. She just needed time. And frankly, so did Treyen.
OH. KEEFER.
Honestly, he didn't know. If she felt the exact same way, that is. He knew she wanted him...and that was enough, so, he didn't wonder about anything else. Thanks for the reminder, Keefer.
Mmmhmm. Alec was right. It wouldn't have been easy, so he nodded at the boy...but then Keefer started to talk again, interrupting the boy...and Treyen couldn't help but chuckle at his comment about how he'd make the rest look bad. Another smile made an appearance, but his eyes turned from Keefer and focused somewhere else. "I guess." Not a failure, then? According to the Hufflepuff Captain.
The congratulations for the Captain began and Treyen understood what he meant. It didn't feel right, at least for him, to be on the Pitch. Thank Vindictus for that. But the rest of the team should be happy and celebrating and such. Still, he nodded. Until he mentioned the going back part. Haha. Funny, he was. And Treyen laughed, softly, as he shook his head at the much-devoted to his friends Hufflepuff Captain. "I think...she's going to need her space today." He wasn't getting near her, that was all, "I need time, she needs time." Simple as that. And since he was still a little bit upset...he may start saying things he never intended to. "I'll find her tomorrow." Or the next day.
"You two, however, should enjoy the rest on the day."Wink. They should, they both did a wonderful job today. "I'll be fine, really."

LITTLE MONKEY?! Well, if monkeys could raise an eyebrow, Rufus would be raising one as well. HE HAD A NAME. One that someone failed to mention, by the way, because he could hear, okay? This wasn't going to stop him from getting the gummy bears.

Why yes, he had run out of advice-y things to say. He was a guy, what could you expect? "Well, if you're sure. Come on, Alec. Let's leave the man some breathing room." Keefer could tell he was being dismissed. Plus Treyen was being a downer, and he was right--he should go find his team and celebrate with them. Or go to the hospital wing and search for Lewis, who surely should be there by now.
As he stepped through the door, he turned back around. "Just.. make sure you do find her tomorrow, alright?" Because a lovesick Chaser wasn't his idea of a fun practice.

As he stepped through the door, he turned back around. "Just.. make sure you do find her tomorrow, alright?" Because a lovesick Chaser wasn't his idea of a fun practice.
YAY! Treyen was smiling! A proper, genuine smile! Alec couldn't help but smile back at the Head Boy. He was nice, really. No doubt about that.
And he had the most awesomest monkey ever! Who could say that they knew a monkey who liked gummy bears. Or... almost everything as Treyen said. Which meant he probably liked some other sweets as well. Rufus! That was the name of the monkey. Rufus! Ru-fus! Ru-fus! "Hey Rufus!" he said, grinning at the monkey.
At the sound of Treyen addressing him, Alec looked up to face the Head Boy. Treyen seemed to be... complimenting him? All he had done was bombard the older boy's dorm and start feeding gummy bears to Rufus and the Head Boy. And say some very weird things about things he didn't quite understand. That's all. "Thanks Treyen!" he said, smiling at the boy. Treyen thought he was a good kid! That meant he had to be doing something right!
His hand was still held up near the monkey's mouth as he looked between Keefer and Treyen, listening to what the two had to say about this topic. Keefer's reasoning was good. There was no way Treyen could back out and stay here in his sad mood after that. Alec wouldn't do that if it was him. But then again, Keefer could be pretty scary at times when he was Captaining.
What kind of made him happy was that Keefer seemed to agree with him. So he was saying the right things! Yay! And Treyen had said he's go and find his Ellie soon. Maybe not right there and then but soon. That was good enough for him.
Alec looked up at Keefer as the boy said something about... leaving? They were going? Treyen had said that they should go and he was the Head Boy so... they probably should. If he got a detention, it would be for throwing too many pillows at Messer, not for staying in Treyen's room for too long.
Alec took hold of Rufus and gently placed him on the pillow of a nearby bed. He then walked up the the Head Boy and smiled. "I think you're more awesome than gummy bears," he said, "And awesome people shouldn't be sad so get happy soon! And good luck with Ellie." One last smile and he turned around and walked towards Keefer and the door.
Oh, man, Alec was the nicest kid around, wasn't he? How could Treyen not smile at him if his sole presence brought unexpected joy all around? Exactly. He'd made the Head Boy feel a little bit better about all this...and that was a lot.
And he could tell Rufus was extremely happy to be called by his name as well. Yes, as well, because Treyen wasn't 'Mr. Treyen' anymore and that was a relief.
Mmmhmm. Yes, Keefer, he was sure of it. Mostly, he was sure he was the one that needed some time. He had no idea if Ellie did or not, but she was still going to get it. Liked it or not. Same goes to Keefer, he had to accept Treyen's decision, liked it or not. The Head Boy nodded at the Captain. Never mind how sweet Alec was, it was best if he left with Keefer.
Also, "I'll look for her. Tomorrow." Promised. It's not like he wanted to be away from her for too long, anyway.
OH. Look at that. Rufus hadn't wanted to climb off Alec's shoulder. Bad thing Alec wasn't on the Yearbook, for he would've given the monkey to him. Rules, sigh. The pygmy marmoset seemed ready enough to stick to that bed...but went straight to Treyen instead. Nice. It truly was. That was a company he could accept at the moment. Aslan's too, but that wasn't happening right now.
Wait, what?!
Blink. That was a compliment, no? Because he was more awesome than gummy bears. His smile widened. The kid was definitely something special. Too bad this was Treyen's last year. "Thanks, Alec!" For the good luck and everything. He doubted he'll need Felix Felicis for it, though.
Once the boys had left...he closed the book and put it away. There was no way he'll able to focus, right? Right.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Humming to himself, Jory headed up to his dorm. In his hand was the first vase he had transfigured down by the Lake. With its beaker like shape and blue and white flowers, Jory couldn't help admiring his handiwork.
Pushing his dorm door open with his left foot, Jory entered the now empty room. Looking around, the Puff tried to decide where to place the vase. "Should I put it by the window?'' he wondered. "No,'' he answered himself almost immediately. He wouldn't like to block out the view of outside.
"How about Oakey's table next to his bed?'' he asked aloud referring to his fellow third year Puff. As if the room could reply. Jory went over to the bed side table, shifted over a couple of things and placed the vase down. "I hope he wouldn't mind,'' he said to himself as he left the room.
When Nate heard about the news he ran up stairs to the room. He couldn't believe that the house he was in actually won the house cup. He was so happy. Especially since it was his first year, and hufflepuff won! So he searched in his pack to find something. Then he found it. Some blank banners. He would go back downstair, and start to write congratulations hufflepuff! Then he would put it somewhere. He would figure something out. He always does.
Lewis was lying on his back on his bed, sort of just staring up at the ceiling, fidgeting about with his sleeves absently. Refusing to think about what had happened earlier that week, his thoughts went back to the fact that his cat was still missing. Which was almost as depressing as thinking about the other thing. Yes, that other thing. The thing he wasn't supposed to think about but still did.
Because you know, by telling yourself not to think about something you sort of just think about it anyway. The worst thing about it was that he had absolutely no idea who to talk to about this. Or IF he should even talk to somebody about this. They'd agreed that it would never happen, could never happen again so that was that. But he still felt that unbearable urge to ask somebody for advice.
He had around a million things to do, but...none of them were going to be done today, anyway. Treyen was taking a break from everything. Well, not everything, he wasn't going to take a break from his girlfriend oh-so-willingly. Yet he was doing so at this precise moment, mainly for the Yearbook's sake. That's what he got to focus on.
However...
...as he walked back to the Common Room to fetch Rufus...his eyes caught the one person he'd been meaning to talk to since the match.
"Lewis," he said, as he stepped inside his dorm, "I know I said you shouldn't always pass to me at Quidditch...but I didn't intend for you not to play." And Treyen was, of course, joking. The smile on his face suggested so.
Until he noticed the worry on the boy's face. "You okay?" Was he missing home? Or something?
Lewis just turned his head on his pillow upon hearing his name being called. Oh, Treyen. Hang on, TREYEN! It was like a sign from the universe that he should talk to HIM right? Right? Yes, he was just going to go with that.
He just stared at the Head Boy for a moment, not really getting why he was smiling or that it was in fact a joke. "I was told to stay in bed." Lewis stated, a slightly confused look on his face, briefly forgetting what he had just been thinking about. "And I like passing to you." Because he had way better aim than he had.
Which reminded him...he had missed his last chance to play Quidditch with him.
But then he was asking him if he was okay. And all the thoughts about signs from the universe came back to his mind. "I kissed Kurumi." He replied quite bluntly, his eyes still on the other Hufflepuff's face. He had complete faith in Treyen, he had to know the answer.
He was told to stay in bed? But...Keefer never said anything. Or perhaps his Captain had meant to say something back at the Locker Room, yet changed his mind or completely forgot after the whole t-shirt incident. Probably. Because we all knew that incident had upset the Hufflepuff Captain a tiny bit.
"I...didn't know." Then again, he'd been joking, but he truly didn't know he wasn't supposed to play.
A small smirk made its way to his lips. Yeah, Treyen already knew that. From practices, anyway. And the games they played together. They were a good duo, truth be told. Too bad Lewis hadn't been at Hogwarts since year one.
Wait a minute.
Why was he looking so miserable? So...he'd kissed a girl. Shouldn't he be happy about it? Unless Lewis was in a situation similar to the one Treyen had been during that polyjuice potion disaster. "I don't see that as a problem, actually, why--," he stopped. And blinked. Did he say...? What...what name did he say? He...needed some time to digest this, and so he sat on the nearest bed for a moment.
Lewis said...Lewis said...Kurumi. He'd kissed Kurumi. Right? His ears weren't playing tricks on him or anything, THAT was the name he said.
Blink.
"WHAT?!" And he was no longer sitting. Nope. He needed to stand, and so he did.
Yes apparently it was. He didn't know? Hadn't Keefer told them? Or did they all think he'd just abandoned them for the last match of the season? "Yes, I had a concussion." Lewis said with a nod, a hint of bitterness in his voice. Why couldn't the Healer just have given him something and allowed him to play? It wasn't fair.
Rolling completely onto his side so he could properly look at Treyen he propped himself up on one elbow, just watching him for a second. Was he smiling? Lewis frowned a little, not really sure WHAT exactly was funny about this statement but decided to just let it go for now.
There were more important matters at hand.
Lewis' eyes narrowed for a moment, clearly confused about Treyen's words. Hadn't he heard him correctly? How could this NOT be a problem? And when he just left his sentence hanging open like that and actually went to sit down he was more confused than ever. Hey, he really wanted to hear the reason why this was NOT a problem.
The moment he opened his mouth to encourage him to finish his sentence, Treyen jumped up from the bed so suddenly it made Lewis wince and forget all about unfinished sentences for a moment.
WHAT?
He hastened to move to the side of the bed that was the farthest away from the Head Boy, just staring at him quite blankly, biting his lip. Did he want him to...repeat what he'd just said? "I...I..." He stammered, blinking quite rapidly a couple of times. "It IS a problem, isn't it?" See, he could've told him that a few moments early already.
The concussion stuff? Yeah, Treyen was only able to nod. He was the one having a concussion now, because...this, what Lewis had told him, was the most unexpected news he could've heard...at almost the end of term.
Wasn't Kurumi with Jonathan? She must've broken up with him, because Kurumi wasn't Treyen. She would've stopped Lewis from kissing her, just like Treyen should've stopped Sierra when he thought she was Kurumi. The Gryffindor wouldn't do that to Jonathan, right? No, she wouldn't.
But instead of assuming stuff, the Head Boy needed more...information?
He shook his head and tried to calm down a little bit. He...shouldn't have yelled. "I'm...sorry, Lewis...I--," he was rendered speechless, "I didn't expect to hear that." Honestly, he didn't. There were so many things he didn't know. "Like...when did Kurumi break up with Jonathan?" Treyen was well aware that the Slytherin was not at Hogwarts, and he was also well aware that the Gryffindor was going through a lot of things. Also, "Or the fact that you like her." Now, this he supposed to be true, based on Lewis' expression.
"Does she...like you back?" Important question.
And now the Head Boy sat opposite Lewis, on his bed. He didn't answer his question, and he knew that, but after Lewis answers his questions, then they'll see if it is a problem or not.
Yeah, this whole sign from the universe thing, it probably wasn't legit after all. Not if Treyen's reaction was any indication anyway. Lewis had NOT expected that. And he had also not expected to regret having told him in the first place.
Pulling his knees up to his chest, he hugged them like a five-year-old and just settled with watching Treyen work his way through what he'd just told him. The Head Boy seemed to be even more shocked by the news than he was which was kind of...weird.
He didn't really react to any of his words at first, not really knowing why he was apologizing or what he was supposed to answer. So he just shook his head a little until one of his questions made him freeze, and he just sat there with his head slightly cocked to the side, a look of panic mixed with guilt on his face.
"She...didn't...hasn't...won't." Lewis stumbled over his words a little, not really looking at Treyen but blushing nonetheless. See, THAT was the main problem. There was still Jonathan which made this whole thing even more complicated than it normally would be.
Does she...like you back?
At this Lewis did glance back up, swallowing hard as he just stared at Treyen for a moment without actually seeing him. This was a very good question. She'd said so but how could he be sure when she had a boyfriend who she - as far as he knew anyway - wasn't about to break up with. So instead of answer his question, he settled with pointing out exactly that. "She has a boyfriend."
Yes, it had kind of been a rather evasive answer which was why he'd also averted his gaze down to his hands.
Why was he looking at him like that? Treyen began showing more concern than the one that was necessary...but the Hufflepuff Chaser seemed to be panicking, no? And the Head Boy really didn't know why he'd do so. He'd only asked one simple question.
Okay, two. And they weren't simple, but still.
O_O
What? Which one of those words were?! Actually, it didn't matter which one, because all of them meant one thing: she was still with Jonathan. And...this didn't make sense. Because, as he previously thought, Kurumi wasn't him. Leaving that aside, since it'd get everyone nowhere, the important one was Lewis.
Yet he could only think of Kurumi and how he should go look for her just to make sure she was doing okay. It's been a while since they spoke, after all.
But, right, Lewis.
Treyen smiled. Out of all the times a smile would be suitable, this wasn't, but it was rather nice to see Lewis blushing. He really liked her, no? And Treyen couldn't blame him. Quite frankly, "The only problem I see here is Jonathan." He knew Kurumi, and if she allowed the Hufflepuff to get so close...was because she liked him too, at least a little bit. So, Treyen's question was answered by himself. Nice. "The kiss itself is not a real problem." He was taking it all lightly now, yet he knew how many problems a single kiss could bring.
A lot. Lots of problems. But...for Kurumi and Jonathan. Not really for Lewis.
