Hurrying down to the court area reserved for Gobstones matches, Josephina hastily pulled two bags of stones from her tote. One bag filled with red stones, the other, green. She knew she was slightly late in starting the first match and she only hoped that some members from each house would still show up.

Upon seeing a few, she nodded respectively at both houses, handing them each their respective colored stones before continuing with her customary beforehand speech. "You've read the rules. Any horseplay or cheating or anything poor misendeavors will not be tolerated. Good luck."

After quick break, Zabini-Riddle was back in the game.... acting as if she'd never left. Giving a curt nod of appreciation to her younger housemate for keeping things in control, the sixth year takes aim and shoots her green stone far out near the Jack Stone. It is soon joined by that of a red one thrown by August Goldstein. Unfortunately for the fourth year, the red one falls short of the Jack Stone, whereas the green one ends up closer.

Slytherin wins the point.

Goldstein wasn't quite sure he was ready and stepped back again from the court, allowing his prefect to take the shot again. Kurumi did it, with ease too, as her red stone landed near the Jack Stone. It might have been a shot that could have been match.... except, where did Zabini-Riddle go? Or even Greingoth?

Nonetheless, Lions take the point.

ooc: just a note, since I got behind ... and didn't run any questions yesterday (like I was supposed to, but wasn't really feeling well after work), I'll be changing the sessions to now - obviously - for another question or two. And then tomorrow, Sunday, about 8pm EST. As well as an alternative time set for Monday morning, 10am EST. Sorry about the confusion this may have caused you <3.

While in her game mode, Kurumi lobs her red stone again, high arching it over the uneven court, in the right direction of the Jack Stone, it falls close to the stone. New player, Hades Vaughn takes the shot for Slytherin, pointing his stone in the direction of the center. It rolled over a bump and off to the edge.... away from the center. Gryffindor takes the point and the round, tying the game!

Back and forth the match seemed to go.... one moment it was Lions landing the stone closer to the Jack Stone, the next, it was the Snakes. And someone that was amiss throughout the first half of the game seemed occur just when Zabini-Riddle launched her green stone in direct line of the Jack Stone, gaining a point for Slytherin and spitting up a bout of gob at the Gryffindor players.

After some time, Sierra took the first move, her green stone bounced a few times in the right direction, but then detoured off to the side. Gideon Gert took up the slack on the careless mistake in Slytherin's throw and aimed. He shot. His stone fell right up near the Jack Stone, sending a spray of gob back at the Slytherin players.

Vengeance was sweet. Sometimes.

Feeling the energies from the last good roll, Gideon aimed again, his red stone bouncing off the edge, at a good momentum ..... it's quickly joined on the court by a green one, thrown by none other than sixth year, Zabini-Riddle, who's focused and alert. Both stones roll..... quickly.... toward the Jack Stone...

.... And finally, roll to a stop. Just alongside the Jack Stone, the red one stopping a smidgen closer.... giving Gryffindor both the point and the round! Gryffindor now leads in rounds, but Slytherin still maintains a lead on points!

Gideon was quite ecstatic at having gained two points and thus as the new round began, he might have accidentally let some enthusiasm get the best of him and his rolls. He rolled his red stone, but unfortunately, this time, it rolled askew from the Jack Stone..... Sierra picked up her own stone, taking the cue, and rolled it ... in which it bounced over the bump in the court and gently right up to the Jack Stone.

Slytherin takes the first point of the round, but it was really still anyone's round.
