Patrick sighed and ran a hand down his face. Yeah it sounded like something Ella would do and make Milo get mad at. It's not like he actually wanted to meet the guy anyway. From what he heard, Milo hated his guts. "Seriously Ella, sometimes you just need to hold your tongue and not blurt stuff out," he told her. He didn't exactly like hearing that Aiden was her best friend. "Do you think he...likes you?" he questioned, sort of choking out the last part. He really would like to hear what she thought. Patrick was getting slightly frustrated at what Ella was saying. "Listen Ella, she has no idea where her dad is and isn't allowed to see anyone on her dad's side of the family and the only family on her mum's side already died too. All of her friend's are underage. She doesn't have a lot of options. Besides, it will only be until the end of school and then she'll go and live in her own flat," he explained in a hard tone again. Plus she had a 14 year old sister. "Nothing will happen! I can't believe you don't even trust me!" he cried. What the hell... "Don't know yet. I'll worry about that later," he replied to her question. It's not like he wanted to go anyway either. He would though. Force himself into awful dress robes. He chuckled at her comment and smiled as she kissed him on the cheek. "She will. I just don't want to see you give up on her completely." Where would the effort be there? "Yes I said that, but not that dress," he said with a roll of his eyes. She's just look scary in that dress. He listened to what she wanted and nodded. "Ooookay." Now time to look around for something that matched the requirements and Ella's attitude. He spotted one that was short, strapless and shiny looking. Then he realized it was practically made out of leather. He held it up for her to see. "What do you think about this one?" he asked. |
Ella frowned at Patrick. Wasn't her fault that she was slightly outspoken. Grr. "I do try you know." She insisted. She had been trying recently anyway.. She paused again as he blurted out the question about Aiden. Should she tell him the truth or... Aghh, so difficult. Then she decided, honesty was the best policy. "He does like me." She winced as she waited for his reaction. "He told me the other day. But don't worry. I-I'm with you aren't I." She smiled and took his hand. It wasn't exactly what she had told Aiden but.. meh. Ella listened to his explaination with her eyes narrowed. It didn't leave her much options to argue back. "I do trust you!" Lies. She didn't trust him in the slightest. "If Aiden moved in with me, you would be exactly the same so shut up!" She huffed as the jealousy took over. She blinked as he said he didn't know who to go with yet. Well that was a kick in the stomach. She ignored him for a moment but looked back at him when he continued. "Of course I won't. I want to be her friend." She smiled kindly. That may sound very unlikely, but it was the truth. Friends were better than enemies, right? "Okay. I agree." She put the pink frilly thing back on the hook then watched as Patrick went to find her a dress. She couldn't help but laugh uncontrolably. He looked like a fashion designer or something. As he pulled out a dress, she studied it for a moment. Wow, he was pretty good at this dress hunting stuff. "Oh. I like that one actually." It was probably the only one that would suit her in this shop. Ella took the dress from Patrick and held it up against her. "What d'ya think?" |
"I'm sure you do try," he said, deciding just to go along with her. Even if she did try to keep her mouth shut it wasn't as if she wouldn't blurt offensive stuff out again sometime. It was mentally and physically impossible for Ella Ainsworth not to. He looked at her with an irritated expression. Oh God! And there he was being nice to Aiden earlier. He should have smacked him for even daring to say that. "I knew it! Why can't that kid just stick to the other girlfriend's he has?" It's not like he was majorly jealous or anything because he didn't get jealous but it still made him mad and it wasn't as if Ella's tone sounded convincing either. "No it isn't the same! It's not as if it's just the two of us. Bonnie Campbell will be there too. Plus my cousin Thalia is coming for Christmas!" he declared, just remembering that his cousin had wrote him. It would be nice to see her again. "You girls are just so hard to understand," he muttered with a chuckle, rolling his eyes. Absolutely undeniably confusing. They had the weirdest emotions ever and went sort of loony at other times. Guys were easier to read and understand. Plus they didn't really hold grudges toward each other. He was glad to hear she liked the dress. It looked very Ella-ish in his opinion. Feisty and rebellious. He considered it as she held it up. Hmm....well of course he definitely liked it! That had been his own pick for gosh sake. "Yeah I really like it. So are you done or do you want to keep looking?" he asked. |
Ella nodded but didn't say anymore. Just sounded like he didn't believe her but whatever. She WAS trying to be nice. It just wasn't working out too well at the moment. Oh fabulous. Here came Patrick's irritation. "Don't worry Patrick. I'll tell him that i'm not interested." Because she still hadn't done it. She was pretty dazed and in a dreamy state when he told her. "Fine whatever! I hope you all have such an awesome time in your lovely flat." She snarled. It was mainly the jealousy now. Not that she didn't trust him or anything. "No were not! It's guys that are hard to understand!" Especially when you try and figure out their feelings and stuff. Guys were so guarded compared to girls. Well, Ella was pretty guarded herself. "I have no idea what goes on in your little head." She chuckled lightly. Ella grinned when he said it looked nice. Well he would wouldn't he, because he picked it out himself. "Yeah, I think i'll just take this one." She said with a nod. "Stay here." She zoomed off to the counter with her chosen dress and paid for it happily. Once she had done so, she returned back to Patrick and pecked him on the lips. "Thanks for helping me pick it out!" |
Sarah and Oliver! Errr. He had seen her trying to sneak off. Crap. Hehe. "I wasn't trying to esc-" She shook her head, making a face and turning to Sarah. "I wasn't....Just needed some fresh air..." When she got to the last word, it seemed like her own air was swooshing out from her lungs and she slumped her shoulders. She was never a good liar. Blink. What was he doing? Miranda watched Oliver put the robes on and then snorted at his appearance. It really did NOT bring out his best features. Bahaha. "It....looks..." what the hell was she supposed to say? "BfffffffffpppphhAHAHAHAHA!" She turned to Sarah, joining her. Oh, he would look sooo much better in anything else. Her laughter was reduced to giggles, and then general gasping. "Yeah..." Phew. His question had gone unanswered. HEhe. Miranda was quite unaware of Olivers sudden end of good humour, returning to the catalogue. Two lady models were twirling around in their gigantic dresses, looking like they were having the time of their lives. "Silly..." They can twirl around and wear PANTS. PFffft. Miranda did it all the time. Hehe. Hm, no poodle mask, then? He wasn't going? She raised an eyebrow at the boy. Like, really? "Really?" Hm, this, she didn't quite believe? "There's going to be..." Eurgh. "Dancing. Like...and that moonwalk stuff you do. Probably." Assumptions. "Muggle clothes." She nodded, peeking up from her catalogue, "Good choice. That...ensemble you're wearing..not really your style, is it?" Hehe. Blushing? WhoS BLUsHing?! "I'm nooooooooot." Cue akward giggle-thing. Dangit. She covered her face with the book, only her eyes were visible, hoping the blushing would be covered. "A short dress....is too short." Well duuuuh. "I just...I'll freeze...?" Heh. And...she wasn't sure she wanted to make a fool of herself with Ollie being here and all. Back to the catalogue, but apparently her awesome pants idea was not really such a good one? Jeans? "Yes?" Eh. "What's wrong with jeans?" She stretched out her legs and peeked over the catalogue again, at her jeans covered legssssss. "Are you saying I don't look good in jeans?" POUUUUT. Brant. Hm. "No...he hasn't asked me..." She started to chew her lower lip with a small frown, eyes glazing over. "He's been kind of busy too..." Maybeeeee he didn't want to go with her? She suddenly felt a pang of sadness. Bleh, since when had she started to care about this stuff. Go together? Yeah, that would be nice. 'Cause, who needed boys...right? PFFFFT. "Sounds like a great PLAN, SarAH!" Why was she shouting?? |

"You girls let your emotions rage and sometimes us guys want to hide our heads in the dirt. Like an ostrich or something," he threw back but not as hard as he had been speaking. Yeah great comparison Dubois. An ostrich. Very clever. "We have no idea what goes on in your little head either." Take that Ainsworth. He watched as she went off to pay for the dress and was glad she had decided on one so fast. He knew other girls were most likely going to be in here for hours unsure of what to pick. Then she came back and kissed him and he couldn't help but let a grin meet his lips. "Your more than welcome." |
Ella stood with her eyes narrowed as Patrick didn't believe her. Pshh, there he was looking for trust when he didn't trust her either. Boys.. "Patrick, i'm not interested! I only had doubts about us because I thought you still liked Vanessa. But I believe that I was mistaken okay?" She explained as clearly as she could. She shook her head and grabbed both of his hands as he continued. "It's you that I want Patrick. I'm sorry for being a pain I just -" She paused and sighed. Perhaps it was just confusion that Ella was feeling, because this moment showed her that she didn't want to lose him. It felt like he had just stomped on her when he said that he wasn't going to invite her round anymore. But instead of doing the normal girly thing and crying, she frowned. "...fine then." She barely said. "An Ostrich? I see." Ella said with an amused expression. That obviously came from the top of his head. Bless. "Not all girls let their emotions rage. Guys do it too." Patrick was a good example of that. Cough, stupefying Trixie, cough. Hehe. "Well I guess guys and girls are confusing." She shrugged. And it was rather annoying indeed. Ella smiled back as she saw Patrick's grin. His smile was too cute not to respond to. With her new dress in a bag, Ella looked around the shop for a moment then back at Patrick. "So, did you want to look back over at the scarves? Orrrr.. something else?" She asked with a smile. They were having a real up and down conversation at the moment. Ella liked the positive part to be honest. |
Patrick listened as she said she was mistaken. Pftt...yeah right. He knew that she wasn't exactly honest with that but whatever Ella. They weren't ever going to be perfect. "Okay fine. I'll believe you. It's just we both have to work to make this last." It was perfectly clear that they did. They were both having trust issues. He sighed as she grabbed his hands. He believed that she did want him but he felt she wanted Aiden too. Patrick pulled her close to him and whispered, "Besides, I'm more fun than Aiden," with a smirk and mischievous glint in his eye. "Why settle for a Gryffie over a bad boy?" He kissed her firmly on the lips then let her go. "You're still invited." It's not as if he didn't want his girlfriend over because he did. He chuckled and rolled his eyes. He knew Ella would take that as something very amusing. "We don't cry over a girl when they reject us or want revenge when our best friend dates an ex girlfriend. Though we tend to beat them up." Ehh...that was the best he could come up with. "Yeah the opposite gender is definitely more confusing." It was true for both he supposed. He looked back at the scarves and just shrugged. "Nah, I may as well use the handy Internet for that. Muggles are very useful you know." He took her hand and led her towards the door. The sky was dimming and it looked as if most were heading back to the castle. "Why don't I walk with you back to the castle," he suggested. |
Wow, Ella hadn't expected Patrick to let the subject drop so quickly. She was greatful, but still got the impression that he didn't believe her. She wouldn't dwell on that though. "Yeah. You're right. As long as you do want us to last." She said quietly. As he pulled her closer to him, she leaned her head against his chest. Hehe. "Too right." She chuckled. Which reminded her, she still hadn't got the info about his detention out of him. There was still time. Mwa ha. Before she could respond to his gesture, she was pulled in for a kiss which made her heart flutter. She held it there for a moment then pulled back when he did. "Really? I would love to." She grinned and hugged him. So weird how the mood lightened so quickly. "And... not all girls cry all the time." She pointed to herself. "When have you ever seen me cry?" She asked seriously. Meh, she was more of a shouter than a crier. That kind of proved his point about girls giving off a lot of rage though didn't it.. Meh, whatever. She blinked for a moment. 'Internet?' Ohh, it was muggle-related. Perfectly understandable why she didn't have a clue. "Okay awesome. Can't wait to get out of here." She grinned, then took hold of his hand. |

"Please wait till the vehicle has come to a complete stop. Should you need assistance getting onto the tarmak, please ask. Thank you for flying with Dakest airlines. We hope you to see you again." And with that he made the sound of a plane door opening as he let Arya down off his back. |

Giggling, she slid off of Sabel's back. "That was a wonderful flight, hopefully on my next trip there will be snacks." She jested as she let her hand run over a few black school robes. Seeing all of the different types of robes had her thinking about the ball. Arya made note to send her parents an owl for her dress. And there was her distraction. "I think this will look marvelous on you." She held up a long purplish robe that had caught her eye. |

Following her about the robe section, he let his eyes wander the store, eyeing some of the gloves and hats that were avaliable. He nearly ran into Arya when she stopped and blinked rapidly down at the robe she was holding out. A small smile touched the corners of his lips as he reached out and picked up one of the sleeves, holding the rather frilly lined seam up between them. "You think I look good in frills?" Because that wasn't disturbing at all. |
Quote:
Surpressing her laughter, she nodded her head. "Yes, it....adds to the outfit, don't you think? You should wear it to the ball." She would make sure to have a camera on hand if he did. "You'll be the talk of the castle." |

Truth be told, he didn't want to have to try on the black robe with neon purple stripes running across its seams and hems that was hanging with the others. No thank you. |

Reaching the rack of earmuffs he searched about before finding one that made him smile. Soft, plushy earmuffs of a gentle orange hew; not too bright and not too dull, just right. Pulling them off the shelf he tested the size before nodding. Just perfect. With another glance to make sure Arya was still busy looking at robes, he made his way to the counter to pay for the garment. Best purchase of the year thus far. |
Rubiey wandered into the empty shop, and the warmth of it hit her straight away; it contrasted so much with the freezing cold outside. She needed to find a present for Fee and Alice; they were staying over at hers, and, being her best friends, she wanted to get them something special. As she glanced around, she spotted something pink and glittery, and she went straight over to it. It was a soft, fluffy, pale pink scarf, with bits of glittery string weaved into it. It had Fee written all over it. She took it over to the counter, and paid her 16 sickles and 25 knuts. She smiled happily to herself. One down, one to go. |
for anyone who wants <3 Honestly Josephina hated clothes shopping, which is why she generally procrastinated doing such tasks until her sister(s) complained of how outdated her clothes looked ... or till they were worn so thin that they barely served their purpose anymore. Which is why she entered Gladrags at that very moment . . . Actually no. She needed socks. And earmuffs because she hadn't noticed last year, but it was FREEZING in England Winters compared to that of African ones. Perusing the shelves, she squinted up at the high racks which contained the designed socks. It was like a curse to those under the height of 5'6 that they shouldn't be able to purchase fun designs. Mentally cursing herself for wearing low flats instead of heels, she then reminded herself that she needed hosiery too. Ugh, shopping was a nightmare! |

Savannah obviously liked shopping, considering she was skipping through the aisles. Wasn't that an odd sight? A tall girl standing at about 5'10 prancing like a unicorn through a store. Did Savannah really need anything? Nope, she didn't need anything at all. That never stopped her before though. The blonde took a halt as she saw someone standing in one of the aisles looking almost flustered. WHY WERE THEY FLUSTERED!?? They were SHOPPING and shopping was more fun than anything in the whole wide world. Oh haiiiiiiiii.....it was a professor! O_O A worried look spread on Savannah's face, hopefully she wouldn't get yelled at for skipping like a fairy princess inside a store?!? So the blonde stood, silent, her heels no longer clicking because she wasn't skipping. |

Gulping, she stared as she recognized the blond girl/woman/child from her classes. Except in her classes, everyone was always seated so she never noticed how TALL the girl was and how oddly inferior she felt . . . even though she was the professor. OH! She totally she have worn her heels! "Good afternoon, Miss Conrad, is it?" Best to still maintain formalities even if they were in Hogsmeade. "Cold day today for shopping, eh?" Actually, if it involved shopping, even if the weather was a 120 degrees, it'd still be cold for Fina. |
