At the top of the steep steps, high in Ravenclaw Tower your dormitory awaits you. The circular room is lined with beds and trunks, a few owls flutter about the space and several cats chase dustballs on the wooden floor. Books and homework cast throughout the room show just how studious the members of Ravenclaw are. Pull back the sheets and close the curtains because another day of learning lies ahead!
Kendra selected a yellow jelly bean, not knowing what flavour it was in the slightest. The rat seemed to always think it was cheese though, even if it smelt distinctivly of ear wax. 'Oh, no' Kendra replied, smiling. 'Rats just sorta keep it all in their cheeks and mush it down with their teeth. At least this one does.' She laughed slightly. 'Kendra Holmes.' Kendra replied, reaching the hand without the rat in and shaking the girls hand. 'Nice to meet you.'
Even though she really didn’t like rats, Gwen tried to act normal. It is just a pet. It won’t scratch or bite- right? Riiiight? Hopefully… And that rat even thinks it is cheese? Psh… please.‘What’s your rat’s name, anyway?’, Gwendolyn asked and looked at the pet. Maybe it isn’t so bad…
‘Nice to meet you too’, the third year said while shaking Kendra’s hand. ‘Though- I think I’ve seen you at the Sorting Ceremony… errr… you are a first year, right?’, Gwen smirked and waited to see if she was correct. Suppose she was indeed new at Hogwarts, the third year went on talking: ‘So how do you like it here so far?’
Glimpsing at her trunk for a second, the Ravenclaw spotted her cat, Jinx playing with the Sneakoscope Ari had landed to her. ‘Hmph’, she chuckled. So the cat was busy- hopefully the Sneakoscope was more interesting than the rat, and Jinx wouldn’t chase him around.

Presley nodded. Lots of things had changed lately. She felt as though she'd returned to a Hogwarts that had gone through a grounds-makeover. Everything about the castle seemed the same to her, but the lawn had some new additions, and the tree-house was missing. Which was sad, since it had been something Presley really liked. "Yeah, I did see it actually. I haven't had time to explore it yet, but I noticed it on my jog yesterday. I was thinking about going down there this afternoon and checking out all of the renovations."
Was she all right? Of course! "Yeah, I'm great," Presley assured Gwen. "I just kinda...I don't know. I feel like I need a really hard question or a riddle or something to answer. I almost want to walk in and out of the common room a ton of times so that I'll have to think about riddles and answers, but the knocker usually doesn't debate your answer with you, ya know?" It just told you whether your logic was sound or not.
‘Nono’, Gwen began saying and gestured with her hand. ‘Don’t get me wrong… Err… I’m just feeling that I have so much to do and so little time’, the third year tried to explain. Feeling long?! Psh…, Gwen told herself, but tried not to laugh. That would be a bit too rude.
‘There’s a lot to see, but my favorite place remains the topiary garden’, Gwendolyn mused and started remembering the wonderful time she spent there with her friends earlier that day. ‘I still haven’t seen what has changed in the castle. My friend Jory told me there’s something like a theatre…’ Although Gwen wasn’t sure that was so interesting. Meh… just something made by muggles. ‘Then again, I can’t even tell what changed in the castle, since I haven’t seen all of it in the past two years. Yesterday I came across a hideous tapestry- something with trolls trained for ballet. Hideous!’Not to mention ancient!
‘Huh?!’, the third year said, looking really surprised. She knew Presley liked riddles, but wasn’t this a bit much? Err. ‘All riiight…?’, Gwen said, looking really puzzled. Anyway- I’m not going to start a debate… Merlin knows how that would end, she told herself and remembered how the last debates with some students ended. Urgh. Getting mad at people…

'His name?' Kendra asked, then shook her head. 'He doesn't have one yet. I can't quite think of something that would suit him. Until then, he's just 'The Rat.' She laughed slightly. The girl was looking warily at the rat. Kendra often forgot that many people didn't like them. After all, in many places they were classed as vermin. 'Promise he won't bite.' She reassured Gwen
'Right.' Kendra nodded in response. 'It's great! I'm not totally understanding half of what goes on this place at this present moment in time, but hopefully that will change.' Kendra frowned slightly, as if making a wish.
'Is that your cat?' Kendra asked, following the girls gaze.
Melanie woke up, blinking blearily. From the bit of blue light that was filtering through her curtains, she knew it was morning. She had hoped it would be early and she could go back to sleep, but no such luck.
She rolled out of bed, putting her feet on the floor as she pulled back the curtains. She grabbed a handful of clothes from her trunk, including mismatched socks (because, seriously, as if she was expected to find two of the same in this monstrous piece of luggage) and hobbled to the bathroom.
She hopped in the shower, wondering what today at Hogwarts would be like and nervous for her first Transfiguration class. She wondered if she'd have that class with some of the other girls. That'd be nice. Then she started daydreaming about what she'd have for breakfast, and hoped someone else would be up soon so she wouldn't have to eat alone.

Autumn had been lieing awake in her bedroom ay dreaming for a while now, she often did that to get into a nice mood for the day she heard someone else get up, it was melanie. Autumn pushed the covers off her! It wasn't as cold as she had expected she pulled the curtains of her bed shut, she didnt need a shower she never does morning showers always night! And got undressed, she pulled on all her clothes and then re-opened the curtains.
Luckily there was a chest of drawers next to her bed. Unluckily they couldn't hold all her make-up hair stuff ect.
But her mum had treated her to some magic hairstraightners which don't need elctricity, she tilted her mirror and turned them on, while they were heating up she brushed through her golden hair. ushed half of hair u and tied it there, then began to straighten layer by layer bit by bit, until finally it was done. She took the front section of her hair and french laited it own the side and fixed it with hairspray.
Autumn decided she was going to do a bit extra makeup today, she set it all out, foundation, concealer, blush, eyelina, mascara and lipgloss. Like everyday she got to work on her mak-up. She used her brush to pply the foundation, concealer and blusher then came the tricky part she was never very good with eyeliner, at first she usd the pencil on the bottom.... That looked OK. Then the liquid and tried to do a thin streak with a tiny flick. But whenever autumn tried this it turned into a thick flick. But for once it didnt go to bad, then the rest of the makeup. She hoped she looked ok-ish.
Her friends always looked so pretty! She ws jealous of how pretty Melanie was and her muggle friends!

Well, this turned out to be quite awkward for Violet. It had already seemed like the third year didn't really appreciate her when she spoke a word once the third year rolled her eyes. It had already depressed her slightly "No..no. it's fine. I can manage a cat. It's just sniffles. I'll just.." Violet thought for a moment how to finish off. "I'll just try and stay away from your cat then. Thanks for the tissue." As Violet took it from her. "I think I should better go and head to class now." Violet picked up her bags and books and hurried down stairs on the verge of tears. Why couldn't she be just normal for once?

Didn't she know it was having some fun ... One of the last things she wanted to do was upsetting her or make her nervous it all came out totally wrong she gave her a smile "I was joking.. emm.. Besides safety of a student is much more important than a cats..," the girl looked as if she could burst into tears another thing she didn't want "I didn't mean to upset you..," looking upset, she was gone, blink blink
Pam trudged into the dorms, dreading what was to come. She had recieved two letters in one day. One of them she had already read, while the other was in her hand. She didn't want to open it. She wanted to throw it out a window, and forget about it. But this is Jared's letter, she knew that. If she were to throw this away, she was throwing away valuble information.
She sat down on her bed, and crossed her legs. Her hands were shaking as she opened the letter.

It didn't say who it was from. But Pam didn't need it in writing. She knew who it was from. And in a way, she knew he was right. But she didn't want to believe it. She stuffed the letter under her pillow, and curled up under her blankets.

Jez woke up screaming. Actually she'd taken to sleeping in a ball under her blankets, a habit picked up from sleeping in abandoned shops with only a jacket for warmth, so her screams were muffled. She threw the blankets off her head, staring around wildly, shivering. The dorm was quiet, as everyone was asleep. Moonlight spilled in through an open window near her. Jez slipped out of bed and tip-toed over to the window, sitting down on the wide stone ledge and opening the window a bit. The cold wind seemed to calm her down a little, and she made herself comfortable on the ledge, staring down into the dark grounds. Jez wasn't afraid of the dark - there were too many other things in this world to be frightened of without adding silly little details like lack of light. Things like Jared and Team Wolf.
Jez shuddered, hugging her knees to her chest. Her nightmares were so vivid, so realistic, that she had to glance over at Pam's bed to make sure her friend was alive, not being tortured and eventually killed by Jared. She would have liked to check on Nate too, just in case, but she had a feeling the teachers wouldn't accept a dream as an excuse for being in the boys' dorm. He was never tortured in her nightmares - she supposed she should be somewhat glad she didn't have to see him screaming in agony like when she saw Pam - but seeing his body, the blood spreading over his shirt and dripping onto the floor, his blank glassy eyes ... that was enough. You didn't need audio with those terrifying visuals. Then her own death - a quick Killing Curse, sent straight at her. Jez always hated that her dream self had a quick and painless end compared to her friends'.
She had a feeling the nightmare had been planted in her mind by Jared - that somehow, he was using long-distance Legilimency against her. It would explain how Team Wolf had known where the safe house was, and where to find them in Diagon Alley ... what if they knew about Lex and Kieran? What if Jared was 'reading' her mind right now, as she was thinking of them?
Jez leant her head against the window. She couldn't be totally sure her own mind was safe anymore. And if you can't trust yourself, who can you trust?

Hm? what.. she sat up staring at the terrified and screaming second year her raised an eyebrow at her ... still half a sleep she stood up to wandered over to her in the pitch black room she d-didn't REALLY think it threw hm? She felt on banisters and other objects which she couldn't identify by touch..
''E-everything.. alright?,'' she asked the girl as she put her hand out to make sure she wouldn't bump in to anyone
Pam walked into the dorms, and changed into her pajamas. Putting her arm up to her mouth and taking a sniff, she could vaugly smell her house. The sent of pancakes that wafted up to her room every morning. The smell of her dad as he would playfully sit on her to wake her up. The sents she would never smell again. Tears filled her eyes as she thought of her burnt down home. Of Keegan pulling her father from the burning house. She couldn't bear the thought of losing her father. Even her mother, who was lost in the wreckage, was someone she didn't want to be without.
Sleeping was something Pam had long past lost. Instead, she climbed into her sheets, and curled into a ball. She spent the long hours of the night, imagining what had happened to her parents. And when that became unbearable, she thought about the letter Jared sent her. The letter that burned through her pillow. Was she really just a 'pet' to her friends? Was Nate really just staying her 'friend' because he felt sorry for her?

"Oh, hi Autumn!" Melanie said, surfacing from the bathroom, "Hope I didn't wake you." She picked some lint off her uniform and began packing her books for the day into her school bag.
"I'm gonna be heading down to breakfast soon, if you wanna come," she offered, grabbing her small makeup bag and a mirror. "Hopefully my mom figured out how to send me an owl because that fancy dinner party is tonight," she said as she began swiping foundation lightly across her face. "I'd rather not have to go in my uniform," she chuckled.

Jez turned, startled, as she heard a voice behind her. "Oh, um, hi. Did I wake you up? Sorry." She smiled half-heartedly. "I'm okay, thanks." Liar, liar, pants are smoking ... Jez hesitated. "I'm just worried about my friends," she said quietly. Try terrified for, guilty about, going out of her mind with anxiety ... but hey, she was okay. Jez squinted through the dimness at the girl. "Um, it's Lulu, right?" Third year? Jez had seen her in that Charms lesson.

The girl seemed quite startled by her approach... but she wouldn't know, Cause it was pitch dark... Ugh
She smiled at her! Not wanting to come across rude! She probably had done so already though... ''Not really, I was kinda awake before hand... I can't......,'' she stopped and lowered her voice down to whisper ''I can't sleep knowing there is a rat in the room,'' she wanted it gone, forbidden, killed! Somthing... Or then she'd leave Juni to eat him... Yeah... She blushed her Slytherin side showing itself in her own mind, almost forgetting there was a girl there in front of her, she looked back at her.. or what she could see of her anyways!
Nothing... O________o what's that to cry about.. odd ''Hm? Why is there, emm somthing happening to your friends?,'' LuLu was a nosey parker, she even admitted it but still it was a question that needed to be answered what if these friends of hers, W-were in danger or somthing?
''Umm.. yeah,'' she went red in embarressment she could barely see anything in the room as it was, so making out a person was obviously going to be much, much harder
Having a shower before bedtime was very convenient. What with the hot water making you drowsy and all. Louisa walked into her dorm and changed into her PJs, she wrapped a towel around her dripping hair. She didn't dare use any drying charm on her long black lovely hair. Nope, she'd do with muggle ways of drying their hair out.
Checking up on Viola, who was sleeping peacefully in her basket, Louisa went out of her dorm and headed toward Ellie's. She'd promised to come and talk to her when she was out of detention. Ellie seemed very depressed when they talked about it, Dallin was rather happier than her. That only meant more drama for the couple.
Shaking her head at the whole dilemma, the fifteen years old tiptoed into Ellie's dorm which was very well known to her since she'd been here before in a VERY different occasion and for a VERY different reason. Heh. It was ironic now to think about it, actually.
Hogwarts RPG Name: Rachel Elizabeth Annabeth Chase
Third Year
Rachel sighed and sat down on her bed. It had been a long day and she was tired. She missed seeing her friends, it was all because of the summer ages ago, if she hadn't have got lost and then not being able to see them over the holidays then she would still be friends with tham, now she had hardly and friends, she felt left out of everything and more than that, she missed Luna and Presley. They had shared so many secrets and now she felt that she had betrayed their trust by not talking to them. It was all her fault, in their first year, they had been inseperable, now, Lu and Pres were with each other all of the time and Rachel was... She didn't know where she had been for most of the time, other than lessons, she was in the dorm, reading or doing homework, that was it. They had been so nice to her and she just left them. Shaking her head, she lay down on her bed and wrote her thoughts for the day in her diary, especially about Luna and Presley.

Sweatpants. Baggy sweater. Tissues. Teddy bear... Something was definitely wrong.
Sniffling, Ellie sat in her bed. She was in her comfy pajamas, under her blankets, holding onto her teddy bear for dear life. Which was intense, because Ellie never took that thing out of her trunk. She just brought it to school for emergencies, but tonight... Tonight was an emergency.
Love is confusing. And just when Ellie thought she finally had it down, it blew up in her face. So, she kind of just gave up. Not because it was too hard, but because she didn't want to be the source of anymore pain for Dallin. Who was an idiot. But she still loved him. And that goes back to the first statement: Love is confusing.
Finally, Louisa showed up. Ellie wiped a stupid tear from her cheek and waved her over to her bed so she could sit. And it was weird because usually Ellie didn't want to talk to Louisa that much, but now she felt like she was the only one she could talk to. Thanks for coming," Ellie mumbled. Sigh. Here we go.

Well. Wasn't this the most heartbreaking scene of the year or what. Louisa gave a sympathetic smile as she walked over to the bed and climbed it quietly. "Sure." Ellie didn't have to thank her. Even if they never really talked about something deep or private, it didn't mean Louisa wasn't open to the older girl. Although the teddy bear threw this 'older' part out the window.
ANYWAYS.
The fifteen years old shifted in her place to scoot closer to Ellie, who was sitting across from Louisa now. "Are you still crying, Ellie? It's been a while." A week? Maybe a bit more? "I don't understand why you break up with him and then you're the one to stay in bed sick and crying your eyes out." They were no eyes anymore.. more like slits in the face.

Well. Ellie was hoping for a little more sympathy. But then again, who was she kidding? It was Louisa Carter. Not that she was mean... She just wasn't one to go to if you were looking for sympathy, apparently. At least, that was Ellie's observation.
Sniffling again, Ellie pulled her knees up to her chest and rested her chin on them. Yeah, maybe she was a little pathetic for crying... "But it's been a whole month. And I'm not crying my eyes out, thank you very much," Ellie said grumpily. She had good reason for this too.
Ellie sighed. "You don't understand, Louisa... There's a lot you don't know." Which was kind of why Ellie wanted the fifth year with her. She wanted to tell her and actually be able to talk to someone about this. Ellie wanted someone else to know because she obviously couldn't talk about it to Dallin.

Trying so hard not to roll her eyes at that, Louisa mumbled, "Sorry." But Ellie was indeed crying her eyes out. What with the tissues, teddy bear and this sticky pout on her face. Anyways, Louisa promised to be here for her. No need to be so... Ravenclaw-ish-ly insensitive. The girl put a hand on Ellie's arm, "What's up? Why is your wound so raw?" Did that sound insensitive? Oh well. It was out anyways.
"You don't have to tell me anything you don't want to. I can understand that the reason behind your break-up seems really important to you two, even if everyone else has already told you how foolish and immature you two are being. I think you might be right about it." No. Not at all. She was just saying this to cease Ellie's tears.

Hopefully.
Ellie eyed Louisa's hand that was on her arm. And she also sounded like she was swimming in a pool of sarcasm. Why was her wound so raw? That was a very Louisa thing to ask. But Ellie just ignored it.
Appaaaarently, Ellie wasn't much sympathy from this girl tonight. She rolled her eyes a little. "Look, I know this is just your personality and you can't help but be slightly condescending all the time... but can you please try for a little more sympathy?" Ellie was heartbroken after all. She deserved a little bit of pity. Maybe.
But, woahwoahwoah. Huh? "I think you might be right about it." Ellie's head popped up and she eyed Louisa. "I don't believe that for a second," she told her. Louisa never agreed with any of Ellie's logic.

What? Why was Ellie eying Louisa's hand? Yeah her fingernails were ragged and all but she definitely wasn't getting a manicure any time soon soo...
Oh. Condescending? Louisa frowned a bit. "I'm sorry. I really don't want to lie to you, Ellie. I am very sad about the whole situation and you both know what my opinion is on the matter." Louisa had taken her hand away from Ellie's arm by then. "I'm very flattered that you'd wanted to talk to me, of all people." A genuine smile was drawn on the girl's face and her cheeks flushed of gratitude. "It means a lot."
So. Sympathy? Let's try this one more time. "So tell me Ellie. What's happened?" Funny Vashti was not around to annoy Louisa to go to bed now. Heh. The head girl probably had more important matters to her. Well, at least she wouldn't have time to make Louisa feel guilty about her detention and all.

Louisa was frowning now and it kind of made Ellie feel bad. But she listened as the girl spoke and nodded a little. Yeah, Ellie knew her opinion. She thought they were both stupid and perfect for each other and that breaking up was the worst thing to do. That's what everyone else had said too.
But then Louisa was smiling a real smile. Ellie smiled back. "I'm just glad I can trust you. So thanks." N'aww, tender moment with Louisa and Ellie. First time ever. But it was nice.
Well. Now was time to spill. Ellie took a deep breath and sighed heavily. Louisa was about to get the whooooole deal. Starting with the end of Ellie's fourth year. "I had a boyfriend before Dallin," she began. And she wouldn't go into detail because... the break up was horrible, to say the least. "And when we broke up, I was crushed. And I was kind of moping around for a while afterwards... KindoflikeIamrightnow..." Huh. That sounded familiar.
"Anyway, my best friend at the time told me that I just needed to move on. I needed to find a cute guy to flirt with and completely get over him. Because obviously, he wasn't coming back." Ellie sighed again. That was a silly idea. "So, I did. And I found Dallin. And we flirted... A lot. And then we kissed, after only meeting like, twenty minutes before."
Ellie groaned quietly and buried her face in her hands. When she lifted her head back up, she looked at Louisa pathetically. "I used Dallin as my rebound. And I knew it at the time, but as time went on I just... didn't think about it much anymore. I mean, it was still in the back of my mind, but... I dunno." Ellie shrugged. She really didn't know that it would come up two years later.
Ugh. "Anyway, I somehow stupidly managed to get it into a conversation with Dallin last month and we were kind of yelling at each other and I told him he was my rebound... I didn't mean to, but... I did. And he left. Well, he kind of ran away actually." Ellie stared at her bed covers and fidgeted with her teddy bear. She was frowning. "We avoided each other for several days until he finally came and talked to me. That's when I broke up with him. Because when he ran away, I knew I hurt him really bad and I didn't want to do that anymore. I hated seeing him like that and I felt absolutely horrible. So I left him."
Ellie looked back up at Louisa sadly and hoped that Louisa didn't think she was pathetic. Or just a horrible person in general. Oh, there was more. "And then these past few days, I thought we were making progress. Because we miss each other like hell, obviously. So we've been talking a lot and I kind of thought that everything was going to be okay. And then..." This is where the recent news came in. The part that made Ellie cry. But she wasn't really crying anymore, she was just really upset and mad. And sort of outraged? Yeah. "I saw him today on the stairs. He was talking to Vashti. We were waiting for the stairs to move back to the other hallway and he saw me. And as soon as he did, he kissed Vashti. Right in front of me. And I knew he did it just to make me feel bad. Because I had kind of done the same thing with him. I kissed him after Alex broke up with me."
And that was that. The whole story. Ellie sighed and rubbed her face in her hands. It kind of felt good to get it off her chest, though.
LuLu dragged herself into the girls dorm with her PJ's on she lay back on her bed lazily and studied the room, One girl with a teddy bear... Emm and a girl comforting her... YAWN! She turned to the bed beside her and smiled at the girl next to her happily ''Hi!,'' she scanned the girl carefully head to toe...
WAIT?
No!
It couldn't BE!!!
RACHEL?!? O___________________o She hadn't seen her in well.. ages ''Pardon, but ummm... Rachel?,'' she glanced at the light beside her, she never avoided Rache... She was her friend and she told secrets to her very easily, so she'd.. she had to keep that trust for both of their sakes and of course what she had ever told the girl, she grinned at her ''W-where have you been?,''

Aki entered the dormitory, looked for her bed and saw her things and her pets in a bed in the corner.
Perfect! she thought.
She walked towards her bed and arranged her things, she placed her pets Minerva the owl, and Yin the pygmy puff. When all was settled, Aki paused for a while and decided to play her guitar.
She took her dark brown guitar, with her name engraved by her father at its neck. She sat at the corner of her bed and strummed the guitar.
Not tuned.. she said to herself.
Then she started tuning it, and finally, her guitar is in tone. But then she wondered what will she play. After thinking the songs she heard in the muggle world whenever she and her sister visits, it struck her...
The song my sister and I used to sing! That will be awesome..
She started strumming again and this time its tune is very awesome.
"da ra rum da rum....da ru rum da rum..." and then she started humming the tune of Break Away.
"Livin' in a small town, and when the rain would fall down...I would stare out my window..Dreamin' of what could be and if I end up happy, I would pray...I could break away..."

Because I had kind of done the same thing with him. I kissed him after Alex broke up with me."
And that was that. The whole story. Ellie sighed and rubbed her face in her hands. It kind of felt good to get it off her chest, though.
With a small nod, Louisa leaned on one of the bed's posts and kept her knees to her chest as she listened to Ellie. Like.. really long and shocking story. The fifteen years old tried so hard not to keep her jaw dropped at the news of Ellie looking for a rebound guy after breaking up with her former boyfriend. She had a former boyfriend? The image of Ellie in a white dress standing next to a blank faced dude popped in Louisa's head, she had to shake it off though. It was impossible!
They kissed after what? O________o TWENTY MINUTES? The hypocrite. He thought three dang months too short to get a boyfriend. Heh. So much for being a reasonable adviser.
"Aww, Ellie." Louisa murmured sadly. Why did she tell him that?! Honesty wasn't always the right thing to do. It was obvious why he left her then.. Louisa couldn't blame him anymore. Ellie was lucky, in fact, that Dallin only left her. He didn't.. like punched or broke up with her. Louisa would have.
The reason why Ellie broke up with him later, though, did not make sense to the girl furrowing her eyebrows at the news. Maybe it was because Louisa never been in love, or due to her being a 'practical' girl. Or because she was simply dumb at the moment. "You ca-" She started to say assuming that Ellie was finished, but apparently she wasn't. Oh, good, they were making progress. Well, that was a start.
NOT.
If Ellie was sniffling and fidgeting with her toy teddy bear, Louisa gasped. Loudly. Blatantly. Unabashed by the girls trying to sleep. "HE DID WHAT?" With Vashti? HOLYMERLIN'SPANTS. The jaw dropping wasn't controllable now. The picture of Dallin snogging with Vashti was stuck in Louisa's mind as her eyes stared in horror. What about Anakin? What about Dallin reaching a new level of... jerkness?
After what seemed like a good three minutes, the Ravenclaw started shaking her head in disbelief. "You're way too nice." Because Ellie was defending the whole thing. Again, if it was Louisa, she'd stick their mouths together for good. Scoff. "Or too much in love," she tried to calm down a bit. "What did you do when he did that?" If she didn't at least slap him, Louisa was going to do it for her.
