Transfiguration Homework I Design a picture frame on a piece of paper. Make it as detailed as you can, to test your powers of concentration. Use the spell learned in class (Statua Habitum) to turn the paper into the exact frame you drew. Practice as many times as it takes to get it exact.
Then give the frame to a person of your choice (staff/student/friend/enemy) as a gift. OOC: You can draw an actual picture if you wish, although it's not mandatory, or you can use a frame you found online. But please don't take someone elses drawing and try and pass it off as your own. - AND NO HOTLINKING PICTURES, PLEASE. Upload them to your own Photobucket/tinypic account.
If you just RP your character drawing it please put as much descriptive detail of the frame into your posts as you can. I expect a MINIMUM OF 5 GOOD LENGTH POSTS to complete the task. PM me the links to all the posts you make. Worth: 20 points

HOMEWORKOn the subject of energies, each of the numbers from 1-9 are associated with certain colors, gems, and flowers, along with certain key words that may give insight about the number.
Your assignment is simple; create an artistic representation of what your personal day number is for the 31st of October, 2076. If your personal day number on this day happens to coincide with your soul urge or life path, then this should be signified in your artistic representation. Keep in mind the colors and gems and flowers associated with the numbers, as specified in chapter four of your text, as well as the meaning associated with your personal day number, in chapter twenty.
General Guidelines
~ You should include your personal day number for the 31st, as well as your soul urge and life path numbers (you don't HAVE to show your work).
~ Even if you did NOT attend the lesson, you're still encouraged to do this assignment
~ No, your artwork does NOT have to be gorgeous. I'm looking for thought related to the number, not perfection.
~ You may use any graphics program on your computer; even if it's not a fancy program, you should at least be able to come up with something using MS PAINT, which all PCs have.
~ If for some extreme circumstance you absolutely cannot make a graphic, talk to me about it. I may be willing to work with you in completing an alternative assignment.
~ Finally, do NOT plagiarize your artwork from something off the internet. I want the drawing to be your OWN work, not something you got off Google Images or whatnot. Be creative with it. Be expressive. This is about creativity, not "good artwork". I don't care if it's good, but I DO care if it's your own. If you DO plagiarize, then I promise you will LOSE points, rather than gain them. That's how serious I find this to be. So do yourselves and your house a favor; don't copy a graphic. Create something fresh.
Worth: 10 points (plus possible extra credit)

Herbology Lesson Two
Who: All Hogwarts Students
What: Lesson Two
When: Monday 30th January, class will open at approximately 2-3am GMT
Where: The Greenhouses
Items to Bring: Common sense, textbook, dragon hide gloves, comfortable shoes- strictly no high heels, and a smile. OOC: The lesson won't start for about 12 hours after the time mentioned above, so everyone will have time to RP arriving to class, reacting to their surroundings etc. The class can last anywhere from 4 days to a week. Please read through the Herbology Rules and Expectations prior to attending the lesson- I'll know if you haven't. If you have any questions feel free to PM (personal message) me.
