"Thanks! She's just too slow-witted to come up with a good trashy-name for me." she said with a little laugh. It was true, too, Adeline wasn't the brightest crayon in the box...hehe. "I know. There should be a separate house called the cool kids!" she said laughing at how lame that sounded. Hehe. Whatever. She would never change Hogwarts, but she wished that the houses could mix dorms... or something? "Thanks! You didn't have to get me anything, though!" she said being modest, even though she absolutely adored presents. That would be really fun! Girls sleepover, secrets, painting nails, swapping the latest Hogwarts gossip, debating who were the cutest guys... "Or it could be just us! Your decision!" she said happily, excited for tonight. Super, duper, DUPER EXCITED! Eeeps! |

"Well duh," Fina frowned when the student start chuckling. "Reading is entertainment for hours and doesn't require spending any money other than the cost of the book." She was frugal, no doubt about that. "It's peaceful. Not to mention . . . educational." Which made sense with her being an educator, eh? "And working your brain is good for you, you know. No one likes a dummy." Not to mention that reading gave you conversational points... Eh? She did usually wear heels and why was a seventeen year old giving her suggestions over what to wear? This wasn't how it was supposed to be. Granted her baby sister did that too ... but that was her sister, not her student! "I do wear heels... normally." She glanced down at her current flats. "But well, I like socks at night. Keeps my feet warm and gives me something to patrol around the castle with, comfortingly." Cause who wanted to wear painful heels at two in the morning? Blink. Why was Savannah Conrad, Seventh Year Slytherin, offering to help HER - a Professor - pick out socks? Unless she wanted something . . . "Not unless you want to.... I mean, I'm not going to force you to help me with anything." Yes, make it the girl's choice. Then she wouldn't have to give her anything, but maybe a pair of socks in exchange. |

Giggling at Snelly's suggestion, Kodes nodded, "Of course! Only, we should be the Glitter!Gang." Because Glitter was awesome. And so were they. So it made absolute perfect sense! Pfft. "Have to? Course not. Want to? Duuuuh." Because that was the FUN thing to do. Mhmmm. "Nope, this is for YOU. So YOU get to decide." Either way, Kodes was going to need to stalk up on fun things. Yeppp. She'd need new nailpolish colors and stuffs. |
Quote:
"That's perfect! We ALL need to call ourselves that. I'm gonna spread the word." she said happily, clapping her hands together. The Glitter!Gang. The perfect name for the glitter loving, designer wearing, boy-loving group of friends that were always there for each other. She was so glad to have friends like that. She giggled with her and decided. "Hmm, okay. We'll both invite about 2 friends? It's a small group, but it's more intimate and fun!" she said excitedly, this being her first Hogwarts-slumberparty. "We can sneak down to the Kitchens, grab some low-cal smoothies, frozen yogurt, play some music, and have loads of fun!" she said happily. Eeeep, slumber-party! She was so gonna miss Kodes. She betta be adopted! Hehe. |

Giggling, Kodes nodded "Okaiii, we'll be the most awesome Hogwarts crew like...ever." And Lori should be the leader, 'cause she was the ORIGINAL Glitter lover. She wasss at Hogwarts first, riiight? Invite 2 friends? O_o "Well, erm, it might just be you, me and your friends." 'cause Kody didn't even KNOW two hufflepuffs besides Snelly. Lori, yeah, but she'd be busy with prefect duties. Poutt. "But that's okay, it'll still be fun. Yeah?" Oh yes, and getting food and make over stuff was a MUST. |
Stop number 2!, Arabella thought as she walked into Gladrags Wizardwear. I wonder what ill find in here. She smiled at the shopkeeper as she made her way over to the shelf with winter-wear. This store isnt nearly as crowded as Honeydukes was. :cold2: A beautiful Slytherin colored scarf was sitting right on top of a large pile or scarves. It caught Arabella's eye instantly. She snatched it up and unfolded it. It would be perfect for her boyfriend! He will love it. , she thought while she ran its flannel weaving through her fingers. Not even bothering to look at everything else in the store, she pulled a galleon out of her purse and handed it to the shopkeeper. Her change was 4 knuts. She dropped it into the small basket labeled FOR CHARITY. The shopkeeper looked at Arabella's face, then to the Slytherin crest on her traveling cloak. Arabella just smiled, and called "Merry Christmas!!" over her shoulder as she strolled out of the shop. |
Raven walked at a dress shop, he need to buy scarp and cloak, because in less a month the snow will come, to be prepared in coldest days in England. Raven entered to shop, and tried to find what he needed most, he may choose a black cloak, and a scarp colored in black too. the shop seem no costumer, he wandered momentarily finding the shopkeeper, or may be he will bounce in someone he knew. |
Lilly walked into the shop, just to be out of the cold. "Oooh, these earmuffs are nice, and I probbably need some new ones," she said aloud. She stared at the fluffy red ones with gold thread. They were even :gryff: colours! |
Shopping! One of the few very girly things that Caroline enjoys doing. And she was most likely to be with Kita while she was doing it. She was suppose to be meeting Kita there after the hufflepuffs practice was over. It was no telling how long that would take. So Caroline, already pretty excited to have a Hogsmeade weekend finally, headed on down to Hogsmeade. She walked into the little shop. And immedately saw the cutest Silver pair of dress rodes. She squealed as she ran to them. O___o What? She was turing into a such a girly girl. Squealing like a fangirl over a dress. She picked it up. It was her size. She just had to try it on but Kita wasn't there yet. But when she did it wasn't like she was going to be leaving here soon anyway. She hurried over to the fitting rooms. She needed to try this dress on. It was too cute. |

Darn it, was she LATE?! Kita looked down at her watch and gasped. SHE WAS LATE! And for SHOPPING! What was this world GOING TO?! She looked up and continued running down the main road, wincing slightly every now and then. As much fun as Quidditch was, she couldn't help but be slightly glad to be out of the pitch. All those bludgers flying out of nowhere and the weather being horrible was just too much. But the worst part was the fact that she had to tie her hair up in a ponytail for long periods of time. Hmph! OH! There it was! Gladrags! The place she said she'd meet Caroline! And it was a clothe's store! PERFECT! Kita ran the last couple of metres towards the door of the shop, pulled open the door and stepped in. And then came the squeal. She was in one of her favourite stores in Hogsmeade, doing one of her favourite things to do and with her best friend! Could it get any better? Speaking of best friend, where was she? The girl had to be somewhere nearby didn't she? Unless she was the one who was late...? Nah! That didn't sound like her at all. Frowning slightly, she decided to use her voice. "Caroline!" she called, looking around her. Yes, ok, maybe she shouldn't have done that. |
lol the dress is going to be green not silver XD Quote:
Looking around the shop trying to spot out Kita. One would think that it would be easy to spot out the tall Hufflepuff. But not when the one looking was short. She stood on her tiptoes. Still hiding behind the curtain she called back to Kita. "Hey, KITA over here." There was no way she was coming out behind the curtain now. Dressing up and all the girly stuff, it made her neverous..... very neverous. |
Cael followed in behind Jayden, immediately heading over to the funkiest hats he could find. He'd pick the craziest one he could find, maybe that'd cheer her up. Sorting through the magically-expanding racks, he muttered, "No, not this one. Too purple. Too silly. Too dead, ugh... and perfect," he breathed reverently, fishing the hat out from behind the others. "What do you think, Jay? I was thinking about wearing this to your ball. Or this, whichever you prefer," he grinned devilishly. |
Quote:
"Hey how about these?" Jayden asked trying on a hippie chic style hat and a Green bow that she was considering purchasing. |
Quote:
"I like your hair this color, you know," he spouted randomly, "You should keep it this way for a bit," he smiled, thumbing through some of the other racks. |
Quote:
"Oh. Thank you!" Jayden replied softly, her face starting to heat up. "I think I will keep it this way, it contrasts beautifully with your golden locks." She smiled, running her hands through his hair. "So are you excited for the next Care of Magical Class? I hear that the professor is talking about taking us into the forest, although that might just be a rumor." She mentioned excitedly. Jayden liked working with animals, and the forest was so taboo that she couldn't help but want to go in. |
Quote:
"Feels good," he mumbled, pulling her into a hug. Cael's heart started beating rapidly when she mentioned CoMC, sounding like a roaring drum in his ears. "The Forrest... really?" he breathed, trying to sound natural. Oh Merlin, if only it were true. It could be the perfect opportunity for him to find one; maybe they were even going to study them! This was perfect. He could feel the start of his whole day turning around. Cael was filled with a sense of hope he hadn't felt in a long time; he hugged Jayden tighter. "What do you suppose we'll be doing there?" |
Quote:
"You seem to be excited about that! Do you plan to run off with the Centaurs or something?" She joked, turning back to another hat that caught her attention. |

"But as I said about the forest, it might be a rumor. Pity if it is though, I want to see what's inside." She muttered sadly as she stood on tip-toe to give Cael a quick kiss. |
Quote:
"Well what do you say? On to the next adventure?" he asked, putting all of his hats back. ooc: I gotta go to sleep, finish this tomorrow? |
Quote:
This was turning out to be a nice date. ooc: Yup! Just have Cael meet Jay at the Quill shoppe. |

Hahaha! Alright then. xD Sorry about the lateness! Quote:
This was something she wasn't entirely accustomed to. Not the shopping or the store. She was totally accustomed to that! No. She wasn't used to being LOST in a store. It's just... SHE COULDN'T FIND THE PERSON SHE WAS LOOKING FOR! :whaa: And then came the voice. A familiar voice. One she was used to hearing a lot. ... Caroline? Kita's ears perked up slightly. Maybe, if she followed the voice, she would be able to find the blonde girl? Yes. It was a plan! She turned and started walking towards the source of the sound, trying her hardest not to make any noise. But... it was hard! The only thing she could hear was the sound of her own heels clicking on the floor. Hmph! Deciding to follow her gut instinct, Kita found herself heading towards... the changing rooms? Caroline was trying on clothes? ALREADY?! Not knowing where to go, she stopped outside one of the closed changing rooms. Ws Caroline in there? "Er... Caroline?" she asked, "Are you in there?" ... Imagine if it wasn't Caroline! o_O |
Jez cast a expert eye over the sock display. Ah what a glorious time of year Christmas was - you could buy people replacement items you broke, and pass them off as gifts. For instance, Jez's cat Rowena had chewed her eldest brother Hadrian's favourite pair of socks into kitty litter last summer, and Jez had been told - well, demanded on pain of torture - to replace them. She'd put it off until now so she could pass the replacement socks off as Hadrian's Christmas present. See how convenient this gift-giving thing was? She chose a pair of Puddlemere United socks and, because it was Christmas and she was feeling generous towards Hadrian, a matching scarf. 1 galleon, 13 sickles, 10 knuts. Merry Christmas, brother. |
