"I don't think Muggle Studies will be my favorite subject, but something like this might be useful someday, especially with so many of us having muggle relatives." Silvia finished unpacking what she could and closed her trunk. She placed her copy of Hilary Stargazer's Guide to the Galaxy on her bedside table and took a seat on her bed. "I'm up for it if we can figure out the dress situation."

"And the date situation," Melanie joked, laughing loudly. "Or we can go together; one fierce group of girls." She chuckled again before returning to serious-mode. "There will probably be like 17 utensils and we have to learn which ones go to which foods or something," she speculated. "I don't think it will be my favorite subject either, but hey, if there's fancy food, I'm there!"

Autumn smiled "yes, I love blue! one of my favoroute colours! my house really does have me written all over." autumn giggled, she adored hogwarts it was almost like being at home.

"Yea, it's such a calming color," Melanie replied. "So, how about you, Autumn? What do you think of this fancy dinner coming up?"

Autumn so agreed with Melanie " Yeah sounds good, I brought half of my muggle clothes, including like 6 dresses! I can't part with them! and it's lucky I did! Shame I can't wear them all haha, Is Wizard dining much diffrent to muggle?" Autumn was curious.

Melanie wondered if she could have her mother send her one of her fancy dresses. Her mother was a Muggle, however, so she didn't know how she would figure that out. Did Hogwarts have a muggle post address?

"I honestly don't know the difference," Melanie answered. "The way we eat in the Great Hall, everything just appears. Maybe that's how wizard dining works." Melanie was making this up as she went, she really had no idea what wizard dining was like. "Perhaps we'll be learning to wait between courses?"

Autumn thought about it "Maybe, I read the house elves make it and it gets sent up, but I'm not entirely sure though, so do you have any idea on what dress your going to wear?" Autumn was so fashion concious she didnt know if her designer dress would be to other the top and she should go for a less in your face one.

"I...I don't really know," Melanie said, biting her lip as she thought. "I have a few fancy dresses, but only one that I think fits the 'semi-formal' attire of the dinner." Melanie stretched out on her bed, propping herself up with her elbow.

"It's the one I wore to my mom's wedding. I was the maid of honor, not that it really mattered 'cause I was the only bridesmaid anyway, but I got to pick any dress I wanted." She sat up again and swung her legs over the side of the bed. "It's blue with a little sparkly sash, strapless with a sweetheart neckline," she described, tracing the neckline on her body, "and it hits about here." She lied her hand across her thigh, a few inches above her knee, to show how long the dress was.

Violet dragged her body up to the girl's dormitory tired from the day's classes. "Hey Morgan." she said as she walked past some of the girls and stumbled to her bed. She smiled slightly at them because her mind was crashing into sleep.

Autumn smiled "Sounds beautiful, hang on" Autumn opened her trunk that was already fit to burst and Pulled out her most exensive dress." Heres mine but I'm not sure if its to OTT" It was Pink, with a sweetheart neckline as well, but hers had a diamond wear it went in, and sarkles all over the top half, then there was a sash of dark pink and it flowed out coming about 7cm above the knee... Autumn didnt want to look to oextravagent "I have others but this is my fav!"

She held Juni in her arms the other girlies seemed to have found there way to fit in so she'd only need to welcome one of them a welcome was always nice to the one who has recieved and to the one that had shared

Aghhhh new smell Juni jumped out of the nice girls arms and ran to the other girls feet she smelt of somthing nice... A new smell a nice smell he purred at her legs! Then looked back at the nice girl she smelt nice too... did she have TREATS AGAIN???!?!??! weee

''Oh sorry he's not used to the new first years atleast he likes you,'' she nodded she would have much prefered that then being in trouble for a murderus cat that scratched her or somthing although she was the jealous type when it came to Juni she picked him up and rubbed him ''Hi i'm LuLu,''

Pres woke up dying for an intellectual conversation. Something that she couldn't learn from a book and spout off. Something like....why do you think wizards still notice social classes based of of blood? She showered and got ready for her day. Glancing around at all of the other girls in the dorm she smiled brightly. "Good Morning!" Really really hoping somebody would ask her some sort of important question.

What a day!, Gwen thought walking as quick as possible towards the girl's dormitory. And she still had to figure out a way to show Ariadne the pictures without making her freak out. Oh my! That's going to be hard, the third year told herself while entering the dormitory. After giving a general 'Hi', the ravie scanned the place, hoping to see some familiar faces around. 'Oh, hello Presley', she smirked to the girl. 'I haven't seen you in a long time'

She also saw Luna, but she was already talking to someone, so Gwen didn't want to interrupt. Moving closer to her bed, the girl took the box of Bertie Bott's that lay on top of her trunk and took one. Hmm... something lemonish. 'Anyone want a Bertie Bott?', she asked.

Kendra walked into the domitory and headed towards her bed where the rat was still sleeping after she had left him this morning. She scooped up the dozing animal into her hands and began to stroke his ears gently, sitting cross legged on her bed. A girl offered around a box of bertie botts. 'I'll have one for the rat, if that's ok.' She asked with a smile. The rat seemed to reject everything else apart from jelly beans, which couldn't of been good for it. But, despite Kendra's talent for getting on with animals, she just couldn't coax the small rodent to eat anything else.

"Wow," Melanie said, her eyes wide and her mouth hanging open, "that's...PINK!" She really didn't know what else to say. "And...sparkly." Apparently she did have more to say. 'That can't be real,' she thought, gazing at the large, clear gem along the neckline of the dress.

"It certainly is...something!" It was very pink and very sparkly and VERY not Melanie's style, but considering Autumn's personality, fair skin and blonde hair, it certainly suited her. Melanie smiled at this thought and added kindly, "It will look beautiful on you."

"thanks" Autumn smiled at least someone liked it, she saw Melanie gazing at the diamond "It's not real! I'm not that rich yet, though i do have some diamond earing that go with it!" Autumn giggled. "I'm sure wichever dress you pick will look beautiful, and if worse comes to worse you can borrow one of mine!"

Melanie smiled. Autumn was certainly nice. "Thanks, I might need to take you up on that. My mom's a Muggle," Melanie explained, "so I don't know if she'll be able to get a package to me. I doubt Hogwarts has a mailbox!" She laughed at the thought.

"unfortuantly I don't believe they do... before I left i trained my parents how to recieve and send a letter by owl" autumn chuckled at the memory Autumn thought she had 7 dresses 3 of which she thought would suit Meanie.

"Maybe I can send my mother an owl explaining how to send an owl," Melanie said with a laugh. "Let's hope she doesn't shoo away the owl I try and send her though! The dinner's not for another week or so, so I have a bit of time to try and get her to send me my dress."

"Hey Gwen, how are you?" She asked, keeping with pleasantries. She knew Gwen was really smart. But she didn't know if the other girl was really into deep philisophical questions. "I've been busy," she shrugged in response to Gwen's comment of not seeing Presley around.

Oh my! A rat!, Gwen thought while looking at the animal. Hopefully her cat wasn't around. 'Err... sure', she smirked to the other girl and offered her some jellybeans. 'Won't it choke?', she then asked, looking a bit puzzled at the rat. Whatever... it wasn't her pet.

'I don't believe we met before', the third year went on talking. 'I'm Gwen, by the way. Gwen Greene', she said and extended her hand.

'I'm good, thanks for asking. A bit tired, though...', Gwen turned back to Presley. 'I've actually continued exploring the castle today. Lots of things changed around', she said, and, after a short pause, she added: 'There's the topiary garden... have you seen it?'

Well... it seemed like evryone was busy. 'I see', the third year said simply. Looking at Presley, Gwen wasn't sure what was wrong. Deep thinking, huh? 'Are you all right?', she asked.

Kendra selected a yellow jelly bean, not knowing what flavour it was in the slightest. The rat seemed to always think it was cheese though, even if it smelt distinctivly of ear wax. 'Oh, no' Kendra replied, smiling. 'Rats just sorta keep it all in their cheeks and mush it down with their teeth. At least this one does.' She laughed slightly. 'Kendra Holmes.' Kendra replied, reaching the hand without the rat in and shaking the girls hand. 'Nice to meet you.'

Violet jumped up in surprise. "AHHH!" she screamed. "What is that thing?" And attempted to keep calm down after it scratched her. After the girl picked it up, she introduced herself. After calming down from that ordeal, Violet smiled meekly at her, "Hi Lulu, I'm Violet." She blushed slightly. "Sorry, I'm not very used to cats very much, especially when the jump at me in surprise." Also a little bit a-a-allergic to them. AAAH CHOO!" Violet sneezed.

Tired already. "It's only the first week. You can't be telling me it's already feeling long?" Because Presley knew, just like any other kid, that sometimes weeks were just the longest unit of measurement, and it got difficult to wake up in the mornings, but usually not until about mid-October.

Presley nodded. Lots of things had changed lately. She felt as though she'd returned to a Hogwarts that had gone through a grounds-makeover. Everything about the castle seemed the same to her, but the lawn had some new additions, and the tree-house was missing. Which was sad, since it had been something Presley really liked. "Yeah, I did see it actually. I haven't had time to explore it yet, but I noticed it on my jog yesterday. I was thinking about going down there this afternoon and checking out all of the renovations."

Was she all right? Of course! "Yeah, I'm great," Presley assured Gwen. "I just kinda...I don't know. I feel like I need a really hard question or a riddle or something to answer. I almost want to walk in and out of the common room a ton of times so that I'll have to think about riddles and answers, but the knocker usually doesn't debate your answer with you, ya know?" It just told you whether your logic was sound or not.

She rolled her eyes at the firstie even if she was allergic did she truely believe she was actully gonna get rid of her cat for her no "Emm hi Violet," she picked up Juni "Well I'm afraid you'll be sharing a room with one or I suppose I could leave him somwhere else..." She was afraid of a cat but she didn't notice a rat what was wrong with this girl, she handed her a box of tissues lazily and sarcastically

''Anways..,'' she sat down on her bed again looking at the first year properly head to toe she looked normal, maybe that would rub off on her 'cause she had a real rough and crazy week ''Nice to meet you Violet,'' she smiled or atleast a kind of a smile. She was nervous and queer girl you'd know by the look of her but the nervous and awkward bit was a firstie thing she was sure about that, she smiled at the girl
