The train ride home. That was a phrase that always made Selina's stomach drop. Hogwarts was, in the most sincere sense, a place that was more home for Selina than her own home was during summers. It was not that her family did not love her and vice versa; hogwarts was just home for a majority of the year. A place where her friends, passions, and life were. So leaving... It was a weird idea.
She leaned down to adjust her boots before she walked into the train corridor. Her eyes flickered around the train until she found a place for her to sit down and rest. Finally she stumbled into a compartment and sat. She had a long ride home.

Home.
That’s where they were heading though for students who were just as comfortable at Hogwarts there their own house, it was a mixed concept. Home was sometimes wherever one happened to be living at the moment. Sometime it might seem odd that he took the train living closer to Hogsmeade then London, but he enjoyed the trip especially the last two years sharing it with people he was close to.
After setting his trunk with his broom and guitar in the storage compartments, Gideon went in search for a seat for the journey. Corvin had opted to simply fly home so he was alone except for the newest member of the family menagerie, the pygmy puff Doyle currently asleep in his pocket. Strolling down the corridor, he sifted through the growing crowds looking for friends or familiar faces finally coming upon one in a front compartment. Though he would fight to admit it, he had almost passed Selina since unknowing to him she had switched back to her normal red hair after so much time as a blonde and he had gotten used to it.
“Hey there stranger,” he remarked stepping inside once he opened the door. “So you’re back to your redhead self I see.”
Finally it was time for Adeline to go home. She was happy to go home now because her brother wants her to live with her so for her it will be an eventful and very fun summer. A silly crooked grin plastered Adeline pale face as she walked onto the train and wondered if she could find a seat anywhere but then again she had to be one of the first people to be there.
Adeline wondered if any of her friends or the friends that she had left were here. She knew that what she had said to Alec would be around the school in no time and that people would hate her for. She knew that the words would get jumbled up and people would make it all a big deal.
Oh well alls she had to do now was find an empty compartment or find someone to sit with and make knew friends.

Her pale blue eyes were focused on the Hogwarts landscape that was applets drifting into the distance when another person entered the compartment. Her feet were folded under her body as she was basically attached to the window. Something was drawing her to the castle as it dissolved from her line of sight. She knew it had a lot to do with the fact that she simply loved the institution she was leaving behind for the summer; however, there was also something enchanting about hogwarts that focused her gaze. So when Gideon entered the compartment she did not even notice him until he spoke up.
When he did actually speak up she jumped a little in surprise at his entrance. She quickly turned away from the window to look at him and smiled when she noticed the familiar face. However, it did not surprise her that he had noticed the red hair right away. Ever since she bewitched it to blonde she noticed that Gideon was not as enthusiastic about the blonde. He still cared for her redgardless so her hair was not an issue, but she could tell he was glad to have her hair back to what it was naturally.
"Yep, blonde is so last night. Besides, I missed the red hair... And I know you did too."
Evelyn wasn't really sure if she wanted to go home. She was looking forward tom see her family; there was absolutely no doubt about it. But..the way things were at the moment, she would rather have stayed at Hogwarts during the summer. Unfortunately, that was not an option. Dragging her luggage behind her, she started to walk down the train, looking for an empty compartment.
Thankfully, she was a little early and she found a compartment in a little while. Placing her luggage on the top bunk, she settled down on seat. She looked out the window, wondering if she was going to have a good summer...she leaned her head against the back of her seat and continued to look out the window.

Alyssa dragged her trunk along the train corridor looking for an empty compartment but as she walked by one, she noticed Adeline sitting by herself. Knowing firsthand how lonely it can be, Alyssa decided that she would join her. So she pushed open the door and popped her head in. "Hi Adeline. Can I join you, or would you rather be alone by yourself?" Alyssa asked the first year Hufflepuff.

Adeline look to find someone opening the door. And of course it was Alyssa. Adeline closed her book and set it down beside her. "Are you here to yell at me again?" Adeline said calmly. She remembered what happened on twitter earlier today. She wasn't to happy about what Alyssa had said to her and now she really didn't know what else to say to her at the very moment.

Could in fact easily see both Selina and the goings on outside the train with ease as he sat down.
Hearing Selina speak, Gideon couldn't help chuckle at her choice of words, shrugging at her comment about his missing the red. "What can I say...the color suits you," he said admittedly with a smile. As much as it didn't full matter to him one way or the other, liking her as a whole either way, it was the truth.

Alyssa frowned. "Now why would I yell at you? Is it because of what I said earlier? I wasn't yelling at you, Adeline. I'm not even mad at you even if you are mad with me right now. I'm just being protective over Alec. You have to agree with me that it wasn't right of you to tell him that he could be your friend only on your terms. Alec wants to be friends with everybody and I know that he hated having to hurt you. But by you asking him to chose, that just wasn't right. Now if you want me to leave I'll go." Alyssa stood up and grabbed hold of her trunk.

Adeline looked at her. "It's just I'm not used to this." she frowned. "I don't want to say something wrong to him and it makes me act weird because I've never had this happen. In the muggle world before Hogwarts, I well...never had any friends at all and I'm don't know how I'm suppose to act. It's all still new to me." Adeline looked at her blue book. "You can stay here but I don't really want to talk about Alec." Adeline looked at Alyssa.

Alyssa sat back down and scooted over closer to Adeline. "I know that it must be hard for you to talk with him right now but believe me when I tell you that by the time you next see him, it will seem like nothing had happened. I know it's hard making friends. I felt the same way too last term. I was going into Hogwarts a Second Year, but I felt like a firstie because I didn't know anyone there. Everybody already had their friends and it was hard to fit in. It still is hard to fit in believe me. I struggle with that feeling everyday, but you will eventually find your own group of friends. We don't have to talk about Alec at all. In fact, if you want to, you can continue reading your book. I'll just sit here and keep you company. "

Adeline shrugged. "But did you have friends before Hogwarts?" she asked him. "But after what i said to Alec it seems like everyone hates me now...you know for telling him how I feel and for kissing him." Adeline frowned. "I should have never told him or did anything." she looked down at her book and opened up her trunk and threw her book in it. "The book was boring anyway." she laughed. Maybe talking about Alec would be a good thing.

"Not really. Cody was the more popular one. I had friends, but they were mostly hers or my brothers and sister's. As for what you said to Alec, don't think about. No one hates you. Like I said, things will blow over, and everybody will forget that you said to him. And don't feel embarrassed about showing your feelings. I'm sorry that your feelings weren't returned. But you're young, Adeline. You're only a first year. You may think you love him, but that's because he's the first boy you've liked. I bet when next term comes around, you'll have a whole bunch of boys coming after you. Like Messer for example. I think he kind of likes you too. So don't shut out the other boys, okay?"

Either that or she was getting more lazy than usual. Or both. Because she was totally going to use this whole being-able-to-use-magic-outside-of-school-because-she-is-old to her advantage. She had her cat under one arm and her wand in the other, pointed at her luggage which floated near the roof of the train. Yeah, now that she was allowed to use magic to be more lazy, she was going to. Another thing she decided to be lazy about was finding a compartment of her own.
And luckily for her it wasn't long before the blonde spotted someone she knew: Evelyn. OR EVIE! She knocked lightly on the door before saying "Hey, mind if I join you?" she asked, not adding that she was too lazy to find a compartment of her own. Or that her arm was getting sore from carrying her fat kitty around.

Evelyn was just about to go to sleep when she heard someone knock on the compartment door. She opened her eyes and slightly frowned. Seriously, did someone have to disturb her!? But..the frown disappeared off her face when she saw that it was the girl she'd met in the common room.
"Hey Sammy. Yeah, sure." Evelyn smiled and nodded towards the opposite seat. She was glad that she had some company..maybe talking to someone would make her feel a little less nervous about going home.

Sammy grinned happily before saying "Thanks" then moved her wand slowly so her luggage would go onto one of the bunks. She shoved her wand in her pocket quickly before taking the seat Evie had indicated and sitting cross legged and placing her cat in her lap.
She tilted her head to the side slightly. Something was different, not necessarily bad but different. Evie hadn't been a particularly 'bouncy' person when Sammy had first met her at the Quidditch party, but she seemed quieter. If that were even possible. "Are you alright? You seem tired" she said, starting to slowly pet her cat. She could totally be a therapist if she wanted to be.

Its official, the term was over and Messer gonna missed Hogwarts SO much during the holiday especially since he hasn't plan anything special for this summer. Well, at least he could owl Alec and send him some annoying letters or something, it will keeps him sane over the summer.
Now onto finding an empty compartment, that's the hard part it seems that most of the compartment already occupied. He just hoped this one wasn't. "Umm..Hello. Mind if I join you girls? The other compartment already full."

This time, Gwen could easily say she felt sorry the term had to end. While walking along the train corridor, with the cat following her, the girl held the notebook tightly in her hands. It took her a while to finally spot a not so full compartment. Pushing the door, the third year entered and held the door a bit open so that Jinx could follow her.
She then crashed on the seat by the windoe and flipped open her notebook. Drawings, sketches, train tickets, letters… practically all the small things she had gathered in the past few years. Finally getting to a blank page, she started drawing a few lines with the quill. Only, as she did so, Jinx extended his paw and started chasing the quill and playing with it. Hmmm. What to draw?, the young Ravenclaw asked herself and glimpsed out the window, as if she would be searching for an idea.

Well, well, well, what do we have here? Zeke smirked to himself as he spotted Gwen in the train. Since he still hasn't found a place to stay in, he decided to follow her around. Creepy? Nah, not really. When he saw that she finally decided to settle in a compartment, he went in too. "Hey Gwen," he greeted with that smirk not leaving his face. "I won't ask if I could sit, since you probably won't let me. So, I'll make myself comfortable now."
He placed his trunk and other stuff where they're supposed to be. Now Zeke was really reconsidering buying a pet for himself. Next term, perhaps. When he was seated comfortably beside her, he leaned over and followed her line of sight where she was looking outside, "Nice view, eh?" Zeke remarked, finally looking at her with a smile.
He probably looked a bit different from everyone since he was wearing not casual clothes. Zeke was wearing a black coat and tie. Not that he was gonna get married. For Merlin's sake, he was only 14. He isn't even in love. Nosir. He was in a coat and tie cause as soon as he gets home, Zeke'll head straight to visit Janine. It has been a while..
It seemed he had taken Selina by surprise as she seemingly jumped at his presence. Following her former gaze out the window, Gideon spotted the castle off in the distance as they rounded a turn on the tracks and figured she might have been caught up in the view. He stepped further inside, debating where to sit, finally opting on the spot beside her for he himself didn't feel the need to be close to the window.
As Gideon sat beside Selina she turned her knees around so she could look at Gideon face on. Once she was settled so that she was sitting on her knees facing him, she took a moment to really digest what is was Gideon was saying. A smile crept up on her face when he chuckled at her comment about his preference to the red. Going blonde, although an enlightening experience for Selina, was not one of her brighter ideas. In fact, foolishly, she had only gone blonde for Gideon. Wrongly, she assumed that he would like her better if she tried to emulate a typical "pretty" girl. However, she was starting to realize that perhaps Gideon was with her because he liked her for who she was as a person. It was a lesson she was still learning... Selina had some insecurity issues.
So when he voiced he thought the red suited her she added, "Yeah I know. Blonde was fun, but I missed the red hair to be honest. I'm surprised you found me with the red hair an. I've been blonde so long now."
"Not really. Cody was the more popular one. I had friends, but they were mostly hers or my brothers and sister's. As for what you said to Alec, don't think about. No one hates you. "I'm really close to my older and my younger brother. My sister and I are two totally different people and I've never gotten along with her once in my life." Love? Pfft. She doesn't love him. "I'm not in love with Alec, I just like him more than normal. I think it's just a kind of shock to me and him. I'm still trying to make myself not feel this way anymore." What? Messer? "I barely talk to him why would he kinda like me?" Adeline asked her.

Adeline was deep in thought when someone started to open the door. Who was it? Oh didn't the call him Messer? That was his last name right? But what was his first name? Eh she didn't know at all. Adeline looked at him and nodded.
"Sure come on in, it's only Lyssie and I." Adeline blushed.

Evelyn smiled as she watched Sammy settle down on the seat. She'd been nervous about going home for the past few days..sigh. Family could be so annoying..they were just so freaked out about her using magic that it was just..ridiculous. They'd always been kinda weird about it but lately..it was starting to get really horrible. She gave a small sigh. She just hoped that everything would get better soon.
Hm? Was she alright? Evelyn looked up, a little surprised. Did her face show how nervous she actually felt? Erm.. "I'm fine. Just a little exhausted, that's all." Anyway, she didn't want to talk about her weird family problems with Sammy, as nice as she seemed. "How have you been?" Evelyn asked, with a small smile.

With Jinx still playing with the quill, messing up the whole drawing, the third year still glimpsed out the window, not really looking at the landscape, but more like staring blankly at it. She had heard footsteps approaching the compartment, but didn’t mind to look. The train corridor was really crowded with students so meh… She honestly didn’t care who came in, just not…
‘Zeke’, she said, looking really puzzled at the Gryffindor. Out of all the places… out of all the compartments he came here?, the third year thought. Even though what he said next would have normally made her even more upset, the young Ravenclaw laughed. It is funny because it’s true. She would have definitely said no. ‘Hmm?’, she mused, finally managing to draw her attention back towards Zeke. The view? She hadn’t really been looking at it. ‘Umm… yes?’, she said, grabbing the quill from the cat’s paw.
‘How have you been?’ See? The beginning of a totally normal conversation. She could TOTALLY be nice. ‘Didn’t choke with anything at the feast?’ Errr… ot maybe NOT.

"I'm not in love with Alec, I just like him more than normal. I think it's just a kind of shock to me and him. I'm still trying to make myself not feel this way anymore." What? Messer? "I barely talk to him why would he kinda like me?" Adeline asked her.
"Well then just act normal around him. I bet he misses having you as his friend. As for your feelings, just take it one day at a time. And speaking about Messer, he must be psychic or something, because here he is right now." Alyssa smiled as she looked up and saw Messer poke his head in.

Now onto finding an empty compartment, that's the hard part it seems that most of the compartment already occupied. He just hoped this one wasn't. When Messer opened the compartment door, he's surprise to see Lyssie and a first year girl he met back earlier this term talking to each other. What's her name again? Abby? Addy? Adeline? Oh yeah I think its Adeline.
"Umm..Hello. Mind if I join you girls? The other compartment already full."
Alyssa smiled when the younger Huffie poked his head in."Hi Messer. Sure come join us. You know Adeline right? If you don't, now is the best time to say hi."
