"Then we'll do what we can to get you accepted into a Healer training program, or if you prefer, into Wizarding University for the pre-Healer courses." Tate felt that was more than fair, and a much greater contribution to Miss Black's personal well being than letting her skip ahead because someone at home was a bully.

"And you're welcome. Would you like me to put it in writing so you can remember that you and I both agree you are bright and can rest on that knowledge?"

For the first time since waking up that morning Presley's face split into a huge grin. He wasn't going to let her skip up, but it would be just as wonderful to tell her father she'd been accepted into a Healer Training Program, or the University for pre-Healer courses. "That would be wonderful, sir!" She could imagine knocking on the door to her fathers study, stepping in and showing him an acceptance letter to somewhere. He would grin and say "that's my girl," like he used to when she was tiny. Thank you so much for being so willing to help me."

Put it in writing? But they didn't agree on that. Presley didn't really believe she was as bright as Tate obviously thought she was, but with him trying to help her, and her hard work, it would be possible to get into a program like that. She shook her head. "No, that's okay. Thank you again, sir. I appreciate it. Really." She was just so happy! She would have to write Leo back straight away. And she might want to read that letter, that had arrived just before Tate had entered the office, as well.

"It's my job," Tate responded, a bit gruffly. What was she being so effusive about? He would help anyone who... well, no. He'd definitely given hard advise to students in the past and he wouldn't ever recommend someone who didn't deserve it. So not just anybody.

"You just keep up your grades for now, and we'll see what needs to be done as the time gets closer. I'll see if we can't get you some sort of summer internship after your fifth year to help solidify your plans. If we're done, you are dismissed, and you can send up the next person in line."

After the oldest of the Hufflepuffs downstairs agreed to go together to see the Headmaster about the Seminar homework, Daichi went up the staircase after the Gargoyle sprung to life and Floppy his duck from the pond , that was still under enchantment was walking beside him.

Entering the office, Daichi immediately noticed how...tidy the place was. Seriously he would freak out if he EVER had a tidy room. Then again he was only fourteen so maybe that would change when he got older. His eyes then noticed an unusual thing in the room he had never seen before. It looked like a mirror but..there was something off about it. He couldn't tell what but it was weird. Daichi turned and forgetting his manners he walked up to the glass with his duck waddling near his feet. "woah..." he said as he looked inside of the glass with curiosity, leaning forward to peer in to the mirror.

Alyssa followed Daichi and Amelia up the stairs to see the Headmaster. "Hello Headmaster, we're really sorry to bother you but we all agreed that we would save you time by coming up together to tell you what we think about Madam Poppy and the Entrancing Enchantments class she taught. I for one thought she was different especially when she liked anything pink and giggled to herself all the time.

I also liked that she taught us how to attract people who wouldn't normally like us just by using a spell. We even got to slap each other and I got proposed to. She definitely taught an unusual class. That's all I have to say. I know that Daichi and Amelia would like to share their thoughts about her too. Amelia, Daichi?"

Amelia couldn't help but feel a little intimidated as she made her way up to the Headmaster's Office. She had never been here before, and she hoped that he wasn't a really busy man and she was taking up some of his time. But he also seemed like a good person from what she knew of him... hopefully it would be okay. She was such a coward sometimes. :/

She scanned the office now as she listened to Alyssa speak, nodding as the girl went along. Yes, Alyssa was saying good points here. "I agree with Alyssa, Sir. Madam Poppy also taught us how to get animals to do what want them to through the use of enchantments. So we can get both people and animals to do what we want them to. I also find her total love of pink refreshing. I think she is a perfect rolemodel for the students of Hogwarts because her fashion sense is to die for, and she has the most amazing personality as well as the best teaching style I have ever encountered in my entire time at Hogwarts."

She nodded now. "Daichi?" Maybe he had more to add here.

What the...? "Merlin save me from Hufflepuffs," Tate grumbled under his breath and eyed the three students with a small frown. They'd come all the way up to his office to offer a critique of a professor? WHY?

"It's nice of you to compliment the professors, but I'm not sure why you felt this required my attention immediately. Or why you all three felt it so important to critique a substitute professor but offer no insight to the professors you see everyday. That being said... thank you for your thoughts." The end?

Alyssa gulped. She wanted to tell him that it was Madam Poppy who instructed them to do it, but she kept silent and quickly said instead,"Thank you for taking the time to listen to us, Headmaster," and quickly ran down the stairs and out of his office.

Daichi was still looking at the glass with interest when both Alyssa and Amelia started to talk. He turned around and stared at them with a slightly open mouth. His duck near his feet was also staring. Were all Hufflepuffs straight to the point or something? Because they sure talked alot...
He was about to say something on his own but before he could he was interrupted by the Headmaster himself.

A faint blush covered his cheeks as he now realised that the man had been here all the time and he had not greeted him when coming inside the office. "I-i also would like to say.. Uhm.. What they said the boy said and waved his hand to the other two. Biting his lip as he thought that this answer would not get him any points, he quickly added. " Auntie is not one but THE best person that has EVER teached here. Her lesson was PERFECT and she is my role model now." he felt like throwing up now...

Now that was over he raised an eyebrow as he saw and heard how quick Alyssa was getting away and out of the office. Honestly! Hufflepuffs were quick to the point. Seeee now he could tell his older brother that he was NOT a Hufflepuff disguised as a Slytherin. Because he was not quick to the point~ "It's part of our homework assignment, Professor Headmaster Sir..." he said naively and with a bright smile. "And i want to get points for Slytherin so yeah... he trailed off and looked back at the glass. Floppy the duck decided that this would be a great time to QUACK! and waddle around. Daichi eyed the duck before turning to the headmaster again. "can i.. Can i ask what this is?" he pointed at the glass behind him with a currious expression written on his face.

Amelia blushed now. Maybe she had been a little direct with how she had addressed everything, but she wanted to do good with this homework assignment. "Thank you for listening to us, Headmaster. Madam Poppy is an inspiration to the students here at Hogwarts, and we felt the need to tell you all this. Okay, so it's a homework assignment, but still..." God, she felt a little sick now, and she was sure Headmaster Tate thought she was crazy or something. "Thank you again for listening to us, Sir. Have a good day."

She smiled and then turned and left after Alyssa.

"You appear to have been abandoned by Hufflepuffs. Might I suggest more stalwart companions next time?" Tate leaned across his desk and peered down at the boy's feet. "Excuse me, Mr... Duckworth, but it appears you have brought some sort of water fowl into my office. I'm not sure how I ought to feel about that."

He felt bad about it, actually. Ducks weren't particularly clean, and they were sort of noisy, and Merlin knew they didn't have personal boundaries and often intruded on picnics and spring walks. Rude things, really.

"As for that... it's a foe glass. Keep your eye on your enemies at all times, you know? Those figures in there are my enemies, though... not yours. You are likely too young to have so many foes." Likely, but not impossible.

Daichi looked at the door from the office as the Headmaster spoke about 'being abandoned by Hufflepuff's' after Amelia had rushed down the stairs as well. Frowning, the Slytherin sighed for a second before he turned back.

His cheeks flushed a red color as the man addressed him as Mr.Duckworth but at the same time it made him grin a little bit. This was not his name however and despite having stolen his brothers identity and name to freak out Jonathan had been funny, he wanted to be addressed by his real name.

"Sorry but, my n-name is Katharos, Sir... Daichi Katharos n-n-not Duckw-worth.." curse his stuttering, he always felt nervous in an awkward situation. At least , HE felt awkward right now especially with an authority figure. He looked down at the duck that was now waddling her way over the door and then waddled back around his feet. "I-i-i'm sorry" he apologized as he saw the headmaster staring at his duck and he prayed in his head that Floppy wasn't going to do anything stupid. "But.." Daichi went on as he kept eyeing the duck as she went over to the man's feet. "She's my f-friend" The last part was muttered and as if to confirm his sentence, Floppy began to quack again.

A foe glass? He had read about them before but never saw one with his own eyes. He saw the faint figures and it made him thinking who the man's enemies were. He was glad that the figures weren't his though.

Right.. maybe he should go. The whole situation was just plain awkward and it had already been at least two hours since he enchanted the duck to be his friend with the spell they had learned in class and his spell work wasn't fascinating at all so he was afraid it would stop working soon and the duck would cause a ruckus. "Sorry for wasting your time sir" he said and made a deeeeeeep bow like the one he had given a Gryffindor girl in Defence class. . "I-i'll leave now should i send a person up that is waiting downstairs or..not?"

"Wise lad, to surround himself with water fowl rather than Hufflepuffs. Think on that," Tate reseated himself behind his desk and pulled parchments closer to continue his work. "If that's all, then you are, of course, dismissed. I would appreciate you sending up whoever is next."

He tilted his head and peered down at the boy again. Duckworth was a much better name, in his opinion. "Nice spellwork, Katharos."

If it hadn't been for Kurumi explaining to him what fowls were he would have been clueless at this moment. But he did remember and watched how the man reseated himself in his chair. "y-yes that's all sir, and i will~!" He bowed again and called Floppy to him. The duck went away from the Headmaster and waddled towards him, quacking loudly all the way that had Daichi smile.

But when he heard the next words he stopped. Nice spellwork? did...did...did he just really say that? "Thank you Headmaster~~!!" he said a little louder than usual and ended with a squeal. He had never been praised for his spellwork before! And to here this from the headmaster himself was. AWESOME! "I'll try even harder! Yush" and with that he left the office with a bright smile from ear to ear on his face.

Oakey popped his head into the office to spot Head master Tate sitting behind his desk. Good day sir. after greeting the Head Master Oakey felt that was a good way to let himself step all the way into the office and let Nate follow behind him.

Oakey's appearance was disheveled, his hair was uncombed, he slouched sagging his shoulders but trying to keep them up. His eyes had bags beneath them and to add to that he let out a large yawn. I'm sorry, Our houses Quidditch party left me with little sleep last night. That was an understatement. The sugary drink at their party was so good that even when Oakey's sugar high crashed he still couldn't sleep a blink. He yawned once more but covered his hand with his mouth and turned to see if Nate had entered the room with him.

Oh, good. Yet another Hufflepuff.

"So long as you don't fall asleep in my office, or drone on without breathing properly, or otherwise push buttons... I think it's fine. Best not to admit you were foregoing studies and sleep in favor of a party next time you visit a professor, though. Be prudent." Honesty was limited and often unnecessary in large quantities.

I'll try my best not to. Oakey said with a smile, it felt as though Tate did not want him here. He couldn't place his finger on why, but even Daichi seemed distant as he passed him by outside. I hope I didn't do anything wrong thought Oakey. I've been studying sir. No doubt on that. This school has done a lot for me and I wouldn't disrespect it by not doing my duties as a student. He held off a large yawn after he finished speaking.

Nate followed Oakey up the winding steps into the headmaster's office. He saw that he was a little late. Anyways he had to ask him a question, and show him something. He then saw Oakey. "Sorry that I'm a bit late. I was just staring into space down there." Nate said. He was nervous because this was the first time he'd be meeting the headmaster. He was a bit worried as well.

All these what if scenairios kept flying by. There was what if I get yelled at and lose house points. Or what if something goes wrong and one of us gets hurt. Then he remembered the orb. He didn't have it with him, but he had a scetch of it. Along with that that might be the reason for the creatures coming out of the forest.

Merlin, his whole entire WORLD was crumbling beneath the weight of impending Hufflepuffs. Tate raised an eyebrow as a second boy joined the first, and he only waited a moment before gesturing at the chairs across from his desk.

"You aren't late unless we had a predetermined time to meet, which we do not. You are, however, not doing yourself any favors by admitting that the walls in the corridor are more interesting than my company." Ahem. He wondered how long it would take the boys to get to the point.

Oakey took one step back to let Nate take the lead on this. He honestly had no clue why Nate wanted to come up, except that Nate didn't want to go it alone. Being the Hufflepuff that he was, Oakey agreed to go with Nate and back him up if he needed help. He pressed one hand onto Nate's back an nudged him forward slightly. Go on he thought Tate doesn't bite.. He was just as curious as to what Nate had to speak to the Head Master about now.

Nate took a big gulp when Oakey pushed him up. He turned back at Oakey, and gave him the don't ever do that again stare. He turned back around to face headmaster Tate. He took a deep breath, and said "I think I know what's causing all the creature's to flee from the forest. If I'm not mistaken that is." His voice was kind of shaky because once again this was the first time he was seeing the headmaster.

Oakey covered his mouth and yawned, yet again. He looked back at Nate with his baggy eyes and shrugged his shoulders. Nate was now giving him the evil eye too, but he didn't take this one seriously. That nudge forward was needed else Tate might loose his patients and Oakey will fall asleep again.

Nate spoke about the creatures in the Forrest and what may be the cause of it. It was easy to say Oakey was no longer sleepy. His full attention was on Nate and Tate.

Oakey moved over to one of the chairs that Tate offered them. He yawned again but shook his head back and forth quickly.NO! I will not fall asleep, this is something I gotta hear!

Tate looked back and forth between the boys before gesturing with his hands. Come on, come on. No need for dramatic pauses. "If I recall correctly, the animals have all returned to their homes. The acromantula mentioned something in the forest, but I'm not going to go trudging into the woods after it. Not so long as it keeps clear of the castle and my students."

He simply didn't have the time to go running around in the woods, hugging trees and otherwise being a hippie weirdo.

When he heard the headmaster say that, it would lead directly into his next part. "But it's not on the grounds. The last time I saw it a ravenclaw girl had it near the humpbacked witch statue. I'm not sure where it is now, but I know it can't be to far away from here. Probably from here to the pathways. It would always have this weird glow to it whenever it would be held. But when another person would try to hold it it would be dark. As if there was a miny thunderstorm in their."
