Of course she liked his plan. It wasn't something he knew, though, because her mind was quite changeable on some things, but he suspected she'd want some alone time with him, especially after spending too much time in the crowded Prefects Compartment.
So, perhaps she was only glad she was away from it, more than their time together, after all, she was incredibly excited to be headed back home. More so than in previous years.
It was all bittersweet to him, but sweeter since she gave him the card.
When she pulled away, he suddenly remembered the one thing he realized when he was finally free to open the gift back at the Common Room, "Now I know why you didn't wrap it...or why you acted so strange around it." Then WHY get him books, Eliana Stone, if you cannot stand the sight of them. No, wait, not just the sight, because she'd only known a book had been in that package, but still. "Whose idea was it?" The book. It was surely her mother's.
But it was perfect. A perfect gift. Always. Ellie knew what to get him, whilst he found himself in trouble for not knowing what to get her. She was a tricky one. Or since she only liked Quidditch, and hated books, it made it extremely difficult for him. Hence why he really wasn't too fond of getting stuff from her. He didn't know how to return it.
Hey now....
....It had been rather obvious, though, hadn't it? That she was acting strangely around it? But it was hardly her fault.
HOWEVER, she was able to come up with giving him a book on her own. It wasn't too hard. He liked them, after all. "It was mine, believe it or not." And he should believe her, right? "I mean...I didn't know such a thing existed, but I'd intended to get a Shakespeare book for you." That was when her mom took over.
About her behavior towards it... Her fists twitched thinking of it. "I wanted to wrap it myself, honestly...it was just....so big." She couldn't bring herself to get close to it. And even after her mom had wrapped it and put it away in a box for her and she was back at Hogwarts and had the box safely locked away in her trunk, she'd dream about it getting out and attacking her.
Bibliophobia was serious business.
But anything for Treyen, yeah?

Tayla carefully took a sip from her bottle of juice as she continued reading "The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 4" by Miranda Goshawk from where she left off. Charms was her favourite subject and she wanted to make sure she was ready for class.
She lay her book open on her lap and waved her wand once in a while, imitating the pictures and instructions.
There wasn't anyone else in the compartment she was in, and though eagerly reading, also checked the door once in a while out of habit, wondering if any of her friends would find her there.
Fee hoped she would find a compartment at the front of the train. Her lagguage was heavy enough, she didnt want to walk through the whole train with it. Somehow the girl was really glad that this year was over. Owls were so stressfull and she had studied so much for them.Normally the Slytherin would hate to go home and not see all her friends but maybe some break would do her good.
Looking around the blonde was about to sigh frustrated and just sit on her suitcase at the corridor as she found what seemed like an empty compartment.Peeking her head in the 5th year smiled and opened the door fully. Finally.
After she got her suitcase and all her stuff in the blonde plopped down on a seat and put her feed on the ones opposite her.Now that was a comfy position. What to do with the ride now?!Maybe listen to some music until she found some company.Yes.
Adeline looked at him. He seemed like a nice person. Well he was nice to her when they first met so he seems really cool to her because no one was ever nice to her. Not until she went to Hogwarts. "Yeah, it was at the house table like in the beginning of the year." she nodded. "Hi." she smiled. "Yes I am. Soon to be a second year." she grinned happily.
At the beginning of his first year, Messer wasn't really keen to spend time with girls because according to his cousin they're kinda annoying but after he spent a lot of time with Arya, the Hufflepuff female prefect, the young badger thinks that the girls weren't that bad. And Adeline seem a fun person.
And he's right again. Maybe his memories not as bad as he thought. "Yeah me too." He can't wait till the term start again. "How do you like first year?" Was it as fun as his? He hoped so because most of the first year Hufflepuff had an amazing first year.

But anything for Treyen, yeah?
Yes, he believed her. It was rather easy to, unless she was speaking of him. Perhaps now he was beginning to understand why she never believed him. The things he's told her, about her. Yet Treyen knew he was completely right. No mistakes about that.
Then he chuckled. '...Such a thing existed.' The way she said it was amusing. The poor book.
"I believe you," he finally said, with a reassuring smile.
If Treyen had gone along and started to read the books Olivia and Pierre had been talking about when he first met them seven years ago, then chances were he'd have all of Shakespeare's books, tragedies, comedies, and whatnot, already with him. But he didn't, and it was Ellie the one who'd given him such a great gift.
He took her hands, the minute they started to twitch thanks to the thought of having a book so close to them, he suppressed the urge to chuckle, even if he was finding it a bit amusing...but his smile faded the moment he remembered her expression when he'd spoken of going to the library. The horror of it reflected in her eyes. He dropped one of her hands while the other tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "I'm sorry." Mostly for being amused at this whole thing, when he clearly had no idea of how awful it must have been for her. And scary too.
Now, come to think of it. She should've given him the card, and nothing else.

Adeline looked at him. First year? She thought it was crazy and then really sad towards the end. Now how was she to tell him that. She didn't want to talk about Alec in front of him. She knew that they are friends and she didn't want to talk about Alec to begin with.
"I had a great start off to the year but the I caught the flu in January so I was in the Hospital Wing for a long time. I really like it at Hogwarts and I'm sad to be leaving." she shrugged. "So how was your year?"

He was hanging on to her word. Was she not gonna tell him what was funny? Oh well. Zeke let the subject drop as he occupied his attention to what Gwen was holding. He looked at her notebook. What was she drawing? Zeke tried to get a better look of what Gwen was writing, or drawing. "You really want something bad to happen to me, do you?"
But he was distracted as he looked at the cat's eyes. Probably it was Gwen's. The cat was looking directly at him. Whaa? Blink. Ohhhhh. It was nice. Zeke smiled at the cat and began to stroke its fur gently. Good cat, nice cat. Unlike it's owner. Bleh.
When Gwen finally noticed it and called the little fella by his--or her--name, Zeke repeated it in his mind, 'Jinx.' And there he wondered what this girl was thinking when she named the cat. But still by the name, he couldn't determine whether it was a girl or boy. "Erm, nothing much," Zeke said, looking up again at Gwen. "Planning to make a short visit to someone special when I get back home."
She seriously began to hate the drawing she had just started. Landscapes. What could be more boring than this?‘How about a portrait?’, the third year asked all of a sudden, preparing a blank page for that. ‘Hmm?’, she mused, looking back at Zeke. ‘Not necessarily…’ Right. Not necessarily bad. For all Gwen cared, embarrassing would work too.
WHY.DID.HER.CAT.LIKE.ZEKE?
For the first time, Gwen was disappointed of Jinx. But it wasn’t so bad, as the black furball returned to his seat beside her. She gave the cat a small smirk. Good. He came back.
Even though she didn’t really care why he was dressed like that, or who the person was, Gwendolyn couldn’t help giving him a look, as to question what he had just said. Gah. This curiosity.

With the door a bit open, Jinx found the perfect moment to go look for that Pigmy Puff. The black cat jumped from his seat, this making Gwen to look back at him. Hopefully he wasn’t going to go back to Zeke. But no. The black furball casually made his way towards the door, and then started walking along the train corridor.
Gwen let the quill down and put the notebook next to her seat, quickly going to get Jinx back. Perhaps he couldn’t stand Zeke any longer?, the girl asked herself. Heh. This was sort of an explanation. Pushing the door open, the third year quickly noticed Jinx in front of one of the compartments, making his way along the corridor.
Getting close enough to the cat, Gwen took Jinx in her arms and was ready to head back. But someone caught her eye. ‘Tayla!’, the young Ravenclaw said enthusiastically, noticing her friend in the compartment she had just passed by.

Err. Was she talking to herself or was he meant to answer that? He answered anyway. "A portrait would be nice. How 'bout a portrait of me? Let's test your drawing skills." Zeke grinned as he awaited her reaction for that. Yeah, his face would be good to be made a portrait. Gwen could hang have it framed and hang it in her room. Haha.
Zeke let his hand fall back to the seat as the cat went back to his owner. He let his eyebrows knit together, puzzled. Why was she looking at him like that? "What?" Something on his face? He pulled out his handkerchief and wiped his whole face. Just in case.
But Jinx left. Too bad, he thought the cat was going back for him. Instead, it wandered away out the compartment. Aww. This meant Gwen would probably find a chance to have an excuse to leave. Hm. He watched as Gwen left just as he placed his handkerchief back in his pocket. Gee, would excusing herself out hurt her? How about a little politeness, missy? Run after her or stay? Stay is a good idea. All her stuff was here anyway. She'd come back.
Or not. Maybe she'll come back when the train's already there. She'd probably find another compartment with her friends and stay there. Oh well. Zeke looked out the window as the view preoccupied his mind. Not really. It just gave him something to stare at as he remembered Janine. Jane. 'Just wait, Jane. I'll be there soon.' He thought sadly as he grasped the handkerchief in his pocket which she gave him before. "Soon," Zeke whispered softy yet half-conscious.
Yes, he believed her. It was rather easy to, unless she was speaking of him. Perhaps now he was beginning to understand why she never believed him. The things he's told her, about her. Yet Treyen knew he was completely right. No mistakes about that.

So maybe it wasn't as common a thing to not know they actually made a book of all of Shakespeare's work. Or even that he wrote so much. Because Ellie had no idea. Her gaze went off of Treyen, to the door behind him, out of...embarrassment.
But at least he accepted it was her idea. That certainly made her feel better.
Her hands relaxed in his grasp, but she took up biting her lip instead. Though, it was more because she was embarrassed of her little...phobia still. And even more so that it was obvious beyond her control. That her body decided to give her away without her consent.
Treyen was sorry? For....what, exactly? That he laughed at her stupid fear? Or that she had a stupid fear? "It's okay...you're just normal," she smiled. While she was a freak.

The hold Treyen had on her hand only got tighter. She was bound to overcome this fear of books at some point, right? Like...maybe ten years from now? Because the Head Boy did like them, yet he supposed they could stay hidden some place if Ellie happened to be around.
Like now, because he decided not to bring any book to the last train home. Not when he had such awesome people to spend time with, certainly not reading. Plus, Dallin will behave, right? So, no need to throw a book at him either. No need for books at all. At the moment, anyway.
He couldn't help but chuckle at her words, "I think none of us are truly normal," he said, but then again...who was? It wasn't precisely normal to love and hate a single sport at the same time, you know?
Since they'd been standing long enough, and no one had dared to open the door, Treyen ventured taking a seat, guiding Ellie along. His hand still holding hers, the other one close to his wand, because if someone got to open the door...he'll be closing it in an instant. Wielding it shut from intruders.
"I was wondering," didn't he always? "Would you go to Dorset with me for a couple of days when I return from Simon's? If your father approves, of course, and if you want to." Those were rather important things to consider. Chances were her mother won't be having an issue with that, since she seemed perfectly at ease with their relationship, but...truth be told, Treyen didn't know if her father felt the same way. And, sure, she was allowed to go to France with him, but that was only for a few hours. Not days. "I know my grandparents won't be home, at least I think they won't be there," since they were going to Romania, "But Kaika will," he said. It was her house now, after all.
So, either way, "I figure we could spend some time by the beach and play Quidditch before I finally move to London," though, some of his things will be there tomorrow.
There. He'd asked. Now it was up to Ellie, and Ellie's father, of course.

There. He'd asked. Now it was up to Ellie, and Ellie's father, of course.
"I don't know," she shrugged, "I think you're pretty normal." At least he didn't have stupid things that he was stupidly afraid of for no good reason. "You know, aside from being mad enough to love me." That thing. That made him slightly abnormal.
Ellie smirked again when he decided he'd guarded the door, physically at least, long enough. She didn't think twice to curl up onto the seat beside him. And, really, she didn't think that anyone would come in. At least, not if they'd opened the door to see them sitting here. She was a 'monster', after all. People were probably keen to avoid her. Which worked well to their advantage, even if that wasn't exactly the reputation she wanted.
She drummed her fingers against his hand as she listened to his thoughts. Or proposition, rather. He was really wondering that? Before long, she was smiling. "I've never been to a beach...," she said hesitantly. But they'd always sounded appealing.
It also surprised her that he was willing to play Quidditch with her. Out of school. For whatever reason, she'd thought he'd want her to avoid playing something that he hated seeing her play so much, while it was her 'off-season', so to speak. But, of course, she wouldn't say anything about it. And she'd definitely take him up on the opportunity. "Sounds fun. I'll ask Daddy." He HAD to let her go.
Then why did she feel like she should ask her mom instead?
"Is it okay with Kaika?" If she would be there...her opinion, or consent, kind of mattered, right? And it had to be okay with her before Ellie got too excited about this.

If you were going to compare Treyen Lockhart to WWW ...then yes, the Head Boy was entirely normal and the Professor was clinically insane. But this wasn't the case. So, he just kept on listening, it seemed she had something else to add.
Now he was fighting the urge to roll his eyes. The chuckle that left his lips seemed to help accomplish that. "Why, of course, I forgot I was crazy for loving you," he pretended to agree with her while clearly shaking his head in disagreement. Honestly, there was no way to win this particular argument. At least she knew he loved her. At least she believed it. The one thing she seemed to question were the reasons for him to feel that way. That's what he needed to work on. But for now, "It's even worse for you, you know? Because you like someone who's mad. According to you." Mad enough. Almost the same.
Wait.
"Seriously?" She's never been to a beach before? Good thing Hogwarts has a lake, then. ACTUALLY, "You do know how to swim, right?" because he knew Rae could, and Arya could. How come he never went to the lake with Ellie? The realization of it was saddening, truth be told, because it was too late now. But at least they could have the beach, possibly. "Well, now you have a reason to convince your father," he said, a small smirk made its way to his face.
As far as his sister goes, she already knew he was coming. He always did. And he still had his room there. She didn't mind people coming along. Cricket always did. And she'd been asking about his Ravenclaw girlfriend, who was also Captain, and was intrigued for some odd reason. "She won't mind," he said, shaking his head. It was true, she won't mind, mainly because she was curious. "Plus, she's not going to be around all day, she has practices to attend to at Wimbourne." She still pretended to live in Dorset, even if she was in there at night, most of the times.

In fact, foolishly, she had only gone blonde for Gideon. Wrongly, she assumed that he would like her better if she tried to emulate a typical "pretty" girl. However, she was starting to realize that perhaps Gideon was with her because he liked her for who she was as a person. It was a lesson she was still learning... Selina had some insecurity issues.
So when he voiced he thought the red suited her she added, "Yeah I know. Blonde was fun, but I missed the red hair to be honest. I'm surprised you found me with the red hair an. I've been blonde so long now."
Getting settled, Gideon absently released Doyle from his temporary home to avoid the risk of squishing him in his pocket as he sat. Placing the pygmy puff on the back of the seat cushion, the fifth year returned his full attention to his girlfriend.
He wrinkled his nose, trying to hide the embarishment of his near miss despite Selina's own belief that it had been perfectly possible. "Well in my turn to be honest...I almost didn't," he admitted, briefly wondering what had in fact made him stop from passing the compartment. Selina had been staring out the window so he hadn't caught her eyes, only a small sliver of her face had even been visible.

"I think that's a side effect of insanity, forgetfulness," she giggled. "Or denial." He was in denial that he was crazy. So he'd forgotten. See?
But he had an amazing point and... Ellie decided to comment on that, too. "Worse still that I love someone who's mad." Yes, she realized what she'd said. That was why her teeth had a firm grip on her bottom lip as soon as she'd spoken, and her cheeks and nose got all rosy. It didn't feel at all liberating to say. At least not immediately. Instead, she became quite nervous, waiting for Treyen to counter it. Because, surely, that's what would happen.
Basically, though, she was really insane, yeah? That's what he was getting at? Which was okay, she supposed. She was fine with being crazy. It was alright. There were exceptions. And it wasn't like either of them were even close to the crazy of Jacob Blunt so...
Yeah...moving on. Seriously. And swimming. "Yeah, I do." She'd told him that before. "I just don't very often..." It simply wasn't her favorite thing in the world.
Sure her dad would totally buy into that. Let her go to another city with her boyfriend for a few days because she's never been to a beach before. ...She was going to have to work on that sales pitch. And, really, she should ask her mom first. Her mom seemed to like the idea of Treyen. Surely she'd agree to this. She was more than willing to let her go to France last year so...
Ellie'll go to her mom.
She nodded. Kaika would be okay with it then...Ellie was looking forward to this. "Okay." And maybe....maybe she could ask his sister a few questions....?
Or she'd just ask Finn. She was going to be playing with him anyway. She knew him anyway. She could just ask him. She would just ask him.

Lana safely made her way toward the front of the train and looked for Laura. She hadn't expected it to be as hectic as it was boarding the train, but she just guessed that everyone was overly excited to be going home for a bit. Passing a few compartments, she noticed some sad students and she felt sad seeing a few people as well. It was her first year, but there were faces that she wouldn't be seeing next year and that made her sad.
Poking her head into a compartment, she was welcomed by the sight of her twin and smiled. "Laura! I found you!" she giggled as she plopped down beside her. "I was almost afraid that I was going to lose you in all the people outside." Mummy and daddy wouldn't be happy if they didn't show up together once they arrived back in London.
Their first year was coming to an end and it had been a rough once, but at least they were together again.
Laura giggled as Lana sat down next to her. "I'm glad." Laura smiled as she put her feet up on the seat and snuggled up to her sister, she was glad that they were friends again, and was more like what they used to be, but she was sure they wouldn't be as close as they once was.
"I tried to find you but well it was mayhem out there when we was boarding the train." Laura sighed as she looked up into her sister eyes. "I want to appologise for being a pain this term." Laura hoped her sister would spend more time with her next term. "I shouldn't have said what I did to you."
