For your convenience this post will be updated as frequently as possible listing the classes that are currently running, are soon to be running, and any homework that is available.

Transfiguration Homework II

Using the spell you learned in class, transfigure 3 thimbles into vases. Fill with water and arrange flowers in them. Place them in random locations throughout the castle, to help brighten up the dark old halls and rooms.

Professor Bentley has been kind enough to let you use the flowers from Greenhouse Three and the Student Garden for this task. But be careful when cutting them!

OOC: You can transfigure, fill with water and arrange flowers all in one post - for each vase (so 3 separate posts for example). But I do require a MINIMUM OF 6 GOOD LENGTH POSTS because I want links to your character placing the 3 vases around the castle as well.

Worth: 15 points
Due: Friday 9th March 2012 by 10PM GMT

Care of Magical Creatures Homework II: The Pygmy Puff Diaries

Your task is to take care of the pygmy puff you have worked with today in class, whether it is your own personal puff or one belonging to the professor. Take the puff back to the castle with you and take good care of it for roughly the next week (ooc: until the next lesson). You will need to feed it; record what it eats and doesn't eat; groom it; bathe it (if needed); discover its gender; give it some exercise; entertain it; introduce it to other pygmy puffs; and of course observe all of these behaviors in detailed diary entries.

For full credit on this assignment, you will need to record five separate entries, spaced out and posted here, with each diary entry linking back to at least ONE RP post in the school. You have up until the start of the next Care of Magical Creatures class to complete this assignment.

Any questions, feel free to PM BanaBatGirl. But remember, do NOT PM your entries; post them in the above linked thread as you complete them. Good luck and have fun!

1. Lesson Three will open on/around Monday, March 12 and will run approximately one week. Don't forget to bring your pygmy puff back to class!

2. Homework from CoMC Lesson Two will then be due Sunday, March 11th by midnight. You must have your five posts with your pygmy puff done and linked up in that thread by then!

3. The Barnyard is now open for those who were allowed to RP in the Sanctuary. Have fun, take care of the animals living in there for the winter, follow the rules, and take care of the animals. If you do, a few extra points might be in the stars for you.

PLEASE do not announce yourself arriving to class and just pretend you have been there the entire time!

Quodpot Rules
-Each house will be given a question (ie. Quod to Slytherin: What professional Quidditch team defeated the Quibberon Quafflepunchers in 1993 after a 5 day match?)
-Your house has 3 minutes to post the answer (ie. GQ - Sweetwater All-Stars) You do not have to post in the same color as the question.
--The next question will then go to the next team
--If you answer a question that was asked to another house, your house will lose a point
-Each member can post their answer once (like in Quidditch); editing your answer will result in the Quod exploding
-If the first answer for your house is correct and you post before the 3 minute mark is up, you score 1 point
-If the first answer is wrong but someone else in your house posts the answer before the 3 minute mark is up, you score 1 point.
-If the first answer is wrong and no one else posts the correct answer before the 3 minute mark, the Quod explodes.
-If the first answer is correct and posted after the 3 minute mark, the Quod explodes.
-3 exploding Quods in 1 session equals elimination from that session (your house won't be asked any more questions)
-Total points earned in all 4 sessions = points your house will receive for participation in this lesson
-Each house will have a chance to answer 8 questions in each session.
