The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The entrance to the common room is the portrait of the delightful Fat Lady, and in order to gain entrance to their home away from home, Lions must know the password and speak it to her.
This terms password is ‘Angel’s Trumpet’.
Be sure to remember those words...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you to enter Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to scramble through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs and tables. To the side of the common room you will find the study tables and bookshelves equipped with all that you could need in order to complete your homework assignments, as well as the noticeboard for classes and other school announcements.
A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one side of the wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes. You are likely to find the latest edition of the Gryffindor Gazette on the central tables just waiting to be read. It’s always good to stay informed with your house and school news.
If however you are in need of a nap a good night's rest then there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left. Be sure you don’t go breaking any of the rules by attempting to go up the wrong staircases. Boys don’t stand a chance of beating the enchanted staircase, and frankly girls should know better.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home. There's bound to be a perfect or your Head of House lurking in the shadows.

After they had all landed and shared good sportsmanship as best they could with the sullen Slytherins, Gideon had looked around to spread congrats to a certain captain also his girlfriend only to find her gone. Now where had Selina gone off to? After passing through the locker room to grab his belongings with the rest of the team, he headed back up to the tower and upon stepping through the portrait hole found out the answer.
"Ye m'lady are a sneaky one," he mused with a chuckle. "Did ye do all this?"
Maxwell noticed the quidditch team returning from their victory over Slytherin. He wondered where Jordan had gotten off to? He wanted to congratulate him.

Bentley, thrilled with the outcome of the match, practically danced up to Gryffindor Tower without even breaking a sweat. She was so excited and so proud of the Lions for their tenacity and determination during the game. They'd done SO well! It only seemed fitting that they should band together and celebrate their victory.
Upon gaining entrance to the Common Room, Seren threw up her arms in excitement. "Well done Lions! That... Was... Brilliant!" Taking in the marvelous setting, she mad a B-line for her Captain and Gideon. How they managed to get here before her was beyond her. Then again she had taken her time, celebrating with many of the lions in the stands. "Let's get this party started hey?" Even with the last lessons of term and the looming finals, the Lions deserved to let their hair down, relax a little, light that fire and be motivated!
Jezz walked in on a party. They had one and she was excited though a little sad that she couldn't have had a part in the victory. However, the excitement outweighed the sadness and the goofy grin on her face proved that. She walked over and grabbed a slice of pizza. "It's time to party!" She was so excited she couldn't help but shout it to the ceiling. She wanted to congratulate Selina but she would wait until everyone else had a chance.

And after pretty much the best hug in the whole entire world...
She found herself back at her common room. She was just planning on quietly sneaking in... until she saw the decorations.
Her eyes widened. "I want a balloon!" she exclaimed running toward some.

Gideon watched as a duo of second years came into the common room, smiling at them though only reconizing Jordan as he was a member of the team. "Aye... we did," he replied with a nod as he reached to grab something to drink. Never good to be dehydrated after a game.

And then their head of house appeared offering her congradulations to the team and Gryffindor House by extensions. "Thanks Professor," he replied, chuckling lightly at her enthusiasm. You didn't have to ask twice, a celebration was a needed repreve within the busyness of classes and work especially with studying for OWLS mixed in. Not to mention he was thankful for not having been forced from his broom during the game for once...he ha successful managed not to be a bludger target this time.
Just a bumper target with Selina after her own hit...not that he minded much.

Now more of their time was showing up with the presence of Anya...the girl who had made their win possible. Gideon almost hadn't seen the younger sister of his former teammate and yearmate to his own sister. More heard her before spotting the flash towards the balloons. "Hmm...lets see if one can be freed," he mused moving towards the bunch of gold orbs to help in the aquisition. He doubted anyone would begrudge Anya one.

Alice raced into the Common Room as fast as her legs could carry her. As soon as she had heard the news of her team's victory, she had run down the Dormitory staircase and into the room with her teammates. Though the young girl regretted she couldn't watch the game with her team, she was as enthusiastic as ever for their next game. But she was quite relieved that she hadn't had to hold the heavy Beater's club again; the lioness was quite happy to leave that job to Selina.
As she skipped over to where her team was clustered, a giddy grin plastered onto her face, she noticed the party atmosphere her Captain had created. YUMM. FOOD. The second year noticed the crowd surrounding her team members and eagerly watched as they celebrated their victory. And they deserved to. After all, this feeling of hard work and effort and sweat paying off is what made being on the Quidditch team worthwhile.

Tayla blushed a little. "I was late," she said, and thought about the homework she was trying to finish the day of the match. "But I enjoyed the half that I saw. You're an amazing seeker! The whole team is awesome, really." Tayla wished next year she would finally have time to try-out, get a chance to join the team. "Ever think of playing Quidditch professionally someday?"

Selina was running around adding the last minute touches to everything in the room before everyone arrived when she heard a pair of footsteps walk up behind her. A lower chuckle sounded in her ear and she spun around on her heels to see Gideon Gert, in the flesh, asking if she had organized the party. The redhead smiled coyly and replied, "Who me? No you must have me mistaken with someone else. I didn't do any of this for the team that kicked butt today."
Just as she was about to give him a proper congratulations people started to filter into the room and Selina had to be off to go and play Captain. Say hello, praise her team, kiss the heads of babies, all that jazz.

She started to move as fast as she could through the crowd of people to tackle her brilliant little Seeker, but as she caught up to them all she heard was the back half of the conversation. With a bemused smirk she walked up beside Gideon and wrapped her arm around his side so she was next to him and across from Anya. "Oh I don't know you two. I might not keep you around if you keeping talking like that."
She cracked Anya a grin and then swooped up the first year in a bone shattering hug, "I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!"

Tayla turned to see a girl coming in. She didn't know her name, but noticed that girl had been running. Tayla went over to her with a paper cup filled with juice. "Want some?" Tayla smiled. "Seems you were in a hurry to get here."

Jordan noticed that the Common Room was getting crazy and a bit packed after the Quidditch match, what a match that was. He was glad he could be there to see it. He shouted, "Great Win Guys!"

Tayla took a sip of juice from the cup she was holding and looked around, observing her fellow Gryffindors as they chatted and laughed and celebrated.
Watching them all made her remember something. "Gryffindors! We're 15 points ahead of Slytherin! Let's keep this up, yeah?!" Tayla said as loudly as she could.
She took a step back and jumped in surprise. "Oof!" Some of the juice from her cup had spilled. She turned around to apologize to the person she had hit. "I'm so sorry!" she said. "I hope I didn't spill anything on you."
