HoM Lesson Two: In the Chamber of Secrets
 

After walking around the dark dirty tunnels you come to a halt at a large circular metal door with a snakelike design. Scabior once again mimics the snake like language and the door opens to reveal the much talked about Chamber of Secrets. Scabior steps inside first before ushering you and your classmates in. No worries the snake statues might be a bit scary, but the Basilisk died so long ago that the chamber is completely safe.

As you step into the Chamber, Scabior hands everyone a small piece of parchment with a list.

"Explore. Take a look around. And whoever is able to find all the objects on the list gets extra points. You have an hour down here."

OOC: If you don't want to participate in this part of the lesson you don't have to. This of this part like the homework. It is a scavenger hunt and you will be guided by Scabior. Scabior is here the whole time, so any questions or anything should be addressed to him. No one should RP leaving this thread before he says so.

This thread will be open for exactly a week. There are numours amounts of the items on the list however, only the person who finds them all first will be awarded the extra points.

Ella followed Professor Scabior into the Chamber of Secrets, looking around with wide eyes. She shuddered a little, looking at the scary snake statues but decided to try and be brave. She took the list from the Professor gingerly, looking down at the items. She was ready to start exploring, wanting to find as many items as she could.

Vickers found the tunnels were very confining and disorienting-- and that was already with the Professor leading the way. His imagination was running wild on what a hapless victim couldve ended up feeling knowing that a gigantic snake that can swallow them whole was just lurking around these dark corners.

Still enthralled by the door of the actual chamber, the Ravenclaw found himself staring at the parchment the Historian has thrust upon them. He took the parchment and read through the list "They're items that would've been found here when Harry Potter saved Ginny Weasley."

He looks up and glances around. Now where to start?

After the tunnel ride, Jen looked at her list
Hum...where to start, it's dark down here...

Minerva looked around "Lumos" she said to light up her wand. She needed to see as she walked around. She looked at the list to see what to find. She walked towards one of the tunnels. She put her wand towards the ground and began to search for any items she could find.

The tunnel ride had been a bit faster than Daichi would have thought and as he exited the tunnel. He wanted to get up but tripped on his own feet and with a groan he pushed himself up from the dirty floor. Great, and he thought sitting in the bathroom had been disgusting.

Brushing off the dirt, Daichi quickly followed the rest of his classmates until they stood at another door. The Professor used the snake language again and as the door opened Daichi's mouth dropped. The room was...wow. It had a scary feel to it but at the same time it was fascinating. A list was pushed in his hands as he was looking around and the Slytherin looked down to see some items written on it. So they had to find these things right? Shouldn't be hard...

Now... where to find them?

Kurumi's mouth had been hanging open the entire time she had been sliding down into the Chamber, but no sound had come out of the Gryffindor - which was probably a good thing. After summersaulting a few times, the prefect had somehow come to a stop and had managed to stumble around with enough grace to keep up with Professor Scabior as he lead then through the tunnels and...*gulp* INTO the actual Chamber. SEE he could speak the language of snakes! Granted, they had just discussed how Ronald Weasley had been able to mimic the sounds and open it...BUT STILL!

And, only an hour? What was it with this man and one hour time limits? It had been the same in the lake too...an hour long you'll have to look...

History was repeating itself, how ironic.

Wand at the ready, Kurumi began to walk around and...decided to be all Gryffindor about it and march straight up to the face of Salazar Slytherin and look inside his open mouth. Anything in here?

Nate came dpwn the tunnel from where he jumped screaming, but not to loud. Not like when he saw the chimaera in the vegetable patch. He then landed with a big thump! He then walked into the chamber. If Nate was to use three adjectives to describe the place he would say dank, dark, and smelly. It reaked of dead bodys. Well to him it did. He wasn't sure about the others. Nate then heard the teacher say take a look around. So then he started to wander around the wierd dungeon. He looked around all over the place. As if he was expecting to find something. Like a fake basilisk fang or tom riddle's diary.

Lily carefully stepped into the chamber, following her classmates.
This.
Is.
Creepy.
That was all that the first year could think about. She hated ghost stories, or anything that was scary. And this... this was exactly what Lily did not like. But since it was part of the class, Lily worked up the courage to continue with it.

Looking at the sheet of paper that she was given, Lily realized that they would have to wander about looking for these things. Holding her wand at a location that allowed her to see around, the little ravenclaw looked around trying to figure out what they were going to have to do in order to find the hidden objects.

During the whole journey down the tunnel, Violet had been screaming at the top of her lungs. She hit the bottom of the tunnel, fell over and rolled to a stop. Her throat was sore and raw and gulped loudly at the sight of her new environment.

The room was vast and frighteningly enormous. Her footsteps made a *tick tack, tick tack* sound as she walked farther in. So they were to do a scavenger hunt eh and only an hour in here? What was with that short amount of time to find all these items in here? She brushed herself off and started towards one of the snake like statues by the sides of the wall. There ought to be something in the big gaping mouths right? The Ravenclaws really need to catch up on points. They were so close to being first.

Now, was she allowed to team up with another fellow Ravenclaw and find the items on the list?
"Any Ravenclaw want to team up with me to find the items?" she called out. her voice echoed and she looked down at embarrassment for doing that.

Anybody want to team up?
 

Alyssa entered the Chamber of Secrets and her mouth opened in awe. So much history happened in this place. She listened as the Professor described what he wanted them to find. She quickly jotted them down in her journal before looking around and exploring the area.

Ahhhhhhhh!

Auggie's suprise was heard throughout the tunnel as he fell down into the abiss from the hole in which he had jumped into from above. After coming to an end at the shute's mouth, August stood up and brushed himself off. Part of him couldn't imagine Salazar Slytherin going down that giant slide himself but who knew--maybe he was a child at heart? an EVIL one

Walking forward into the what was apparently the anti-chamber, the Gryffindor crowded in with the other students as Scabior did the funky snake langauge again which still freaked him out. The door slid open and now they were entering the Chamber itself.

Auggie stepped in and took a list for the scavenger hunt and then began to look around the place to see what should start them off.

Noticing Kurumi poking around at the giant mouth of the Salazar Slytherin statue he came up beside her and looked at the guy. "He sure had long hair didn't he?" The giant, 'flowing' cement locks stood frozen above them.

"You don't think the Slytherins will have an unfair advantage over us do you?" he said thinking of Seirra Greingoth, the Minister's daughter as he started snooping around Salazar's nostrils.

Kurumi stuck her wand deeper into the man's gaping mouth, but it was still hard to see much with just her wand. She needed to...get INSIDE it...and was just about to when August appeared, erm, over her and had both arms stuck up Slytherin's nose. Ew. "Um...yeah...I suppose he does. Odd considering how so many pictures of him show him bald...wonder why that is..." Hair envy much?

Glancing over her shoulder, Kurumi shrugged. "Considering how previous lessons have gone down, you never know." Namely how she had been accused of cheating during the whole apple game last term when she had simply been doing what Evelyn had TOLD her to do - spit the apple out. It had caused Gryffindor to lose the game that they had clearly been winning.

"Hey, August, I think this is big enough for me to crawl through..." she said as she already had her head inside. Waving her wand around a bit more, Kurumi could really only see concrete and more concrete, but there WAS a path here that had obviously been used once by the basilisk himself. Creepy.

Slowly, Kurumi wiggled her way inside more, leaving the lower half of her body sticking out.

"Hey he WAS bald." Hmmm....weird dude wanted hair. "Maybe that's why he was so mean?" He was jealous of all those who had hair and he didn't. Surpising that didn't make the history books, that at least was a reason.

Crawl in?! "Kurumi are you CRAZY? You can't go in that!" He hissed (no pun intended) to the Gryffindor Prefect. He stood there, looking around, specifically at Scabior, as she wiggled around in the mouth, her legs in the air.

"Pssst! Do you see anything?" he said quietly, no answer. "Kurumi?!" Again no answer. Well did she see anything or not? "Move over I'm coming in too." Auggie stood up on his tip toes and gingerly pushedshoved the girl's backside to make room for himself. The boy's upper half too disappeared in the mouth of Salazar Slytherin.

He had him a snack of lions.

Alyssa quickly checked her list again.



She knew that her chances of finding all of them were pretty slim, but if she didn't start looking for them, it would be totally zero. So unholstering her wand, she said "Lumos" to light it up and started looking near the large statue of the Basilisk.

Evelyn followed Scabby through the dark, scary and incredibly smelly tunnels, hoping they would reach the Chamber as soon as possible.

However, soon enough, she stumbled into the Chamber. The actual Chamber. The Chamber she'd been reading about a lot. She could feel her jaw drop in astonishment. Wow. It was..impressive and quite scary. She stood looking around for a moment before took the parchment from Scabby. She read through the list of items and...stared.

Now..to search for the items.

Violet saw another student sliding down the tunnel. Maybe she could team up with her? She already saw that the girl was a Hufflepuff, but could the professor split up the points somehow if they worked together? "Lumos she said and her lit wand led her to the girl. Violet walked up to the student with a big smile on her face even though her uniform was absolutely disgusting. "Hey there! Do you want to team up and look for the items together?" She held her breath, hoping that the girl didn't despise Ravenclaws or something.

Alyssa smiled. "Sure why not. Right now I'm looking in each of the Snake head's. I hope that you're not afraig of tight places." Alyssa told the Ravenclaw.

Alyssa crawled into each of the Snake heads. "This would generally where a Snake Fang would be, so a fake snake fang would most likely be hidden here. Come on where are you?". Alyssa climbed out of one Snake Head and entered another. She pointed her lit wand into the darkest corner of mouth, slowly backing out as she got closer to the entrance of the head. Still no fang. "Move on the next head, Lyssie"

Ella was too frightened to stray far by herself so she decided to circle the chamber, the light coming from her wand pointed at the dark crevices she found. Perhaps one of the items was hiding in the shadows and she could find it.

Screaming her way down the chute, Elise shut her eyes until she fell with a thud onto the hard floor. Well that was just painful. Picking herself up, she felt around her pocket for her wand.

Ah, there it was!

Pulling it out, she raised her left hand. "Lumos," she whispered, willing the light to come on. It wasn't like wands had batteries, anyway... And so Elise started walking towards the statue of Salazar Slytherin, taking her shoes off and slipping them into a hidden section of her bag. This way, if there was anything on the floor, she'd feel it before she destroyed it.

Shining the light under one of his feet, she saw something that seemed suspiciously like...

A cobweb. Yay!

"Professor?" she called in the dark. "Is the actual sorting hat here, or is it a replica?" Just because she was curious.

Anybody want to look with Oakey?
 

Oakey had a feeling that Scabior would lead his class to the Chamber. As he entered the Chamber he took out the list of things to find and his wand.

Oakey lit the tip of his wand with the lumos charm, and walked over to one of the many snake statues. He looked at the snake baring it's fangs, Oakey knew it wasn't real, he knew it was just stone. Oakey felt petrified anyways. He shook his head to remind him that this place wasn't dangerous anymore. He got on his knees and skimmed the top of the water with his lit wand

After a few minutes of seeing nothing in that pool of water Oakey moved to the next one, moving himself closer to the giant Salazar Slytherin face.
Rolling up his sleeve he dunked his hand into the pool of water and moved his wand around to see if he could spot any of the said items on the list.

Ignoring August's hair speculation, Kurumi continued to point her wand at all the dark crevices within the tunnel that was Slytherin's mouth or, erm, throat as the case may be. Wait...she thought she saw something. Pointing her wand in the direction of something that happened to catch the light of her wand, Kurumi was just about to inspect it when...

Hey.....HEY?! Was August seriously pushing her...her...her bum? Now this was awkward...really really awkward. "Move over? August, this tunnel-throat-thing is too narrow for me to move over. I'd have to go fo---" But August seemed to have figured that bit out for himself and for the second time in the span of five minutes the Gryffindor was sliding in the Chamber of Secrets and ending said slide with a summersault.

*THUMP*

Kurumi landed face down on the ground of a slightly wet stone floor, now fully inside the head of Salazar Slytherin. "It's really creepy..." she said to herself as she pushed herself up and retrieved her wand from a nearby puddle, casting Lumos again to lite it. "I wonder if its brains are still in here..." she mused to herself as she rearranged a quote from a certain movie. The situation DID remind her of it. Creepy place. Creepy things. Inside the head. Just don't let there be a pack of hyenas inside here please.

Now that the tunnel mouth thing was not so cramped, because he had pushed the Gryffindor Prefect clog out, Auggie slid in and landed gracefully on the floor of the place beside Kurumi, not noticing her fall and all that. "That went better than I thought." Yeah for him.

"This place is creepy, do you think the Basalisk was here once?" he said the obvious question more for effect to wrap up the whole creepy vibe. His wand was lit and he looked around him, wondering if maybe snake skin would be in here at least.

Evelyn started to roam around with the parchment in one hand. She had her wand in the other which was pointed forward, the light enabling her to make her way through the darkness. Okay, so..she really found the whole chamber quite magnificent but it was a little eerie as well. Not little but REALLY eerie.

She pointed her wand up at the statue next to her and literally freaked out. It looked so realistic with the light shining in it's eyes...weird. While looking up, her feet were still moving forward and she accidentally bumped into someone who was walking ahead. "Gosh, I'm sorry. I wasn't looking.."

Alyssa backed out of the serpent's head only to bump into Oakey. "Ooops sorry Oakey. Are you searching alone? Would you like to join us? I don't know the Professor is going to divvy up the points but we can worry about that later." Alyssa offered her friend.

"I was looking in the snake heads too. So far nothing I've found." Violet poked her wand into one of the large snake head mouths and peered inside. No snake fang there. She looked into the the next snake head. "Hey, is that snake skin in there or the trick of my wand?" Violet beckoned her partner closer to check it out. Had her partner called her Lyssie or... "My name's Violet by the way and smiled at the girl.

I think we have to wait for the Prof to give the clues?
 

"Hi Violet my name is Alyssa but all my friends call me Lyssie, so you can too. This is Oakey by the way. He'll be joining our team. I hope you don't mind. You found a snake skin? Really? That's great. Let me see."Alyssa quickly crawled in to have a look. "Nope. It sure looks like one but it's a leaf. Darn it. I thought you had found one of them. But great eyes though. I think that we're going to need attentive eyes like yours to find what we need. Let's keep looking."Alyssa told Violet as she headed for the next Snake head and crawled inside.

Oakey was so busy searching for something in the water that he hadn't noticed Alyssa back up into him. Whoa Oakey almost lost his balance and would have fell into the pool himself. caught himself at the last second letting his wand hand fall deeper into the pool of water. Hiya Alyssa Oakey said getting back to his searching. I was searching alone, but we can team up if you want. He looked beside Alyssa to see that she had already found someone to look around with, and a Ravenclaw at that. Hopefully this Ravenclaw wasn't crazy.

Scabior had been in the Chamber once before. The day before in fact. To make sure that everything was safe and the scavenger hunt could actually happen. He simply stood by the chamber door, wondering if anyone would notice....

Auggie had been looking about the inside of the Salazar head Kurumi and himself had snuck into and as he looked around the place, having been in better spirits than his friend. There had to be something in this place, it was too good of a hiding spot for there not to be.

After shining his light on as many of the nooks and crannies he could find he turned to walk back to the hole they had climbed in from. "Kurumi, maybe there's stuff outside. I don't see anything in--OW!!" Auggie's foot had slammed into a box hidden in the shadows.

"Who would put a box in here?!" he shouted, cursing the fool who had done it. Wait....Professor Scabior...the scavenger hunt, this was it! "Kurumi I think we need this." He whipped open to reveal the stuff cats.

"We got cats!" he announced to the prefect excitedly.

OOops Am I supposed to hear the Professor? Going to edit not hearing him.
 

Alyssa continued to look deep inside the Snake Head. She climbed all way to the back of it and her wand's light shone on something stuck right inside. She reached inside, her fingers barely brushing the thing so she shoved herself further in, until her fingers managed to get a grip on it. She pulled it out and it was a small statue of a boy with FANGS...Snake Fangs? Alyssa held on to the boy with the Fangs quickly backing all the way out of the Snake Head and showed it up to Violet. "We found one Violet. Fake Snake Fangs. Oakey how are you doing at your end?"Alyssa called out to Oakey.

Holding her light high above her head, Kurumi was a little disappointed that there wasn't...MORE in here to look at. Just blank walls and lots of shadows to poke her wand in and attempt to illuminate. Maybe she should just cast Lumos Maxima. Just as she was about to do so, she heard a loud thud and August shouting.

"Wait, huh?" CATS? There were cats in here? Kurumi glanced down at the list. Oh, right, stuffed ones. Well that was a relief. Kurumi then rushed over to August abd picked up one of the cats herself. "Cats! I'm glad we found one of these even if the thought is rather morbid." Petrified cat and all.

Making sure to not let THAT cat out of the bag, Kurumi closed the lid on it and then spotted a pathway. "Hey, let's follow this," she suggested, leading the way.

They walked for a bit, but then eventually exited out of Slytherin's left ear. Woah...it was sort of high up here. Waddling ever so slightly, Kurumi made her way on top of Slytherin's head. "August...isn't this sort of...empowering being up here. I mean, we are standing RIGHT where he did it." Meaning where Harry Potter had stabbed the basilisk with the Sword of Gryffindor.

Glad that he now had a petrified cat, well for the scavenger hunt anyways, Auggie looked to where Kurumi had wondered off to. They still had to eb careful, they didn't want to fall into any dark chasms and be stuck there for days or anything.

The path they were going on began to lead upwards slightly and when the exited into the light again, they were coming out of a giant ear. He was alone again when he stopped looking down at all the tiny students and Professor Scabior from their perch, but after looking for a second he saw Kurumi standing at the center of Salazar's head.

"It really is, I can't believe we are here. Honestly how many other wizards and witches can say they will have done this?" he said quietly, slightly in awe. "But as awesome as this is, we can't let it get to our heads. Do you think there would be anything up here?" Harry Potter had slain the thing from up here, had he not?

Oakey decided there was nothing in the pool of water so he took his arm out and adjusted himself so that he could lean back and look up at the ceiling of the Chamber.

His hand brushed across what felt like something scaly. Lifting it up he was surprised to see that the snake skin was sitting next to him all along. He picked it up off the ground and stood up gripping it tight.

Taking out his list he scanned it until he came across snakeskin and marked it off.

Alyssa lookie here I found one! He said, waving it around in the air.

Right now, Kurumi didn't even care that they were supposed to be on a hunt looking for objects. LOOK where they were standing! It was hard to imagine a creature so large that it reached up here, but it had. Her and August were standing on a piece of history, following in a Gryffindor's pawprints as the case was. It was...moving to say the least, and Kurumi just stood there quietly taking everything in.

But then August snapped her back to the task. "Right, we can't get ahead of ourselves. How about you look over there," she said, indicating with her wand to the right. "And I'll search around over here?" More on the left. The man's head was rather MASSIVE and full of crevices and dark corners where things could be hidden in. So, off she went with her wand in hand.

Gideon had continued walking, his pace slow as he moved his wand gradually from side to side to cover his bases. So intent on where he placed his feet and sounds being distorted by the echoes the cavernous room created, he didn't register the girl coming up right behind him until she bumped into him. The action jostling him forward and into the puddle that he had just been about to come to. A puddle he might have skirted cautiously considering how it appeared in the shadow.

Great...just great...he mused finding his feet wet even as the girl---the hufflepuff as he looked back around to see was appologizing. "Nae...its alright," he said accepting her appology trying to step to the side to get out of the puddle since she was still behind him. It was dark...too shadowy to see everything the best and likely an accident anyway.

As Vickers was looking around, the larger than life image of Salazar Slytherin caught his eye. Curiously he neared the stone structure, thinking of how it was the Basilisk's den. Then he noticed something... from afar it would look like dust but was it just him or did it actually form some kind of pattern? Dusts dont form patterns do they? He furrowed his brows as he reaches out, wondering if its actually some kind of shedding-- from a snake maybe?

According to Pixie, I guess we maybe wrong. But waiting for confirmation from Prof.
 

Alyssa quickly ran up to Oakey. "Oh Oakey, it sure looks like a snakeskin. We need to ask the Professor to confirm whether this is one of the items on the list. Until then, ;et's just keep on looking. At least we found one on the list. A fake snake fang."Alyssa showed it to him. Then she pulled out their list and checked it off.



"Now where would we find the diary. Maybe somewhere on the floor near Slytherin's head. That's where Harry Potter was known to have destroyed the first Horcrux. I'll look over there. Where do you think Lockhart's wand would be? If I can remember, didn't he lose it near the entrance of the hole we entered? But we're not supposed to leave the Chamber, so do you the Professor has hidden it near the entrance of the Chamber? Should someone go look over there?"She suggested to both Oakey and Violet.

She saw Kurumi climb up the head of Salazar Slytherin, and waited for her to climb down. She had an idea where the fake Gryffindor sword might likely be hiding but she had to wait for Kurumi to climb down. But for now, she was going to look for anything lying on the ground near the lake in front of the statue.

THIS! This was creepy as hell. Despite his dislike for the professor, Lewis kept as close to him as possible during their trip down the Chamber of Secrets. This was insane. And even though, he knew for sure that the monster - the Basilisk - which used to live down here was dead as a doornail, the tunnels and everything about being down here was just really really scary.

And then they'd finally reached the destination of their journey. They ACTUAL Chamber. The Chamber of Secrets. Shudder. Though, this time he wasn't even sure if he'd shuddered because he was scared or because he'd just been awestruck by the chamber.

They were supposed to go on a scavenger hunt?! In here?! Seriously?! After just staring at the professor for a moment, Lewis gulped noisily before slowly making his way to one of the enormous Snake-statues. Clutching his wand tightly in his hand, he lit it up using Lumos and went to peek behind the statue. Maybe something was hidden there?

Daichi had been searching for the objects that was written down on his list. But no matter where he looked , he just couldn't find it.

The Slytherin sighed heavily after checking in one of the corners in the not-so-secret-anymore room and came back with nothing. He was surprised when he heard a boy shouting he had found cats and after checking his list he saw that petrified cat was on it. So that meant he had found it?

Daichi puffed his cheeks as he continued to search. If he was just staring he would find nothing. But as he checked the places, his dark brown eyes caught the attention of the Professor whom, as Daichi had remembered, had not moved from his spot by the chamber door. As if it was...guarding something.

Biting his lower lip and after looking around to see if no one else had seen it, he walked towards the man with an almost curious expression. "Professor Scabior?" he asked as he looked up at the man. "Can i ...can i check here as well?" he pointed behind the Professor and then lowered his arm. He did not believe he was just standing there to watch how the students were doing.

Lily had no idea where to start. Should I just wander around until I stumble into something... Lily raised her wand and then started looking around.

Still. Mega. Creepy.

As she wandered, she came up to the front of the Slytherin face when she figured there would be plenty of areas around here to hide something. Start down low and work my way back up... Man. This place is mega dirty. The ravenclaw started at the ground near the face, searching for anything on her list. That big pile of dust looks kinda funny... Why would there be a big pile right here anyway? Looking around, Lily tried to find someone to ask... and there was an older Ravvie that she had met before.

"Hey um... Vickers. Does snakeskin look like dust? Because there's this big pile of dust right here." Hopefully the older boy was looking at the dust stuff too, because Lily had no clue what snakeskin looked like.

Evelyn cringed when she heard him stumble into a puddle of water..sigh. She should have watched where she was going. She shifted her wand to the other hand and brushed her hair off her face. "Erm..it was dark and I was looking at the creepy statue and...yeah." Evelyn gave a nervous smile. She slowly continued to walk forward, avoiding the water on the floor. Ughh. It was so dark and creepy.

I changed it so Oakey is still unsure of what he has in his hand
 

Oakey hurried over to Alyssa and the Ravenclaw still holding whatever it was he was holding in his hand. Great job on finding the snake fang he told them. He then listened to what Alyssa had to say about Lockhart's wand. Maybe He hid it on Treyen Oakey joked. Wasn't Treyen like a super distant relative of the famous Gilderoy who famously erased his own memory.

Oakey didn't focus much on the wand though, he thought about the Sorting Hat. Maybe the Hat and the Fake sword were a two for one deal. Harry Potter had pulled the Gryffindor sword from the Sorting hat when he defeated the Basilisk. So maybe the sword was hidden in the hat and the hat was hidden elsewhere, right?

As they were ushered inside, Sierra followed the rest of her classmates, all the while looking around and taking in everything she could about the Chamber. She doubted seriously she'd go down here again. What were the odds of going down here even once, much less twice? She accepted a small piece of parchment, read it over, then looked up again.

Dear Merlin! How in Merlin's name was she meant to be the one to find something first?! There were now people and objects everywhere. Argh!

OOC: Okay, soo...we RP finding what we can for homework purposes? Despite whether or not someone else has already found it? *confused*

Closing her eyes while she went down the tunnel to the Chamber she was so scared. Even if it was so dark going down it was so scary! All she had to do was close her eyes and wait for the falling to stop. Finally she hit the bottom and silde down on something she couldn't see that felt like a slide on a place ground. Once Angelina hit the group and stopped she open her eyes to see she was in a large tunnel that was dark and all dirty. She looked around in wonder if they all had to keep going to get to the chamber. Their professor then moved them on and Angelina fallowed. While fallowing she looked around in wonder. This may be the only time she will ever be in the Chamer of Secrets so she took it all in and tried to make sure she would remember this always. For being a Slytherin it was so nice to be somewhere the founder of the house made. Even if the reasons werent the best it was still nice.

When the door opens with a bunch of snakes on it Angelina looks at them all its pretty cool in her eyes. Once the class starts walking into the chamber Angelina was in ahhs it wa so big. So many tunnels, and so dirty. Up ahead she spots the big head of what she guessed the found of Slytherin house.

Grabbing the paper the professor gave them she looks over it. She had I find these? That sounds like fun. She was ready to get started.

While circling the room, Ella approached what appeared to be a Statue of Slytherin, noting something dark in front of his face. What was that? Ella held her lit wand up and examined the thing closely. It was still quite hard to see despite her wand light and she was considering reaching out to touch the item, in hopes that nothing would jump out at her. Could they be the glasses? Or maybe the hat? Ella consulted her list, trying to think what the item could possibly be.

"Great! That''s awesome." Violet crossed off the fake snake fang off her list. Now where to look next? "I'm going to look over at the big mermaid statue at the end." she called over to the others. "Maybe I'll find a plastic sword of Gryffindor." Violet knew there ought to be an object down by there. She walked along the snake heads and looked down on the ground, hoping that there will be something out of place that will catch her eye.

Do we find what we want? and anyone want to team up with Nate?
 

Nate started to look all around, up and down. He then saw the professor standing in front of something. He went over and looked behind him. He then saw one of the items he was searching for. It was a plastic sword of godric gryffyndor.

Turning around, she shone her wand light in the general direction of where Professor Scabior was. Right, near the entrance...

Walking over to him quickly, she stopped when she was about a safe distance from him. "I was asking if it was the real sorting hat down here, and not a replica..." she repeated.

Now, where would a snake fang be? In a snake head, riiiight? She'd probably go there to check after he responded.

Yeah, Sophie was sure now. That wasn't a really nice idea. The Chamber of Secrets looked really creepy and scary. But it looked amazing as well. It was still scarier than amazing.

She wanted to find the things they were supposed to find, but she definitely did not want to do that on her own. Obviously, staying next to Professor Scabior wouldn't make her find anything, so her only option was to stay with a fellow student. Hufflepuff, preferably.

LEWIS!

Right after spotting the older badger, she rushed in his direction and grabbed his arm with one hand, not bothering to let him know she was right behind him first. She held up her wand with her other hand and started looking around.

He was officially here in the Chamber of Secret. The chamber was really creepy and scary but then again Salazar Slytherin created this thing so what did he expect? A chamber full of pink color and flower everywhere? Okay that thought frighting him more.

Messer need to find someone, an older student would be nice since they know more spells so if something attack him down here he could hide behind the older student. Yup. That was a good idea. Then he saw Lewis the lost boy he met in the feast. When Messer was about to approach him, someone already rushed to his side and grabbed the older Hufflepuff's hand. Its Sophie. Maybe she had the same idea like him finding an older student. So without second thought, Messer rushed toward Lewis and poked him. "Do you mind if I team up with you guys?" Since three head are better than two.

Oooh. So they were actually going in the Chamber of secrets!?! Gwendolyn was completely mind blown. Although some of the students realized that it might be even dangerous and some of them seemed to not really like the idea, the young Ravenclaw thought this could be the best lesson… ever! She followed everyone until they came in the Chamber. Wooow. It sees really interesting!, she told herself, not thinking that it was, in fact, quite creepy.

Quickly scanning the place, Gwen made a few steps and tried to decide where she should start looking for those objects. Hmm. Maybe I would need a partner too. She looked over her shoulder to see if there were any other students still partner-less. Nope. Not really, the third year told herself as she walked towards the statue of Salazar Slytherin. It is a good place to start, right? However, on her way to the statue, Gwendolyn stopped for a second to look at one of the snakes. Supporting her hand on the snake fangs, the third year thought there might be something hidden in it. Near it. Somewhat…

She had no luck in finding anything there, and as she looked around, the young Ravenclaw decided she wasn’t about to check out ALL of the snake statues. Grrr. Because they were too many. And they had only an hour to search for the objects. So, coming back to her original plan, Gwendolyn walked towards the statue of Salazar Slytherin.

As she glimpsed back at the list of objects they had to find, her eyes stopped at the err…toy Petrified cat. That one was for sure creepy. And if she were to find anything, she would probably come across that. Or the snakeskin. Something weird, anyway.

Alyssa continued looking around the pool near the stone carving of Salazar Slytherin's head. The diary should be around here somewhere or at least nearby. Or even Gryffindor's sword. Harry Potter may have found it in the Gargoyle's head but he dropped it on the ground after he had killed the Basilisk, so until Kurumi and the other boy decided to get off the statue she wasn't going to be able to climb up there, unless she climbed up there and squeezed in with them. 'Geesh! how long does it take someone to explore one place? They might like want to give others a chance as well! 'Alyssa thought to herself.

No, you need to wait for the clues first to tell you :)
 

"Hello there! Want to come search the objects for me? So far, I've only found the fake snake fangs, but there's got to be some more objects around here.." Violet got on her knees and started to feel around the stone. Maybe there was some type of lever that she could pull on that led to a passage. She got back up on her knees and searched the mouth of the huge stone statue again. She peered inside it's mouth, hoping there would be the plastic sword of Gryffindor in there.

Annabelle went inside the chamber. "Woah this looks soo cool!" she said wide eyed. She also loved scavenger hunts! "Hmm let me consult with the list first." she thought to herself. She checked out what to find.
She decided to scope out her surroundings and just familiarize herself with the chamber. "Hoepfully this won't be too bad. Maybe having a partner might help."

"Forty-five minutes." Scabior called out, just in case they weren't keeping time. He sure was.

Oh woah! Fifteen minutes had passed already? Time flies when you are reliving historical moments? That seemed sort of like an oxymoron almost since history was time that had already passed and...oh...never mind.

Kurumi twisted around a bit more, Kurumi noticed something that was clearly not part of Slytherin's head and scampered over to it. "August! We found something," she said as she picked up several wands with her free hand. "Lockhart's wand, sort of. We best remember to take these with us." Hehe. Did he notice what she did just there? Remember? Cause, you know, Lockhart was gifted with Memory Charms and, oh, never mind. Added the next item to her bag, Kurumi stood back up and walked over to the edge of the head and looked down. His nose was sort of big and blocking the way but...wait a second.

"Hey, August, can you give me a hand?" she asked as she sat down and allowed her legs to dangle over the edge of Slytherin's forehead. "I think I see something in his eye." Which meant that it was time to climb all over the man's face. YAY!

Laura decided that she would try and find something of the list but she wasn't sure if she would be any good at this one she didn't like small places and two she didn't know if she could figure out what anything on the list would look like.

Laura looked around but she couldn't find anything, so she decided to look somewhere else, hopefully she would find something somewhere.

"Do you have anything behind your back. You seem to be hiding something behind it. Just they way how you're standing there makes it seems like you're hiding something." Nate replied back to the history of magic professor. He did look oddly suspicous. He was trying to find at least something.

In the course of his trying to remove himself from the puddle, his foot hit something in the process. It didn't move on its own or at least seem to so Gideon wasn't quite as weirded out as he might have been. And they were supposed to be looking for stuff...right? Whole point of a scavenger hunt after all. The Gryffindor leaned down and slipped his free hand in the water to grab at the item that was semi-sticking out now that his foot had hit it and when he lifted it out Gideon found out what it was.

A book? Looking at the list it was clarified. A diary! "Well thats one thing off the list," he mused quietly as he straightened up. Hearing Professor Scabior call out the time, Gideon briefly looked at him before turning back to his prize spotting something odd on the book. His finger rubbed against it to see if it would come off.

Violet jumped up and down in excitement as she found a box with...petrified toy cats! She quickly crossed it off her list and scanned the room when the professor said there was 45 minutes left. Where did all the time go? She had only found 2 items on her list and had still plenty of items to find. She looked at the ground to find a big puddle by her feet. Hmm..was something shining in the water or was it the trick of the light if there was any light at all in the dim chamber. She crouched down on her knees to study the big pool of water to see if anything would catch her eye and tried to stir it around with her hand. Filthy stuff, but the professor could hide the objects anywhere even if it were a not-so-pleasant place to look.

Forty-five minutes left? Fifteen already gone? Woah that was fast and she hasn't found anything yet. Looking over at the water she saw it looking different. Maybe it was because they were underground? No she better go look. Walking over to the water she watched it with every step she took. Once to became more clear there was possibly something in it she woundered what it would be.

Arriving at the spot she noticed the spot a bit different then aroudn the chamber. Staring down at it a bit she looked up and around at her classmates. Looking back down she thought of what it could be with all the things on her list. Angelina got the idea that she could have to just put her hand in the water and figure it out.

Placing her hand in the water like planned. She made sure her sleves were pulled up and she wouldn't get to wet or wet at all. She moved her hand around a little tell she felt something hard. Taking a ferm grip on the object she pulled her hand out to see water dripping off and down her hand and the object, that seemed to be the a book. Placing the book down near the floor and letting it hoover to let the water drip off more she pulled out her list and took a look. Yes this book must be the old diary listed here. Yay! She found one thing on the list! Now time to look around harder and find some more.

Alyssa turned again to look at the water in front of the statue. Was there something there. She looked closely into the water in front of her. There was something floating down at the bottom. Alyssa quickly jumped in not caring whether she got wet or not. She reached in and found.....was it the Diary?

Lockhart's wand?! "Awesome! Now I have two." he said with a cheeky grin and wiggled his wand and the fake one in each hand. He would have mixed them up if his real one hadn't had light on the end from his spell, that would have been dim.

He placed the fake wand in his bag and marked it off his list of things to get:

Now where did they need to go? Being up this high would have given them a great advantage if they were outside but in a dark cavernous chamber they were sort of too high. The Gryffindor turned to ask his older friend what to do but she was leaned over the edge, saying she saw something in Salazar's eye.

"What is it?" He said eagerly going to look beside her. He couldn't see anything. "We have to get down there!" he starting thinking of ways. Auggie could lower Kurumi down with magic....but he didn't trust himself, neither should she. If only they had ropes. Wait, Princess in towers never had ropes!!!

He quickly yanked off his school robes and grabbed the back of Kurumi's, pulling them from her before asking. "Give me your robes, I have an idea." As he set to work tieing the two lengths of cloth together, the Gryffindor was glad that these robes were only OUTER wear. That would have been very embarrassing. After a minute or two of double knotting he threw one end around the Prefect and tied it around her waist.

"I'm lowering you down so you can grab whatever that is." he said firmly, she would trust him, right?

*cue Indiana Jones music*
 

Kurumi rolled her eyes. Hopefully August remembered which wand was his and didn't try to perform magic with the fake one. Merlin knew what would happen then. Probably back fire.

And then....the younger lion was taking off her clothes?! "August, are you insane?!" she squeaked as she attempted to cling to her black robe while he took it off her. Her body wobbled a bit, nearly calling her to topple off Salazar's head and make a big splash below. Now that certainly would be getting ahead of herself. Or something.

Once she realized what it was August was doing, she nodded. "Brilliant," she smiled feeling ever so awkward when he tied the robes around her waist. "Way to use your head."

Turning around so her body so that she was face to face with Salazar, Kurumi tried to find whatever crevice she could as August helped lower her down. Reaching out now, Kurumi attempted to grab whatever it was blocking the man's view and wondering if she was about to make an ironic discovery.

Glenn reached the bottom of the tunnel; her ending scream leaving an echo in the creepily chamber. She dusted herself off and shivered, holding her wand up. Her wand's failure at a Lumos charm dully lit the stone walls.

She swept her blond hair from her eyes and looked around. She couldn't see anything anywhere. Maybe she should peer up with someone that she knew...

Hmm. Anyone around that she could peer up with?

Sophie! She was with two other Hufflepuffs that she didn't really know that well. Glenn hesitantly walked up to them, positioning herself next to Sophie. "Mind if I uh- Join you guys?" They already seemed to have a group formed but maybe they'd allow another Hufflepuff into their group?

Alyssa quickly dried off as much as she could. Sure she would have squishy shoes and wet socks for the rest of the scavenger hunt but she was having so much fun that she didn't even care about that. While hanging to the dripping object and waiting for the Professor to confirm what she had found, she looked at her list before deciding where to search next.



Alyssa looked to see whether the Gryffindor team had vacated Salazar's statue but to her dismay saw that they were still exploring it. She sighed and decided that she would move on elsewhere because whatever was hidden there would have been found or would eventually be found by them. So she decided to continue searching near the pool and along the base of the statue's head, hoping to find Moaning Myrtle's glasses or perhaps the fake Gryffindor sword.

What was that?! Lewis carefully nudged something dark on the floor with his shoe to see if it was any of the things they were supposed to be looking for. It wasn't. And seeing as it dashed off with a squeak he wasn't entirely sure he wanted to know WHAT it was. Though, he had a pretty good idea.

Completely focused on the task of running the light of his wand up and down the statue's back, Lewis didn't notice somebody walking up to him. Which was why when Sophie suddenly grabbed his hand, he let out a surprised yelp and whirled around with his wand raised almost stabbing her in the eye with it. "S-Sophie?!" He stuttered once he'd realized that nobody was going to attack him and lowered his wand again. What was she doing?

Before he got any kind of reaction from the younger Hufflepuff he felt somebody else poke his other arm. Jumping just a little, he felt his heart was beating unnaturally fast right now. That couldn't be too healthy. And it would definitely help if people stopped sneaking up on him to poke his arm. This whole being in the Chamber of Secrets thing was scary enough without them doing it.

Staring at Messer for a moment, it finally registered to Lewis what the question had been. "Err. Sure, I guess." When he turned around to look at Sophie he found himself gazing at yet another Hufflepuff girl who it seemed had just materialized next to her. "Oh hey. Yeah. Sure." Hang on, was he like their team leader of something now? If so, it felt pretty awesome. Heh.

Returning to what he had been doing before they'd all decided it was time to scare him to death, Lewis heaved a small sigh. "I don't think there's anything here." He muttered, more to himself than the others while taking a step away from the statue again. That would have probably been too easy anyway.

He then glanced at Professor Scabior who was...just standing there. He probably reveled in the fact that most of them were pretty scared. After a few moments of just gazing at him, wondering if he might be hiding one of the objects, Lewis turned his gaze back to the Snake Statue, this time its front. Maybe there was something in its mouth? Seeing as he was part of a TEAM now, he should probably share some of his thoughts with his TEAMmates. "Maybe something's up there?" He offered with a nod at the Snake's mouth and a small shrug.

Hearing the chuckle, Daichi knew he was at the right place. Why else would the man chuckle? His curiousity grew as the Professor reached behind him in the shadows and the Slytherin third year leaned a bit forward to see what he was grabbing. Because he was focused on seeing what was in the shadows, Daichi was too late to see something being thrust at him and the thing fell on the ground with a soft thud.

Mumbling an apology, Daichi bend down to grab and looked with wide eyes at not one item, but two! "Wow sir! Thank you~!" he said as he got back up from the ground. His eyes were twinkling with excitment. This lesson was far better than the first one! No doubt about it. He still thought it was sort of weird that the Professor seemed to be nicer than normal but he shrugged it off as he scratched out the two items on the list.

Now he needed to find the others. Daichi rolled up the sorting hat and placed it on the inside of his robe, so that no one would see it. The toy sword was a little harder so he pushed it in the back of his collar so that he looked like some sort of knight.

With the two things found, Daichi continued to search the room. He looked behind the giant snakes at the sides and looked up a couple of times in case something was hanging in the air. He found nothing though. Sighing, he looked around for a moment in the middle of the chamber. There had to be a place he hadn't checked y-- the water!

Hearing Professor Scabior announcing that forty-five minutes were left, he quickly walked over. Stepping in to the water, Daichi shivered from the cold but was happy that it wasn't deep. Wading through dark looking water, he rolled up his sleeves and searched with his hands for an object.

She scanned the front part of the statue of Slytherin and shook her head. NOTHING. How could this be possible?! Making a few more steps, the third year went on examining everything she came across. Psh. And, as she was about to look on the other side, she heard the Professor announce that they had only Forty-five minutes to finish this. Forty-five?? Ughh. That wasn’t good.

Raising her eyes, Gwen continued examining the statue. There HAD to be something there. It was one of the most important parts in the chamber of Secrets. Or maybe that was it… maybe it would have been too obvious to hide the objects there. As she turned around, the young Ravenclaw started walking away. However, while looking over her shoulder at the statue, something caught her eye.

*blink-blink*

What is that? It was definitely an object. Yep. It had to be! Quickly returning in front of the statue, Gwen kept looking at the eye. Oooh. She’d found something! Finally! Err… actually… it didn’t count as finding it. It was still up there. She just had to grab it… somehow. Did she have to climb to get it? A Wingardium Leviosa would definitely help, though.

Great another Hufflepuff want to join them. The more the merrier as long as the girl stayed on that side because he keep this side. His eyes went from the new girl to Sophie and then to Lewis, he just realized that all of them are Hufflepuff. Badgers in the snake pit. Thank Merlin the Basilisk already dead.

Speaking of basilisk, his eyes went to the snakeheads. They look scary yet suspicious. Messer gaze went back to his Teammates when Lewis mentioned about something above the snakeheads. "Yeah maybe or maybe inside it?" Should he go and investigate? But but but what if the snakeheads come alive and eat him? Curiosity get the better of him, Messer peeked inside the snakeheads.

Ella looked was sure she was just seeing things now, her eyes playing tricks on her in the dark. She stepped forward but was caught off guard by what appeared to be...was that dust? It didn't look like ordinary dust though, it seemed to have some kind of design on it. could that be the "Snakeskin? Is that the snakeskin?" she whispered, bending down to shine her light on the thing in front of her.

Lily decided to check out this dust pile, and as she got closer she realized that it had to be snakeskin. Picking up a piece, Lily looked around for where to go next. A snake fang was needed... looking around, Lily tried to find a snakehead. That was logical, right... a snake fang in a snake head. So Lily walked over to where she had spotted a snake-head and looked inside, carefully. Where is it?...

Nodding, Elise grinned. "Thanks, professor!" she beamed as she caught the hat and the toy sword inside. Yay! Slipping those into her bag, Elise bounded off to the snake heads.

That's where she'd be if she was a fang...

Reaching inside and finding nothing, Elise moved on to the next one. Shining her wand inside, she squinted a little. Was there something glinting in the light or was it stone?

Forty-five minutes as in forty-five more, or forty-five past... That she wasn't quite sure...

Sophie was still a little scared and focused on holding on to Lewis and looking around that she didn't notice when the older boy pointed his wand at her. When he said her name she turned her head to look at him and saw Messer. She gave them both a small smile and then saw Glenn coming too. Yay! A nice group of Huffies working together! The Chamber of Secrets didn't even look that scary anymore!

Then Lewis and Messer started talking about something in the snake's mouth or something. "Yeah, we could give that a try!" Anyone volunteer to look inside of it? Heh.

Before they decided where around the snake they would look for the objects - or who would go inside its mouth or whatever -, Sophie turned her head again to keep looking around when a darkish water called her attention. She looked from it to her Hufflepuff friends. She wanted to go over there and check what was with that water but didn't want to let go off Lewis' hand. Oh, the dilemma!

Since the boys were already talking about the snake and all, Sophie decided to go check the weird water. It wasn't even that far from them. Sophie glanced at the Hufflepuffs once again and finally let go off Lewis. She began to walk slowly towards the water and took a closer look. What in the world...?

Laura was still looking for anything but without any luck, seriously how was she suppost to find anything down here, saying that she was hoping it was safe down there but well the Professor wouldn't have let them down if it wasn't, Laura decided she would continue to look and hopefully she would find something soon.

Forty-five minutes?! They'd just gotten in here, though! What was he? Speedy Gonzalez? Sierra sighed to herself then continued to look throughout the chamber. Merlin. She had a whole list of things to find, and she'd found none of them...

Sierra had just happened to look toward her feet when she noticed a certain reflection in a certain piece of glass. She'd almost stepped on it when she realized what she was looking at was actually a pair of glasses. Meh. She walked a few steps away before glancing at her list and realizing that Moaning Myrtle's glasses needed to be found. Whirling around on her heels, she snatched up the glasses before anyone else could.

Forty-Five minutes left? that was enough time to find the rest of the items. Oakey would have continued to stay with Alyssa but then he noticed something laying in a dark puddle near the front of the chamber. Oakey moved himself closer to the dark water and bent down once more to inspect it.

Anyone want to join him.
 

Nate then looked all around. He couldn't leave until the professor answered him though. So he was in a stalemate. He couldn't move until the professor answered him. But to find more items he had to move. He couldn't decide what to do. So he thought of something. He would look around him so then he could still here the professor's reply. So then he started to look around him to see if he can spot anything.

Annabelle saw a first year looking around and was thinking she could help him. "Hi I'm annabelle do you want to be my partner? But you can call me Belle for short." she asked. She needed the help and she loved working with other people.

Nate looked over to see a person walk up to him. "Yes you can be my partner. Nice to meet you Belle. I'm Nate. Right now I asked the professor if he has something behind his back." Nate replied to his new partner.

"Hi Nate!" she said as she shook his hand. "Hmm he does look suspicious having something behind his back. But let's consult with the list of items to find though. What should we find first?"

"I think we should find the old diary first." Nate replied while glancing over at the list of all the items that they had to find. "That is what I think we should find first at least. The reason why is because Harry Potter stabbed it with a basilisk fang so then the fang would have to be somewhere near it."

Belle thought that made sense and decided to look for it. "Well it would be near the statue head since that is where the snake was rumored to have come out of." she said as she pointed towards the center of the chamber. She went to look for it. She noticed a black book on the far right. "Nate do you think that is the diary?" she asked pointing to the book.

Nerida didnt have any luck just yet. She had saw something that was shiny, so she thought it was Moaning Murtle's glasses but no luck, it was just a shard of glass. She moved her wand trying to see if there was anything. She heard the Professor call out 45 minutes left. She didnt think it had already been fifteen minutes, it only felt like five. Nerida didnt watch were she was going cause she had started to look around her not down at her feet, when she tripped over something...

Glenn watched Sophie check the water and instead hung back with the boys. She didn't really want to go much nearer to those creepy snake heads, let alone underneath them. Well... if the others were there as well maybe they wouldn't be so intimidating?

"Well- if you really want to do check those heads..." Glenn said nervously. She imagined first-year Ginny Weasley lying unconscious underneath those snake heads and shivered.

She stood with the boys until she saw Sophie looking at something strangely, "What's that Sophie?" She asked, stepping away from the boys and to the dark water. The water lapped at her robes as she stood by the edge, frowning.

Not looking too eager, Hades stood still as other students already started to look for the stuffs. What was this again? History of Magic or horcrux hunting? Letting a heavy sigh, he shook his head before he began to look for someone to team up with. Seeing that a familiar girl picking up something on the floor, Hades headed to her and stood a few inches next to her.

"Whatcha' got there?" asked the boy as he stretched his neck forward to see the discovered item.

Scabior yawned and moved to the side a bit. Would any one notice the box there? Five more minutes done.

OOC: Guys I am really, really busy at the moment and I am replying much slower than I thought I'd be able to. So I'm going to go and post the locations of the items. Just RP your character looking/finding them. And have FUN. Make it realistic too. Remember there are a number of the same items (one for every person). They aren't suppose to just find everything in one post. Have fun, be creative, remember this is basically your homework mark ^_^ The thread will close around 10pm EST on Sunday March 4th 2011.

4. Sorting hat (In a box right behind Scabior)
5. A plastic sword of Gyffindor (IN the sorting hat)
6. Snakeskin (on the ground in front of Slytherins head)
7. Moaning myrtle's glasses (in Slytherin's right eye)
8. A toy Petrified cat (In a box in the mouth of the Slythern Statue)

Ella was right, the item on the ground in front of her was a snakeskin! "Yes, finally!" She said aloud, happy to have found at least one item. She crossed the item off her list and turned when she saw movement. Why had the Professor suddenly shuffled to the side a bit? He had been standing in the same spot for most of the class already. Finding the sudden movement odd, she approached him quietly, wand held in front of her.

As she got closer to the Professor, she saw something near him, a box maybe? She moved in to get a better look at the item. It was a box! Ella bent down to open it, wondering what could be inside. Hopefully it was nothing that would jump out at her, especiallly since she startled easily. She lifted the lid slowly, shining the light from her wand inside. There it was, the sorting hat, sitting in the box. Why hadn't she thought to check there before? Maybe because the Professor was standing in front of it looking rather intimidating, well at least to the small firsty.

Ella picked up the sorting hat carefully, examing it with the light from her wand. The hat was oddly heavy, like something was in it...wait a minute! Ella hesitated for a moment, wondering if a rat or something could have crawled in the hat before the hunt began. Casting that thought aside, Ella reached blindly into the hat, pulling out a sword. The sword! Two items in one find! That was great. Ella crossed two more items off her list and headed towards something shiny on the floor nearby. Was it water? Ella wasn't sure.

When Nate saw him pull out the sorting hat with the toy sword that got him really excited. Then when he looked inside he pulled out the toy sword. He then looked back over to his partner. "We've got two items. The sorting hat and the toy sword. Two for the price of one." Then he looked over to the place where she was pointing at. "Now that I think about it that water is awfully dark. Let's go and check it out." Nate says while walking over to the spot.

With the old diary found Angelina went on the hunt for anything else she could find. Frist she decided to look over by Slytherin's Statue. Walking up to it Angelina looked closely at the statue to see it was quiet large. Lifting her head up to look at the top of the statue she stopped right in front of the mouth of Slytherin. Looking ahead of her send she walked up to the mouth of the statue to see if anything was hidding inside of it. Looking into it while her hand was inside with her wand held out to give her light she saw something. Angelina reached in and cought it. Pulling it out of the mouth she found it to be a toy Petrified cat. Looking at her list it seemed to be listed right there number eight.

As he was wading through the cold water, Daichi searched with both his feet and hands to find one of the objects in his list. The sorting hat in the inside of his robe was save from view but the sword that he had on his back inside his uniform was a burden. It kept sliding down and he had to grab it occasionally not to let it drop. Daichi took off his Slytherin tie and tried to wrap it around his waist so that the sword was sticking against his back. But the tie was too short and he groaned softly as he placed the tie in his pocket, not wanting to put it on again.

But as he waded through the water a sudden idea came up in his mind that was...he wasn't sure if he should do it or not... He wanted to tie the bottoms of his robe in to a knot at his waist but, that would mean he would look VERY girly....and he was a manly man! Trying to find another solution, his feet suddenly bumped in to something hard in the water. Daichi looked down but the water was so dark in here that he couldn't see what he had bumped against. He stuck his arms in the water as he bend down, the sword on his back was sliding again but it didn't fell off. He searched with his hands in the water and after finding nothing but solid ground his fingers suddenly touched something. He picked it up and as he looked at it he noticed that it was a book.

Checking his list, Daichi saw that a diary was on it and he grinned to himself. Talk about luck finding it in that darkness. He took out his muggle pen and crossed his third item out.

Water dripped from his robe as he got out of the water and landed on the stones. And as the sword slipped down again, Daichi decided on trying to use his theory technique. It may look girly but it was the only thing he could think off without having to hold the sword or put it somewhere down where others could steal it. He grabbed both sides of his Slytherin robe that hung on either side of his knees, pushed it up and tied it in to a knot at his waist. The pressure on his back from the robe tightened against his back and Daichi felt how the toy sword was sticking firmly against him. He tried to move and found that the sword didn't butch anymore.

Giving himself a mental good job message, the Slytherin continued to search for the other items with the diary firmly in his hand.

After getting the toy Petrified cat Angelina headed off so the next thing to find. Before leaving the area of the statue she started to look around more. Backing up she took a full look at Slytherins Statue to think of a place to find anything. Once not thinking of much she turned around to look at the Chamber. She thought hard and looked at her list to think of a place these things might be. When pulling her list away from her face she spotted something on the ground right in front of her. Kneeling down she picked it up and realized it was the snakeskin. That was easy..
