As always, Jonathan sat in the front of the train. It's always more comfortable in this side of the train. Not too crowded. Not too many people. Well, technically there are a lot of students in this side of the train but maybe it's just Jonathan's habit of sitting in the front compartments.

He walked from compartment to compartment until he finally manage to occupy one compartment without any students sitting in. He tossed his sling bag into the side of the seat and laid on the soft couch.

Yep. Cozy indeed.

Sammy seriously disliked the first few minutes she spent going to Hogwarts. It's like everyone she knew/liked disappeared off the face of the planet. It was beyond weird. She couldn't even find poodle boy and his head of hair stuck out like a sore thumb let alone someone she could have a civilized conversation with about Doctor Who like Amy or that Maybelle girl. GOD FORBID THAT HAPPEN. Ugh. She walked along the train holding her cat in her arms looking around for a free cabin or a cabin with someone she knew in it.

Eventually she found one. She quickly opened the door and closed it behind her before placing her cat on the seat and taking the seat next to it, throwing her feet up on the opposite seat as Moggy curled up next to her glad to be resting finally.

Before he had the chance to the earlier comment, Matt wandered back off into his thoughts about what had happened over the summer; the favorite part of it definitely was the birthday surprise that he had planned out for a couple of weeks and it went off perfectly. Though he really realized that it wasn't something that he'd forget and maybe that would be a new idea for every year, nothing too extravagant since he wasn't rich like his cousin and couldn't exactly afford to buy a lot of stuff. But as Stella decided to bring up the whole fact that he hadn't helped her with moving her trunks sooner, he just chuckled slightly since he knew she was playing around anyway. "It's true I wasn't however.. maybe next time I could just levitate them for you." Not saying that she couldn't have done it herself since next term she was going to be of age anyway, nevertheless though a slight grin quickly plastered itself on his lips. Why people had relied on magic so much was really beyond him because what if magic hadn't existed? There'd be so many people lost since they wouldn't be able to do anything, that was the very reason that he was happy that his parents had taught him the muggle way of doing things.

As soon the whole competition thing between them returned once again, he couldn't help but chuckle because honestly this was absolutely hilarious and it wasn't meant to be taken seriously either. "Well as I said earlier, the Ravenclaws are going to have to settle for second again. Hopefully that won't be a problem for the house.." He merely grinned at his girlfriend since he wasn't going to let this point be forgotten even if it had been all kidding anyway. That grin quickly changed to a look of slight concentration as she asked about the painting he had mentioned, the patronus idea definitely had been a challenge for him but he always loved a challenge. "I did, I was inspired by my parents bringing up what their patronuses were and to answer your next question; yes you will. Since my parents would still love to meet you and I can show you around LA in the process but it seems like my house has just turned into a gallery of my art. There's pictures and paintings in pretty much every room that either I drew or had found online." He knew that meeting the parents either way was going to be quite interesting but he was definitely looking forward to it. The thoughts of himself transferring from Rygal to Hogwarts flickered across his brain as she mentioned being happy about actually transferring, if neither of them transferred; they wouldn't have met and honestly at this point he couldn't picture his life without her. "Do you ever wonder about the other possibilities if you hadn't transferred?" Obviously he was curious, even if he didn't want to think about it.

Melanie pulled her attention away from the rather disappointing licorice wand to see a boy standing in their compartment door. He looked to be about their age except for the fact that he was taller than the average 11-year-old, although that could have just been because Melanie was sitting down. She noticed his eyes flit to the pile of candy with a greedy glint, and Melanie briefly regretted sitting them on the seat closest to the door. Still, not wanting to be rude, she nodded.

"Sure, come on in," she answered, smiling lightly at the stranger. "I'm Melanie," she said, touching the tips of her fingers to her collarbone, "and this is Alex and Silvia." She gestured to each of the other girls respectively, and briefly considering introducing the animals before deciding that might seem crazy.

"Hello Melanie, Alex and Silvia" Conrad replied. It felt good to finally sit down. He was eyeing their candy- it didn't look like there was a single item from the trolley that these girls didn't have at least one of. He could feel himself staring, but at the same time, he couldn't make himself stop. To distract himself, Conrad tried to make conversation.

"So, um" he mumbled, prying his eyes from the shiny wrappers and packaging, "What houses are you three in?"

Melanie raised an eyebrow as she watched the boy staring intently at their candy, as if trying to force-power some over to him. Subtle, she thought, barely stopping herself from rolling her eyes.

"We're only first-years; we haven't been sorted yet," she replied, her tone reflecting her offense at his candy-oogling. However, not wanting to spoil a first impression, Melanie quickly attempted to soften the remark by elaborating. "I think I'll be in Ravenclaw or Gryffindor, though, because those are the houses my family have always been in."

As an even further gesture of making nice, she waved a hand toward the pile of snacks. "Er...would you like some candy? We have plenty," she offered. Nothing made new friends like candy, right?

Nikolas kept looking at the window with a bored expression, he could actually go out and find someone to talk to but guess what? He was too lazy. Instead he crossed his arms and continued looking at the window. He was thinking of taking a nap but before he could close his eyes, he heard someone opening the compartment door. It was Emma.

He couldn't help but to smile at the sight of her, he hadn't seen her since the feast and hadn't update her about his life. "Well, well, well...long time no seeing you!" he hugged her back, he was happy to see her again. "Of course, I'm always ready" he winked. "My summer was great" he nodded "I went to Scotland with my brother and that's pretty much what I did my whole summer and meeting with Jade once in a while. "Your owls?" he asked with a hint of confusion "Uhh...sadly not" he shook his head and he wondered why. "And what about your summer?" he asked.

Ryan hated dares but he had to admit the were fnny.He found a bunch of Firsities and said''Guys How awesome do you think I am.''

Everett was in a fairly good mood as he searched for a compartment. He had a new guitar and really he didn't know why he His new guitar slung over his back, he walked down the corridor, glancing in each compartment for a free one or someone he knew. Then he noticed Sammy. He stood outside for a few moments, trying to decide if it was worth going in, before he made his decision. Opening the door, he looked at her.

"Hey," Everett said, and without waiting for her to say if he could sit or not, he took a seat on the opposite side to where she was sitting.

"Defence Against the Dark Arts and Charms, I can't wait to finally learn some hexes! But I'm pretty worried about Care of Magical Creatures because I'm terrible with animals" she told Hannah. It would be so nice to be able to curse some of her cousins for a change, not the other way around.

Matt had wandered off into his thoughts, and Stella couldn't help but be curious what he was thinking about. It didn't seem like anything bad, as she could read his expression pretty well. She definitely wondered if he was thinking about the park, like she had been, but before she could ask, he'd broken his silence with a chuckle, and she grinned at his comment. "Peut-être," she replied, switching to French just to continue with the playful aspect of the conversation. She knew by now that it wouldn't confuse him, especially when it was a simple one-word phrase, but it was still amusing. Even if part of her still wanted to know what he'd been thinking about before he'd spoken. Odds were it wasn't anything to do with her trunks, after all. The little grin on his face after he'd spoken had piqued her interest as well, and she sent him a curious look. None of what had been said was that amusing, or so she thought. Maybe it's the part about overusing magic? He can't think I actually would do that, she thought. Obviously she wouldn't have done what she had at his apartment if she really advocated using magic for everything.

Any worry about if he'd misinterpreted earlier comments disappeared as he had continued their game regarding house competition with another laugh, and the grin came back as he'd spoken. "Hopefully it won't be a problem for Slytherin if it turns out they're putting their faith in the wrong place," she parried with a tiny giggle. Of course, that wasn't really directed toward the house, but none of it was entirely serious anyhow. She wasn't about to back down with her own points-earning though, either, and she knew he knew that too. He'd sidetracked her with the discussion of his painting, however, and she'd returned his look with another curious one that turned quickly into a bright smile as he'd kept speaking. "I get to go to LA with you?," she asked, excitement barely contained, even as she almost forgot he'd also said she'd get to see a lot more of his artwork. She wasn't even worried about him mentioning his parents, as he'd assured her before that they wouldn't have any problems with her. Of course, there would be her own family to deal with too, but that was already planned for next summer. Except for Talia, but he'd already met her and she knew her sister approved of him. Even if she teased her often.

His last question sidetracked her again, however, and her excitement dimmed a little as she turned thoughtful. The very idea of her not having gotten to come to Hogwarts wasn't something she liked to think about, and not having gotten to see him again was even further up her list of things she didn't want to consider, but she figured he wanted an answer. "No," she replied simply and honestly. Not having transferred would have meant she wouldn't have escaped all the cruel things that had been said after she'd broken up with Ethan. Even though she still had friends back at Beauxbatons, it hadn't been home to her anymore. Hogwarts, and subsequently Matt as well, was home. Not having that was just depressing.

'I'm Lilly,' sher smiled at the girl. 'Yeah, thanks,' Lilly sat down. She swa a chocolate frog card in the Aki's hand. 'Who did you get?'

Sammy had been just chilling. She knew eventually someone would want to join her in her cabin of pure awesome, then someone not so awesome decided to join her. Poodle boy. "Hey loser" she said. It was his greeting now. Because he was a loser. As much as she wouldn't admit it, she was really glad to have some company other than her cat. Even if it was Everett. Loser poodle boy. One thing she noticed as the poodle boy joined her was the new guitar. "See you got a new guitar" she said nodding her head approvingly. Well he wouldn't have been able to play his old one 'cause Amy killed it and now Sammy imagined Everett would kill Amy if she came within ten feet of his new one. And Sammy would be in the middle of it defending herself with a book ... again. Then she'd probs sing. Most likely something from the little mermaid. You know.

Everett chuckled as he rolled his eyes at Sammy calling him a loser. "Yeah, considering my other one was mutilated. This one is actually a better guitar so I'm happy with it," He said as he looked at the guitar. It was shinier than Rykor had been, which almost always meant it would be better. He had already named this one. He had decided on Turk after 3 days of intense thinking and watching of Scrubs. "I'm not going to let this one even come close to being destroyed. Turk will not die like his predecessor did." After the death of Rykor, Everett had actually considered getting a different instrument that wouldn't die so easily, like a kazoo or a harmonica. Then Turk came into his life and he decided he would just stick to his guitar.

"Hmm..." that question put her in deep thought.

"Charms..DADA, and probably Potions.."she answered and then she asked, "You?"


"Oh!It's Salazar Slytherin...My first Chocolate Frog Card.." she replied and smiled.

Daichi decided to walk back and forth on train in the hope of finding someone he knew. So far , he hadn't seen anyone that looked familiar and it dawned him that he didn't have much friends now that he was looking. He sighed heavily, that really needed to change this year.

With a new set goal in mind, the Slytherin walked passed the filled compartments but looking inside they were all talking and he didn't wanted to interupt them. Walking further, Daichi passed an almost empty compartment with a boy laying on the couch. As he passed it , he suddenly stopped and frowned. He had looked familiar. Taking a step back, the third year peered through the glass and grinned when he saw it was Jonathan.

Despite his major image change , Daichi still had some of his old habits and that included trying to scare Jonathan (and fail at it later) . He opened the compartment door slowly, trying not to make a noise. He winched when the door sqeaked. Once inside, the Slytherin looked down at Jonathan before poking his stomach. Poke poke poke~

Jonathan closed his eyes for awhile. It is a long train ride to Hogwarts, so it's only fair to give himself a nice long nap. Besides, no one was there in the compartment with him to talk to so he'll just do whatever it is he wants to do. Jonathan's eyes slowly closed and his thoughts drifted as the train moves.

Then when he was about to sleep, he then felt someone poking him... and in the stomach too. He immediately opened his eyes and sat down. WHO ARE YOU?! Jonathan looked at the person, culprit, who is poking him in the stomach. What kind of person would poke someone who is sleeping.

Yawn.

"Who are you?" he asked with a tired face. He can't seem to remember the boy's name but surely he looked very familiar to him. Too familiar. Was he in Slytherin too?

Daichi had to bit his lower lip to not break out laughing. Kurumi had said that his laugh had given him away ...and his love for chocolate... And when he heard Jonathan's question he decided to play a little more.

He shrugged his shoulders as he sat down on the couch on the other side. "Sorry, i was looking for a place to sit and the other compartments were full" Daichi looked through the window for a second, watching the landscape rush by. "I saw this one was almost empty so i poked you to ask if i could sit here" He looked back and almost smiled. His lips curled up ever so slightly before he remembered his little prank and stopped himself from smiling.

He sighed as he leaned against the couch. "I'm new by the way. Going to Hogwarts starting my third year" he nodded, oh man he was getting good at this hehe. Daichi checked his wrist watch and waited till it hit the twelve before looking back up at Jonathan. Kurumi knew who he was in seven minutes... now see how long it would take for Jonathan.

Bella was running to catch the train before she missed it. "Finailly I made it." Bella got in the train and set down in a empty compartments and looking out the window watch other students getting on the train and she didnt see that girl she was talking too "Maybe she found her friends. Good maybe I can be alone". Bella was really tired so she want to go to sleep. She turn her head and close her eyes.

Jonathan out his hat back to his head. The person seems very familiar to him but he can't put his finger to who he is. Jonathan was really bad at guessing games too. Jonathan just stared at him for awhile as he sat down on the couch opposite to him.

Pfffshhh... Whatever.

Jonathan raised his eyebrow as the student acted cool. Unbelievable "you poke people in their sleep?" he repeated what he just had said "You must be a hufflepuff" he laid back down again and stared at him again.

There is something about this person that is really familiar but he did say that he was new. So he's about to be sorted. "So you haven't been sorted yet." he mumbled as he stared at the ceiling. He might be sorted to Hufflepuff since he has that poking fetish. Eck. He still can't get rid of the fact that his face is so familiar. It's on the tip of his tongue but it's unfortunate that he can't let it out.

AHHHHH!!!!

Minerva looked at him she was breathing quickly and she pulled herself away from Harvey trying to calm down. She wanted to be able to control it on her own. "That was before this summer. You loved me when I was happy social Minerva. Now." she looked at him with all the exhaustion in her eyes "now I don't feel happy anymore, I can't be around a lot of people, I'm not the same."

Hufflepuff? "I actually hope to get in Slytherin house" he answered as he watched as the boy laid back down while staring at him. See? he wasn't a complete liar at the moment~!

The staring was a little uncomfortable, especially when he had the feeling that Jonathan knew something fishy was going on. But so far his little joke was working and he decided to push the thought aside and focus. He re-checked his watch and noticed that a minute and a half had passed.

"Yes i poke people in their sleep" he said without looking up and kept looking at his watch and thought to himself what a liar he was. Daichi was more of a hugging person~ Hmm... maybe that DID make him slightly a Hufflepuff? O_o

Looking back up at the question, Daichi found himself nodding his head without even realising it. "Yep" he said shortly but to the point and for a second he wondered if he should give the other Slytherin a hint.

He looked at his reflection in the window to check on his styled hair and he decided to freak him out a bit.

"Are you perhaps , Jonathan?" he cocked his head to the side as he looked back at Jonathan while the sunlight fell upon his small winged earring, letting it glisten.

Creepy stalker mode? ON!

Harvey smiled at when she suddenly pulled away from him.. talking to him "Mins... I love you no matter who you are.. yes... alot has happened this summer.. some good ... some ..... bad.. but it hasnt changed how i feel for you.. I see... well we will just have to make you happy wont we.. " he said smiling at her cheekily "Well... I am sure with time you will feel comfortable being around people.. I mean I am surprised you still trusted me after what had happened to you.. you ARE the same... just a little different... thats all.. but to me you will always be the same girl I fell a year ago.. Oh my... we met a year ago today... its the anniversary of the say we met.. " he said smiling to her.. as he gazed into her face.

Asher strenched out on the seat. He knew that it would be quiet a while before they'd be at Hogwarts. So he might as well get comfrontable now. He really wished that the topic of food would go away soon because it was making him hungry.... hungryer. He chuckled when Alec asked if they had a feast at Hogwarts. "Well of course they do. They're no going to let us strive would they?" Derrr. Of course not Asher didn't have enought candy in his trunk to live off of all term.

Potatoes? Well Asher didn't know about that. Pasta on the other hand was the best food ever. No doubt. It must be due to him being from Italy. Maybe Carter was Irish or something. "I don't know about the Potatoes but Caroline and her friend Kita ate an entire Chocolate cake once at Hogwarts." Though he still found it hard to believe that the two girls ate a whole cake.

A giant squid? Why wasn't Asher Romalotti informed of this giant squid. All the things that Caroline told him about the castle and its grounds, she left out a gaint squid.
"A giant squid? No way!"

Asher smirked when he heard Quidditch. "It's amazing guys flying and playing quidditch. You're both going to love it." It was the best part of Hogwarts. Well besides, potions and charms...... And "Defense against the dark arts?" He asked Alec.

"Yeah, I looked over the textbooks." More like forced into by his sister to look at them. "I can't wait to take potions." which was likely to be his favorite subject... besides flying of course.

"What house do you want to be sorted into?" He looked at both of his conpanions, before pulling out a deck of exploading snap cards from his pocket and shuffling them. Of course maybe Anya would know what he was talking about but he doubted that Alec would.

"Well it has been really hard to trust you and Justin. At first really hard, but then I don't know you two are the only two that help with my anxiety not all the way of course, but some." she said as she gave up hope that she would be able to do it on her own. She reached in her bag taking out her medication. "Now Justin is acting all crazy all the time and it scares me. I try not to show him that, but every time he gets angry I feel like I'm locked in that room again. I'm not going to show anyone that though I can't. I have to force myself to be what I use be." she looked down. "I tell you all of this since you know everything."
