HoM Lesson Three
 

The windows of the History of Magic classroom are wide open, allowing the cool spring breeze to flow through. Nothing in the class really seems to be set up. Some chairs are missing from desks and even scatted, but its alright, Scabior just ignores it.

Scabior stands by the door, nodding to students as they enter, looking slightly upbeat.

OOC: Class will not start until late tomorrow so feel free to post your character arriving. Just please keep chatting to a minimum

It was already May which meant that the term was about to end. Sooner or later, she would have to go home and leave Hogwarts. And that letter she had just received from her cousin earlier that morning wasn't making things better. She was feeling more and more depressed at the mere thought of not coming back for the next school term.

With a sigh, she walked inside the History of Magic classroom. "Hi." she said upon seeing the Professor at the door. "Hello Professor Scabior," Beezus added and walked to the nearest seat she could find, not even noticing how everything in that place seemed to be out of order.

Entering the classroom, Kurumi had one hand in her pocket and another on the strap of her bag. Kurumi's view of Professor Scabior was significantly different after the incident in the vegetable garden, but she was still very wary around him - especially after he had tried to steal from Professor Williamson and used students to do so. It was...odd...

Kurumi jumped a bit when she saw Professor Scabior. She had assumed that he would be standing or sitting in front of the classroom waiting for students instead of right next to the door. Not only that, but he seemed to be rather...chipper. That couldn't be a good thing, could it? "Good evening, professor," she said with a polite bow before her eyes shifted towards the window. Wait...sunlight? But wasn't it....

Thoroughly confused, Kurumi turned her gave back to the professor. "I mean, good day, Professor Scabior." Cheeks beat red, Kurumi rushed to her usual seat only to find that the chair was missing. Merlin...she really was losing it. Where was her chair? Kurumi spun around on the spot trying to find where her chair could have gone. Or...was this all part of the lesson? Sure, she could just sit down elsewhere...but this was her usual seat...she was sort of attached.

Logan walked into the classroom, smiling at the professor. "Good day professor!" he said cheerfully as he passed Scabior. He then looked around the classroom, realizing some things were scattered about. He decided it was alright since the professor was ignoring it. So, since Logan didn't really see a place to...sit, he leaned back against the walls, waiting for more students to enter.

Alyssa walked into the History of Magic classroom and greeted Professor Scabior who was standing at the door. "Hello Professor." before making her way to find a seat. It was then that she noticed that the tables and chairs had not been arranged like they usually were. First Potion class. Now History of Magic? This was very strange indeed, but Alyssa was DEFINITELY not going to ask the Professor the reason for this disarray. Trying to ignore it as much as possible she took a seat on a chair that was located nearest to a desk as possible. If she had to she figured that could always stretch out and use it if needed.

With his book bag on his shoulder Vickers made his way towards HOM class, seeing the Professor by the door "Good day Professor Scabior..." he greeted the Historian with his usual polite nod. As he turned into the classroom he slowed his pace.... his usual seat was missing, with the table angling off in an odd direction. Casting a quick glance at the Professor the Ravenclaw then took a seat which seems to be missing a desk and lined his table the way it should have been as best he could, then took out his parchment to prep for the class ahead.

Daichi had really liked the previous lesson in the chamber of secrets in. He thought it had been fascinating and cool and the Slytherin had rushed over to the next class after he checked his roster.

Arriving at the classroom, the Slytherin stepped inside the room and was a little let down when he saw the usual desks and chairs. Hopefully they would do something again because he wasn't much of a theory person.

"Good Morning Professor Scabior~!" he bowed in greeting when he passed the man standing near the door and went over to one of the desk to sit on the chair like he usually did at the front of the class. Daichi hadn't noticed that his chair was missing because he was too busy wondering what they would do this lesson and as he sat down he landed with a THUD on the ground. "Oww!"

"Hello, Professor,'' Jory said as he walked into the classroom. ''The very disarranged classroom,'' he thought. Oh well. He'd just place a chair at one of the desks.

He was just about to head to find a seat when Daichi sat down very hard on the floor. Jory resisted the urge to laugh. "Here, Daichi,'' he said offering his hand to pull the Slytherin up.

Ella walked into the History of Magic classroom and almost directly into Professor Scabior, who she hadn't expected to be standing by the door. Luckily, the first year noted the man just in time to avoid bumping into him. She smiled at him sheepishly, managing a greeting. "Sorry-erm Hi Professor, hope you're well." She said softly.

As her eyes roamed the room, she was surprised to see the random scattering of chairs and desks. That was odd. She simply shrugged and walked over to where the windows were, leaning on one of the desks without chairs.

Oakey came to History of Magic already bored out of his mind. Unless they did something like last lesson there would be no way to cure him of this boredom. Taking no notice of the rooms unorganized look he walked over one of the many scattered desks, placed his things onto it and greeted the professor. Good day Professor Scabior. As he sat down he noticed something odd. The windows were open and the outside looked beautiful and the breeze felt great, but he wasn't facing the front, his desk was facing the window. He looked around confused and saw that Vickers was sitting at a chair with no desk, Kurumi was at a desk with no chair and Daichi just landed on his butt! This minor chaos needed answers and Oakey was not going to let this pass him by. Professor, what's up with the class? He asked rather determined.

Daichi was cursing under his breath the moment he landed on the floor. Why was his chair missing?! He always sat in this spot! He rubbed his back before a voice above him caught his attention. Looking up his cheeks flushed with embarrassment when he saw Jory.

Looking at his hand, Daichi took the hint and grabbed it. Pulling himself up off the ground while leaning on the Hufflepuff. "Thank Jory" he said. "I thought my chair was here" and laughed out loud with his usual high pitched laugh. "You want to sit together?" somewhere where a desk AND chairs were...

'The Divination Tower? Are we going to be doing a lesson up there? Cool.'Alyssa thought to herself, grabbing her backpack and following the Professor and the rest of the students out of the classroom and up to the Tower.

"You hurt?'' Jory asked his Slytherin friend. The Puff really wanted to laugh but didn't want to make Daichi feel bad. Jory was just about to answer the question when Professor Scabior spoke.

"The Divination Tower?'' he said in surprise to Daichi as they headed for the door following the Professor and students.

Another day. But sadly the last lesson of the year. Ohwell Jen entered the classroom.
"Hello Professor", she said as she entered.

"Hey Logan" Jen said with a slight smile. "Didn't know you were here
