The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The entrance to the common room is the portrait of the delightful Fat Lady, and in order to gain entrance to their home away from home, Lions must know the password and speak it to her.

This terms password is ‘Angel’s Trumpet’.

Be sure to remember those words...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you to enter Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to scramble through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs and tables. To the side of the common room you will find the study tables and bookshelves equipped with all that you could need in order to complete your homework assignments, as well as the noticeboard for classes and other school announcements.

A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one side of the wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes. You are likely to find the latest edition of the Gryffindor Gazette on the central tables just waiting to be read. It’s always good to stay informed with your house and school news.

If however you are in need of a nap a good night's rest then there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left. Be sure you don’t go breaking any of the rules by attempting to go up the wrong staircases. Boys don’t stand a chance of beating the enchanted staircase, and frankly girls should know better.

For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home. There's bound to be a perfect or your Head of House lurking in the shadows.

Why black?" he further pointed out towards her. She was trying to hide something, but her hair was giving it away. Now he just wanted to know why it had changed colors, but she wouldn't budge. It deeply bothered him that she wouldn't peep up at all. Whatever it was, if she held it in more it'd be too much and she'd just burst from keeping it bottled in. "There is something and you don't want to tell me. Fine. If you don't want to tell me go tell someone else. Selina, or Jonathan. Whatever it is you can't just store it all up in you."

Maybe she was looking at it all wrong. "Telling someone might help you rather than hurt you. They can comfort you and just be there for you and try to help you the best they can."

She felt her blood boiling inside and if it hadn't been for her feeling her prefect badge in her pocket, Kurumi might very well have pulled out her wand and blasted him out of the way. "Take some of your own advice, Adam. Stop assuming things."

Kurumi tried to march passed him again, but found that he had somehow positioned himself in the stairwell so that it was impossible for her to get past him. Ug. FINE. "Stop it Adam, just stop it!" she said, throwing her arms down at her sides now. "You, Adam Burn, have the emotional range of a teaspoon and do not understand anything about me! Anything. Let me pass!"

Even if she admitted that there was something wrong, Adam was wrong. She was not afraid that telling someone was going to hurt her. She just was sick and tired of relying on others for everything. Constant help from the outside made you weak, and that is ALL she had ever done. Crying on someone's shoulder. Letting someone comfort her about something. Everything up to this point had been nothing compared to what she was facing now. No one could help her. No one.

Tayla ignored the bit of commotion that seemed to be going on. She was concerned, but it was really none of her business. She turned to Maxwell and nodded, focusing on their conversation.

"I've been to a few muggle Hospitals, they're bloody creepy." Not that maxwell had anything against muggles, most of his life was spent in the muggle world, but it certainly wasn't as great, to him as the wizarding world.

"Yeah, we actually met and started fighting but in the end was became friends." He said smiling.

"Not really, My best friend is kinda busy with the quidditch team, my other friend is a slytherin...which is kind of self explanatory and my girlfriend doesn't really remember who i am." "Oh," Tayla said, feeling a bit sad for Maxwell and a little surprised he already had a girlfriend. "Why doesn't she remember you?" Tayla decided to ask, and then added for a more cheerful note. "I'll give you the rest of these chocolates then. Consider it an early birthday present."

Tayla laughed a little at Maxwell's suggestion. "Sure," she replied. No problem for her surely! Tayla loved chocolates. She took one more out of the box and ate it.

My parents did get married this year though other than that my life has been very ordinary. I'm trying to avoid Lafay's wrath though she seems nicer this year. I haven't been paying enough attention to the gossip to know why though." Nessie shrugged sinking futher into the couch.

When Adam finally moved out of the way, Kurumi's aggressive posture shower a flicker of softness. Kurumi immediately pushed that away and continued to struggle with her trunk. Adam was so concerned about her well being? Well, he could have shown it by trying to help her with her trunk instead of being a pusher and trying to pry into her personal life.

Slamming the trunk against the ground since it was becoming clear that she was not going to be able to drag it anymore, Kurumi removed her wand from her coat, levitated it, and cast a simple Locomotor charn on it to have it follow her.

As she passed Adam, she didn't even look at him, but stopped when she heard him speak. "Good night to you, Adam," she said before continuing her way up the stairs towards the girls dormitory.

Tayla listened to Maxwell but kept her eyes on the phoenix. She had never seen an actual phoenix before. When Maxwell asked if she would like to pet Helios, Tayla grinned and nodded. She slowly stretched her arm towards the bird. "Hello there, Helios," she said softly. She carefully touched the bird's feathers and gently stroked them. Tayla couldn't stop smiling. "This is amazing!"

Tayla remembered the scar Maxwell had on his palm. "Why do you have that? Did he land on your hand or something?"

He'd burst into flames and i was maybe 3 or 4 so i ran up to the ashes and pulled him from them, He rose from them a baby bird so he could fit in the palm of my hand and was hot to the touch so he burned me, and ever since then he's been my friend." Maxwell said with a smile.

"This is Marigold," Tayla began. "I got her when I was a first year. I named her Marigold because of the distinct golden feather she has right here." Tayla showed Maxwell what she meant. She let Marigold lift up her left wing, making the golden feather glint. "I also have a chocolate retriever named Cadbury, but he's back in the Muggle world, with my parents and little sister."
