Anya popped back up with a smirk on her face. Whoever said that learning to properly fall out of trees was a useless skill was totally eating their words. She held the snitch over her head and pointed excitedly at it.

You see it Alec? This is what happens when you aren't so distracting.

She took a minute to drink in all the cheers. No wonder her brother decided this was the perfect job.

When she lowered her hand she looked around. She should go be a good sport and make sure nobody got hurt or anything. Especially Mr. Slytherin Seeker.

Actually... she might wait until Gideon and August were down before talking to them.

They looked scary. And little Anya had heard the stories about how Slytherin took a quidditch loss.

Phew.

August watched the Quaffle sail away from his his goal posts after he smacked Amelia's attempt at a shot away. He had been pretty good if he said so himself today's match. Not bad for first time playing Keeper anyways.

As he watched the Quaffle head the other direction a glint of gold was seen out of the corner of his eye. The snitch!!

"GO ANYA!"

He watched her dive, summersault off of her broom, and then come up with it in hand.

"YES! YES!!" August pumped his fists into the air and nearly fell from his broom. The fourth year then zoomed towards where she landed and grabbed Anya in a tight hug. "You did it Anya!"

Bouncing on the ground his broomstick a few feet away, Isaac clenched the grass in his hands that were by his sides as he sat there. He'd totally failed his team this time, not even caught the snitch once. He couldn't do seeker again, he was just too big! Maybe beater or keeper but not seeker. He couldn't even look at his team's faces.

His eyes downcast he picked up his broom and turned heading directly for the locker room, his pace turning to a run after a few yards.

The game was sure intense and Gideon had been playing as best he could dealing with the quaffle with Zack. So far so good and Anya was fighting real hard for the snitch against the older Slytherin. The teams seemed closely matched but as time went on and the ellusive golden orb was closer and closer to getting caught. He had been thrown for a loop when Selina had crashed back into him after being hit by a bludger but after checking they were both alright, they set off for each of their respective tasks.

When his last shot was blocked by the Slytherin chaser, Gideon's attention was torn between the quaffle tossed back into play and the two seekers. That was until it was clear the chase was on and he slowed his rush to watch. he couldn't help wincing as Anya nearly crashed in her dive, letting out a breath as his eyes widdened at the announcement of the win.

WOOHOO!!! They had won!

After a few moments of excited movements, he took his own broom into a dive, heading down from his spot high in the sky. Gideon slowed as the pitch neared and pulled up before jumping off once he was close enough to the ground before heading towards his teammates.

"WE DID IT! Great Job Anya!"

Quaffle's coming.. coming.. *SMACK* Yes! another save. Catching it quickly, Kimalia lately had to stop herself from moving from her position every time she caught the Quaffle. She just had that urge to make her way to score like the last two terms. Anyway, enough nostalgia time. Back to the game.

Her eyes were on her teammates, first on Asher. "Asher! Go long." Throwing with her might at him for him to catch before nodding at the rest, yes, she wanted them to protect their youngest. But her eyes left them to watch the chasing Seekers. It was safe though, since they weren't anywhere near her and no Quaffle was heading her way.

A frown appeared at the aftermath. No, definitely not at Isaac, but at the luck of it all. Her first term as a Captain with their team expecting to dominate once again and here they already lost both matches and were no longer in the running for the Quidditch cup. The best they could do now was third, and that stinked.

She was after all looking forward to going against her older brother's house team again. But now once again relived that name, Karma Kimalia, and reluctantly slowly flew down to join her teammates and of course shake the Gryffindor Captain's hand. Where ever she was.. As if losing would make Kimalia's trademark smile disappear. Nope, they basically just helped Hufflepuff win the Cup.. yeah, that's it. As long as Hufflepuff do win because she was not going to settle with another house winning it. Hehe.

Off her broom she let the broom handle to her side before walking up behind Isaac, "You're alright, mate." Patting his shoulder while looking for her other teammates... But Isaac already was running off. She would follow, but didn't she almost get in trouble last time for not shaking the other team's hand? Well.. Not sure really on what else to do, she stood there leaning on her broom waiting for the others.

Ugh. Sometimes she really, really hated playing Chaser and having to dodge other players. Especially when that stupid Keeper blocked the shot anyway! She wondered if Sierra would mind if she borrowed her beaters bat to throw it at the boy... Knowing Sierra probably not.

Not that it would do them any good. But at least they still had one more match. They could finish in third. She just really hoped they didn't finish in last. If they did Isaac would probably blame himself.

Speaking of...

Amelia carefully maneuvered her way to the ground and looked around for her boyfriend. She wanted to let him know that she thought he'd done well. He hadn't caught the snitch but he'd come close all three times. And even if she was mad about losing the game to Gryffindor she didn't think he deserved to feel that it was his fault.

Her eyes landed on Isaac just as he began to run from the pitch. "Isaac," she yelled as she began to move after him, before stopping herself. He probably wanted to be alone, and what help could she really be? She loved him but she certainly didn't know how to stop him from feeling guilty about this. And if he didn't want to be around people than her best intentions wouldn't make things better anyway.
