 1. Care of Magical Creatures Lesson Two will open approximately one week from today. Report to the barn for this lesson and, if you have a pygmy puff, BRING IT!
2. The list of students allowed into the Magical Creature Sanctuary is now finalized! If you wish to earn some extra credit or learn about how to take care of the fantastic beasts of the world in an independent arena, swing on by there, find your name on the list, and start interacting with the wonderful animals!
3. As the cold season is seeping in, most creatures in the Sanctuary will soon be moved to the Barnyard. If you name is on the list in the Sanctuary, then you will be allowed to continue taking care of the animals in the Barnyard as well.

Astronomy Homework 1, worth 10 points:
In the lesson we discussed the nocturnal and the sun dial. Your homework is to role play testing the old astronomical instruments out in the observatory or on the grounds. See if you can work out the time of day with the aid of your instruments not watches.
You should do it in no more than 5 quality posts meaning no one liners and at least one good sized paragraph (4 lines of text). Be creative and have fun! I will grade fail attempts and successes equally. In two giant sized boxes outside Professor Roslund's office you can each pick up a sun dial and a nocturnal for your homework. Professor Roslund expects you to return the instruments in the same shape you got them.
OCC info:
- Roleplay testing the the sundial and nocturnal out in RP the objective is to work out the time of day. You are not allowed to use your watches accept to see if you are right or wrong.
- Roleplay should consist of 5 RP posts from somewhere in the school or out on the grounds.
- To get points you need to send the RP links in a PM titled 'Astronomy Homework 1' to me Nordic Witch.
-The links to the posts you will find by clicking on the post number in the top right corner of each post.
- The assignment is due one week from today on Feburary 8th at 12 pm GMT..

Herbology Lesson Three - Part One
Who: All Hogwarts Students
What: Lesson Three - Part One (Night Class)
When: Friday 16th March, class will open at approximately 2-3am GMT
Where: The Student Garden
Items to Bring: Common sense, comfortable clothes and shoes, snacks and a smile. OOC: The lesson won't start for about 12 hours after the time mentioned above, so everyone will have time to RP arriving to class, reacting to their surroundings etc. This part of the class will last approximately 2-3 days. After which, the second part of the lesson will commence -- keep an eye on the notice boards for details. Please read through the Herbology Rules and Expectations prior to attending the lesson- I'll know if you haven't. If you have any questions feel free to PM (personal message) me.
