Ella listened to Cardigan as she gave her the message for Logan. Her eyes grew wide as the girl continued to talk, realizing how mistaken she was. She grabbed Cardigan by the shoulders gently, wanting to tell her what she knew, wanting to offer her some kind of relief. "Cardigan, listen to me okay? I'll tell Logan all of that but you need to know, he doesn't hate you. He was really upset after your fight and I found him and he looked so depressed. I'm pretty sure that he feels like he let you down, that you hate him now. He definitely doesn't hate you though." She said, letting her hands drop to her sides. "I think he kind of assumed you knew about us, I did too actually. I'm just sorry I didn't tell you. He feels the same. I want to apologize to you. I know it probably doesn't mean much but I'm sorry and I don't want you to hate me because we were, well we were friends right? Even if it wasn't the way you and Logan were friends." She looked at the girl, pleading with her eyes for Cardigan to forgive her. "Just-if you want to be mad, be mad at me but not Logan. He wants to be friends with you again, I know it. I know he's sorry and I'd go find him if I were you. He wants to apologize anyway..." Ella let out a small sigh, out of breath from her little speech. She looked at Cardigan, waiting for her response.

Cardigan listened quietly as Ella gave her little,erm,big talk.He didn't hate her??Well,it sure didn't seem that way!When you don't like someone or don't wanna be associated with 'em,you avoid them.Guess what Logan was doing?Avoiding her.As much as she wanted to believe what Ella said,somewhere in her,it just didn't seem true."D-don't worry Ella.You'll always be my friend.Real friends always stick,"She said,in response to all that Ella said."When should I,go tell him and all?I'm not sure if now's the right time."

Ella was waiting for Cardigan to yell or walk away or hex her...something. She definitely didn't anticipate what she said next. "We-We will? You mean you don't hate me?" Ella felt like the weight of an elephant had been lifted off her. She wanted to jump into the air or something but she knew it wasn't the time. "I don't really know if there is a right time. I'd just go and get it over with. I know he's nervous about apologizing but only because he thinks he knows he made you sad and he's afraid you won't forgive him..." She said, looking down. "I think you'll both feel better once you talk."

"O-Okay Ella.I'll do that,"Cardigan said softly,yearning and pleading,in her head,for it all to be true.If that's how Logan thought,he certainly didn't ever have real friends before her.Well,she didn't either,but she still knew how the whole deal worked and stuff.No offense,though."I-I,think I'll go now.Thank you Ella,"She said with a smile as she huggled her friend and slowly walked out of the Girl's bathroom.Here it goes...

Ella returned Cardigan's smile. "You're welcome." She felt a surge of happiness when the girl hugged her, relieved that they could move forward from this still friends. "You guys will be fine." She offered as a last source of comfort before watching Cardigan exit the bathroom. She just hoped Logan would find the right words to say. She wasn't too worried though, he usually did.

Nerida held her green-erm chocolate covered pygmy puff to the bathroom...You would think a pygmy puff would have manners especially a lady pygmy puff, but I guess Squeaky decided she wasnt going to use those things...Squeaky had bits and pieces of cake in her fur, it was a mess. I started running some mild hot water into one of the sinks, feeling it I made sure it wasnt to hot nor to cold. I placed Squeaky in the sink and picked up the soap ready to start cleaning her. The soap slipped out of my hands and I bent down to pick it up, when I stood up, there was no Squeaky, just soapy water... I grimmanced and started to search the bathroom...Its not something I did every day, so it should be fun... I looked in all the stalls, no luck. I looked in all the other sinks. Sighing I walked back over to my sink, where I saw a green puff ball swimming in the water. I didnt know Pygmy Puffs could swim.. I whispered. I picked her up and said You know Sapphira you gave me quite a scare, I thought I lost you. I finished getting all of the chocolate out of her fur and then I took a towel and dryed her completely.

Laura was upset after having a fight with Lana and so she had been crying and after that she decided that she was going to clean her face and so she had come into the girls bathroom to make sure that her eyes didn't look so bad she didn't want anyone to know she had been crying and she didn't want Lana to make fun of her for crying over a silly argument.

Sophie came into the bathroom with her hands full of dirt. She had just been placing her Transfiguration vases around the castle and had more moments of flower-rearrangement over the task.

She recognized Laura and smiled while getting to a sink. "Hey there, Laura!" Only after she was done washing her hands was that Sophie noticed Laura didn't seem well. "Are you okay?" She asked her friend while shaking her hands to dry them off.

Laura looked at Sophie and smiled, she had missed Sophie a bit, she hadn't seen her since the last time she was in trouble and she was sure that the Sophie was upset with her about it. "I'm fine." Laura smiled. "I've just had a bad day that's all." Laura wasn't sure what to say or do.

Sophie was still shaking her hands and looked curisously at Laura. She wasn't getting into trouble and hurting herself again, was she? "You're not hurt or anything, are you?" The girl's eyes were puffy and a little red. "Were you crying?" Whyyyy had she been crying?? Hogwarts' SO awesome! No one should be crying at Hogwarts!

Laura looked at Sophie and sighed. "I'm not hurt no." Seriously what was with all the questions, she decided that she might as well tell the truth to Sophie though. "Yeah I was crying, I've just gone into a fight with my twin sister and now I think she hates me." Laura sighed.

What? "She doesn't hate you! She's your sister! Sisters never hate each other!" It just didn't make sense to Sophie. Family loves you no matter what you do. Right? "Tomorrow you both will be as if nothing had happened, you'll see!"

Laura looked at Sophie and sighed. "I doubt it, I'm sure she hates me, she wants to read every book in the Library before we leave Hogwarts and I told her it would be impossible but well she didn't agree with me and we sort of got into an argument." Laura hoped Lana would forgive her soon but well they would see.

Sophie blinked. "That sure is impossible!" But then again, Laura's sister was in Ravenclaw, right? Maybe not that impossible then... or not. Anyway. "You'll be fine, trust me!"

She had thought she'd gotten all the mashed potatoes out of her pygmy puff's fur, but as she'd woken up, Stella had noticed some specks still clinging. That meant she was goin g to have to try and give Nuage a bath, and something told her that wasn't going to be the easiest things to do. Not only because said pygmy puff in question seemed content to just try and lick the dried food off her fur, but bec ause Stella had the oddest feeling a bath would go over about as well as trying to give Lyra a bath. She was going to have to try, though. She wasn't about to bring the puff back to the next CoMC lesson with food stuck to her, after all, so bath it must be. At least she could try and make it fun, with the pet shampoo she'd hardly ever used for her cat in tow, along with a small brush for later.

Stepping into the bathroom, puff humming contentedly on her shoulder, she headed for a sink and turned the tap on the slightest bit. "Okay Nuage. Time to get clean," she said, setting the supplies down long enough to try and pick the creature up off her shoulder. It all seemed to go fine, until Nuage heard the water and tried to shimmy up her arm again. Sighing, she shifted to grasp it gently again and set her in the shallow pool of water that had gathered in the bottom of the sink. Keeping a hand ready, she reached over to get the shampoo, then squeezed a tiny bit into her other hand, which was cupped. Wetting the shampoo, she tilted to rub it into Nuage's fur along with using the extra water to wet it, then massaged a bit until she could feel a faint humming start again. That was better.

She wasn't looking forward to rinsing, but at least right now things were alright. And she used her hand to scoop up water once it was time to rinse the bubbles away, stroking the fur until every last bit of shampoo was washed out, along with the icky little bits of food. Once that was finished, she picked Nuage up again, got a towel and wrapped the wet furball up. Rubbing the towel around, she checked every once in a while until it looked like her puff was dry. Maybe a bit damp, but not dripping anymore, so she switched to using the brush to fluff the fuzz and finish drying the pygmy puff. That had gone a lot easier than expected, really, but she was still keeping her pygmy puff from rolling onto her plate again.

Before Laura could answer, Sophie gave her a reassuring smile and looked at the Pygmy Puff on her shoulder. "I've just washed my hands, Lavender, now it's your turn!" She put the creature in the sink and slowly turned it on again. Lavender looked up at Sophie as if she was begging not to be cleaned up. "Haha, don't look at me like that, Lavender! It's good to feel clean, you know!" She watched as water fell on Lavender and it got smaller and smaller while its fur got all wet. Sophie giggled and looked back at Laura. "Isn't it sweet?"

Sophie didn't bring her shampoo or anything with her, so she would have to use just the soap. "I hope you get all fluffy with this!" First she put soap on her hands and rubbed them together to make bubbles. Then she started washing Lavender as carefully as she could, trying to not leave any dirt on her. The Pygmy Puff looked funny all wet, but it was looking adorable now that it had soap all over. "How cute are you, Lavender! Bubbles look really good on you!" Sophie didn't know it, but she was lucky that Lavender was a quiet Pygmy Puff, otherwise it would be squeaking extremely loud now, as it was most definitely not enjoying the bath. "Look, Laura, how cute she looks!" Heh!

Sophie turned the Pygmy Puff around to see if she had left any dirty spot on its fur. "I think I got it all." She said, placing Lavender under the falling water once again. "Lalalalalala! You'll look lovely when I'm done, Lavender!"

After the soap was gone, Sophie held Lavender up. "I wish I knew a spell to dry you off, Lavender, but unfortunately I don't..." She pulled out a small towel out of her bag and put it over the Pygmy Puff. She felt Lavender moving around under the towel and giggled while drying her. "You sure don't like showers, do you, Lavender?"

Tadah! Lavender was almost 100% dry, but its fur was now all messed up. Sophie laughed softly. She put the towel owl and pulled out a little brush from her bag. "Almost done!" She gently brushed all of Lavender's fur. "You're so fluffy now, Lavender!! You look even cuter and more adorable than before!" She said happily. The Pygmy Puff moved its little nose as if it was sinffing something. "Didn't I tell you it felt good?"

Presley smiled awkwardly, not really sure what to say. She nodded when Kurumi told her to be careful of the floor. "Thanks for the heads-up." She smiled again, stepped past the puddle on the floor and slipped out of the bathroom feeling incredibly confused, and a lot like a freak. It was strange to her, how someone could make her feel so intimidated. Presley had been raised in a society where she was snappy and to the point, no matter the age of the person she was talking down to. But it was different at Hogwarts. Nobody here cared that her family was rich and famous. To them, she was an awkward little thirteen year old, and she definitely felt that way right now, not sure how to react to Kurumi.

*blink blink*

Wait...what had just happened? Had the Gryffindor said something wrong? She hadn't meant that the girl wasn't allowed to be in the bathroom because Kurumi was bathing her pygmy puff. In fact, she was done doing that and almost done cleaning up, so there really was no reason for her to leave.

Setting Momotaro II on her shoulder, his favorite place because he could see everything, Kurumi did some last minute cleaning up and then headed towards the door feeling unsure if she should try and catch up with Presley or not.

Ella paced back and forth in the girls' room, waiting for Laura to show up. She wanted to talk to her friend but was nervous how she would react. She took a deep breath, deciding it would be fine.

Laura had heard that Ella was looking for her, but why would she want to talk in the girls bathroom, seriously they could have talked in the dorm or anywhere else, and was Sophie and Carigan involved in this or was it just Ella.

Laura didn't have long to wait, as she walked into the bathroom, she saw that Ella was the only one there, so obviously Carigan and Sophie had no idea about this. "Sorry if I'm late." Laura smiled at Ella, "I got a bit held out."

There she was, standing right in front of Ella, and Ella had no words. Why hadn't she written down what she wanted to say? That would have been better. Easier. Instead, she decided to start with something simple. A greeting. "Hey Laura, it's fine." She said, smiling at her friend.

Ella walked over and leaned her back against one of the sinks, looking at Laura nervously. "So I was just-well I thought we could talk about-" There she went again, not knowing what to say. "I want to know why you keep doing things to lose points for Hufflepuff." She finally blurted out, covering her mouth with her hand when she had finished. Eyes wide, she looked at Laura, hoping she wouldn't be furious.

Laura looked at Ella puzzled, didn't she want to be friends with her anymore and this was a way of telling her that without hurting her feeling, or had the Gryffindor boy told her to have nothing to do with her because she was trouble.

Laura sighed and she leaned against the wall with her hands over her chest, "I gain points and I lose points, I've actually gained about 80" okay so it could have been much higher if she hadn't lost all the points but well she never lost what she didn't have.

Laura looked at Ella trying not to cry. "If you don't want to be my friend, just tell me Ella." Laura sighed, it wouldn't be the first person who had decided she wasn't suitable to be friends with, and well she didn't have a sister that was good enough for Ravenclaw and very smart and was hardly in trouble and what was she nothing, if she didn't play up when people actually recognise her, no she would just be another student.

Laura was confused, that much was evident by her facial expression. What worried Ella more though was the fact that she also seemed hurt. No, that's not what Ella had wanted. "Laura I didn't mean it like that." She said, taking a step towards her friend. "We all make mistakes and I know you've worked just as hard as everyone to help out the house." She added, giving her friend a smile. "I just-I think sometimes maybe you act on impulse and forget to think about the consequences." She said, frowning suddenly. "And maybe if you have trouble deciding if you should or shouldn't do something, maybe you could ask me...or Soph or Cardigan?" Then, she looked up at Laura and tried to show how sincere she was being. "And of course I want to be your friend. You're fun and nice and smart. We'll always be friends." She said reassuringly, reaching out to give Laura a hug.

Laura moved away from Ella, she didn't want a hug from someone who made her this upset. "You don't understand at all do you?" Laura sighed, she was really upset now, she sat down on the floor, she didn't care about it being cold or anything but she was crying now. "You don't have a twin sister that is clever and is smart and in Ravenclaw." Laura sighed, seriously how come she was so upset about being parted from her Sister. "We were always together until we came here but now.." Laura thought a minute before she suddenly stopped speaking for a few seconds before continuing. "It's okay for you, Sophie and Carigan." Laura sighed. "Your all smart and brainy."

No hug? Ella felt quite sad about this, she hadn't expected the talk to get this serious. Sitting down next to Laura on the floor, she pulled her knees to her chest and rested her chin there. "Explain it to me then." The first year said softly, her attention on her friend.

Laura was right, Ella only had a brother and couldn't imagine what it would be like to be torn apart from one's twin. She continued to listen, not wanting to interrupt. It was the first time she'd seen Laura so upset and it made her heart hurt. When her friend had finished, Ella began to talk quietly, looking into her friend's eyes. "Laura, I don't know what it's like for you. I'm sure it's hard, not being with your sister but it isn't like you're all alone here." Hufflepuff was actually a pretty wonderful place to find friends. "Plus, maybe you and your sister could find a time during each day to get together, for a meal or something?" That might be nice, then they would see eachother frequently.

The little badger rolled her eyes when Laura went on about her being smart and brainy. "Laura...do you know how much studying I did even before I came to Hogwarts? I was so afraid that being a muggleborn would put me behind that I went nuts learning things...the only reason I'm so 'smart'" She said, making finger quotations around the last word, "is because I was too scared to just come and learn at the same pace as everybody else."
